Shangri-La Hotel, Tokyo

"What was your first impression? Drawing more of an influence from its Chinese owners than the local design tenets, the Shangri-La is undeniably ornate in a market of more decidedly Japanese (read: spare) properties. But the opulence is never garish—although the hotel is really giving Versailles a run for its money on the number of chandeliers—and feels welcome for international travelers looking for something that reads as classically upmarket. The property itself is in the center of the action at the mouth of Tokyo Station—but there’s a quietness to its positioning. The lofted lobby isn’t grand; like an aerie perched over the city promising tea service and a quiet escape for guests and visitors in equal measure. Backstory. Shangri-La may not have the name brand recognition in the US that it does elsewhere because there are no American hotels in its portfolio, but for Chinese travelers it represents the gold standard in hospitality. Room. While a lot of properties these days want to create a certain homeyness that strips away any semblance that you’re staying in a hotel, Shangri-La—now over a decade old—leans in the opposite fashion. You’re very much living inside of a fantasy of an Asian luxury hotel with burnished wood and lacquer touches; the extra-long daybed hugging the extra-large window is the perfect place for postcard writing while staring out the window at the city down below. Food and drink. The hotel has a link in the popular, upmarket Nadaman chain—a well-reputed venue that dabbles in everything from sushi to teppanyaki; a great introduction to the gamut of Japanese eats if it’s your first time in town. But if you sign up for Horizon Club access you may never need to dine in a proper restaurant—an ever-changing roster of meal-sized snacks rotates throughout the day, including a fully fledged breakfast (poems should be written about the lobster benedict.) Shang also wins on in-room amenities—milestone guests receive little treats like perfectly origami-ed cranes, house-made chocolate bites, or even a sweet musk melon crafted into an edible sculpture. Service. Shangri-La wins the award for quickest check-in; the front desk is right off the elevator on the walk toward the elevator—one quick stop, a pass of the passport and you’re up in your spacious room deplaning in the oversized bathroom. Describe the tribe. Reaching the rooms requires a sharp turn down a dark hallway, which allows for the lobby space and lounge to be occupied by short-term visitors; businessmen and women from down below coming up to talk over briefings while sipping a world-class collection of teas (or whisky for those after-hours rendezvous.) Neighborhood. The closest hotel to Tokyo Station, it’s not so much about the neighborhood perks, but where you can go in a flash. The national hub for its spider web of bullet train tracks, Tokyo Station is—as the name suggests—the most important transfer hub in the city for tourists. Links to both Narita and Haneda are a cinch—the Shangri-La still will even come fetch you from the fray to add some ease to your arrival. A tidbit that simply elevated the stay? It's what you won't remember: Noise. While windows overlook the hectic Tokyo Station, the din is undetectable from the hotel's heavenly perch. Bottom line: Worth it? Why? If opulence and bend-over-backward service are paramount, this sky-high booking nails it on the head." - Brandon Presser

"Shangri-La, Tokyo Like most of Tokyo’s luxury lodgings, the Hong Kong –based hotel company’s only property in Japan occupies the top 11 floors of a prominent skyscraper, this time the Marunouchi Trust Tower Main Building. It offers direct access to Tokyo Station, the terminus of the Shinkansen bullet train network—and also looks onto the Marunouchi business district, the Imperial Palace, Shinjuku’s skyscrapers, Tokyo Skytree and, on a clear day, Mount Fuji—but the real reason to stay here is the stunning interiors. André Fu oversaw the Horizon Club Lounge, with its velvety upholstery and inlaid wood finishes, as wellas two of the restaurants. Don’t miss the Lobby Lounge chandelier: Each of its handmade glass pieces is shaped like a gingko leaf, symbolic in Japanese culture for longevity. Elsewhere, arrangements by Nicolai Bergmann, one of Japan’s most lauded flower artists, add vibrancy to public spaces and guest rooms that balance subdued color palettes and clean-lined furnishings."

Great stay at the Shangri-La Tokyo! This hotel is in the business district, and while there is not a lot of touristy things to do in the immediate area, it is extremely convenient to Tokyo Station (which is basically it's own underground city) and a reasonable cab ride away from basically everywhere we wanted to go. Staff was super pleasant, especially the women who is a host at the Piacere restaurant for breakfast (we ate there daily). We did not take advantage of the pool or gym but both are nice amenities.

Google
Our new go to choice in Tokyo! Location is central, and a two minute walk to Tokyo central train station which means ready access to anywhere in the city and country. Plush large rooms, per the Shangri La brand, in super clean and new condition. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we have had anywhere, not just in variety, but in quality of the dishes. The pumpkin soup, kumquat pastry, aubergine and lobster Benedicts were a few standouts (see photos), and the dining room staff incredibly attentive and friendly. Multiple staff on each of the three days we ate there rushed to help serve us and carry plates back to our table, and recognized us from prior days. ||There is a huge 20 m swimming pool which was perfect for lap swimming and not used much in our several visits there to wash away travel fatigue. Each locker room has a wonderful large jacuzzi and sauna. Again, the gym staff were solicitous with hot towels, bottled water and free snacks.||We loved being able to walk two minutes to the massive high quality food courts in Tokyo Station and the attached department store, Daimaru. They put the food basement floor at Harrods in London to shame, with an incredible array of take out or eat in dishes of all cuisines and prices. ||Very impressed with price, quality of service, accommodations, food. Doesn’t get any better!

Google
Wish there was an option for 4.5. Service is absolutely 5-Star + but the physical facility is showing its age and not sure why Shangri-La has not invested in updating this. Rooms and public areas are well-maintained but the elevators, gym, and other public areas are in need of a "refresh" -- lots of dark wood and chandeliers still abound. For fitness buffs, the gym is small and gets crowded -- the locker area really holds no more than one or two max comfortably. There is one mat for stretching. Also staff a bit lax here about cleaning the locker room - it's so tiny that it really needs to be cleaned after each use since otherwise used towels, slippers, etc. must be moved by next guest. Guest rooms are large and comfortable. Horizon Club and the having the attention of the excellent staff there are worth the splurge although here too a renovation -- with some comfortable seating for breakfast--should be an important priority. When we visited they were still charging extra for "Imperial Garden View" but at this point most of that view is blocked by new construction. One other note on the location: yes it is right by Tokyo Station which is served by numerous metro lines but reality is that access to some of those lines can be a challenging 15-20 minute underground walk. If you want easy access to the metro may want to consider another spot directly adjacent to a subway line. So in summary, the staff is 5*++ and the facility is just not up to the same level.

After arriving from SFO, we checked in to the Shangri La Tokyo at 5 pm. We had 2 rooms booked under separate reservations for a family of 5. I communicated with the hotel prior to arrival asking for 2 rooms as close together as possible and a rollaway. I also requested quiet rooms on a high floor. All of our requests were accommodated and we had a seamless check in. The rooms were so quiet and comfortable. The room temperature was perfect - we like to sleep cold. The bathtub and shower water pressure were heavenly after full days of sight seeing. We requested taxi service multiple times and all ordered with no problems and prompt attention. We also used the concierge twice and they were very patient with me. Beware - they do like to recommend very upscale $$$$ restaurants. We went to a Teppanyaki restaurant and the lowest price was $100 per person! For the next restaurant, we requested something much more casual. It took some time and research by the concierge but they listened to my request and selected the perfect Shabu Shabu restaurant ($$) for us. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Piacere and relaxed with some bubbly in the lounge while kids relaxed in the rooms in between activities. It was a great stay! Highly recommend!

My 5th stay at Shangri-La Tokyo! This is truly my go-to hotel in Tokyo. The hotel is set in a great location (can't beat being right next to Tokyo Station), and the rooms are well-appointed and maintained. However, in my view, what really sets the Shangri-La Tokyo apart is the Horizon Club. It is so nice being able to go back to the Horizon Club for a cup of tea after lunch, or having a glass or two of champagne before dinner! The people in the Horizon Club are what make the place truly special and world-class. They are so helpful and attentive. It is so nice seeing familiar faces whenever I am back in Tokyo, and I really enjoy my conversations with the team. Thank you Suyeon, Kyoko, Aisha, Yukari, Mark, Stephanie, Alireza, Takeshi and Erina!!! We will be back soon!!!

Google
A true definition of a 5 star hotel. It was a bit confusing at first as it just has a few high floors in the building, but got the hang of it. While the service and staff were top notch, do have to mention a few things. If you think you got a hotel with a pool, think again, as it requires a reservation to go to in advance and it has a limitation of maximum 8 people at a time, so would need to plan accordingly. While the hotel offers breakfast, it is at about $50 a person and honestly not worth the money. Did love the room, where not a single little detail was missed.

I returned to Shangri- La Tokyo to celebrate my birthday by myself . I wanted a bit of peace & alone time . |The management team & all the staffs at reception / concierge/ spa and especially at Breakfast provided amazing services throughout my stay ( a Burmese lady at breakfast was amazing - can’t spell her name sorry ) . Also the reception at the horizon club who tried her best to help me get the volleyball VNL 2025 tickets . Thank you . |After what happened last time where I had a terrible experience on the last day of my stay, the management team wrote me an apology and told me they would give me a room upgrade for my next booking . |A promised which they’d kept since I was given a ginormous Premier Suite ( I’d booked a deluxe room with palace garden view ) . |The suite features a living / dining room . Nespresso machine with enough capsules to last you for a few months . Guest toilet as well as a huge bathroom with another toilet . Walk in closet ( a bit dark ) . The suite is on the horizon club floor but I didn’t go the club lounge for breakfast . I prefer the breakfast at Piacere restaurant . More lively . |I gave me this enormous plate of fruits as a birthday treat as well as dorayaki and chocolates ( + many more Japanese treats ) .|The had 2 spa treatments at Chi . A stress relief massage and an Authentic Tokyo experience which involves a bath , a body scrub and a full body massage . Both were amazing . |There is nothing negative about this stay . It was perfect and I will return ( as last year ) at the end of the year but if I can get the volleyball VNL 2025 tickets I might come back as early as July .|Thank you again to everyone at Shangri- La Tokyo . |A special place . |The has 2 spas

Google
A excellent modern hotel located right next to Tokyo station on the 27th - 35th floor of the Marunouchi building. What really sets this hotel apart is the staff - always friendly and eager to help and super efficient. The breakfast restaurant is adequate with a somewhat limited buffet selection and the lounge bar has excellent food and cocktails.

Yelp
BEST HOTEL IN TOKYO. Great location next to Tokyo station. Every detail of our stay was perfect. The customer service was some of the best I've ever had at any hotel around the world. This hotel is ran incredibly well. From check-in, to concierge, the front desk staff, and the breakfast staff - everyone was so friendly and helpful. They even arranged our bullet train tickets and had two friendly staff members escort us all the way to our train at Tokyo station.

Yelp
The food is really good, lots of options, a variety of fruits and desserts. Everything is fresh, beautiful and delicate. The view from the window is also gorgeous.

Yelp
This review is specifically for Shangri-La's afternoon high tea. I came in the other day with a reservation and definitely loved the hotel's interior design--even the elevator has a beautiful chandelier! As for the tea service itself, I was here during the week before Halloween, and they had a Halloween-themed service, which was fun and interesting for an otherwise formal tea service. The attendants were very nice and generally quite informative, although the recommendation of the ginger and lemon tea seemed off as that tea tasted like zero ginger and no lemon. The sweet, savory, and sandwich options are plentiful, although I think the Park Hyatt wins in that area. There is a nice catalog of teas (Park Hyatt's is quite a bit larger and there is greater flavor variety). I liked the Garden of Eden tea. They also have a Golden Circle program with certain hotel families that lets you earn points if you stay or dine with those families often, which is nice. On the whole, definitely a nice experience but I would go back to the Park Hyatt before returning here.

Yelp
This is our hotel to stay in Tokyo. We tried Ritz Carlton Roopongi, the Palace Hotel. this is the hotel for us. Foods are amazing in the club Lounge. Almost everything is tasty and beautiful. Especially egg Benedict! All the different egg Benedicts are amazing!! And other bread! And morning beauty drink shot! And their pancake! Urrr I need to go back again! The place is closer to JR Tokyo station, Daimaru department, Takashimaya, Ginza and Emperor's palace. So convenient! I love the porter service! They wait for us right in front of the door of the bullet train where we get off in JR Tokyo station. They welcome us and take our luggage to lead us to the hotel. It's a walking distance, but Tokyo station is massive. Such an exclusive amazing service We feel very special. Amazing service!!!

Yelp
Shangri la Hotel Tokyo is undoubtably a 5-star experience. From the pick up at the airport to the welcome at the hotel. And prior to our arrival the concierge helps us book our dinners. Thankfully! All of our bookings were smooth. This hotel is conveniently located in Ginza, which also happens to the where all the best sushi joints Are. Service at this hotel is beyond expectations. We had three staff show us to our roo, explain the amenities and so forth. They have a lovely so and gym onsite at well. The rooms are stocked with all the amenities you can dream of. And breakfast! It's perfection. They got you covered on all things delicious.from fresh baked breads, scones, pastries, housemade granola, exotic fruit and a full Japanese breakfast. This is for real the breakfast of champion. I love. This place and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Yelp
Excellent hotel. Beautiful room in great condition. Treat yourself to the breakfast. Excllenr selection and great service. One star down for the very small gym.

Yelp
2 night stay here was magnificent - showcased the best Japanese hospitality - huge rain shower in the spacious room, the hotel only had 7 floors as hotels (the rest is commercial office space) which makes check in very personal (check in registration was in your room while the check in staff walked you to the room, pretty classy!) Cappuccino at tea time was 15000 yen which was rather insane but lunch at the Japanese restaurant was top notch - very elegant service and fresh. Location also very convenient near the Tokyo station and close to shopping and vibrant neighborhood. Recommend!

Yelp
There is a good reason why this is rated the number one hotel in Toyoko. Attention to detail, comfort, outstanding service. Just perfection. What's more to say?

Yelp
Absolute perfection. Booking with AMEX FHR was a win. Got late check out and early check in. Room was big and the bed was huge. Breakfast this am was fabulous. We will definitely come back!!!

Yelp
This is definitely worth the splurge. This was my favorite hotel during my 2.5 weeks in Japan and I stayed here twice. The concierge is so helpful, making all the reservations we requested well in advance, following up with harder to reach places without having to be reminded, a Godsend as the restaurants don't take reservations directly from foreigners. It's also right by Tokyo Station and Nihimbashi station making zipping around town on the subway very useful. The lobbies are beautiful and tasteful with sparkling chandeliers and varnished wood and lovely stained glass. My room each time was honestly one of the best I've ever had and I travel for work a lot. There's a view overlooking the city skyline, a comfortable reading nook/couch with cushions by the window, a small desk, then the shower and bath box is quite sizeable and has a glass wall on the side closest to the bedroom so that from the shower you can see the city view and into the room. As with all hotels here, seemingly, there's a fancy shmancy toilet that opens automatically when you are about to use it, flushes for you when you get up, and all the rest. There are all the amenities you'd need in the room: comb, brush, hairdryer, sewing kit, iron and ironing board, q-tips and cotton balls, shower cap, shoe shining kit, bath salts for the bath, a little loofah for a nicer shower, and even a yoga mat. The gym is sizeable and the showers by the spa area has nice face creams. Needless to say, I'll be back. The only way I think it could improve is if the little printouts the concierge provides for each reservation it makes for you shows not only how long it takes to get there by cab, but also how to get there by Tokyo metro / JR, as well as what exit to get off at once you arrive at the destination station. Another hotel we stayed at had this and it was most convenient.

Yelp
What a fabulous hotel! Our stay was nothing short of extraordinary from start to finish. The hotel is located on the upper floors of a building right outside the Tokyo station. We had an imperial garden room with a lovely view. I loved the modern room and especially the bathroom. They gave you pajamas that were so comfortable. Breakfast at the restaurant Piacerre was incredible. We also ate dinner at Nadaman and loved it! All the facilities at this hotel are top notch, from the gym to the spa to the rooms. Defintitely a great pick while in Tokyo!

Yelp
Stayed 1 night over the last weekend. Due to the tight schedule, had all meals in the hotel. Omakase dinner and a lunch in Nedaman, the Shangrila's Japanese restaurant, and a breakfast bento in Horizon club on 37th floor. The food is simply beyond my expectation description, the best meal probably most expensive meal in my life. All facilities and amenities were high quality and very carefully selected, I can tell. Everything fulfills the definition of luxurious stay. The most convenient and thoughtful service was the escorting the guest from and to the Tokyo station. You can go to the train you need to ride without hassle at all in the station having labyrinth and tens of exits. Definitely recommended. Wonderful hotel!!!

Yelp
This hotel is expensive, yes, but it's definitely understandable when you factor in the impeccable service, gorgeous rooms and lovely amenities. Great, central location that is just steps away from Tokyo station and about a 20 minute walk to Ginza. The things I loved particularly about this hotel: 1) The bathrooms in the room - enormous & luxurious 2) The breakfast buffet - enormous variety of choice, and you can order an item from the menu too (mango pancakes highly recommended) 3) The service - from the concierge, to the porters, to the restaurant waiters: everyone was incredibly pleasant and friendly (above and beyond the Japanese standard) Only con: smoking is allowed in the lobby bar and it can be very unpleasant to encounter this as you're passing by.

Yelp
We were on a 3 day layover in Tokyo, and decided to stay in a central area in a nice hotel. The Shangri-La was one of many options in this area in Tokyo. Here is our experience: Pros: As expected, the staff at Shangri-La are exceptionally polite. As this is Tokyo, where people are already exceptionally polite, you will really experience a level of service that is very good, even in comparison, at least outwardly (keep reading) to other hotels of an equal calibre and cost. As far as quality of furnishings, it is top-notch, and average to good compared with other hotels in the same category. Cons: My family reserved 2 rooms, and asked for them to be side-by-side; they could not do this, and they were unable to even place us on the same floor. This is not their fault, and they tried, but we were at reception for about half an hour, and no one except the lowest level receptionist came out to try to help. I think she tried her best, but honestly, in any other hotel such as the Mandarin Oriental, Peninsula, etc., a manager would have come out a long time ago. That in itself was no big deal. However, when we got to our hotel room, it reeked of cigarette smoke, only vaguely disguised by their signature scent. We called down to the front desk to complain, but rather than move us to another room, they sent up a man with a tiny little ozone generator. Of course, ozone is very harmful to the health and can damage clothing, so we had to gather anything sensitive and leave the room as it was ozonated. That was the first inconvenience, and a big one given that they had to have the guests leave the room. At that point even a 3-star hotel would have apologized and moved us immediately, but not here. So we decided to go and explore a little, even though it was getting late and we were tired. When we came back, the stench was still there; not surprisingly given the toy ozone generator used. Now I was dead tired and had some wine, and had counted on taking a shower and going to bed. But instead, I had to wait for someone to deal with the issue. About half an hour later I was finally moved to the new room, which was identical to the old room, but a mirror image. But our luggage did not come for another half an hour. By this time, with the wine and jet-lag, I was barely able to move and had to take a rest on my bed. I woke up in the middle of the night wearing my shoes, shirt, and with my contact lenses glued to my eyeballs. After a shower I now have insomnia. This is all directly due to Shangri-La: Even a much cheaper hotel would never have placed a guest inside a room with a stench of smoke. If they made that oversight, they would never have inconvenienced the guest more than once by switching a room, and would certainly never leave the guests on the street while they tinkered, probably knowing full well that their quick-fix with their toy instrument would not work. For a $1000+/night hotel, this is really just unacceptable. Of course, the feather in the cap was that they offered triple-points if you booked through their app, but it did not work. So we booked by phone instead. When we got there, I informed them to let them know to link up the stay with the points, but of course, they forgot. It's not like I'm going to go to the front desk now to ask them to give me some points. Again, no big deal, but definitely just enough problems and avoidable mistakes that no matter how polite they are, and no matter how long and low they bow at you, where it counts, the service is poor. Definitely disappointing for a 5 star hotel costing over $1000 for a regular room per night! I'll be here for another couple of days, so I'll see if things improve from here, but to be frank, this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth (and nose... I can still smell the cigarette stench- yuck!).
google avatar

Sylvia C.

Yelp
It's all in the details. What makes this place so great is that it had the standards of a 5 star hotel plus more! The rooms are very large, even by Western standard with all the items you could ever want. It is nicely decorated and beds are super comfy. You rarely see the cleaners in the hallway (and they don't push the cleaning carts) but they are around. They sneak in to do a turn down service. The rooms are very quite despite the hotel being full my booked. The noise insulation is great. I don't hear people walking or talking in the hallway or the elevators despite my room being located very close to the elevators. The details kick this hotel up a notch - the hair dryer is already plugged in. Electrical outlets are right by the night stand. The light switch controlling all the lights are by the bed as well. Window coverings open and close with a push of s button. Phone screen and dial pad automatically light with with motion. There is a TV conveniently next to bathroom vanity. I have stayed in many hotels and this is the most comfortable one I've stayed. It is nice with no initial wow factor but when you really think about your stay, it is very comfortable and understated.
google avatar

Brian R.

Yelp
Highly recommend. One of the most beautifully ornamented hotels I've seen. Rooms are tastefully done. The elevators are perfumed, but it's a pleasant smell. The only awkward thing is that whenever staff escort you to an elevator, or whenever they see you in an elevator, they deeply bow to you as the doors are closing. I know that it's a sign of respect, but I never got used to it. The concierge is very helpful - we communicated with the concierge for restaurant reservations months before our arrival. When a restaurant was booked, the concierge would call back to try again, and was nearly always successful eventually in getting the reservation we wanted.

Yelp
I have wanted to stay at this hotel since it opened in 2009 and it's been on my wish list. The wait was finally over! One word, "Opulent"! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Shangri la in Tokyo, our second hotel during our stay in Japan. No details were spared. This is my #1 choice, please stay here if you can. Of course, it's a bit of a splurge but if you plan ahead you will be able to experience all the spoils from here for a good deal. I could explain all the details that took my breath away though I think the pictures and description will speak for itself. Things to know: Located inside the Marunochi building with its own entrance. The lobby is located on the 28th floor. A separate elevator on that floor will take you to your room. Accessible and next to Tokyo Station - Main station for JR and metro. The view may not be as stellar as Prince Park Tower or Ritz at Tokyo Midtown but still very nice. You get to see Sky Tree and Tokyo Bay. Two restaurants are available at the hotel and many surrounding the building and at Tokyo Station Tokyo Station is my favorite station! So many food options and Daimaru department store is connected as well. Our room was the Deluxe room which I believe to be one of the lowest cost rooms and still pretty amazing. Wifi is included. 538 sq ft of luxury

Yelp
For most Americans, the Park Hyatt is the nicest hotel in Tokyo, made famous by the Bill Murray movie Lost in Translation. We loved the Park Hyatt, but also managed a short stay at the Shangri-La, which was every bit as nice. Wonderful staff, lovely room, everything first class. One of the best hotels in the world. You won't be disappointed here.

Chris A.

Yelp
Stayed here for a week in October. Undoubtedly one of the nicest hotels in Tokyo. Decent gym for a hotel, especially in Japan. Service is world class and the quality of room service food is exceptional.

Ben R.

Yelp
A rip-off. 2 hamburgers and a beer ended up costing about $130. I think each burger is $40 and they gave us a very hard time about customizing it. (By that I mean no BBQ sauce, for example. Just to have a simple burger was an issue) Then they add a tip (unheard of in Japan) and hotel service charge. REALLY AWFUL. I didn't want to ruin the meal with my grandson, but this isn't right.

Yelp
Very nice upscale hotel so close to the Tokyo station. Literally just across a small street. The staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean, luxurious, and large for Japan standards. The bathroom is the absolute best with the largest rainfall shower I've seen and the cool Japanese toilets but this one would also lift the seat up when you enter the room. The amenities are top of the line. There is a nestles coffee maker in the room, kimonos, pajamas, slippers, safe, small fridge but not much storage space because it is full of alcohol and snacks for sale, tea set, dryer, iron. The amenities included a comb, nice wooden hairbrush, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shavor, nice aerosolized shaving cream, lots of free bottles of water, bath sponges, and more. We didn't pack any amenities this trip knowing in Japan, most hotels will provide them. We wish we had tried their breakfast buffet but it was very pricey. The reviews for it was very good though. The indoor pool and spa was also very nice and rare for Japanese hotels. Nice quiet hotel. Definition of luxury. Great location. Would come again and highly recommend.

Yelp
The hands down absolute nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. I've stayed in the luxury collection hotels around the world. This hotel is just what five star is all about. My room is fully automated, internet is touch of the button, ever amenity is in room, robes, slippers, giant waterfall shower, French press for coffee, awesome heated toilet with butt cleaning at the press of button! Food is phenomenal! The bed is so plush with the perfect sheets , beddings. All lighting is on dimers . The bath is spectacular. It's the first room that I would rather stay in versus go out!

Yelp
Excellent hotel just a short walk from the Tokyo train station on the North side and convenient to shops and the financial district Rooms are excellent size, well appointed and very clean Peekaboo shower is a nice feature The lounge on the 28th floor is frenetic and today feat us marvelous piano playing while the views were taken in by me The breakfast buffet is 4 stars and a tad expensive - pastry selection was unparalleled Have been here 3x over the last few months - prefer this hotel vs a couple of others nearby that I have stayed at before on the other side of The Tokyo station Dry Cleaning was also a touch expensive - 10-25$ an item Other than Star Alliance vs Marriott or Starwoods points - not much else to dislike

Yelp
Best hotel in Tokyo by far! The Horizon Club Conceirge was the finest group I have ever seen. They know exactly who you are, what your schedule is and offer convenient ways to better your stay. They walked us to Tokyo Station and made sure we got the right tickets. Food was fantastic, rooms are immaculate and art is gorgeous. I highly recommend staying here!

Yelp
Bar none, the most extraordinary hospitality experience I have ever had. The devil - and pleasures - are in the details. Guest rooms are exquisitely appointed. The lap pool is a stunning and peaceful oasis for this rhythmic exercise. The only downside was that I only had three nights there and my work days were 12-14 hours. The high bar set for any other hotel experience.
