"ShareTea, a bubble tea chain from Taipei, Taiwan, is opening its first location in Austin at the Anderson Arbor shopping center, 13343 North Highway 183, Suite 275. The shop is expected to open in late spring or early summer. The menu features flavored teas, milk teas, and smoothies, which can be topped with tapioca pearls, jellies, puddings, and fruit. Many ingredients are imported from Taiwan, focusing on quality by avoiding syrups and using fresh fruit purees. Customers can customize ice levels, sweetness, and toppings. Franchise owner Christine Nieh, who has personal ties to ShareTea, aims to bring authentic Taiwanese bubble tea experiences to Austin. The chain, known for its high-quality tea drinks, has 500 stores in 18 countries, including locations in Dallas and Houston. ShareTea will not serve food but is located next to Ola Poke." - Erin Russell

This was fantastic. The two girls working were wonderful. Our associate was a shirt blond that was confident and helpful. Didn't catch her name but she was great. The menus on the counter was really helpful. Lots of options and I would gladly recommend this place to everyone.

Google
Superb. Love the Thai tea the most. Wintermelon milk tea is also pretty good. Service is really fast and drinks are well made. There’s board games and a nice seating area.

Bubble tea. So much fun. So yummy. Our drinks were delicious. The young lady that took our order helped us create our drink since we have only had bubble tea once before and we did not know what to order. I love that I got to choose my sweetness and other additions/ toppings. This is a nice clean little shop with some inside seating. Relaxed atmosphere. If I lived close by I would definitely come here often.

I recently visited Sharetea in Austin and had an amazing experience! I ordered the Thai Pearl Milk Tea and customized it by replacing the boba with lychee jelly and pudding, opting for 25% sweetness level and no ice. The drink was perfectly balanced - the reduced sweetness allowed the rich, authentic Thai tea flavor to shine through. The lychee jelly added a refreshing fruitiness, and the pudding gave a delightful creamy texture. This combination made for a delicious and satisfying treat. The staff was friendly and efficient, making sure my order was exactly as I requested. The ambiance of the store was welcoming and clean, a perfect spot to relax with friends or grab a quick drink on the go. Highly recommend trying this customized Thai Pearl Milk Tea or experimenting with your own unique combinations. Sharetea Austin did not disappoint!

This place is AWESOME!! I came to them with a big custom order for catering and they went above and beyond in every aspect. I can't thank Christine and her team enough for the hard work and thoughtfulness through every step of the process. Only wish I lived closer so I could order every day- YUM! Thank you!!

Google
So my favorite bubble tea place is finally in Austin. If y'all don't know this about me, I'm from Seattle and UW so Sharetea is a big deal there and deservingly so. When I finally heard about their grandparents opening in Austin on July 21 2018, I couldn't wait to try them out. Amazing as usual - same tea selection but they have newer iced drinks for the Austin heat. Great opening day, amazing and clean place. There was a bit of a line but the owner made it worth with samples and buy 1 get a free classic milk tea for free. The interior look upscale with great gadgets - the Dysons, Nest, iPads and all. Give them a try, it's located in the same complex as Main Events and the Golds Gym. Oh and at share tea, Hokkaido milk tea is my favorite and so is the classic. I usually go for 80% sweetness. 100% won't hurt either. Quick and courteous service.

Google
I ordered Mango and Passion Fruit tea with mini pearls and lychee jelly and mango and green milk tea with mini pearls. I liked the former better. Lychee jelly is super sweet so make sure u get 30% sugar or less else it would be too sweet to drink. This place has that delicious aroma and the staff is sweet and patient.

Mike Hoff

Google
Another solid Boba tea offering Tried their strawberry with lychee slushi, the lychee had a nice sweet flavor along with lychee jelly bits. The strawberry section was pretty tart, but if you mix in the lychee it balances out the tartness. To be fair, as a standard it comes with ice cream. I decided to exclude it because I had just eaten lunch, but that may have helped the tartness. My companion went with the standard milk tea. She really liked the tea and gave it enthusiastic approval. This is pretty much a hole in the wall no frills type of place in a generic strip mall, par for the course not a place to hang out. They have a nice variety of teas so it's worth a look if you're in the area.

Yelp
I wanted to take the time to write a positive review for Sharetea in regard to their catering service. As an homage to my Asian heritage, we really wanted to serve boba at our wedding. We were very pleased with how excellent they were at communicating with us. We corresponded with the owner, Christine. She was great at going through the options, reviewing our contract, and responding to every email from us in a timely manner. You have the option to have them do full-service, deliver, pick up, or even a DIY boba bar. We chose to have them deliver 120 boba teas to our venue. Sharetea even went out of their way to put our custom wedding stickers that we provided on each cup as a special request. On the big day, their team prepped all the boba tea, delivered everything on time as scheduled, arranged all the cups on the tables, and they even gifted two full size boba teas for us, the bride and groom! The tea arrived cold and refreshing; the ice was not melted and the tea was not diluted. We chose milk tea and mango passion fruit tea. Both flavors tasted great! The boba tea was a huge hit with our guests. I highly recommend that if you want to serve boba for your wedding or any other event, go through ShareTea.

Tiffany C.

Yelp
A reliable source for my boba cravings and convenient location. The drinks at this Sharetea are consistently good and they're made really fast. My go-to order is the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea (30% sugar because the toppings are sweet enough) and the Hawaii Fruit Tea with Aiyu Jelly (30% sugar if I need to feel "healthy") as I haven't found that exact taste at any other boba location/chain, though I highly suspect it's a pineapple jam of some sort mixed with a green tea base. This particular location is a bit small but still cozy and I see people hanging out on a date or studying here.

Vedette V.

Yelp
Your Yelper Girl here. Sharetea is consistently a solid place to get boba tea. This location didn't have the friendliest service and one worker started mopping before closing time. Not the safest thing to do!! One person in our party almost slipped. Lots of yummy choices to be had here!

Scarlett T.

Yelp
We love Sharetea! Owners are super nice and kind people. Service was great and establishment is clean. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. We got our favorite which is winter melon tea with boba and the honeydew milk tea. We love the boba pearls here because they have a sweet flavor and cooked to perfection for the perfect chew. It's not mushy and seriously is the best. You can control your drink option with no ice, less ice, or more ice and the sweetness level. I got the regular with no ice for the winter melon and it was perfect. Do I recommend this place? Yes! If you haven't tried Sharetea you must stop here to try their boba tea! One of the best in Austin!

Diana S.

Yelp
Sharetea is always a solid option for consistently good boba, and one of my go-to places in north Austin. I usually get the green milk tea with boba, 50% sweet. The boba is nice and chewy and the tea is good. The service here is excellent, they always welcome you when you come in and the drinks are made quickly.

Samantha F.

Yelp
I went for national boba day! The service was quick and easy and the boba shop itself is very cute. I liked the black pearl milk tea - it was a liiiittttle sweet and I wasn't given the opportunity to choose sweetness. I think there was a little more than necessary boba (I know I know get mad at me). The peach mango tea I got for my partner as they don't like coffee flavored things. Now, this may be because I did no ice as I had to transport it back home, but it was verrrrry thick. It kind of felt like drinking medicine texture, and again, was extremely sweet. All in all, it was good service & decent drinks :)

Briana N.

Yelp
A really solid and consistent place to get boba! It's never been that busy whenever I've gone so we've always been able to find a table and just chill. And I'm a big big fan of aiyu jelly so I'm so glad they have that as an option.

Joseph H.

Yelp
Unfortunately, another 3-star experience. I was in the area and needed to get some work done. Sharetea was conveniently located nearby and so I went. Ordered a ginger tea with pearls, no ice, and 30% sweetness. Took about 3 min for my drink to come out. The ginger flavor is present and the pearls have a good consistency. I always appreciate how Sharetea is generous with their pearl portions #fivelayers Their pearls today don't taste sweet; they almost taste bland. I usually order my drinks with 30% sweetness because I know the boba will add additional sugar to the tea. This wasn't the case today. Since boba is such a critical component to a bubble tea experience, consistency is key in delivering the same experience over and over. Hopefully they'll get it right next time...

Lisa O.

Yelp
I've been here at least half a dozen times, and it's consistently good. I always order the winter melon tea with boba. Even at 100% sweetness, it's not too sweet. The prices are more affordable than other boba tea shops as well.

Charli V.

Yelp
Sharetea use to be one of my favorite chain boba shops. I think this visit changed my mind entirely. The shop was nice and clean. The staff was informative and swift to make my order. My drink was good but this store had a protocol that I feel is nonsupportive of customizations. It just isn't accommodating. I stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon to share a treat with my daughter. I ordered a flavored milk tea, hoping to get tapioca on the side because I don't want my daughter drinking caffeine but to have some tapioca. The barista advise me she was going to have to charge me additional for the topping and the additional cup that the toppings will go in. It was off putting and seemed a bit calculative. I know it's not her fault cause they probably count cups and sales for logistics but this threw me off. I decided to have my boba in the drink and had to drink/spit the tapioca to share with my child. Nothing new but definitely inconvenient. With this area being saturated with boba shops, I'll have to support another business that is more accommodating of my drink style.

Chelsea L.

Yelp
I wanted the Okinawa milk tea but they didn't have it without pearls. Well, I could get it without pearls but I would pay the same price as with pearls. And the reason why I don't get pearls at Sharetea is because they put way too much! It takes up like half the drink. So I got the regular black milk tea. Without pearls and it's pretty good. Standard taste and keeps me up.

Tae K.

Yelp
Boba shops anywhere is a big debate. While I can't decide my favorite store I can guarantee Sharetea had the BEST grapefruit green tea. I will drive 20 minutes for this tea. It's bright, refreshing and the right balance of flavor. This is one of the places that allows you to pick your level of sweetness I get about less sweet (80%) but half sugar is just as good. The staff is very quick and kind!

Elissa S.

Yelp
A new favorite!! Stopped at this boba shop for some milk tea with pearls and peach tea with jelly, and both were delicious. The person behind the counter was extremely nice and the tea was delightful, even with half sweetness. I like that you can order less ice too (so you get more tea!). Will have to revisit for more flavors.

CT D.

Yelp
Overcooked tea, they don't know how to make the most basic drink , the tea is always bitter, burnt. sigh. How?

Susan C.

Yelp
Drinks for the gang as we were all a bit parched. We had the wintermelon lemonade with aloe vera, lychee jelly, the mango green tea with aiyu jelly and a classic black milk tea. I love that the drinks can be customized with less sugar and less ice. Everything was great...we were left happily slurping in the car onto the next errand.

Deborah G.

Yelp
The last 4-5 visits have been disappointing. In today's visit to pick up 1 drink, I walked in, smiled, said "picking up for Deborah". Barista puts 2 bags of drinks in front of me to which I say "that's not mine". Then she's says "Dianne and Deborah are pretty much the same name" and laughs. Like wtf???? Immature staff, unprofessional, no customer service. This is sad because I used to love it here.

Ravneet G.

Yelp
Immature staff. They forgot to add my boba , I drove back to the shop and they wanted to charge me 86cents for boba, for the mistake they made after I wasted my time driving back and forth to the shop. Will not be recommending this boba shop to my friends in Austin after the debacle they made over adding boba in my drink. I asked for a refund since they didn't want to honor adding boba and they refused to refund even though I didn't even drink the drink. So in summary I wasted my time buying a drink from immature staff.

Danny A.

Yelp
Very consistent and high quality boba shop - in the top tier around town. My kids love the wintermelon and strawbery and mango ices, while I love the honey oolong.

Sarah M.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times. I always get the strawberry ice cream with lychee jelly drink. It's been my favorite drink here. The inside is cute and the noise level really depends on how busy they are. The servers are nice and the drinks are pretty standard.

Thu T.

Yelp
Delicious milk tea spot with the best boba! Our favorites are oolong milk tea, black milk tea, ginger milk tea, ginger milk tea. You can really judge a milk tea shop by its boba - the boba here has perfectly chewy texture and they have been pretty consistent about it. They're also very generous with the boba as well - about 2-3 scoops for each cup, so a drink with boba can fill you up pretty quickly. Their fruit teas look and sound delicious too, but I haven't tried any. Definitely recommended!

Christina T.

Yelp
We really enjoyed the teas we got the fresh milk green tea and the mango passionfruit, the boba was a little hard. The cup was pretty sticky when they handed it to me I wish they would wipe it down.

Crystal J.

Yelp
Love this place! The workers are always so nice and welcoming. The drinks taste amazing. Mine and my daughters favorite

Katie B.

Yelp
Lovely service on a Friday afternoon (right when the after school rush hits them - bless them and their patience!). The menu is extensive and you can definitely veer off course (create your own, that is), but if you're confused or overwhelmed, just go with one of their signature creations and/or don't be shy in asking for help so you can enjoy a flavor profile that will truly speak to you. I opted for the milkshake version of my usual coffee boba drink and it was the equivalent of a frappuccino with boba (so I won't be ordering it often since my metabolism is not that of a high schooler), but I felt giddy drinking it! Wish the store was set up differently (so, best to order ahead of time and just pick up vs ordering there!) and there was a way to make the drinks more eco-friendly.

Sasha P.

Yelp
the worst cashiers in the world. I ask you to fire Christina. she doesn't know how to communicate with clients....

Ashley O.

Yelp
Okay drinks. All of ours felt like they were lacking flavor or that extra pop. There's definitely way better spots that have just hit Austin. I will say they do make their boba fresh every few hours! One plus on the location.

Arianna L.

Yelp
Maybe the day I came on was just a bad day but the register was broken and they were unable to take cash or print receipts. I felt as if they were understaffed and it took 30 minutes to get my order and the drinks were not filled all the way. -- The owner Christine was extremely kind to help me with my issue and I'll definitely be willing to return in the future.

Summer H.

Yelp
Workers that made the drinks were very disorganized and did not make the drinks in order, which caused some confusion when picking up drinks. The inside of the shop was very cute and they have games you can play while waiting!

Ashley C.

Yelp
Another boba place in Austin. Finally at the north instead of being down at the south. I've been to most of the boba places at Austin, and Sharetea is near the top in terms of my favorites. I usually order the honey milk tea at 30% sweet. Without cutting sugar everything is really sweet so beware. You get the biggest bang for your buck since their cups are huge. At $5 for a large quantity of drink and boba, the drinks here are totally worth it. The place is clean, and the customer service is decent. I definitely recommend this boba lovers in Austin.

Quyen B.

Yelp
Another day, another boba cafe opens in Austin. What the heck is going on?!! This one is average, just trendy for the "foodies" to insta. When you order, they don't ask what size you want, they give you the standard which is huge! I didn't even know they have a smaller size. A green milk tea with boba, close to $5. Regular sweetness is really sweet even though I haven't ordered a drink regular. I asked for half sweet on both occasions and it was a tad sweet so that's how I know regular would be undrinkable. I got my friend a Hawaiian tea at 80% sugar and she could barely drink it. I tasted it and was done after the first sip. Perhaps they just need to lower the sugar overall. Located next to the Melting Pot restaurant near Main Event. No issues with parking. If you come here with a big group, good luck with seating.

Leila L.

Yelp
I normally go to Sharetea in Houston so I'm happy one opened up here in Austin. It is a little more north than I'd prefer so I don't think I would go here often. However a friend and I went for their grand opening to check it out. The line was super long, but the orders came out sooner after putting them in. There wasn't too much space inside which I was surprised about. There's a pretty wall mural on the inside and about 3 community tables. I think I saw a couple tables along the other side but it was hard to tell because the line wrapped to the outside. Service was nice and the drinks were made well. I'm happy to find another place in town that has matcha green tea with red bean fillers!

Dane S.

Yelp
5/17/19: As usual, the aroma of the fresh brewed tea is so inviting. Service is great and fast. The drinks are amazing. I visited Sharetea on their third day of business. Place was hopping. Google map was not 100% accurate on the location but I found it anyway. Should be easy to find because if the crowd of customers. It is located between Ola Poke and the Melting Pot. First of all, the smell is amazingly fragrant with the rich odor of freshly brewed teas. Large menu of brewed teas, fruit teas, fresh milks, milk teas, creams, and ice blended drinks. I had the Taro Ice Blended With Pudding. Crazy good. My daughter had the Ginger Milk Tea with Pearl. Excellent flavors. Back for a second visit already. Staff is very friendly and informative. Sometimes thave samples. Sharetea is definitely on "My Keeper List".

Anita W.

Yelp
Craving boba yet again. this time i got my usual, Classic black milk tea with boba and a mango ice blended with red bean. THEY FORGOT THE RED BEANS in a drink with red beans! But I will give them some slack since 1. they're open on New Years and 2. There wasn't that many employees working. Good quality boba and can't love them enough for: 1. Being open on New Year's day 2. Being able to adjust ice and sweetness level 3. Quickness of staff in prepping drinks even though there were only 2 people working (or so I could see) WILL come here again Thanks for working on New Years!!!

Wendy Q.

Yelp
We wanted to try it out as it came up as a new business on our search. I loved the place and ambience, seems really good to share a cup of bubble tea with your loved one, a friend, in a quiet but with good music with a decent volume kinda vibe. I wouldn't recommend it for large groups and definitely ask for the specials!

Vanessa S.

Yelp
Cute location, limited space. Can get pretty busy so order ahead if possible. The frozen drinks looks like a desert I'll be ordering in the future!

Sonal G.

Yelp
A cute, small, clean Sharetea location that holds up to standards. During COVID, they are having you order online and pick up at the table outside which is a really good system as the inside area is quite small and is closed for sitting, as it should be. They wear gloves and masks and seem to be taking good precautions. I've been there before COVID as well and the sitting area is cute with a super aesthetic wall for photos! I got a mango green tea for my mom and a hokkaido milk tea for myself. One thing I always love about sharetea is that their grass jelly is always really smooth and soft, as this is my topping of choice. The boba is also cooked well and all the drinks have a great fresh flavor. I've had better of both these drinks at other places, but regardless, still very good. Notably, they are not accepting punch cards currently. I was so close to a free drink!

Felicia N.

Yelp
I came here a few days ago and ordered 2 Happy Family and TOLD THEM PLEASE NO BEANS AND THEY added beans to both. So I had to throw it away. So I came back today and reorder and trying them again ..they made it correctly. My little girl needed to use the restroom but they had a sign that said no restroom and directed us to go next door and when we came in the guy was pretty upset and said "sharetea has a bathroom why do they keep sending client to our bathroom" So if they direct u to next door..don't go bc u will be yelled at. I think if you are a paying customer..you should allow them to use the restroom.

amy k.

Yelp
They are severely understaffed and I waited over half an hour for my drinks on a weekday night. I'm very disappointed. Will avoid this place from now on. Not only that, they also gave me someone else's drink lol. And actually every single time I went the wait was super long. Avoid avoid avoid

Errol M.

Yelp
The first time I came here I thought it was pretty bad, but the last two times it's been pretty great. Maybe the key was specifying less ice, 30% sugar, and Black Milk Tea. These last two times I could actually taste the tea. I would have preferred just to edit my original review with a star bump and a brief explanatory header, but it appears Yelp has stopped letting you edit reviews after a month or so. Whatevs. So by golly, I'm doing this formal update because it's the right thing to do. If you're in this hood & feel the need for Boba, Sharetea yourself here.

Emely B.

Yelp
Great setup during COVID, you order online and can customize your drink however you want/ need (this maybe challenging when is your first time at buba tea, as there's no one to ask what the things are, but Google always helps). You send a text upon arrival to their parking lot and they bring it out to you. For the drinks we got a iced strawberry blend with lychee jelly - very sweet but super refreshing and smooth, almost creamy. We also got a milk mango green tea with pearls. Great tea, good flavor and prefect for a fist time. I recommend getting it 0% sweet as the pearls and other ingredients already make it slightly sweet but the taste was great

Fox E.

Yelp
I'm gonna get fat cuz I always go to SHARETEA I wanna drink 5 every day without a CARETEA But I'd be 350 lbs, it isn't FAIRTEA Still my best feature would be my HAIRTEA Nevertheless that's a thought I can't BEARTEA I'd know my legs exist but I wouldn't know WHERETEA I'd start to wonder if they were still THERETEA Barbie would dump me, she doesn't want a teddy BEARTEA So I'd no longer get to photograph her mostly BARETEA Or posing in Sharetea with her legs crossed in the AIRTEA She does Laser Removal cause it's better than NAIRTEA She sometimes dates other girls but other boys RARELY She thinks that the 1% treat all of us UNFAIRLY She hates to cover body parts, and she does so BARELY She kicks rich men in the face with her heels, quite SEVERELY They pay her for the privilege and call her tooth FAIRY She says it's more fun than her days at Georgetown LIBRARY Or her Ivy league degree she got that wasn't NECESSARY HOU location was my first love, now they won't give a SPARETEA So I'm cheating with a new location, having an AFFAIRTEA And my new secret love is the shiny Austin SHARETEA! WHAT! If you get chased on your way in here, it's Scaretea. If you can't find it, it's Wheretea. If you're a Panda like Desiigner, go instead to Beartea. If you drop your drink before you taste it, you're at Unfairtea. If the tea haunts you in your dreams, it's Nightmaretea. And if you think my jokes suck, well, Idon'tcaretea. And so here you have the greatest Sharetea in the world. And I've been to so many of them and I've found some very good ones in Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Toronto and DC/NOVA, but the best one I've ever seen in the world is right here in Austin. It's just so f***ing good. Oh sorry, that's Sweartea. I don't know what it is but somehow, it tastes better than anywhere else. For example, the regular Pearl Milk Tea tastes better than every other location I've tried it at, and their amazing Whole Lemon Black Tea tastes more spectacular than anywhere else. And I love their pastries too. Oh wait, that's Eclairtea. They have everything right down and perfected despite only opening recently, and some of the nicest service imaginable. Not to mention, the owner is right there and she's really nice as well. And I love the European teenage girls that work here and take care of the 5 year old rich kids. Oh wait that's AuPairTea. A hundred percent on every level, firing on all proverbial cylinders (I'm not a car person but I drive fasterer and betterer than car people) (and grammerize betterer too), and a great place to hang out. Kind of small but then so is my opening. And if it's so good you pee yourself, you can buy replacement panties here. Oh wait that's Underweartea. If you only try one Sharetea, like, ever, I would recommend you try this one. At Sharetea the drinks are like crack And you'll keep on wanting to come back You'll spend all your money And get a big tummy Then go round saying "Baby Got Back" What to get: Okinawa Pearl Milk Tea (made with brown sugar) And: Classic Pearl Milk Tea - the more straightforward version, refreshing and perfect And: Whole Lemon Black Tea w/tapioca and less ice - if you love Lemon, this may be the best Lemon Boba drink on earth. So if you're a rock or a flower Or whether you're Bradley or Gaga Just put your best suits on And get down to Houston And try the Sharetea Okinawa Warning: lots of drinks are hyper sweet, you may wanna ask for less "sucre" (although they don't speak Spanish so you might be looked at weird and stuff) Now let's finish with some "CherTea" They say we're young and we drink tea We buy 10 then get the 11th free I guess that's so but it costs a lot But at least I'm sure of all the teas we got Babe... I got tea babe... I got tea babe... I got Whole Lemon and Okinawa... in the Spring I got summer specials... in that lightbulb thing And when I'm cold... you order it hot... After I drink mine... then I finish what you got... I got you to sip my tea I GOT YOU TO SHARE WITH ME! I got you to walk with me I GOT YOU TO DRIVE ME TO SHARETEA! I got you to kiss goodnight WHEN YOU DO, I'LL TASTE JUST RIGHT And why is it you taste so sweet? BECAUSE I JUST DRANK ALL THE SHARETEA! I got tea babe! I got tea babe!

Ling M.

Yelp
Their milk tea is legit. The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way is that I finally racked up enough drinks for a free one, but then their system changed. They didn't transfer the previous info. I have to start over :(

Annie Y.

Yelp
Just dropped by Sharetea officially for the first time. And full disclosure, I didn't have a great experience when I had a mini at a festival initially. But they really stepped up their game. Location wise, the store is really pleasing to be in, it's a little small but I can definitely see myself hanging out in there. Drinks are super good! There's so many different options to pick from and they're a good size. I really like their boba, it's not super chewy and not overly sweet. I got the Jasmine Green Milk Tea at 80% sweet and less ice along with a Taro Slush at regular seetings, both with tiny tapioca. Will definitely come back to try other drinks out. Staff is phenomenal, really welcoming.

Judy S.

Yelp
Went to their soft opening yesterday and it was everything I expected! Their bubbles are sweet and chewy, their teas are delicious (and you can lower the sweetness level, I would recommend half sweet for most drinks) and they have so many options. My friends and I studied there for about 6 hours yesterday and it was a good time. They were getting pictures done so we got a few free drinks and toppings were free for soft opening! Their grand opening is July 21st so try and go before then, because it was already really crowded yesterday. Sad that they're not closer to central Austin but it's worth the 20 minute drive.

Esther S.

Yelp
The workers here are always patient and quick with their service! I've visited several times and every time, they answered any questions about beverages with detail and were knowledgeable. The bobas are always fresh, chewy, and sweet! Of the boba tea places I've been, this place is by far the best in terms of service and quality of boba and beverage!

Samuel C.

Yelp
There are reputable Bubble Tea lovers who adore this place ... So my experience may be atypical. But I had to throw my drink away. I had one of their featured beverages, the chocolate creama. This is featured front and center on a poster they place outside the front door. This is bubble tea with a homemade mix of cream cheese, cheese and sea salt on top. I love all of those ingredients, and hey, chocolate is chocolate. The drink had a strong unpleasant vegetable taste. I honestly can't think of anything in a bubble tea that would taste like vegetable. Maybe something was wrong with the boba that day? But I struggled through three sips and then wrote the drink off as a loss. * * * On the plus side, they play first rate music here. They have fine taste in K-Pop. The Red Velvet on the sound system put me in a great mood. The Creama they were serving put me in a bad mood.

Yelp
Eh, just ok. I definitely can't say that we will be back. Even though we selected less sweet, the 80% they were WAY sweeter then other tea places. Also the texture of the pearls was odd and an unusual flavor. ‍

Yelp
This place is dangerous... I'm not the biggest fan of milk tea, and yet, I actually craved for milk tea after I stopped by here. If that's not high praise, I don't know what would be. I always try to benchmark boba places by trying the classic milk tea so that's what I got. I was blown away at how shockingly good the milk tea was. Maybe cause it was a little sweeter (or maybe it's my imagination) than other places. The milk tea also had a creaminess that I don't find in other places. Or maybe I've just had so many diet drinks and haven't had milk tea in so long that this tasted like a bit like heaven. I got to try the Hokkaido milk tea and that was pretty great. It kind of tasted like flan and toffee. Really delicious and unique.

Yelp
I've seen Sharetea around in my recent trips to Cali but have never stopped in to try their bubble tea. Although this place is quite a trip from my side of town, it was worth it! Similar to Kung Fu Tea, you pick your choice of drink and customize your ice and sweetness level to your liking. I ventured out to try an unusual flavor milk tea, the ginger milk tea. I ordered the tea 50% sweetened with regular ice. I thought the flavors was nice! You get a strong hint of ginger among the milk tea taste. My only complaint is at 50% sweetness, the drink was still high in sweetness. I would recommend this level or lower. This is probably my new favorite boba tea spot in town when it comes to milk tea. Their isn't a line that's unbearable and the staff is quick on making orders!

Yelp
(5.00) Sharetea is one of my 2 BEST boba shops I know and when I heard they were finally opening one in Austin, I was totally excited even though it's....20min away. FOOD// My go-to is Matcha GT Creama at 80% sweetness and regular ice. I love this because of matcha and creama. Normally, you have to sip from the cup, but I mix the drink and straw the drink. I love all kinds of creama drinks here, tbh, but make sure to get lower the sweetness! SERVICE// Im sure they're all or almost all high school students and college students, but they're fantastic! Thank you for working hard to bring me and other guests the quality drink possible! ATMOSPHERE// It's kind of small, but it's do-able. I like the mural idea of welcome to ATX with T being emphasis on tea. SURROUNDING// I think it's like a growing area?
