Where to Find Halal Food and Restaurants in San Diego | Eater San Diego

"Parked outside of the Bottle Shop liquor store in South Park, this food truck slings a shawarma wrap made from wagyu beef that’s a standout pick on a menu that also offers egg rolls, wings, and rice plates. It’s been named to many popular food lists, so do expect a wait." - Candice Woo

26 Best Restaurants in San Diego, from Taco Shops to Hotel Lounges | Condé Nast Traveler

"The owners of this food truck in the residential South Park neighborhood use Australian wagyu for the beef shawarma, which is marinated in spices overnight before it’s spit-roasted on site, and then sliced and wrapped in a grilled pita and topped with garlic paste, tahini, and pickles, or served on a plate with yellow rice and tabouli.  The line for the truck has been consistently long since they opened in early 2019 in the parking lot of a neighborhood liquor store. The marbled beef used for the shawarma prevents it from getting dried out when it’s cooked on the vertical rotisserie, keeping the meat juicy. Everything is made fresh daily, from the hummus to the garlic paste." - Marie Tutko, Archana Ram

Google
The best shawarma in San Diego! It's also recommended by YouTube as the top spot here! The Wagyu beef is absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, tender and juicy! If you want to try Mediterranean food, this place is an absolute must-visit!

Google
It was our first time here and Janelle was a lively. Her conviction was so high for the Fries Lemon Cream Chop that we had to get it. The fries were perfectly seasoned and the white meat chicken battered was on point. Also got the Wagyu beef wrap, it was also on 🤌 P.s get the gravy of the fries on the side.

Google
I got the vegan shwarma which id definitely get again, but didnt taste any of the garlic paste or pickles in my pita ($16) I liked how crispy and flavorful the fake meat was as well. Wish there was one picnic table but since its takeout only, walked over to the dog park

Google
Great wraps super massive, pickle made it POP! Very satisfied for being my 1st time. Worth the money and food quality was full of fresh flavor.

Google
One of the best places to get shawarma in San Diego! Both beef and chicken are tender, juicy and well seasoned. Fries and rice are outstanding. The shawarma plate also comes with creamy hummus that tastes homemade, and a side of fresh tabbouleh. Definitely recommend 😋😋😋

Google
Seen shawarma on a YouTube channel so I had to go investigate and it didn’t disappoint. I love Mediterranean food as is , but shawarma is on another level of flavorful goodness. The wagyu eggrolls are small but packed with flavor . My husband was disappointed that he didn’t get more. I got the chicken Greek burrito. The price we paid for 2 people was very reasonable we will be going back.

Google
Had to visit and see what all the hype was about. Ordered the Wagyu Beef Egg Rolls, plate and pita along with Falafel pita. Everything was super tasty and service was friendly and quick. To be honest though, the Wagyu beef tasted like regular beef....but still good none the less. Although they dont sell drinks, they're conveniently located beside a liquor store that also sells non alcoholic drinks. Enjoy.

Google
It was good and I am glad we tried it but I do think it's is a little overhyped and pretty spendy. We watched a lot of YouTube videos saying it was the greatest and they say they are #1 restaurant in the country on yelp... We got the Wagyu Schwarma plate and Wagyu egg rolls. Both good but nothing out of this world. The hummus was pretty dang good though. I did want to try the lemon chop fries I just didn't have anymore room in my stomach lol. Heard those were tasty. If you're near there and looking for a quick place to eat, it's worth a try.

Yelp
This is embarrassing since it might as well be two years later but the only reason I am writing a review now is because I forgot the name of this place But last year me and my mum got food from this truck! I think I got the wagyu beef plate while my mum got the wagyu beef wrap and it was good I have been wanting to go back to try their other options. One day.
google avatar

Yelp
We got the half beef and half chicken plate to try. Trust me when I say--stick with the beef. The chicken was good too, but it wasn't as tender or flavorful as the beef. I'd definitely come back again. There's so much flavor, and everything pairs really well together. I especially enjoyed the green mixture they served on the side--it had cilantro, onion, and tomato (I think?). It was citrusy and added the perfect fresh crunch to the rice and beef. We also got the falafel, but that was a miss. It was dry, hard, and lacking in flavor. We couldn't even finish it. I'd skip that one.
google avatar

Jonathan S.

Yelp
Not sure why there are so many good reviews of this place... this is an extremely mediocre shawarma place that you could find anywhere around San Diego. The food is completely marinated in garlic so that it is the only flavor you can taste. The pita I had was stale and clearly store bought as well. The portions are extremely small as I probably got less than 1/16th pound of chicken in my plate. Had to go home and make more food because I was still starving after this. For a pricy $22 dollars for a meal you would expect a little better. Will not be returning and recommend going elsewhere!
google avatar

Melissa L.

Yelp
I've been to the Mira Mesa location and I loved! But this food truck location... questionable, especially for the og... me and my friend got the beef and chicken plate, and the chicken plate AND WE BOTH FELT NAUSEOUS AND STOMACH ACHE IMMEDIATELY AFTER ! Really disappointed. + you can tell from the picture. I barely pushed the food around and there's ZERO rice ??? For $19 not worth for the amount or the sickness.
google avatar

Elaine G.

Yelp
My favorite shawarma spot in San Diego. We always get the wagyu beef and chicken shawarma combo. Portions are large, easily making 2 meals for myself. Both meats are good, but if you're debating between the two I'd choose the beef. I'm not too much of a hummus person, only when I get this plate as it's fresh and smooth. Staff is always friendly. It can take a bit of time for your food if it's busy but it's worth the wait.

Yelp
Talked with the manager, got a single falafel with garlic . It was wonderful! The best I've had since I left Philadelphia. I have the app and plan to use it! The prices are very reasonable for what you are getting; which is the best by far, cooked in the most proper manner and all great. Thank you for a taste of real MidEast cooking - love it. Gigi

Yelp
Best food truck in South Park! I ordered the chicken cream chop which hit the spot after a long workday. The chicken was tender moist and topped with a delicious garlic sauce. The rice was fluffy and the hummus was creamy. Service was quick. No seating, but it was no problem since I live nearby.
google avatar

Aurelia S.

Yelp
Shawarma guys is right by to my house. They have the best customer service and delicious dishes. They're quick with their food and who doesn't love to hang out in South Park!!!

Yelp
Mediterranean food is easily one of my top 5 cuisines. I wasn't sure what to expect from a food truck, so I've passed on this place a few times. Finally gave them a shot. The wagyu beef shawarma? Flavor bomb. Tender, juicy, melt in your mouth beef that made me experience a moment of euphoria. The hummus? Creamy, silky, so good and so smooth it felt like it was hitting on me :) Now let's not forget about the Wagyu beef shawarma egg rolls? These little bundles of fried goodness slapped harder than an Asian mom on report card day. Service is quick, portions are decent, and everything tastes freshly made. Shawarma guys will be on my repeat list. Give them a go and see for yourself. Welp! Onto the next!
google avatar

Yelp
just realized I don't have a single picture from this place even though I've been here so many times. it ALWAYS hits the spot! last week I tried the beef wagyu pita for the first time and it was so good - not too heavy on the sauce which is perfect and the beef was super tender. the fries have tons of flavor and the texture is spot on. truly think they deserve the yelp recognition, and happy to see them expand. hopefully the quality stays the same :)
google avatar

Yelp
I'm giving this place a 4.1. It was not the best I've had but pretty good. I tried a combo chicken & beef shawarma plate. The meats were great but I enjoyed the tabouli salad and the lemon garlic paste the most. Oh, and the hot sauce. I really enjoyed the hot sauce.

Yelp
Tucked behind the Bottle House liquor store, this spot is easy to miss, but totally worth seeking out. I found it thanks to Yelp and was surprised to learn Guy Fieri had been here! I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Wrap and Lemon Cream Chicken Fries. Both were absolutely delicious. The chicken was juicy, the wrap was crisp, and the fries were seasoned perfectly with tender, katsu-style breaded chicken. I just wish there was more of that tangy lemon garlic cream sauce. Fun tip: don't skip the garlic and chili sauces. The chili sauce is tangy, slightly spicy, and refreshing. Service was fast (only a 5-minute wait), but note that parking is tight and there are only two tables so most people grab takeout. I was lucky to snag a seat and eat on the spot. I plan to come back for the wagyu shawarma wrap, lemon garlic wings, and shawarma eggrolls next time! Food: 10/10 fresh, hot, juicy, and delicious Customer Service: 7/10 it's a food truck so it's fast and efficient Parking: 5/10 street parking mainly, only two parking spots available in front of the liquor store.

Yelp
I was really looking forward to trying this food spot, but my experience was that it was overly hyped. I got the chicken and beef shawarma plate for about $20 and it really didn't have a huge portion of meats. I felt the meat was a bit dry and could've used more sauce. There was a small drizzle of the garlic sauce on top of the meat. The tabouleh and rice were ok. Hummus was average, but the sides of pita were extremely dry and not even warm (although they were served in foil). My husband got the beef shawarma pita and also said it was just average. I liked the falafel, but overall I was disappointed in my dining experience. Note they do not have any seating and are located in a liquor store parking lot. They have two small bar type tables to stand at, but those were taken on a Friday evening. We waiting about 10 minutes for our food after ordering without there being a line. The menu also differed from what was on their website, so note they didn't have any bowls (on plate entrees) on the menu in person. There are other Mediterranean spots I prefer over visiting here again.

Yelp
I said I would so I did! I went back to Shawarma guys today and told them what happened. No problem at all they comped another Shawarma plate for me and it was heavenly!!! Kudos to them for their customer service and kudos to the chef who served me the most delicious meal that I know they were capable of. I'd give them 10 stars now if I could!

Yelp
Our first time trying Shawarma Guys, we went to the new Mira Mesa location that just opened up. Unfortunately, we did not have the best experience there with the taste of food. After the owner had reached out to recomp our meal, we decided to try out the original food truck location and give it another try! * Wagyu Beef & Chicken Shawarma Plate - 8/10 (this time around, the beef shawarma was actually really good. it was flavorful & juicy. this was a pleasant surprise & was what we were expecting the beef to taste like the first time around. the chicken however, was still on the dry side. the hummus was very yummy. it was light but also packed a nice punch & went really well with the shawarma. the tabouli was very fresh & added a nice little kick. the pita was dry & cold. overall, this was better than our previous experience, but would not come back for the plate) * Wagyu Beef Shawarma Egg Rolls - 9.5/10 (this was fried to perfection with the perfect crunch on the outside. the beef was soooo juicy & packed great flavor. the white sauce was perfect to cut through the oiliness. would come back again just for these!)

Yelp
This place is a must try whenever I'm in SD. Those Waygu Beef Shawarma Egg Rolls need to be in a museum somewhere. The Shawarma Fries are on point as well.

Yelp
About two weeks ago, we were driving around the Golden Hill area when I remembered seeing a YouTuber try this place. I can't recall who it was, but since we were nearby (and it was way past lunchtime), we decided to give it a go! We pulled up to a food truck with Guy Fieri's face on it--that definitely caught our attention. A young woman took our order; she was friendly and efficient, and we didn't wait long at all. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma Plate, the Chicken Shawarma Wrap, and a Baklava to share. I actually started with the Baklava (I couldn't resist!)--it looked like it was filled with pistachios and had a light green tint. It was absolutely delicious! I'm a huge Baklava fan, so it was already a winner in my book. I ended up eating both pieces before our main dishes were even ready. We took our meals to go, and the aroma in the car was heavenly. You could tell the chicken was seasoned perfectly. Chicken Shawarma Plate: Generous portions of tender chicken and flavorful yellow rice, paired with a fresh, tangy tabouli salad (so herby and refreshing!) and silky-smooth hummus that wasn't heavy at all. The soft, fresh pita rounded out the meal beautifully. Chicken Shawarma Wrap: This was my first time trying a shawarma wrap, and I was surprised by the amount of pickles inside. I love pickles, but they were a bit overpowering for me--though my husband really enjoyed it. I personally would have preferred some romaine lettuce for added crunch, especially since the fries inside were a little soggy. It just needed another textural element. Overall, we were very satisfied with our meal and will definitely be back--next time, we're trying the Wagyu Shawarma!

Yelp
Huge portions, falafel is a great deal here but could have used a little more tahini sauce. Or get some hummus or tzatziki sauce to help it along. Pita bread with my platter was the only disappointment, seemed dried out or old. One of the two. Also had a Chicken wrap which was done well. If I came back, I'd order the falafel for sure.
google avatar

Sara K.

Yelp
Didn't realize that this place was NOT a restaurant (the pictures on yelp show a nonexistent restaurant), but instead it is a food truck. No problem, wanted to sit down to eat, my fault for not reading the fine print. We got the waygu shawarma and the chicken pita wrap, as well as some lemon something loaded fries. We didn't end up eating it until about a half hour later bc we had walked over there from our airbnb. The fries were just okay. Very dry even with the sauce/gravy on them. The wraps were VERY sad looking. The pita was dry and crackly and there was maaaaaybe like 1/4 of a cup of bland shredded chicken in my wrap, no obvious garlic sauce or hummus, one raw slice of tomato, raw red onions, and some gross soggy pickles. I won't go back and I honestly wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
I paid $17 for some rice and a little bit of shawarma beef. The food tastes good but the portion size is below average. I was still hungry after finishing my meal. Wait time is usually pretty fast despite a lot of people standing around waiting for their orders.

Madhav N.

Yelp
Ordered the California wrap and the Wagyu egg rolls. The wrap was mediocre at best, no sauce in the wrap, tons of lettuce that wilts. Dizzy bird is much better. The egg rolls were absolutely amazing though.
google avatar

Gabriela E.

Yelp
Big portions! Quick service and so tasty, but on the pricier side. We ordered the fries with chicken, and the beef shawarma plate and dolmas. Fries were our favorite with good sauces and the wagyu beef was very flavorful.
google avatar

Emily W.

Yelp
There's a reason this place is so well known! The fatoush wrap is perfect for a day at the beach, so good! Glad this gem is around the corner from my home. Thank you guys!
google avatar

Nataly A.

Yelp
Ordered the Greek side salad and 2 chicken plates. The rice was soft and flavorful, chicken tender and full of spice, the hummus is smooth and the Tabbouleh was fresh and lemony. Absolutely loved it, however for the portion sizes are small considering the price. ~$20 is a lot. Wish the platter was more full. But the flavor is there.
google avatar

Melissa L.

Yelp
This place is so good!! Someone told me to come here and it was definitely worth it!! They park in a parking lot of a liquor store and you order and wait for your food out of a food truck. Everything was pretty tasty. I got the combo which is a beef and lamb meat with chicken as well. The only thing I wish I got more of the garlic sauce because it was so good and I didn't have enough to spread over the entire dish. The hummus and tabouli were great to select as sides. Everything was very flavorful and I'll definitely come back when I'm in the San Diego area !
google avatar

Anthony D.

Yelp
Very excited to finally try Shawarma Guys and got a variety of things to try. Service was friendly and it took about 10 minutes for our food to be ready. The Wagyu Beef & Chicken Shawarma plate was packed with flavor. The wagyu beef was the highlight. Very very tender. The chicken on the other-hand was a bit dry. I was hoping that both meats would actually be more juicy and moist, but between the two I definitely recommend the beef. The hummus and tabouli sides were also nice accompaniments. I also do think they need to give extra garlic sauce on top or on the side since by the end, it does get a bit more dry. We also got the Greek Wrap and substituted falafel as the protein. This wrap was HUGE and the falafel was really really good. I think this wrap was actually better than the plate. Next time I'd definitely get a wrap or pita to see how those are. The Lemon Cream Chop Fries were also a generous portion. I liked the lemony flavor overall but I felt overall the fries were just okay. It's not that creamy and so the fries end up being more dry and I found myself needing to sip water after every bite. A little more moisture in the form of cream or something else would help a lot.
google avatar

Brianne C.

Yelp
Not my first rodeo at Shawarma Guys, but it is the first time I've been back since I started Yelp. And luckily I think I found the menu item I've been waiting for: Greek Wrap sub chicken for falafel. (The 5stars is based on this wrap alone) Wow wow. It was huge! So juicy from all the sauces. The falafel was moist! It lasted me two meals it was so big. Now I know to go into it with someone to share it with since it's best fresh. My partner ordered the wagyu and chicken plate and the lemon chip fries (to share, but I was too full to try too much). The chicken on top was good, but the fries were a little lacking in flavor and texture. It only takes us 5 ish minutes to get home so maybe we have to eat the fries right next to the truck next time. But the star of the show is that wrap and it deserves to be seen!
google avatar

Jacquelyn F.

Yelp
Finally checked this food truck off my must try list and it didn't disappoint! Ambience: This is definitely more of a grab and go spot. There are only a couple of high top tables, so I'd recommend ordering ahead and picking up your food. Parking can be a bit tricky, but the truck is conveniently located in a lot shared with a convenience store where you can grab a drink since they don't sell beverages themselves. Service: There was a small line when we arrived, but ordering was quick and straightforward. The food took a little time to come out but nothing unreasonable. Food: Let's get to the good part, the food. First up was the egg roll, which was stuffed with wagyu beef and absolutely packed with flavor. The sauce paired perfectly with the rich meat. I also tried the wings and they were super flavorful and well seasoned. The plate came with rice, hummus, and tabouli, all incredibly fresh and well balanced. You can really taste the quality in each bite. Overall: Yes, it's a bit on the pricey side but you're getting wagyu beef and generous portions so it feels worth it. I will definitely be back to try a wrap or pita sometime soon.
google avatar

Gabe S.

Yelp
Honestly very underwhelming compared to the reviews that brought me here. I had been wanting to try this place for a long time. The ordering process was fine and the wait wasn't too long. I ordered the beef & chicken shawarma plate, a fattoush wrap, and a side of fries. The fries were subpar, warm but not hot, nothing special. The wrap had way too much lemon juice that was overpowering and really the only thing I could taste. The best part of the plate was the hummus, but the rest wasn't anything special and I didn't end up finishing it. Not worth $40, no plans to return.
google avatar

Yelp
Came on a lucky Saturday and no lines! I lived west Asia for years so I had really high hopes for this place and expected nothing but the best but honestly I was let down. Was the food good? YES, it good but not great or something astronomical. The meat was pretty dry and salty and everything just didn't mash well. Service was really fast nevertheless

Sam E.

Yelp
I would say the beef Shawarma is 8.2 out of 10 and the chicken Shawarma with Fatush salad 7.1 out of 10 the salad was really fresh but lettuce just got soggy immediately with with the heat in the wrap. Service is absolutely 10 out of 10 the girl at the front counter. I'm not sure her name was absolutely amazing. This is a way business needs to be run. When I first walked up she greeted me very nice. I'm a little difficult when I make my order as well and she took her time to explain the menu to me. Secondly, they got my order wrong three times and she ended up giving me a refund on the third time absolutely amazing service I would definitely come back just cause the way I was treated. I own my own service company and this is the way I treat my customers and I expect to be treated absolutely amazing Service. Period!!! Ambience is pretty good. No it is a food truck but don't expect too much. If I were to rate this place based on its food along it before at a five stars, but the service is five stars so definitely come and try it.
google avatar

Kristian T.

Yelp
It's rare that in one bite I am held speechless but this was the case. The Greek wrap was a full salad with chicken in a tortilla, the flavor was perfect. I also had the beef eggrolls but they were so rich I was afraid I wouldn't be able to eat all four. I found the solution and opened up the wrap and added three egg rolls and rewrapped it. The combination was amazing!
google avatar

Why-Tie Z.

Yelp
Came here due to the yelp top100 hype. As much as I would love to give a better review or rating. I can't. For $21 the plate I found the chicken and beef not juicy and tasty enough. I was a bit disappointed about the meal.

Yelp
This was our first stop on our week long trip here in San Diego. When we arrived there was a healthy line and wait especially with how many mobile/online orders the staff & kitchen were working on. We decided to go with a wagyu beef & chicken shawarma plate, as well a side of fries. The wait was reasonable given how busy it was. The star of the show was the hummus, without a doubt. Immaculate texture, flavor, and taste. The meats were good, not great. The rice was better in our opinion. The French fries were hot crispy and fresh. It also came with a side of pita which was lovely to pick up some meat/hummus/tabouleh. There were additional containers of a sweet/spicy sauce which was also phenomenal. The garlic sauce/toum on top of the meats was also really good. This truck does all of the accoutrements exceptionally. It is worth to note this is a food truck on the side of a corner market/liquor store. There are no chairs, but a couple of standing tables to sit and enjoy your food. The staff were friendly and provided good service. Overall, I would recommend stopping here and giving it a shot!

Emily G.

Yelp
Had a wonderful experience at Shawarma Guys food truck today. My dad had a lot of questions since he was unfamiliar with the menu. The young lady in the picture (sorry I don't remember your name). Was the sweetest and helping us and answering all of our questions. The food here was bomb! My dad did the beef plate and it was super killer.
google avatar

Nishtha C.

Yelp
Went to this place with very high hopes. The chicken shawarma pita and falafel pita along with baklava. None of these items were very good compared to shawarma we have tried around the country. The baklava was very dry and not flaky.
google avatar

Tracy S.

Yelp
This is quality recipes with quality ingredients - it works! Tender beef, seasoned chicken, fresh produce, freshly baked bread. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. That let me substitute the fattoush salad for the rice and it is EXCELLENT! The shawarma fries are delicious! The potatoes soak up the juices from the meat and are crave-able good ! Highly recommend these!

Yelp
We ordered 2 Pita Shawarmas and one Chicken Shawarma fries. One Pita Shawarma was the Wagyu Beef and the other was the Chicken Shawarma. The Wagyu was dry, overcooked and the only flavor we experienced was Cumin. Perhaps this Wagyu beef had sat in a warmer for a very long time after having been cooked, and then reheated causing it to be even worse, before placing it into the pita and served. For Wagyu, a beef with a high fat ratio to be dry, means that it had sat cooked for a very long time, and then over cooked by reheating it prior to serving. It was overly flavored with Cumin, a spice that I love, but in this case the amount overwhelmed the delicacy of the Wagyu, providing no taste other than the texture of dry overcooked meat and that of Cumin. The chicken was even worse. It was so overcooked and dry, that it actually had both a chewy and crumbling texture at the same time, in various parts of a bite, and had little to no taste other than that of sulfur that comes from either low quality chicken and/or overcooking same. It was so dry that we couldn't even finish eating the first half of it. Therefore, both of our Pita Shawarmas were terrible and less than edible, and certainly not anywhere near the quality or taste of the other raving reviews. Also, please note, we are middle-eastern and have eaten Shawarma, all of our lives. One positive note was the Chicken Shawarma fries. They had the same dry, over-cooked and crumbly chicken as a topping, but the fries themselves and the Toum sauce saved the day, helping hide the flaws and making it possible to consume the less-than-edible chicken, which without the fries and the Toum sauce, remained inedible. We placed our order at 2pm, and it appears that instead of receiving freshly slicked and cooked shawarma meats, we got the left over, dried out remnants of lunch. This isn't acceptable as we didn't buy "discounted" Shawarma, and we were expecting what other reviewers had experienced. Unfortunately, we would not recommend Shawarma Guys to anyone, let alone anyone that is middle-eastern and knows what Shawarma is relative to quality and taste. I understand the owner is proud of his food and business, and am confident this is not the quality he wishes to serve. But, nevertheless, our review is what we experienced -- to our great disappointment. We paid around $50, and that was a waste.

Yelp
I don't think comments are needed, but I'll make them anyway. That white sauce that they put on there shawarma is addictive. Once you try it you just want more. Highly recommend if you want some quality shawarma!

Aaron C.

Yelp
Everything was delicious. The wagyu plate was great, but the wagyu egg rolls were next level. The front counter staff was super patient and friendly during pickup. Will definitely be back.

Remy L.

Yelp
Amazing! Best vegan shawarma Mediterranean food I have had. Will be coming back as a regular. I got the vegan cream chopped chicken was so good. Today I tried the vegan Shawarma plate. It was just as good all good vegan options here.
google avatar

Doug S.

Yelp
Best shawarma ever! Guy Fieri, an American Treasure, was right again. Get yourself to this semi-permanent food truck and get a shawarma platter. I had chicken and wagyu beef. Perfect crisp, great sauces, can't wait to go back.

Teresa H.

Yelp
First time trying and definitely recommend! There are a few standing tables to eat. staff is friendly and food came out very quick! We ordered the chicken and beef plate and the beef plate, delicious. Generous portions! We'll be back to try the wraps!

Yelp
what we ordered | wagyu beef & chicken shawarma plate taste | good portion of meat. flavor was good. the veggie side and hummus was yummy as well. this had a drizzle of their garlic paste over the meat which gave the meat some additional flavor. service | server was nice parking | street notes | definitely check this out if you're in the south park area. they are a food truck close to grape street.

Yelp
Chicken shawarma plate was delicious. Service was great and friendly. Chicken is tasty, hummus is delicious. Didn't take too long for a Sunday midafternoon. My only con*** I feel like the chicken plate could have had more chicken. The chicken is cut so thinly. It's scattered over rice, but I felt like the amount wasn't enough for the price.

Yelp
Taste of Food was okay, I was not expecting the pita to be toasted so that caught me off guard & didn't care for it. Too many flies hanging out.

Yelp
Our go-to spot! I really appreciate that their vegetarian and vegan options feel intentional and well thought out. The vegan shawarma wrap is one of my favorites, and their spicy hummus is seriously delicious. Parking can be a bit tricky, but that's pretty standard for food truck spots. Totally worth it for the food.

Yelp
Tried the Wagyu Beef Shawarma Plate the other day. I had really high expectations due to the other reviews. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but not something I would often crave for. Wished they drizzled more of their signature garlic paste on the meat. Service was super quick. We got our order within 5 mins. If I were to return I would just take it back to my car and eat it in the car or take it home to eat. Total 3.5 stars.

Yelp
It's a food truck next to a liquor store, so thankfully there was ample parking. I came 30 minutes before closing and was able to get my food within 5 minutes, so no complaints! Service was quick, employees seem friendly, but unfortunate that there wasn't any space to sit and eat. Seems more like a to go place. We ordered the chicken and beef plate and it was delicious! I will need to ask for an extra side of the garlic sauce next time!
