This Korean BBQ restaurant offers good food at an affordable price, making it a great option for group dining. While the food meets expectations, the customer service could use some improvement. It's a decent place to enjoy a meal with friends. One downside is that the chairs are quite uncomfortable, which affects the overall dining experience.

I wanted to like this place, but the overall experience ruined it. The food itself was decent, but absolutely not worth the price given the level of service we received. From the moment my friend and I walked in, we felt like an inconvenience. There was no warm welcome, barely any communication, and the staff came across irritated anytime we interacted. When our food arrived, the waitress dumped the entire plate onto the grill instead of allowing us to place it ourselves. It felt rushed and unnecessarily aggressive. We sat for more than 10 minutes with nothing but unpleasant-tasting tap water and no one checked on us. No refills, no follow-up, nothing. What really sealed the deal was spotting a live roach in a napkin near our table while we were still eating. Instead of trying to improve the experience, the bill was dropped on the table mid-meal without a word. The only time anyone seemed polite was when we were leaving. Decent food can’t make up for poor service and cleanliness concerns. I won’t be back.

Shin Sung Korean BBQ is another great affordable Korean BBQ spot. The place is located close to the unfinished Federal Way train station. $29.99 for all you can eat is a steal deal, especially when it includes rice, vegetables, and even soup. The nice lady that was serving us was very nice, she always checked up on us and also kept the food coming. If I wasn't cooking and eating, she'd come by and cook and also check if everything was good and if we needed anything else. She made sure that our table was stocked up on all the delicious sides, rice, and meats. If you are in the Federal Way area give Shin Sung a try. This is my second time trying out the location and they have not let me or my friend down.

What a great find! If you’re looking for a good Korean Fried Chicken place? THIS IS IT! Good food, chill vibe, and good service. We ordered some other dishes than just fried chicken, and everything else tasted really good. My favorite was the creamy udon, it was smoky, creamy, and delicious. The corn cheese could be better, but overall the food was great!

Walked in and there were a couple of scattered tables here and there and no Korean people there. Oh oh I thought, but was visiting my in-laws from out of town and they suggested this place. No disrespect for Korean or non-Korean folks but the people that know their own food best is the people of that culture. We decided on the $120 set menu which included kalbi, seafood pancake, grilled mackerel, spicy pork, spicy squid, steamed egg, tofu soup and assorted banchan. Food quality was a C. Nothing to write home about. Asked for the check and noticed they tacked on 18% tip? They circled the total and tip(see pic). There were 4 of us so it wasn’t a big party and their service was average. Why 18%? On any other day and place I would have disputed the 18% tip but we just landed in Seattle and haven’t seen my in-laws since prior to Covid. Gave them my credit card, they came back with the receipt and I wrote 0 for tip. Upon leaving the waitress chased us out asking for a tip! What? You want a double tip? So we went back and forth until she relented, and said she made a mistake. How is that possible? It’s a set menu for $120, the total bill was almost $160. Do the math. Taxes are not $40. Take your money somewhere else for better food at a better price with better service.

This review is for Underground Kitchen, not Shin Sung restaurant-which is located next to the restaurant. We got to the restaurant around 4pm. They open at 2pm. It was the prefect time to go since the dinner rush hadn’t started. The restaurant is located on the bottom floor. So you do have to walk down a long flight of stairs. The restaurant is not a large space, and it’s a pretty dark ambiance inside. The wait staff is nice, but they can also get really busy. We had to wait awhile for someone to take our order and also our check. We ordered onion rings, spicy rice cake, chap chae, honey garlic chicken, spicy seafood udon stir fry. We were not disappointed. Food is good. We will be coming back. They do take out orders as well.

We got kimchi jeon and pork belly bokkeum, and both were absolutely delicious. The jeon was perfectly crispy on the outside and hot and fluffy on the inside. Portions are big. We barely ate anything before having to ask for to-go containers. Banchan was good; nothing necessarily outstanding. The restaurant was busy, but the staff was very kind, patient, quick, and efficient. We didn’t feel like we waited long at all for any part of our dining experience.

When you get there, you’ll have to walk down the stairs to get to the actual restaurant. When you walk in, you wait to be seated or can sign up on the clipboard to be sat as well. They play rnb music which gives me club vibes. That makes it so much fun enjoying their take on bar/street food. We got the cheese corn to start and this is literally my favorite appetizer. The corn is sweet but the cheese they use is super savory and it’s so good. We had that while we waited and decided to order some drinks. They have full bar service but we opted for their soju. If you like the effectiveness of alcohol without the taste or hangover, this is for you. It comes in a bunch of different flavors and even as an experienced drinker, it had me tipsy at the table. We ended up getting the honey garlic chicken wings. These wings were so crispy and flavorful. The sauce is sticky and delicious and they have a couple of flavors to pick from. It’s definitely a chill atmosphere but we were dancing at our table because the music was so good. Definitely check this out the next time you and your squad need a place to go.

We moved to this area from the SF Peninsula tis past year to be near family. While the restaurant variety is not what we were used to this is a gem and well worth it anytime. Stone pot Bibimbap is almost as tasty as what I had regularly when travelling to Korea for business over the last 30 years. The BBQ is really good and the all you can eat option is a bargain. I even like their kimchee which doesn't just taste of peppers. It;s really Korean and the service is nice, attentive, and with a good sense of humor. It's not a high end experience - very much like the small neighborhood places I liked in Seoul and Inchon.

I love how full I can get with this place, even if they don't have a ton of selections! I got here with a group of 8 on a Thursday night around 8pm and got seated quickly since it was kinda late. This is your regular area for KBBQ and it gets quite loud inside. It even shares some space wth the nearby Underground Kitchen as well. There's a bunch of sets you can order but for my group we decided on beef brisket and pork belly package for our table for about $30 per person. The food overall is a lot to take in, and I found myself wanting a lot more of the pork belly over the beef since there was just tons of flavor packed into it. Service was really fast and prompt too; we got our waters and banchan refilled quickly, and our grills replaced quickly whenever it got too burnt. Very solid experience and I'd come back here anytime I'm with a big group.

Christmas Eve at our fave kbbq location. We celebrated Christmas with family and friends already,'so time for ourselves. We've had kbbq all around town, Seattle, Renton , cap hill, tukwila, Kent. Shin Sung is still number one when we are not in L.A/OC.

I decided to try this place after my nephew recommended it when I asked for good Korean BBQ in Federal Way. My favorite spot is in Lakewood, but I thought I'd give this one a shot. The food was good--not the best Korean BBQ I've ever had, but decent overall. What I didn't like, though, was the service. My sister brought me here for my birthday, and we were just taking our time enjoying each other's company, but it felt like the staff wanted us to hurry up and leave. We'd put a few pieces of meat on the grill, and someone would come by and dump the rest of the plate on without asking, even though we didn't want to cook it all at once. Another thing I'm not a fan of is their "package" setup. They bring you a selection of meats based on the package you choose, some of which you may or may not want. At my usual spot, there's a big menu to order from, and they bring exactly what you ask for, which I prefer. It wasn't a bad experience, but it didn't win me over. I think I'll stick to my regular spot in Lakewood.

They charged us 18% gratuity when there was only four of us. They were also not hospitable and would not give us refills when we asked. Upon confrontation the lady just waved it off saying it's her business. Absolutely ridiculous, never coming here again.

Shin Sung is one of my favorite Korean BBQ spots. We usually just get the basic stuff. Brisket and pork belly. The staff is very nice.

Well it was my first time at this restaurant but not my first eating Korean BBQ. I would say that decor could use a little cleaning and updating. I would say staff can use a little training in customer service. And the main thing is their food, I don't think it's the best Korean BBQ in federal way and how they are set up is totally bad. You CANT choose which meats you get in the beginning. They just bring some shaved frozen beef and dump it on your grill. Then they just bring different types of meat all together. Pork is touching, beef?????? What???? I don't want pork, but there is no way to say no. I think this place is a solid two stars. But for $39.99 for each person and the quality of experience and the food is nowhere near justified for this establishment. THIS IS A SOLID 2 stars :( I do not recommend!!!! There are better Korean places not to far away that are much much better!

This restaurant is a hidden gem that have Great food! The atmosphere and the amount of food you get is incredible so I suggest you bring family's and friends if you want to finish your meals because it is a lot to take in. The service is also very fast and kind to suggest other options. I would definitely recommend it to everyone who love bbq.

They always seem to be understaffed when it gets busy- so most of the time you're definitely cooking for yourself. Have only had a person "cook" (really FLIP a few pieces of meat) for us once and I go here monthly/bi-monthly for AYCE pork belly/beef brisket. It's the most economical AYCE Kbbq in Federal Way, that's why my friends and I keep coming back. ($31-33/person after tax for AYCE pork belly/beef brisket). My friend always asks for ssam dip and you have to ask for sesame oil/salt dip. But otherwise they give a bottle of some kind of soy sauce dip. Good portion of salad and plenty of side dishes. You'll get your fill! We've always paid at register when we do AYCE (might be different on the "dine in" side/when they're not busy). Will only split payment by two if you come in a group of more than 2. Grab a free lolli on the way out. You will smell like meats when you leave.

Less choice of meat compared to other BBQ, we enjoyed galbi and beef brisket. Side dishes were also good!

The value of the all you can eat kbbq is WORTH. You get unlimited sides and there is an abundance of food. Service was great! I usually come here for my kbbq eats. The food is great, the flavor of all the meats and sauces are great, I have no complaints here!

One of the best places for KBBQ in Fed Way! Staff is always very friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

Not sure how anyone could give this place less than 5 Stars. It was fantastic. We orders the All You Can Eat set A and couldn't have been more satisfied. I've been to Korean BBQ all over from Seoul to Seattle and this place is towards the top of the list. Only suggestion would be to ask customers which proteins they want to start with. They bring all of them at once. Probably would have skipped the octopus & shrimp since we were so full at that point.

I used to come here quite often with my mom and sis before but had not had been able to come for about 5 years now. Yes they have 4 diff combos for AYCE. We ended up getting combo "S" Everyone at the table have to get same kind of combo, which totally makes sense. We were greeted as we walked in and seated literally in 10 seconds!!! Menu and water came together within next minute. We ordered "S" combo. Within 5 mins of ordering, they brought out all of our meats, side dishes, and condiments!!! It was pretty awesome that I did NOT have to wait 10 mins to order and another 15-20 mins for meat to grill. Our server lady started grilling our meat for us and within 15 mins of walking into the restaurant, we were already eating grilled meat. Loved the brisket, the steak and kalbi! Kalbi: Omg the kalbi here was phenomenal!! Not salty and not too sweet!!! Usually i cant eat more than one strip at restaurants (cause they are just too sweet) but I even wanted seconds here!! Brisket: yummmm!! Thin nice appropriately fatty pieces. Beef sirloin: nice cut with good marbling. Yumm Pork belly: not too thick and not too thin. Met my expectations of a good pork belly. Pork bulgogi: slightly sweet for my tastebuds but good flavor. Beef bulgogi: again slightly sweet for me but was nicely seasoned and grilled well. Marinated chicken: meh not my favorite but this is personal preference thats all. Service was fast and we did not have a designated server just like most other Korean restaurants but I kind of like that better because everyone takes care you and you don't have to wait for your server to check in on you 20 mins later than when you need them. Everyone was super nice! Side dishes were yummy (at least the ones I liked). Kimchi was fresh and well made!!! It is hard to find korean restaurants with good fresh kimchi (I make my own at home so I'm a snob when it comes to kimchi). Overall I was super impressed with the quality of cuts and service yesterday. Definitely returning again but next time, I will ask them to skip some of the marinated cuts until later into the meal.

This place is pretty good for all you can eat as long as you stick to the cheapest option which includes beef brisket and pork belly. I believe the cheapest combo after tax and tip is around $35. They used to include steamed egg and soup, but now it's extra. The banchans they provide are pretty good too. It can be busy on the weekends, but the weekdays are less busy. Make sure you get your server to change your grill pans because it can get firey with the cheapest combo because of all the oil!

I've been to a few BBQ places in Federal Way and never knew that Shin Sung was just around the corner. Thanks to a friend who recommended this place, I was able to try something new. The quality of meat was great! My friends and I got the pork belly and brisket and they were delicious! The pork belly was the right size and didn't need to be cut. Our servers were attentive and continually checked up on us and refilled our water. The restaurant is smaller than others that I've been to, but it was okay. The smoke from the BBQ didn't linger as the exhaust was actually working. Overall we had a great experience and will be back!

PROS: - It's AYCE Korean BBQ. Nuff said. - The Korean ajummas serving you are friendly and prompt. - If you're Korean, they'll hook you up with the samjjang and sesame oil/salt concoction. - The beef brisket / pork belly only option was a welcome addition for the price. The pork belly is definitely better than the brisket in my opinion. - The banchan was also quite decent. CONS: - The brisket was a little too chewy for my taste. - It was a little warm inside the restaurant. Not sure why the A/C unit wasn't running.

Decent kbbq in the fed! This is the place to go if you're looking for AYCE and aren't expecting very fine quality meats haha. The banchan was pretty good and the beef short ribs were a table favorite. Don't come here expecting great service tho. Had to ask multiple times for rice and utensils but food always came out quick.

SERVICE HERE IS AWFUL!!! THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND COMPLAIN ABOUT TIPS!!! First of all, the cheapest kbbq option used to be $17.99 for the C package that includes, beef brisket, pork belly, 2 rice bowls and soy bean soup. Reasonable price right? It now is $27.99 a person with the same C package. I do get the inflation of the economy but not that extreme. But after eating and paying AND leaving tip for our server, she claims that she gave the soy bean soup for FREE and was FORCEFULLY DEMANDING MORE TIP because she gave the soup for free. But again on the menu it says it was INCLUDED. She also did not change our grill, not even one time but we saw her change other customers' grills for fresh ones. The audacity to forcefully demand more tip from us when her service was almost decent. At the end, when we said that the soup was included and that we tipped, she gave us our tip back IN CASH and said she didn't need it because it was too small. This is the first time in my dinning experience that our server had openly complained about giving them a small tip. Other people would be grateful to receive anything in the food business. I would NOT recommend going here anymore!!!

I've been coming to shin sung since I was a wee little lad with my family and it's gotten a lot better. Unfortunately a lot pricier (cause now Korean food is hype af..) but the flavors and quality of meat is deff good for the price point. For $23/PP it's not bad... I am disappointed you have to ask for the soy bean paste soup and the steamed egg is extra? But oh well it's only like $3 each. The pork belly is super thick cut so it's really good. And with the AYCE set c, the thin sliced brisket is also super tasty with the special dipping sauce they make in house. I don't know what that sauce is but its fireeee. The salads seem like a substitute for traditional wraps, but it does its job. Would definitely recommend coming here for AYCE KBBQ

Dumplings and fried chicken or a big meat fest? We opted for meat on a recent Sunday. We were door busters at 11:00 am and ordered the $49 set because we wanted more than the two meat cheapest option. Server hooked us up pretty quickly with a couple trays of meat and an assortment of banchan. Took a bit for the meat to get cooked but when that thing got hot we struggled to keep up eating so had to put the cooked stuff on a small plate. Also came with a bowl of rice and some tofu soup. Ordered more pork belly and short ribs. When the griddle thing got a little crusty the server came through and swapped it out. - Although $57 a bit much to spend on lunch, I got my fill.

We came here at 6:30 on Saturday and we got the last seat because after us was a huge line. The waitstaff and lady at the front are very friendly and offered us more meat than we could eat. We ordered the 30.00 all you can eat, it came with rice and Korean side dishes. They changed the grill 3 times. The inside is plain Jane and a little smoky when all the grills are going at one time. We will return

When I want Korean BBQ this is my go to spot. I love the food and definitely get our my money's worth. I just wished the staff were nicer. The one male waiter was wonderful.

This will be my last time coming here. I have usually come here twice a month for the past 5 years. Throughout my time here, I've had a mixture of good and bad customer service. But I still continue to come here because of the food. This time we ordered a Set C combo, which came with just pork belly and brisket. Although the portion is already cut, we politely asked for a scissor just to cut the meat into a smaller portion, and they were being aggressive about it. They gave us a scissor, and a few minutes later, the front desk lady came to us and asked us why we needed a scissor, and we gave her the same reason. She came to us pretty aggressively about it too. Also, they never refilled our water. After we were done eating, we went to the same lady at the front desk (I think she was new; I had never seen her before). We paid and left a wrote a 10% tip. Although society's standard is to leave at least 15%, I don't mind because I'm usually a generous tipper. But, we left that amount of tip because they were rude. She saw that and kept pointing out that she wanted a 15% tip, shook her head, and gave us an attitude about it. She needs to understand that if she wanted that amount of tip, she should've been more respectful, and a tip is not mandatory. She's even lucky I still gave her that tip after the attitude she showed towards us. As I said before, I've been coming here for years. Honestly, the food is good and some of the staff members are nice, but I'm not coming back because of her.

I read the reviews before coming in to eat with my bf and friends for dinner. First of all this is the first korean restaurant that does all you can eat every single day. These ladies work every single day, so stfu to the other commenters. So what if they have resting b**** face?? They're tired and work everyday. I loved coming here, I was worried about had an open mind (especially since I'm the one that requested coming here instead of Goong.) Aside from the "rude"/"glaring" looks the ladies give, service was great especially when you're being polite and understanding to them. They gave me good service, plus everything is clean and spacious. Unlike Arirang, this place gave us two grills to cook with.

Another one of my favs in Federal Way! My family come here regularly and are always served well. The food is awesome and the Ambiance is welcoming and snug, but comfortable. It's one of these tucked away spots that's always delights. Come on by and enjoy. They serve Soju and beer, so bring friends and have a great time.

I highly recommend this place. The server/ladies were super nice and friendly & the the food was delicious. Can't wait to go back here again. We ordered the V Combination A, between Bae & I it was a lot of food. Guess not used to eating AYCE. Food were very delicious and those Fish cakes were soo good. We had ask about 4x. Love the taste and flavor.

Service was really bad this time around. They're not the most attentive people but this time, we felt pretty rush and ignored. We only had one round, waited and tried to flagged a waitress down for more meat, but failed. We only got more when a waitress came to bring us a check, but we weren't done eating! We asked for more of the marinated meats and she dumped the whole thing on the grilled when she came back. Pretty disappointed since the food here and the quality meat here is good.

The sides here are the best quality and taste I've ever had anywhere!! I absolutely recommend the cold noodles with hot paste! So refreshing and perfect for the hot weather.

I asked my co-worker where he goes for Korean food. His eyes lit up and told me, "Shin Sung! You gotta try it if you've never been!" It was around lunch time and my friend and I happened to be in the Federal Way area. I said, "Let's go to Shin Sung!" Although the restaurant isn't on the main drag of Pac Hwy or 320th we eventually found the hidden restaurant thanks to Google. We opted for a non-bbq table since our time was limited. We ordered from the M-F lunch menu. I ordered the #1 Bulgogi with a side of steamed egg soup and my friend had the #14 Bibimbap. Entree's included banchan and everything was good. The restaurant is small but was fairly busy during lunch time. I guess people have had some issues with service but there may be factors at play such as going during the lunch or evening rush or going on the weekend. However, if they have a bad apple working there, that employee has gotta go! I know it's hard to manage a mom and pop shop but at least service was good when we went considering that we came around 2pm during the week.

The food and service was great! The servers were very accommodating and attentive. The side dishes were just okay, but they have good quality meat!

We were in the area and decided to give this place a try. We got a table right away. The waitress was nice and came back several times to fill out hit tea. The AYCE seemed a bit pricey so we decided to go a la cart. The Bibimbap In Hot Stone Pot was good but very little beef and Japchae also had little shredded beef but both tasted good. The sides were really good. The restaurant is a bit small but clean. Parking was easy.

Good food with good flavor. Service was good as well. Great Authentic ambiance. Overall we left full and satisfied.

I don't know who trained the servers there but what was that. The guy ignored everything I asked for and gave us attitude over simple questions. As me being a business owner, I would never hire anyone like that. This restaurant will have me back once the servers are retrained or even gone...

When it comes to price for quality, that's exactly what you'll find at Shin Sung. Their all you can eat options are amazing deals. I always choose option C (samgyupsal and chadolbaegi/pork belly and beef brisket) and it never ceases to disappoint. Coming in, I'm introduced to a wide variety of banchan (side dishes) including an incredible salad. With the addition of the meat, the whole meal just tastes spectacular. Also, the water here is fantastic.

My favorite spot for a cheaper-ish AYCE Korean BBQ. If you just like the pork belly and brisket at KBBQ places, this is the place for you. I think the price for the brisket/pork belly used to be $14.99 for lunch but now I think it's $19.99 for lunch/dinner which is still slightly cheaper than the rest of the competitors. Service is really hit or miss. Sometimes they're excellent and refilling everything and sometimes you just have to keep calling the server over. I love all their sides. My favorites are the potato, cucumber kimchee (not always there), fish cake and the bean sprouts. I really go to KBBQ places for the unlimited sides haha. Anyways, if you're trying to spend a little less money and only eat Brisket and Pork belly for AYCE, this is the place to be.

Came here for my sons birthday. Worst service ever. Rude! We ordered seconds on all you can eat and they treated us like we were steaming from them. Then don't have all you can eat on the menu! The waitress/hostess acted like we were putting her out every time we asked her for something. I did not tip and I'm a huge tipper. Food was decent though so I'll give them 1-star.

Super good food. You get a lot of meat for the price. The sides are great too. The service was really good as well, really attentive. It was very popular in the evening. Would be good for families because of the relaxed atmosphere.

I've been going here since 2004. The price seems to be increasing very quickly and significantly. I take photos of the menu to show my friends of menu and cost, if they want to eat here. Only maybe one waitress pays attention to my table checking if I need something, like water, napkins or more food. I don't know why they are so cheap with napkins and only give you one and none on the table. And no they were not THAT busy. Sometimes I had to get my own water. As much as I like this place, I may look for another place.

Solid kbbq place in town with decent prices . I wish they had a rewards system bc my boyfriend and I come here at least twice a month. Option C which is just their brisket and pork belly hits the spot every time. Just the right amount of meat - usually the other options have a variety of meat but it can be too overwhelming for us. Their side dishes are great, love the kimchee radishes, salad and spicy fish cakes. Love the ladies working here - they've always been sweet to us. They bring the meat and side dishes so quickly - love the efficiency. My boyfriend always orders a coke here - surprisingly it's one of the best fountain sodas we've had - strange, I know but having that crisp coke throughout the meal is chefs kiss. Can't complain about this place, it's always been a staple for us.

The food was good and the employees were nice and polite! We got the AYCE Combo B (24.99/person). The chicken, beef, and pork meats were delicious and they refilled our banchan (side dishes), rice, and meat whenever we asked even as the restaurant was busy. Definitely go on an empty stomach if you want to get your worth with AYCE. It does get busy and packed, but they do offer you to put down your name and number and will notify you when you're next to get a table.

Love this Korean bbq place it's my go to with my friends and family. I always come to this place when I crave Korean bbq they have delicious meat and it's a great place to eat and catch up with friends.

Tucked in a plaza near the Clarion Hotel, you'll find a Korean restaurant that'll satisfy your bachan & all-you-can-eat cravings. There's also plenty of parking and a roomy sitting area. I came on Friday night and had to wait for 15mins to get a table for two. Immediately the waiters came with ice water and I requested for hot tea since it was freezing that night. We ordered the $25.99 All You Can Eat Special- Combo A. It comes with everything that option B has but it also includes seafood (octopus and shrimp) as well as beef short ribs. I definitely recommend this option although it's a bit pricey but you can order however much of anything you would like more of (I love pork belly and the octopus). The meal is accompanied by a soybean paste stew and daily bachan (usually includes kimchee and other assorted veggies) as well as white jasmine rice, side salad. We also requested for the in-house salty oil dipping sauce and some sriracha, as well as jalapeños and garlic for the barbecuing. They don't do the work for you, so it's moreso you interacting and barbecuing your own meat! Makes it more fun! We were very full with just 1 helping of what was delivered. The only thing I wish they would do is take the shell and veins out of the prawns. It's a tad bit of a splurge for this combo at a Korean bbq but it was so worth it! Can't leave the place with an empty stomach that's for sure! Can't wait to be back and I highly recommend this Korean barbecue knowing there's many others around federal way.

This is an updated review. I have gone here multiple times and usually have a great experience. The food has always been great. During our meal today, a cockroach came out of the grill and walked around the table in the middle of our meal. This will be the last time I dine here.

Why is this place advertise as AYCE, when middle of our dinner, we are told they are out of brisket. Should have offered something else to replace so called item they have run out of??? We were not close to being full, and worse, the wait staff were so rude. Will not go back!!!

Service was fast but wasn't good. The server didn't say a single word when we ordered and just walked away. Didn't check in on us but had the audacity to stood there at the table waiting and told us to give them tips when we were counting the change she just gave back. Beef brisket and pork belly were good. The marinated pork and beef were a tad sweet for my taste. Overall 3 stars for the food and price but will not come back. So Moon Nan Jib is a little bit pricier but has way better food and services.

I am from Orange County, CA and there are a ton of AYCE KBBQ places there. So moving to Seattle, I noticed a lack of AYCE KBBQ in the city. I mentioned this to Cody, who's a born and raised Seattleite, and he said you find AYCE places either in Fed Way or Shoreline but he's never had it before. So while in CA this summer, I brought him to a spot in Hawaiian Gardens, CA and he really liked the AYCE KBBQ there! So for his bday this year, he requested AYCE KBBQ and I found this place! I called 2 weeks ahead to make reservations, and they happily took down my name and party count. Then 2 days before we went, I had to call again to up the head count to 14 people and they said no problem! When we showed up, they had 3 tables ready for us. Perfect! Oh I also called ahead and asked if we can bring our own cake and they said it was ok! (They even provided paper plates and plastic utensils for us) We all ordered the $26 special AYCE. 2 of 3 tables had never experienced AYCE KBBQ so they were a bit overwhelmed. My table of 6 happily cooked and chowed down on multiple orders of kalbi, bulgolgi, brisket, and sirloin. We even cleaned up the other tables leftovers lol. I enjoyed the kalbi the most! Service was decent, they were really busy and you can tell they were doing the best they can to serve everyone. One gripe was that when I asked if they could clear the table when we finished to serve the cake, they said they couldn't clear it and we would have to wait 10 min. So that was inconvenient, we ate cake around our dirty dishes. The buzzers don't work, we tried ringing them. My favorite side dish was the marinated potatoes.
