I flew back to Taiwan to have a proper Taiwanese meal with my family before Lunar New Year ended.
I would highly recommend making an early reservation as it’s always full house due to the office buildings and exhibition centres being located within 5-10 mins walking distance.
As I didn’t make any reservation and walked in during lunchtime, we waited nearly 30 mins to be seated.
Three of us ordered a two-pax lunch set meal and an extra vegan soup and dessert. It’s way too much for us, and we need to take it away.
All the dishes were relatively excellent and appealing, but the pork was served too slowly, and we almost forgot about it. Identical to the dessert, I have to go over to the waitress to inform them that we have finished the meal and please serve the dessert. The green tea is nicely brewed, but the best is still the vegan soup.
The handicapped toilet is on maintenance, and most of the tools are stored in the lady’s room; a waiter came into the lady’s room without knocking, and I was deeply disturbed.
All the all, if you are just talking about the food and people who stand at the counters, they are high quality, trained and well cooked. But the rest of the staff seems not experienced.
It’s a good try.
