The lamb soup is a must get - I’d say stick to the lamb meat version. I’d say they could add more cabbage in there. There is descent amount of meat in the soup. What I like about the soup is it’s not too salty so you can adjust that yourself later.
The pancakes included with the soup is okay - the sesame paste version doesn’t have a strong sesame paste flavor, but the green onion and ham version is descent.
The soup noodle version of the lamb soup is okay - noodle is not home made and it’s a bit too soft for my liking. It also lacks flavors.
Lamb skewers are also pretty good, give it a try. The lamb racks aren’t as easy to eat as lamb skewers so I’d only try that for novelty reasons.
The meat burger (肉夹馍)is good - juicy meat, good bun and green pepper is included unlike Old Xi’an. You’d think green pepper is an okay topping, but it really adds to the complexity of the flavor profile.
You could get a membership for $99 which get you unlimited lamb soup (with the pancake or noodle) EVERYDAY. If you like lamb, go for it. They also give you free beer (24 bottles) or other beverage equivalents. You also get 20% off. Descent plan if you like lamb.
Overall, the food is descent, worth a try. Parking is fairly easy to find if you park on TD side. Service level can vary given the server, but over all, if you wave they come. Price wise, it’s right in the middle of the pack.
