- Shinesegae Dept Store is the perfect place to shop for apparel & cosmetics! Nearby Myeondong area & Namdaemun market 🛍️ - Tried the Guo dumplings in the food court, right amount of fried bottoms yet sustaining the softness of the meat. Overall, good Chinese comfort food, comparable to the ones found here locally in Binondo (PH Chinatown) - Will try the Super Matcha next time & other food options available 🍵🍱

Shinsegae Main Store The store is clean and not too crowded, which makes shopping really comfortable. Luxury brands don’t require long waits, so you can walk right in. The food court, though, is always packed—especially on weekends—and honestly, the basement food court wasn’t that great. Overall, a solid spot if you avoid the weekends.

I love their food court! So many great options to choose from. One thing I would not recommend is Kaljebie place as my dish was so bland and lack of flavor that I was not able to finish. So I had to order Kimbop and it’s super yummy. This is a huge department store and it’s a convenient place for all in one experience to shop and eat at a one stop in my opinion.

On our annual trip to Korea last Fall to visit friends and relatives, we stopped by SHINSEGAE Dept Store to visit the food court. These are a variety of food choices but we particularly like Paris Croissant as a great place to have pastry and coffee and watch people. This time we had the Fig & Yogurt Square Cake. It was delicious and so was the coffee. A great place to unwind from a busy shopping day.

When we went the department store is under renovations and there were no signage about that. We had to ask the staffson site, however their english is very limited. Luckily the food court is still open, however its extremely busy and crowded.
