I came all the way from the Bronx to try this sandwich. At first, things were ok. The dude who rang me up was cordial and told me it was a bit of a wait because they had a large order to handle. I understood and I sympathized with him because he was the only one there at first. It was my day off so I had time to kill and didn’t mind the wait. The energy shifted when another man came who was loud and almost belligerent with 2 other men. I began to feel uncomfortable like I was being judged. I couldn’t wait to get my food. When I got my food, the sandwich was cold, my chips were cold, some were not even cooked and some tasted burnt. It was not worth the $21.79 that I spent. I don’t even know if that was really waygu beef, it could have been regular ground beef for all I know. I feel scammed.

The place seems pretty neat. I saw someone review them on Instagram and I said I have to go try their chopped cheese which has wagyu beef. Saw the prices on the menu and it was a bit pricey but considering the area and the quality of beef I was still game to try it out. I got a Big Boy with a Dussé Colada and wasn't disappointed. The Big Boy was well seasoned and blended well with the toppings. The Dussé Colada was very tasty and put in an adult Capri Sun container. Overall it was a great pairing. The staff was very friendly and assured me it was gonna Shmack...and it did.

No exaggeration, the chopped cheese from here is probably one of the best in the city. Great vibes/aesthetic and awesome workers. Jordan you did your thing gang appreciate it !

It's really upsetting when businesses don't value people's time and energy. Came from far to get myself a few of their infamous sandwiches only to get there to find out they closed early. This really hit a nerve. Word to the owner, if you're going to close early or you sell out you should at least update your website or IG account to alert patrons who are traveling to you to spend their money. It's a very simple request!

From the sandwich to the chips to the Hulk drink everything was DELICIOUS I meber had a chopped cheese so good. And that hot sauce is amazing! Chef Steven looked out and did his thing, thanks so much I’LL BE BACK 🥳🔥

The wagyu beef sandwich including the chopped steak that I had was super delicious version of a cheesesteak... just take it the way they serve it! He also had some wonderful frozen drinks... super delish!!

As an East Harlem native I’ve been enjoying chop cheeses for over 20 years so when I heard about Shmackwich I had to come see for myself. Absolutely perfect. Wagyu beef on a nicely toasted ciabatta bread with just the right amount of hot honey sauce. S/o to chef Steven for the amazing customer service and making us feel like we was back uptown.

I DREAM of the Wagyu Chop Cheese it’s soooo good. I hope they open more locations and have more pop ups soon. Support a black owned business owned by some dope folx— you won’t regret it!

I am in disbelief.... $22 for THE WORST THE TINIEST chopped cheese in NYC. Go to the deli and get your moneys worth because this vendor ain't it

The restaurant did reach back out to me but I will never return. I refused to be scammed twice. The only thing they can do to rectify this for me is give me my money back. Eat at your own risk

Stopped by Olly Olly Market with some friends yesterday, and I chose to order from Shmackwich - the wagyu chopped cheese was delicious, albeit a bit pricy for the size.

I ordered a Wagyu Chopped Cheese from this place, and I loved it! I have never actually been there, but the food was hot and well packed. I got a sense of care and cleanliness. I will order again.

One of the very worst food delivery experiences I've ever had. Very cold wagyu chopped cheeses- which tasted awful . Sloppy. Forgot to add chips to the sandwich . Sent me a Red Bull instead of a coke. Simply careless and awful

I have gone twice in two days during stated business hours (not during any holiday), and both times, no one was there.
