I drive past this spot very often, today I decided to pull over and go inside. I was not disappointed. It's a boutique that has a nice coffee shop inside. They offer clothes, plants, home decoration, a few cool books, jewelry etc. I was informed that they even sometimes host arts shows and exhibits in their basement. They have couches and WiFi if you'd like to relax and get some work done. This is a really cool place to hangout.

Update: sadly I’ve found out that Shopkeepers is permanently closing! So sad to see this great store gone from our community! So sad to see this excellent shop targeted and destruction of their property! As soon as it reopens I’ll be back every day for delicious coffee, boba tea, and to explore their amazing selection of handpicked products. They only have ever contributed to the community, hosting multiple, often free, events and making their space inviting for everyone. Can’t wait to see their doors open again after the horrible vandalism!

A very friendly place for the whole family, very clean and spacious restroom for the family. Assortment of teas, and coffee. Consignment clothing for adults. Mini grocery store, pets are welcome. Shop owner is very friendly and nice. Was able conduct review with shop owner. This shop is fun exotic and a well organized hybrid boutique. This shop also sells magazines of a particular nature. This shop does have curbside pickup and in-shopping. I recommend this place to the whole family. Great fun and a exotic inclusion.

Some of the most quality and friendly neighborhood coffee shop in DC. Not only do they have supreme cold brew and lattes, they have traditional korean comfort fridge featuring homemade kimchi, ingredients, ramen and sweet snacks. If you are ever in our neighborhood, give this place a try!

Asian Grocery oasis in the desert of DC. Only bubble tea place on cap hill. The owner was so nice about ordering a random niche Asian ingredient that I needed for a dish. Plus all the fun hipster things you would want to browse like pretty glasses or diffusers. Super unique.

Love this joint. I know it's described as "bubble tea shop" but honestly it's much more! (Although i do think the boba is pretty good!) (1) Asian grocery. It's got some great staples (think: LaoGanMa chili crisp, Kewpie mayo, thai basil, curry paste, LKK oyster sauce, fresh noodles amd Asian vegs, etc). Fairly priced as well. Doesn't replace your 99 Ranch or HMart runs, but definitely saves you trips! (2) Hipster luxury home goods and gifts. Really lovely stuff. (3) Cafe with good coffee and lattes and stuff (and wifi!). Good place to hang out and work.

I'm new to this area and had a craving for boba... it's the closest place to me and I'm very glad because it was so good! Fairly priced and beautiful inside. It's a shop with a variety of things and very clean and organized. I'll definitely be back for neighborhood boba.

One stop shop! Was in the area and looking for coffee and this place popped up in my search. It's way more than coffee! They sell clothes, books, Asian groceries, including fresh produce. It's also a cafe. Interacted with friendly employees. Tried a chai latte and it was really good. They even sell bubble tea here. If you're nearby, check them out!

So they pretty much sell everything here. They sell boutique second hand clothes, wellness items like candles and oils, board games, stationary, house plants, Asian groceries, and books. Oh did I mention they are also a cafe with coffee and boba? You can tell everything here is meticulously arranged and treated with love. Obviously paying a premium for the small business support, but I think it's well deserved and worth it here to spend your dollars. The vibe is wellness, and you just feel a little bit more at ease walking into this shop. I was sus of the boba, so I got a hot tea instead, but the other reviews are saying good things, so next time I will give their boba a shot!

Uhm just wow, was not expecting this cute gem of a place at this location at all! I was craving boba for #nationalbobaday and had originally wanted to go to the more well known shop, Spot of Tea at the Noma location but was sad to find out that the place had been permanently closed down. So Google led me to here. The neighborhood is what I would describe as up and coming; north of H street/south east of Noma/south of Trinidad. The shop has a little bench outside for people to sit down on. They have seating inside with a bunch of coffee tables. The shop is a mix of sustainable/second hand clothing shopping, Asian groceries/goods, and of course coffee/tea/boba. This is the first shop of its kind I've ever been in. A very eco friendly store with kind employees. I got the brown cow boba (brown sugar, milk tea, and oat milk) and my boyfriend got the yuzu iced tea (green tea with yuzu extract). We enjoyed our drinks very much. We had it inside by a coffee table. Browsed through a few copies of the New Yorker and played with an etch a sketch I will definitely be coming back here. Love the overall aesthetics of the place!!

I am always craving boba and was so thrilled to find this spot near me! Shopkeepers is a comfortable and welcoming place put together with a sharp eye for design. They have a collection of groceries, home goods, and clothing (including a pre-loved rack). My drink was high quality (I only wish there was more boba!) and I will be back. Shopkeepers also has great places to sit and relax, so it is a great place to go with friends.

My wallet pretty much burst into flames when I dropped two Lincolns and two Washingtons on a bag of Kit Kats (it was custard pudding flavor) but I'll be damned...this store is just great. It's one part H-Mart, one part plant shop, one part book store, one part coffee shop, one part clothing store, one part stationary shop, one part ceramics shop, one part community gathering area, one part kids store and a whole lot of Instagrammable areas in between. I'm a mom so I don't have time to frequent all of the above in one day so it's nice to a place that combines my love for all things in one for a thrilling fifteen minute excursion. I'll definitely be back when I want to grab a nice gift for a friend...or even better, myself. PS: The Kit Kats were totally worth it.

Loved it here!! Very similar to Maketto (and very close by) since it's part cafe, part retail, part plant shop, and part Asian market. I'm not surprised since the wife of the owner at Maketto opened this place up! It's spacious and beautiful inside, and I know they host events in the basement since I've been to an art show once here. Things are a bit pricey here tho tbh I really enjoyed my Brown Cow boba tea. It's a bit sweet tho so be careful! Cool that their default is oat milk here! I got to try my friends' Coffee Vanilla and Yuzu Honey, and both were also really good. Can't wait to come back to try more boba!!

I didn't know I needed a local bubble tea shop/ clothing store/ specialty grocery / home goods store (or even that such a fantastical place existed) but I can confirm that I did.

Such a cute little shop!!! It's part cafe, part grocery store, and part boutique. I'm so glad I found this place cause now I won't need to go to Virginia or Maryland to get my asian grocery essentials. Prices for groceries are a little higher but it's worth the convenience. We also ordered some boba drinks and they were excellent! I got the Yuzu tea and my friend got the mango drink and both were amazing on a hot DC day. Owners are also very kind (we came at the end of the day and they gave us some extra leftover boba to go!).

I popped in here and ended up staying longer than expected as I explored the small but interesting store. It's like a clothing shop meets Asian grocery store meets bubble tea shop--there is a lot going on, but in a good way. I came in looking for some specific ramen ingredients for a Yelp Elite cooking class, and I ended up seeing some of my favorite candies and other things from when I lived in Korea. There is a small refrigerated section as well as a coffee bar where you can get coffee, bubble tea, etc. It was fun to just walk around and now I know where to go to get some Shin Ramyeon without driving out to H-Mart. Yay!

I came here for an event with FYP DC. This place is a quaint space nestled in the shower neighborhood and it is a little bit hard to find but I was able to get her through Uber. There are no public transportation to come here but it's walkable from H St. This place is a space for pop up events but it's also a place that has a little coffee shop and they also sell clothing apparel, plants, art, etc. You can rent out the space for your event and have the coffee shop for use. The space is very clean and organize and you can have plenty of seating for an event. We were told by the worker that they hold art shows and others to promote the space and to support small businesses. I really like that about this place. I recommend that we support small businesses like Shopkeepers. I will keep this place in mind in case I need an event space!

Apparel/coffee shop that unites hipster cool with friendly, neighborhood vibe? Yes, please! From the creator of nearby Maketto and Toki Underground, comes the newest Erik Bruner-Yang sensation. On the corner of Florida Ave and 13th St NE on your way from H Street to Noma is this one story apparel/coffee shop. Before you're drawn in by the simple, yet elegant sign, you'll walk past a sign with their hours- 11AM-6PM. To the left is a row of women's clothes and directly in your front is a row of men's latest fashion trends. To your right are shelves of fun magazines like Cereal City Guides and Kinfolk. As you wander in, you'll notice notebooks, dinnerware, and glass teapots for sale. In the very back is a simple coffee shop decorated with white tiles. There's a bar where you can enjoy one of three items on their menu- pour over Vigilanti coffee, hot tea, or a really, really, really good bowl of Japanese curry rice. If the bar isn't your scene, grab one of 8 seats at the giant Maketto style table and enjoy the free wifi. If you need a snack, there's a nearby giant fridge full of bottled teas, mochi, and water bottles. Shopkeepers is worth the visit and further proves DC is THE city to be these days!

I had seen people post about Shopkeepers clothing and just assumed that's all it was. But it's so much more! A neighbor told me that they have boba tea, so I popped by for some and it was so. good. They have both traditional teas and some fun takes of their own. My sister-in-law has a really specific order and they were able to accommodate it easily as their baseline is made with oat milk. They also have a small grocery--including things like kimchi and fresh greens--and cute gifts for adults and kiddos alike. The clothes are lovely but not really my style, but they're totally appropriate for DC's look without being as boring as the DC norm can tend to be. I'd love to come back the next time I need to give someone a cool present or when I'm out of a specific ingredient for dinner. I'll DEFINITELY be back or the boba.

I came across this lovely shop close to their closing time. Despite that, the staff were still friendly and accommodating as they greeted me when I entered the shop. There is a fun, hipster collection of home goods, clothing, a small grocery stocked with Asian vegetables and snacks, and a coffee/boba tea bar. I wasn't sure if I should order anything given the time, but one of the staff asked if she could help with anything or start a drink, so I went for it. I had the brown cow (main components are black tea and brown sugar) which is made with oat milk by default. The staff asked if I would like the drink to be less sweet, and I am glad she did because I always forget to adjust the sweetness level. I really liked it, and was also pleasantly surprised the boba comes unsweetened by default! I am not certain if there are many places in DC that offer unsweetened boba. Will be back to check out more of the store and try another drink (maybe get the same one).

One of my favorite neighborhood cafes/shops. Somewhat hidden which I like. Right around the corner from H Street Corridor. A great playlist is always playing and I love the energy which is important. This shop also supports our local community of artists. The matcha latte is perfect. The lower level hosts art installations that are always thoughtfully curated. If I could describe it, it's like the treehouse where you wanted to hideout when you were younger. The peacefulness away from the busy, a space where you can feel creative, and a place where you can think without all the noise of the Starbucks-esque crowd. Come here and sit for a while. You'll find your center.

I popped into Shopkeepers this week and am seriously kicking myself that I hadn't come in sooner. Shopkeepers is super cute, a mixture of a clothing store, coffee shop (with boba!), a gift shop, and a small Asian grocery, with some seating for those who want to enjoy their drinks in house. I came in for the bubble tea. It's a limited menu and a bit expensive, but the tea was fresh and very tasty. The service was great and I was able to lower the sugar level of my tea. I'm already planning to come back to pick up some of the Kit Kats, Chinese donuts, and other grocery items I had my eye on!

I was walking around the neighborhood and popped in. It's a great place to pick up some well-curated Asian grocery staples in the neighborhood between big trips out to H-Mart. Also a cool selection of clothes and books, and the lady working today was really chill and helpful.

Wish I had known about this gem sooner! So happy to have a local Asian grocery. It sells fresh items like homemade soy milk and Chinese donuts (油条), produce perfect for stir frying, and a number of condiments essential to cooking Chinese, Japanese or Korean cuisine. Also sells a number of options for bubble tea, which did not disappoint!

Holy Moly.....it's just Curry and Rice but it is soooooooooo delicious! The service was super friendly! It's like walking into your friend's house to have lunch!

Shopkeepers is lovely. It's tucked away off of H Street, but is a perfect spot to do work and enjoy one of their very tasty cakes. The WiFi is great and it's always quiet. The most upsetting thing is that it's hours are short, but otherwise this is a great spot for cake, tea/coffee, and a book.

Kid friendly, amazing coffee, perfect vibe. Everyone here is so friendly. I just wish I would've found it sooner.

This is a must-go place in DC. The vibe is so welcoming, cool, and eclectic. I buy a piece of clothing every time I go in! Today I decided to get some food and oh wow, it was one of the best dishes I've had in D.C. Ask for the Japanese pancake with homemade BBQ sauce (sorry, I forgot the name!) and you will not be disappointed. That BBQ sauce is on another level; you can actually buy it to take home! They even have an exhibition space downstairs and we got to explore a really moving photography exhibit. Needless to say, this place has something for everyone, and I highly recommend shopping/eating/hanging here!

Coffee review: i have had the drip and an iced latte. Both were fantastic. My understanding is that they roast the beans on site. Five stars for that. The problem is it's seriously expensive. Maybe when they do more business and start selling beans etc the prices will come down. Until then I can't see stopping here as a regular occurrence. Especially with maketto peregrine and wydown so close.

This is a really interesting place. It has a really nice clothes, some books, teapots... I think you may be getting the idea. It even has a cafe that serves japanese curry, and or okonomiyaki. I like the cafe because the food is good, and the place has a really mellow vibe. So check out the store, have coffee or tea and don't forget to check the cooler for the excellent tarts, or other treats.
