Shorebreak Pizza & Taphouse - Shore Drive

Friends and I were visiting the area and decided to stop in and we weren't disappointed. We went as soon as they opened and were greeted and seated immediately. The customer service was perfect and the food was really good. Pictured is all of our food and I had the white truffle burger with bacon which was delicious. My garlic parm tots were ok. I may try the fries or another side if we are ever back to try this place again.

I was a little disappointed at the amount and quality of the buffalo cauliflower I just picked up. I've dined in before and absolutely do not remember an order being this small. It was also $15 which I think is quite a bit pricey for the amount I received. Then when I paid with cash, I was even asked if I wanted my change back.... on a takeout order. It was just all a little off-putting to me so I really don't think I'll be back because of that.

Dining in is always great, but favorite or curbside pickup. Where else can you go and you get the sweetest messaged on your pizza box? And did I mention how great Minerva and Camden are? I live in Great Bridge but driving all that way is definitely worth it. Pizza is amazing!

Their food and service is spot on and in the event someone is having an off day (which is rare but it happens once in a while) they are very quick to address and resolve any issues. They are known for their pizza which is great but I LOVE their burgers and they always have a tasty seasonal salad for when I feel like being healthy. Their milkshakes are a fantastic end to a delicious meal especially on a hot summer night. The bar is my favorite area to sit but there are several tables, a little arcade for the kids, pool tables, and an outdoor patio. Whether you're visiting or live here I highly recommend checking this place out!

One of our favorite restaurants in VA Beach. The staff is always friendly when we visit, but our fave waitress is Gabi. She's always so sweet and kind to my little one, who loves to talk. The restaurant does get busy, but the wait staff stays very attentive. Our fave app is the fried pickles. All of the various drinks I've tried have been really good. We usually get the pizza during our visits because my boys always request it. Highly recommend!

First visit, based on a friend's recommendation. Marvelous experience. The place is lively, and the noise level is that of a busy place full of happy customers (!), but manageable. The pizza was excellent, the best we've had in a long time. Beats all of the chains' pizzas by a mile. Great service, good beer selection, reasonable prices, large number of options for food . . . overall an outstanding experience!!

Great food, service & the view of the sunset was amazing. Seated outside around fire pit! Also did pickup one evening, they bring it out to your car. Great cocktails as well!

We went to Shorebreak Taphouse for a family dinner on a busy Friday night after 6:30 PM. Despite the popularity of the evening, we only had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, which wasn't a big deal at all. To start, we ordered a variety of appetizers: the beer cheese pretzel, edamame, salmon bites, and both boneless and bone-in wings. My daughter opted for a cheesesteak, which she enjoyed. Overall, everything was fine, but the standout dish of the night was definitely the salmon bites--they were absolutely delicious! I went for a Mango Crush, and I was offered an extra shot on the side for just $5. I understand why now--this drink is dangerously delicious and tastes like juice! I definitely recommend taking them up on that extra shot. The ambiance is true Taphouse style. There are tvs everywhere, and the restaurant is filled with tables of customers conversations. My daughter was sitting next to me and I could barely hear her. In summary, we had a lovely family dinner, enjoyed great food, and left with smiles all around!

Great pizza with a slightly spicy sauce. Fun atmosphere. This place is managed well, all help knew what to do and helped.

A nice spacious restaurant with pool tables and lots of tvs for watching sports. We found this spot for a cute date night of football and pizza. We ordered thin crust pizza with peppers, pepperoni, and sausage and it was delicious. However, the lemon pepper wings stole the show. I will be back for wings to go. They were amazing. The customer service was good too.

Ambiance was fun as the have pool tables and many televisions for watching sports. Service was good and friendly. They also have pitchers of beer available and a good choice of drinks when going out with a group or friends. They also have food is hit and miss. The pizza was just okay, although, one person in our group had a chicken Cesar wrap and really liked it. They also have specials and a happy hour, so be sure to check the signs and the time upon arrival.

This will be a quick review because I was at the bar and got take out. 1st the vibe. Great place to go with friends to watch a game or a family because they have games in the back for kids. It's noisy with tv's and music so if you are looking for quiet this is not your place but it's a great place to watch a game. I ordered slices of pizza to go and had a HH glass of wine while I waited. Bartender was friendly and when I ordered the pizza slices she asked if I wanted 2 boxes. I did but that was a nice touch for customer service. I dropped off a slice for a friend and brought one home for me. It was just how I like it. Thin crust and crispy. Not too much sauce. I really enjoyed it. They have HH until 5:30 pm and your typical bar food....pizza and wings seem to be the big items. But they do have salads and sharable appetizers like pretzels and shrimp and tuna bites. Seems like a good sports bar to watch a game.

I LOVE this place so much. Every time I come down to VB I come here, my last vacation I went here all, 7, days, not a fancy place, not room service, shorebreak. I would kill for this place. I wish I wasn't hundreds of miles away I would eat this every day.

I feel absolutely horrible about having to do this, I am not the type to sit here and write a review but, the service I had tonight was not ok. Our food was horrible and the manager literally came over and said he knew what the problem was because our server was not attentive at all... there was no one there so I don't understand there was bad service, if it was busy I would completely understand. Once again I hate to be this way but I have never ate out with such a bad experience.... Hope it was just a bad night for them.

I enjoy visiting this place often the aesthetics of the outside is welcome and inside is really nice. Staff and waitresses are very attentive. The quesadillas, the wings, the nachos and pizza are always a great selection they never miss and I enjoy coming back often!

The pizza was really good. The service was okay. The ambiance was okay. The Brussel sprouts and fries were delicious. We got the Detroit style pizza and it was fire.

Great Taphouse. Lively attentive staff. Really good drinks. Loud with chatter and activity not for a quiet dinner. Decorated with sports memorabilia. Yes this IS the place for a great evening out. The live music offered is a PLUS. I enjoy the menu. I appreciate the chef's eye for tapas, appetizers, delicious wings, and specialties that I just offered at any other restaurant. I cannot wait to return. Our server was super friendly attentive and professional. He swiftly waited all the tables on our side with a smile.

Football Sunday is WAY more fun at ShoreBreak! I wish we had checked it out sooner. It far surpassed my expectations. Any time I think of billiards venues, I get flashbacks to the smoky haze of Q-Masters and I cringe. Shorebreak is on the opposite spectrum. Their name may be a misnomer, even, because they really don't have a huge number of billiards tables. The space is mostly dedicated to the bar, restaurant and a huge arcade area. Parking is private lot, and I suspect it gets hairy if you arrive after kick off on game days. We arrived around 12:30 and had no trouble getting a space. We were welcomed by the host and he asked who we would be watching so he made sure we had a view of our requested game. So considerate! As soon as we sat, we were greeted and offered drinks. Their beer menu is on point. Some local offerings, lots of bottles and cans and wine as well. The food menu doesn't disappoint either. We weren't much in the mood for pizza, so I had a salad and hubs a tuna sandwich. The sandwich had a huge filet of tuna - cooked perfectly. He loved it. My salad was good, but I asked for grilled chicken and it must have been piping hot when put on the salad. It melted the cheese (which I hate on a salad) and wilted some of the lettuce. It was a good portion, and the unaffected salad was tasty. We saw a lot of pizzas coming out and they all looked and smelled really good. I will definitely return to dig in to a slice! I also appreciate that the kids menu can come with fruit or veggies. The atmosphere was great, service was exceptional and food was really good. I definitely plan to return soon!

Honestly, the pictures speak for themselves. Food was delicious and so fresh. We also got fried pickles and spinach artichoke dip as appetizers, and they didn't last long enough for pictures. The waitress was super nice and they got our food out really quick. The staff was all friendly even tho we went on a really busy day(game day lol). This is a chill place, lots of people in sweats, which is really nice if you're looking for a relaxing place to watch the game. We loved the vibes.

Shorebreak Pizza and TapHouse is everything you would want in a sports bar. The service is quick and the food is amazing. We visited on a Sunday for football and pizza. They offer $8.99 XL pizza specials and the kids enjoyed it. The draft beer list is extensive and the ambiance of the football scores made it fun. I noticed a lot of families and mix of single people. The parking lot is huge and they can accommodate large parties. 100 percent recommended for any sporting event! A ton of TVs and great food, will definitely be going back

I fell in love as soon as I walked in! This a sports fans heaven! TV's line the walls so you never miss the game. Outdoor seating with fire pits and you guessed it, more TV's! The inside is huge and great open layout so you're not crammed on top of people. This was our 1st time here and we're definitely coming back. The staff was welcoming as soon as we walked in. We were seated promptly and our waitress was over in a matter of minutes. She was so patient and kind with my 7 yo who had a million questions! Our food came out quick and it was so goodddddd!!! We did 20 wings half lemon pepper, half old bay and a Pepperoni pizza. It was phenomenal!! Definitely put this place, at the top of your must try list!

After a long day of traveling, I was on the fence about coming here. Their last grade and some of the ratings had me hesitant but I'm so glad we gave it a chance. Immediately upon entering we were warmly greeted and the vibe felt good. We ordered pizza, along with buffalo boneless wings. Our boys got a chocolate shake and the sharknado. They loved them both! I ordered the orange crush which seems to be 'the drink' of VA Beach and it was pretty good. My husband also really enjoyed his IPA. The pizza came out hot and fresh with quality ingredients and the wings were tasty with the right amount of flavor. On the way out, (I'm assuming the manager) thanked us for coming just as nicely as he greeted us. I know that sounds silly but customer service is so lacking these days that it's nice to experience simple appreciation. If you're looking for a great sports bar with great food, look no further. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to the area!

My boyfriend and I finally got the chance to try ShoreBreak and we were amazed. Service was stellar, atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. We were seated at our preferred selection of a booth and quickly brought drinks. My partner tried their special - a spicy strawberry margarita. He said it wasn't that spicy but habaneros aren't spicy to him lol. I got a couple White Claws. Our appetizer was the Bang Bang Shrimp. They were so good and crunchy while being perfectly sauced. For my entree I did the Yellowfin Tuna Sandwich with fries and coleslaw. My tuna was cooked perfectly, the fries were crispy and flavorful, and the coleslaw was sweet and fresh how I like it. My boyfriend got the special, I think it was called the White Truffle Burger. He loved it. It was very visually appealing, as was all the food. Everything just looked super appetizing and yummy. To top it all off, we got two delicious milkshake. I got cookies and cream, and my boyfriend another special, The Orange Oasis creamsicle shake. They were humongous. It really was the cherry on top - I finished my entire milkshake. It was full of tasty Oreo cookies. My partner loved his too. All the while, our lovely waitress was making sure we had drinks and everything else we needed. Hopefully I will be back very soon, maybe for my birthday!! It was one of the best meals I have had in a long time.

Went in on a Saturday evening at 9:30 and was hoping for some tasty dinner. Move to town recently and was looking for some go to spots, especially for a sports bar pizza atmosphere Staff seemed friendly enough, although on their phones and sitting down. Given that it was mostly empty, I didn't blame them. Opted to head to the bar since I was eating dinner solo. Was greeted by three men who were clearly over-served. Sat down and couldn't take the drunkenness. They were served another round while I was there looking over the menu so I decided to get up and leave, not wanting to have to deal with drunken idiots while I ate dinner. Never ordered so can't talk about how good the food is, but please I beg you train your staff better so drunken regulars don't scare away potential future regulars. Won't go back. Too many other good places for dinner in the area.

Celebrated my son's 14th birthday with his friends for an early dinner . We made a 4:30pm reservation . The girl on phone Ophelia was so helpful . She reserved a table near the pool tables for the boys. What fun! The pool table was a hit for the teens . They had burgers and pizza . I had the Greek salad topped with tuna and my hubby had fish tacos . Everything was wonderful . The service was prompt & excellent. The restaurant is stylish and very neat & clean With a variety of TVs playing from all directions , mostly sports. The walls are filled with cool sports decor . The waitresses were friendly. They even brought out my son's cake and all sang "happy birthday" . What a great time. Five stars for sure !

The service and ambience at Shorebreak were just what we were looking for tonight! Allanah was so helpful and pointed us in the direction of ordering the artichoke dip, which was amazing!

we had a large family gathering for my son's graduation. I preordered food and made reservations with Ryan everything went so smooth !!! it was also Father's Day weekend . our waitress was fantastic!!!!! constantly checking on us, water refills, napkins etc and cleaning up dirty plates etc etc even our table was set up with plates menus water pitchers platters for pizzas etc. I also was able to add a veggie platter that they made and they gave us very nice serving bowls with gravy spoons with blue cheese and ranch dips . I was extremely happy impressed for our celebration !!!

It's ok. Good for a quick stop to grab a bite. The pizza is honestly nothing to rave about. But, it's good in a pinch. The staff we interacted with were helpful, especially when I left my bank card there. You can make a reservation, which is always a plus in my book. My burger was cooked perfectly. The pickle was an added bonus. The pizza was not too hot. The pretzel was a crowd pleaser. The dips with it paired well.

We got a kids chicken and cheese quesadilla and a cheeseburger for our kids. The cheeseburger was super dry but extra ketchup made it fine. She got a side Caesar salad and my daughter couldn't eat it. The lettuce was not good. I got mild traditional wings and the skin was super soggy and chewy and the wings were slimy on the inside. I did not eat my meal. They also gave me sour cream on the side and it took about 10 minutes to find someone to get blue cheese. My husband got the Philly and onion rings and those were really good. The spinach and artichoke dip with the pretzel was great! The chips however were very stale. I would be interested to see if the pizza is the go to at this spot because it was really busy so I'm thinking maybe we just ordered the wrong things.

Vibe- holy sports bar. The energy in this place is crazy. There is a bar, tables, pool tables, arcade. Really something for everyone. Host- we called for reservations. Love that they asked what game we wanted to watch. And when we got there they were super accommodating. Food- everything we had was flavorful and big portion sizes. We had pizza, pretzels, cauliflower, green beans, and dranks. The green beans were oddly delicious. Cauliflower crispy and love the flavor options. The pretzel with both mustard and cheese was a nice surprise. And, Pizzas were half price on Sunday, woohoo! Service- Jocelyn was a delight. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Also the good runners and bussers were on it. Drinks- full bar with so many drink options both alcoholic and non. Good times had by all.

Our server Lexi was awesome! Knowledgeable about the menu and was able to give us some great recommendations for some things we would have never tried!

Honestly, if I could give a lower review I would. Besides the food being way overpriced, it was also cold. We went in for wings and every basket had cold wings. The wait staff all seemed friendly and the service was great from our waitress. We did overhear the taller bald manager loudly saying some very, very rude things to one of the waitresses... not very professional or family friendly. There's no soap in the bathrooms, our coasters were literally soggy, and I saw two roaches under our table. You could give it a shot, or you could just go somewhere else. These aren't opinions, these are facts.

I enjoy coming here to just hang out. They have a huge parking area. So plenty to park. I normally come for wings or pizza. It's what I normally eat. The staff is very friendly and will check up on you at a decent rate. Service is not slow at all. They will recommend if ask. It's seem place with pool tables for entertainment or a nice fire pit if you want to hang outside.

The fried oysters are nasty and they burnt my pizza. Wouldn't suggest this restaurant to a dog.

I jumped on open table and came across this gem. We had a party of 5 and everyone loved their food. The green beans were so delicious! An my burger was one of the best! I do recommend making a reservation. It was fairly busy for a Monday. But the food and service made it worth it.

Great pizza, perfect sports bar atmosphere! We came for weekend lunch. You can make reservations on Open Table, which we did, although it wasn't necessary at the time we arrived. We sat at the high tops in the bar area and received great service. The gal who took care of us was training another server and they were both very attentive and nice. Drinks; we got a beer and an orange crush. The beer list isn't updated, which was a little sad and got our hopes up, but the Orange Crush was awesome... one of the better ones I've had so far. Prices are also reasonable and fair. For food, we shared the pub pretzels and the Soprano pizza. No complaints. The pretzels were awesome; served with two very good dipping sauces. I'm typically a cheese sauce person, but their mustard sauce was incredible!! Pizza came out piping hot and flavorful, with lots of toppings. Not sure if other people care about this, but I love when the toppings are well spread out and even, and this one was perfect! We're new to the area and I think we may have already found our regular pizza spot!

We love to get take out pizza from ShoreBreak pizza. Haven't been inside in years, so I can't speak on that. Their pizza is the best in the area to me. Consistency, swiftness and quality define the food.

Arcade, pool tables, good food, great drinks, good music, great staff, affordable prices. I will be back.

Good time, service was great and came to watch the US Mens National Team play (soccer) - of note this is the official spot where they show the game. They also put the audio on and it was awesome. Didn't have any of the food, already had eaten, but looking at the pizza it looks good. Lots of TVs and decent selection of beers, just wish there were more micro brews on tap/bottle available. But overall it was a good experience, I'll be back and probably try the food but this will be the spot for watching the Women's World Cup as well! If you're a soccer fan this is your spot for national team games and tournaments.

Food was great letting us sit outside instead of inside which would of been a longer wait and staff was most accommodating to our needs and wants

We had such a great experience tonight! We had the baja fish tacos blackened, a double smash burger and we did a build your own burger. It was all so delicious!! The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. We had fun watching the game and man oh man Tony was great with the magic!! I'm still trying to figure out his tricks lol. Our server Makiah was wonderful, she was on top of everything. She kept our drinks refilled and made sure we had everything we needed. Her outgoing personality was a plus too!! Such a fun place to go and watch the game, we'll definitely be heading back soon!

I did an online order. It took a little while for them to come outside for curbside delivery. When the worker came outside she did apologize for the wait because it was busy. She was courteous and very pleasant. I would definitely order again when I come back to town.​

I was really hoping this one would work out. My husband is from IL and we've been looking around for a good deep dish. I've been going to ShoreBreak for years so I recommend it, but it has gone downhill. Nearly $30 for burnt pizza with canned mushrooms and basically flavorless pizza. Go for a drink, but don't bother with the food. Just took a star for the passive aggressive "I can't believe you have time to post a negative review, most people don't have that time," from the manager. Awful. FYI we threw away 3/4 of the pizza because it was so burnt it was dry and hard the next day.
