My first visit. Really friendly and respectful service. Plus, helpful. The food was very good too. I had a Ramen with gyozas and it was very hot and very tasty and very filling. Clean toilets too. I’d go back. Recommended.

Visited Shoryu Ramen in Shoreditch and left with mixed feelings. I ordered the ramen and was disappointed to find only three small, fatty pieces of pork—definitely not what’s shown in their promotional photos. It felt like there was plenty of noodles and carbs and low on protein, which made it feel underwhelming. I also tried the chicken karaage, which was much better—crispy, tasty, and a more reasonable portion size. The 40% discount made it more affordable, and honestly, I wouldn’t have gone without it. Service was efficient, and my food arrived in about 15 minutes, which was a plus. Not terrible, but not somewhere I’d rush back to at full price.

Shoryu Tonkotsu tastes amazingly good. The broth is soo yummy. And that's not the £1 more expensive Kotteri Hakata Tonkotsu. It was the original, £1 cheaper Shoryu Ganso Tonkotsu which is their signature dish. The slowly braise pork belly (3 slices) was soo soft but tasty. The egg too. I don't really like the red ginger. And the noodles themselves are quite plain. But that is very common. Good service too. Very quick, food was out in less than 5 mins (I was alone, ordering only 1 dish). And friendly. The place is not big, about 30 seats. I've eaten Tonkotsu in many places and many cities. This one is good like 8 out of 10. Woukd I eat there again? Definitely.

4 stars on the tonkotsu broth. 3 stars on the noodles and ingredients. They offered choices on the firmness of the noodles, I like my "very hard", but it came out soggy. The broth was pretty good though, finished every slurp. This is the first jap ramen shop I've tried in London, so nothing to compare it with. Overall, still satisfying.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. As soon as you walk in you're welcomed into the restaurant by staff and the smell of Ramen hits your nostrils. The restaurant is quite big and it was extremely full when I went which was a weekday evening. This place is popular so make sure you book a table a few days before. I ordered a Taraka Tan Tan Tonkotsu Ramen which was sublime. I ate it slowly so I could savour the taste. The spicy chicken karage bun was so good that I had to order another so I had four buns. This restaurant is amazing, the staff are lovely and attentive. You'll have a lovely time here 😊

I had the vegan one (non spicy) with added tamago (egg) and kimchi. The soup itself was a bit too salty but tasted good and the kimchi didn’t taste right. Nice staff. Overall I found it too expensive for its worth.

Very delicious and refreshing iced tea and relaxing atmosphere. You need to buy food if you want a drink, but there are light tasty snacks (such as the broccoli) so that is ok.
