Visited Shoryu Ramen in Shoreditch and left with mixed feelings. I ordered the ramen and was disappointed to find only three small, fatty pieces of pork—definitely not what’s shown in their promotional photos. It felt like there was plenty of noodles and carbs and low on protein, which made it feel underwhelming.
I also tried the chicken karaage, which was much better—crispy, tasty, and a more reasonable portion size.
The 40% discount made it more affordable, and honestly, I wouldn’t have gone without it. Service was efficient, and my food arrived in about 15 minutes, which was a plus.
Not terrible, but not somewhere I’d rush back to at full price.
