Go to Branson, Missouri, for the Dinner Theater, Stay for the Real Show | Eater

"A large paddle-wheel dinner cruise that seats roughly 700 guests for twice-daily variety shows and three-course meals aboard a diesel-electric vessel; the production features singers, a magician host, a Christian segment and a patriotic finale, and offers scenic deck views of Table Rock Lake. The onboard policy is alcohol-free, premium seating promises upgraded protein options, the chargrilled steak was singled out as notably good, but window views can induce motion sickness for some guests and the dessert received mixed reviews." - Amy McCarthy

This was a fun experience. The show was great. They made us laugh the whole time they had a band. As for our waiter we could’ve had better. He did forget a lot. We seen other waitresses and waiters doing a great job. The food was ok but we had regular tickets and if you can get VIP tickets, I think you get better food. We seen fireworks. I think this is something that everyone should visit. Make sure you buy your tickets ahead of time. It does sell out fast.

The Wife and I went with another Couple on a Dinner Cruise when We were on vacation Together. We all had a great time. I'm glad We went during the Sunset. Say a few different shows that They have. The Musicians and Singers /Performers were Awesome. At the final performance They did a Collage of like 28 songs in like 12 minutes. Amazing! We would definitely go on this Ship if ever back in the area.

Google
Beautiful experience, the cruise was smooth with no turbulence. Being able to be on the top of the boat was very nice. The food was yummy but the steak was a little off. Because of my kids age I had to pay an adult price even though she still ordered kids food. But overall it was enjoyable. The waitress was a little too eager for a tip.

Google
Dinner was great. Waiter was wonderful and attentive. Evening cruise was relaxing. Got to spend ample time on deck. Comedian was good. Audience participation. The actual singing/ dancing show... not so good. Gift shop on land waiting to enter boat had a special, buy 2 Tervis type cups for $25 which gives free refills there at the gift shop and on the boat. Surprise, drinks are included on the boat. (Tea, coffee and soft drinks.) Should not have fallen for the special.

What a great show, dinner and experience. The entertainers were absolutely incredible. Service was excellent. Food was great. Definitely recommend.

Google
Fantastic experience! My wife and I purchased captains club tickets so we got seated centre view with I'd say the best view in the house. We also arrived 20min early and were first in line. We got drinks served straight away and got to see some of the boat. Since it was a Sunday cruise in July - we got a fireworks show too and upfront rail viewing. Highly recommend!

Google
I was WOW’d!! The service, food, and entertainment were spectacular! How they can feed so many people so quickly speaks to their efficiency. My favorite part of the trip were the singers and dancers; such talent and so much energy. Top that off with a very funny and interactive host and you have a top notch show! Well worth the time and money.

My dad and I went to the Showboat Branson Belle and had a fantastic time! From the moment we stepped on board, everything was well-organized and welcoming. The dinner was delicious, the service was friendly, and the show was top-notch. The performers were incredibly talented, and the variety of music, comedy, and entertainment kept us engaged the entire time. The views from the boat as we cruised the lake made the experience even more special. It was a great outing to share together, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Branson. A fun, memorable night!

Yelp
We enjoyed the Branson Belle Showboat. Today was the second time in 4 years that we've went on the Branson Belle Showboat for a dinner and show. We opted for Captain's Club seating this time which put us on the second floor in the row facing the stage head-on. It was a really good location with a perfect stage view, comfortable seats and not as crammed in as the main floor seating. The food portions seemed larger and there were dessert choices. Our server had a smaller number of patrons, so he was by often. We enjoyed the food and ended up taking over half our food home. They provide to-go containers but you're not allowed to bring in coolers or soft-sided bags. I did have a plastic bag in my pocket that we were able to put our to-go containers into. Then in the truck, I had a soft-sided cooler with cold packs all ready. The show was great. There were 13 performers in total (including the Magician/Comedian/MC guy and 3 musicians). Video was not allowed but I snapped a number of still photos with my phone. They didn't turn out great as I needed to zoom in for the shots, but it's good enough for a memory. Between dinner and entertainment, I walked around the 2nd floor outside deck and took pictures of the lake and landmarks on shore. I assume it's allowed as there were people smoking outside on the decks. There were bathrooms at the front of the boat on all 3 levels. There's a large gift shop with lots of Branson Belle, Table Rock Lake branded souvenirs, drinkware, apparel etc. The parking lot was very large with plenty of spaces for all guests. From the parking lot to the boat, the grounds are lush and beautifully decorated. I got plenty of shots of all that as well. Near the box office are several gift/apparel/souvenir stores and the box office - plus restrooms. To get from the box office / stores area, onto the boat, you walk down a ramp. Wheelchairs and walkers can use this ramp and there are wheelchairs available for those that may need one. As for dinner and sho pricing, here's what I captured: General Seating: $71 Adult (12+) / $44 Children (4-11) *Captain's Club: $101 Adult / $64 Children * Captain's Club includes: - Priority Boarding (shorter line - like a fast pass) - Premium View Seating - Chef's Menu Selections I don't anticipate coming back to the Belle in the future but I'm happy we've go to her twice.

Yelp
This was fun! Well worth the cost. We arrived JUST as they were about to push off so we barely made it onto the boat (running late with a baby) but we made it! Our waiter and service was wonderful and the food was actually very good. The main entree of chicken and pot roast was delicious and the mashed potatoes and green beans were good too. Dessert gooey butter cake was decent but not spectacular - but, overall, the food was better than we expected and the entertainment, gift shop, and wandering around the boat as we cruised around Table Rock Lake was cool. I enjoyed the brief video they showed about the history of the dam and creation of the lake in the area - I learned things I definitely did not know prior to that. Only con would be that it's billed for two-hours but we returned to the dock at 5:20 and left at 4:00 and then just sat for the last 39 minutes of the performance. I would have preferred we spent more time on the lake - returning 40 minutes prior seemed a bit much.

Yelp
It's a fun family experience, the magic show is awesome, the view is awesome the weather was nice. Bathroom is clean. But a big draw is the dinner experience. The servers are trying but still are somehow slow. I just think they have too many guests per server. They should have 1 row per server instead of 2. There's pretty long durations of time where guests are super low or empty drinks. When you arrive at the boat they also do group photos, when they brought the photos there were people in it with their eyes closed. Why would you deliver that as the paid image to the client ? You didn't make sure the photos were good before telling the group to finish posing? The food itself is kinda mediocre. Really bland, just not really impressive. Aside from that the boat is awesome, it's really good for little kids and families. Just maybe eat before you come here.

Yelp
My expectations for the show part of the cruise were far exceeded. I thought the show was going to be average at best but t was surprisingly good. The host was actually really funny and the singers and dancers very talented. The food wasn't amazing but it was good. Service was positive as well. The cruise itself was enjoyable. The views were pretty and there was a live band on the deck to enjoy for a little bit. There is a gift store on board as well as one on outside.

Justin W.

Yelp
If you're 60+, it will be great. If not, you better pre-game with drinks prior. No booze on board, food sucked, no WiFi, show is meant for... the older demographic. You tutal quickly around a lake. Show was eh. The "magic show" was a rope loop.

Mike G.

Yelp
Excellent dinner with a superb server named Samantha!!! She was amazing! The show too follow dinner was also great! Highly recommend!

Chuck L.

Yelp
This was our first time on the Showboat. It was a beautiful boat; I lsurprised at how many people it can hold. The show was really good having music and dancing and magic. I love classic rock but that part of the show was just ok. The country music and magic were awesome. I would have given a higher rating but the dinner was terrible. The meat in the meal was really dry. But even with that said I would still recommend the Showboat. It was a good time and they give you time to look around the boat.

Yelp
My husband and I attended the lunch cruise and show. The boat was beautiful and well kept. The staff were all super friendly and polite. The food and dessert served was delicious! The wait staff was attentive and quick. Our waitress Crystal was so sweet! The only down side was the seating. The regular seats are super close together so I would highly recommend paying the extra for the Captain's Club seats. My husband is a bigger size man and it was quite snug in the regular seats. Although we made quick friends with our neighbors and very much ended getting to know them. The show itself was fantastic!! There was magic, comedy, singing, dancing, tap, ballet and so much more. It was fun and exciting! Music variety for everyone! So glad we got the chance to experience the Branson Belle Showboat. We'll be back to try the dinner cruise!

Raquel G.

Yelp
Highly recommend this attraction if visiting Branson. The entertainment was on point and dinner delicious with large portions.

Virginia Y.

Yelp
Great staff, incredibly talented performers, delicious food! I cannot believe how they can serve good hot food to that many people. Amazing! We really enjoyed the cruise and highly recommend! The only negative was a photographer with a nasty attitude. We had no problem last year taking a cellphone photo for the group along with the professional photo. This year our tour leader was yelled at by the photographer and it was not allowed. Just a note: Our photo would have actually been posted on our social media and website to promote the cruise. We never saw the photo she took because she did not come around to show us. Yes, we could have probably found in the store but not after our experience with her.

Yelp
The boarding process was simple, easy, and quick! The boat itself was beautiful inside and out. It felt as if you were on an old timey boat sailing away, although i was disappointed in the fact that the show never made it outside and that it was all inside. You do get free 45 minutes to roam around as you'd like before the main show starts. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and educational to gluten free needs! He made sure my meal was safe without worry & i even got a yummy gluten free dessert!

Cate M.

Yelp
You are on a lake, so it doesn't do much! The food is also exactly what you expect with group seating The show is about Busch Gardens quality ( maybe) and then they come out for the finale with Christian and gospel songs!! SO inappropriate for public entertainment and YOUR PAYING FOR IT! not inclusive, not diverse, offensive for those who practice other faiths

Yelp
Here Today! Oh my God, GREAT TIME! I can't say any of Branson Missouri shows are bad, I can't even compare who's the best in show! I must say tho Showboat Brandon Belle had me dying laughing and choking on my food for not paying attention to what I was eating or they had my full attention. Ok look, the MC was a hoot! Lawd Jeeeezus! Great MC, u hear me. Ok so he opens the show with a game where u can't say yes, repeat the question ( see the screen on my pic for the rest). I usually don't insert myself in my passengers games, catch the bouquets at weddings, you know nothing, it's not about me ask for freebies ect because I'm the driver right? Ok well this day as the game began NOOO one raised their hands to participate in this game. The 1st person went and it was fun and a funny hilarious game to c. I hadn't worn my name tag in 4 whole days, 4 days mind u. Ok so since no one hadn't raised their hands to play, shoots I did and was chosen. The game was easy, don't repeat the question, don't say yes, no basically answer the question in a complete sentence. I took myself up there ready you hear me...ready! the prize was a souvenir cup. That dude got me on the first question ONLY because I wore that dorn name tag hahahahaha!!Oh haaaahaaa lmao! Gosh I haven't laughed so hard AT MYSELF like that in such a long time. Another game was, it wasn't a game but a magic trick idk but mind blowing. A lady on the stage had to think of a name of someone from her high school, her best friend I believe. She wrote the name on an index card, he gave 4 more cards to other ppl to write random names on. This man guessed the name written the card by the lady card AFTER eliminating the other 4 cards. The name on the card the lady wrote was MARGARETTA exactly spelled the same exact way! The entertainment of about 8 -10 ppl dancing, singing ect was awesome. They saluted veterans in the dance and singing routines and also a spiritual song praising and thanking God for who he was. Never Never has any show in Branson or anywhere ever added acknowledgment in their shows to these important individuals. One of show the best shows and entertainment while eating I've seen BRANSON MISSOURI has some of the most undiscovered talent the World has to offer. The food was good too!! Here Today There Tomorrow!!

Yelp
We really enjoyed our time on this the food was good. The entertainment was very good. Would definitely recommend it for traveler to Branson.

Yelp
It's a little after 11:00PM, but whenever I have an experience as AWESOME as tonight, I'm inclined to stay up late and start typing while the thoughts are still fresh in my mind (and before I procrastinate and forget, ha). We had an amazing experience tonight on the Showboat Branson Belle. We splurged and paid extra for the Captain Club Seating and I'm so glad we did- it was well worth the extra money. The view was great and the extra service (Tommy) was exceptional. The food was delicious. We had the ribeye steak, potatoes and green beans. The steak was a thinner cut, but tender and super flavorful. The portions were all large. The cheesecake for dessert was also exceptional. But the BEST part of the night... was the show! The only word I can think of to describe the singers and dancers is... INCREDIBLE. This was our first time attending and we honestly didn't know what to expect. I thought maybe 1 or 2 decent but cheesy singers would sing, but oh boy, was I wrong! I'd guesstimate they sang lyrics from at least 50 different songs from classic rock to country to Christian to patriotic. I also love that they took time to acknowledge my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. That's rare these days. The entire experience by far exceeded our expectations and I'm so glad we attended. I would highly recommend the Showboat Branson Belle to anyone wanting to make a special memory and looking for a fun, clean night of entertainment. 10 out of 10.

Kelli F.

Yelp
I did not expect the entertainment to be so good. Singers, dancers & band did a great job. The food & waiter were wonderful. The cruise itself was fun. My family very much enjoyed it. They work very hard to entertain us!!! I LOVE that they sing about the USA and god. Branson is a Christian based community. It's not all about your complaints and money. If you dont believe in God, you probably shouldn't attend this show!

Yelp
Best show I have experienced to date. Great music, skits, comedy. Crowd was very engaged and it was super interactive. The scenic view was gorgeous and the boat complimented the waters. The food was pretty good too I do wish the tables weren't to close together. But I do think you can upgrade your seat? I sat on the first level. But every view in the house seems great! I know the first level was (three level auditorium).

Belynda H.

Yelp
Everything was Excellent! Entertainment and Food! (You don't always get both) Christopher James is a fun Emcee and the singers were Fantastic! The waitstaff was very efficient and Jennifer was super helpful with our 'needy family member' :) Bathrooms are really clean. We didn't spend money at shop. Would we recommend this adventure while in Branson! YES

Sheryl Y.

Yelp
This show was very entertaining. The singers and dancers all very talented people. Although this is a variety show and not a play, and the dancing can be a little cheesy, from my experience their abilities were on scale with Broadway performers. Surprisingly, the food was excellent for a show like this, so I disagree with some of the reviews. None of your dry chicken like at some other dining shows, and you get two main dishes, not one! We were served succulent pot roast and juicy chicken with wonderful mashed potatoes and green beans. The salad dressing was light and innovative. You get any and all beverages you want, and includes dessert.

Cindy W.

Yelp
Came to the Showboat Branson Belle with a family member and a friend. We enjoyed our time. The weather was perfect as was the excursion. The musical performers, the very talented host and the outstanding staff all played their role that contributed to a memorable outing. I would definitely recommend and hope to come back when coming to Branson. We picked the Captains choice for meals which gave us a choice of entrees: fish, beef, chicken or pork. The salad was fresh accompanied by a roll. You also had choice of non- alcoholic beverages... coke products, tea, water, coffee or milk. To name a few. In addition you had a choice of desserts. Overall, the experience was very good and the food was plentiful.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this Great show Good service Great facility Really pretty Good food Better show than most in Branson

Yelp
Our family loved the Branson Belle. Great entertainment. Comical relief with Christmas songs including great choreography. Food was very comforting and kids ate everything with no complaints. Service was top notch. The views of table rock from the boat at sunset were stunning. Family fun for all!

Yelp
We took our 7 year old granddaughter for the 4:00pm show and had a great time! The food was pretty good and the dancers and singers were awesome! We would highly recommend!

Jessica N.

Yelp
The performance was clean and enjoyable, and the food was surprisingly good for being mass-prepared on a riverboat!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely amazing show, I loved every bit of it and it is absolutely worth your money! With the general package deal you get a chicken and beef dinner with the already included show that combines three major acts: A game show type opening, the main singing and dancing show, and a magic performance grand finale. All the performers did an amazing job and included the audience in every act, I cannot wait to see what the future holds for their growing career! The food was pretty good, nothing too crazy to brag about but definitely filling that's for sure and the waiters and waitresses did an amazing job tending to your needs. ALSO, big shout out to Kevin our waiter, my drink was never empty at any time and our table clear, he deserves a raise or at least a bonus for his job well done!

Yelp
My wife & I came to be entertained in this Showboat Theater and Dining. It was a very enjoyable time. Our server was very helpful and the food was good but a bit too salty. The show was entertaining and enjoyed the versatility of the singers, especially the two ladies. The magician was funny and entertaining as well. The only complaint is that the seating was very packed as sardines. It is once in a lifetime visit.

H E.

Yelp
Very American. Entertainment was okay, food was drenched in butter and the upgrades weren't really worth it

Yelp
A dinner cruise at sunset on Table Rock lake? Sounds good to me! This was my second time on the Branson Belle- both times I chose the cruise that would coincide with sunset.(8pm) Loved being on the top deck looking out over the lake after the sun went down. It was so relaxing. I actually skipped part of the show so I could enjoy the view on the top deck. :) If you want to do dinner but singing and dancing aren't your thing, head to the top deck to have a peaceful boat ride and enjoy the twinkling lights around Branson. Something to keep in mind when getting to the showboat -GPS sent us to the wrong parking lot (and we weren't the only ones!). Make sure you actually see the sign for the showboat before turning off the main road. A three course dinner is included with the price of your ticket. The seating inside of the dining hall is super tight... hardly any room to move, but it's doable. If you're vegetarian make sure to mention it to your server before dinner. The vegetarian dinner consisted of salad, an Italian entree (red sauce, pasta, cheese filling), and desert. (It's nice that they have meal options when booking your ticket.) Also, the show changed quite a bit since the last time I was here, and now is a journey through many decades and the hit songs. The singers/dancers went through MANY outfit changes. There were a lot of people in the crowd singing along to many of the songs. The dancers had SO much energy. Amazed they do these shows more than 7 times a week! There was also a magic type show at one point and the random people selected from the crowd made that part of the show so entertaining!

Yelp
This is a 3-for-1 experience. A lake cruise + lunch/dinner + show. It is very well organized. The quality of the food and show are less than the other top shows in town but still I'd say a little above average. A little on the pricey side for what you get considering it's only two hours but overall if you want to get out on the water and eat and be entertained, it's the best if not only option in town. Note that as is the case with most dinner shows in Branson, salad is your only option if you're a vegetarian. Definitely recommended if you want an easy all-inclusive excursion out on the lake.

Yelp
The food was ok,we had pot roast and a chicken breast with sauce, mashed potatoes and green beans with a roll and gooey butter cake(the rolls and dessert were supposedly from Silver Dollar City),the roll was good, the cake was way too sweet(not good),and I didn't like the chicken everything else was good though. The show was not good!! It was a magician for a few minutes here and there and the rest of the time it was singing songs from hits from the past and they weren't very good!! It was definitely overpriced!! The band on the upper deck played for a little while and they were good. The waitress was really good and was really the only plus on this trip. Don't waste your money or time on this!! We won't be doing this again!

Yelp
All Aboard.......This was our second visit to the "Belle", once in 2016 and now 7 years later in '23. We enjoyed it with a group of RV travelers back in '16. This time we traveled to Branson by ourselves and are enjoying the journey. The Showboat IS a must see this attraction. We enjoyed the show in '16 but this time was even more enjoyable! The food was tasty and filling. Salad, 1/4 chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, and brisket. You can't miss with this meal. Dessert was later on and was cheesecake with coffee or tea. The meal is served while the ship was stationary. I assume this is done on purpose so folks who might get seasick from movement won't have a problem. BTW, the movement of the boat is not even noticeable until you look out the windows and see trees and land moving on by. During the dinner there was a movie presentation of the history of Branson and naturally Table Rock Lake and the creation of the Branson Belle Showboat. One has to wonder how a boat this large got into this land locked lake. Watch this presentation and you will learn how this the fourth largest boat in US history was built right here on TRL. Once underway, you can wander around the ship for some Kodak moments, shop in the gift shop, or just sit and enjoy the view. This part of the trip is earmarked for about 30+ minutes. The bathroom (mens) facilities were immaculate and adaquate number . My wife says they could use a few more bathrooms for the women. When you return to your seat, you arrive to a waiting piece of cheesecake and are served coffee (which was very good). At this point the show really starts, Chris James who is billed as the Magician/Emcee was there in '16 and is still performing and entertaining. Great personality and he engages the audience on stage. The singers, dancers and musicians are all first rate. The musical selections that were chosen should be pretty well known by all. Ranging from early and mid rock history to movie theme songs. To enjoy this venue earmark about 3 to 3-1/2 hours from arrival to final departing. I just want to add that this in response to an earlier (three or four back in time) negative review. This is a US Coast Guard approved vessel and YES, weather does affect getting and staying underway. We started out with a partly sunny day and it was known that a storm would be passing through the area at some point. The boat left the dock and cruised for 45 minutes and then turned back to the dock due to the approaching storm. This is done for YOURS and everyone's safety. This is not done to capitalize on saving money by shortening the trip. The entire staff, cast and operation staff need to be there regardless of sailing or being underway. The cost of fuel is minimal compared to the whole cost of the operation. I think it was admiral (pun intended) to refund some of the ticket cost to that unhappy person. Time well spent! Enjoy, we will defiantly be back!

Yelp
My wife and I are not "show people" when we have gone to Vegas so, when we came to Branson, we were not looking to go to any shows. I booked this outing because we wanted to cruise the lake and take in a hood meal. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were notified that it was too windy to sail so we would remain docked. We were given a $10 cash refund per ticket, but I was disappointed we wouldn't get to cruise. I even considered just leaving. I'm so glad we stayed! I had booked the more expensive tickets so we got to board sooner than everyone. They had no problem scanning my tickets on my phone. Once aboard they took our picture then they directed us to our seats. The theater is beautiful! The balcony seats we had were very good. The service was impeccable (Jesse) and the food was really good. The turtle cheesecake was outbid this world. I never understood why people wanted to go to shows while on vacation. I get it now. We were blown away by the cast of singers, dancers, musicians, and magician/emcee. I highly recommend anyone visiting Branson to visit the Showboat Branson Belle. I saw people of all ages and everyone seemed to be entertained.

Yelp
Run by Silver Dollar City, this is another attraction that's successful in spite of itself. First, ordering tickets online was only slightly confusing. And I prefer to have my tickets handled so I DON'T have to wait in line. We opted for the Captain's Club and I'm SO glad we did! We got early boarding, which was nice given the fact even though we had our tickets we still had to visit the box office (which was the SAME line as the general "board the boat" line, so extra confusing) and pick up paper tickets (isn't the point of online to also cut down on paper use?) and our seat assignments. C'mon guys... Theaters can assign seats as part of the checkout process online... is this really necessary? So we waited in one line, to be put in another line, to wait in a 3rd line to finally board. It seems like they're not interested in making the customer experience incredible from the get-go... especially considering we'd already spent about $200 for this experience. They take your photo upon boarding, which was fine, though I was talking right in the middle of it and they only snap one, so needless to say my face looked a little like and I wasn't impressed enough to pay another $20 (or whatever amount it was) for it... Then they route you through their gift shop (kudos to them on doing THAT right!) which the marketer in me appreciated. Then finding the bathrooms was the next adventure... and once found (yeah, I walked right past it on my way up the stairs... my bad) they looked like they were in desperate need of an upgrade. Now for the fun bits & why I gave this review 4 stars instead of 3... The Emcee was ... corny ... as Emcees usually are. The show was actually REALLY REALLY good. I don't know what I expected (a bunch of country music?) but it wasn't that. It was super fun, we were singing along and the vocalists were fairly rockstar... One gal in particular practically sounded like she should be working for Disney. The food was great (steak had a little gristle, but admittedly I'm a steak snob, so there's that) and they had no issues handling my gluten allergy. The boat was beautiful... I'm so glad we did the sunset 8pm tour and that they let us wander around before the main show. And our waitress was incredible! Overall... very fun experience! Would I do it again? Probably not, as it's now a bucketlist item checked off. Would I recommend it? Absolutely!

Yelp
This was my first time on the Showboat. I had the best time. The show was good, the gluten free options were delicious. Konner was our waiter and we never had to wait for refills! He was fantastic. Great job!

After reading some reviews- I didn't have my expectations too high. However- our family's night was amazing!!! Tons of parking available. Once you arrive, go to the box office to pick up your boarding ticket and your assigned seat tickets. We hung out, played checkers until it was time to board. Our tickets were for 8pm, boarding started at 7pm. No real rush bc seats are already assigned. We went onto the boat, everyone has their pics taken with the steering wheel (think cruise ship) and found our seats. Our server greeted us, asked for drink orders (they have Coke products, water, sweet and unsweet tea). Super sweet young lady. She explained what to expect throughout the evening. People confined to file in, get seated. MC was a magician/comedian and was hysterical! Salad and rolls were served. One down side- kids were served last. :( Dinner was good. I'm fact our picky eater daughter really enjoyed it too! Two chicken pieces, pot roast, green beans and delicious mashed potatoes. MC kept us entertained on on our toes! After dinner, everyone's given a 45 min intermission to explore the boat. They had oversized checkers, corn hole, plenty of chairs to sit inside or outside. They had a small band playing/singing a few sets on one of the decks. Really great atmosphere around. Back to the dining area for the singing/dancing. There was a variety of talent among the entertainers. Our kids loved the tap dancers!! They sang tons of songs - I'd say 80s heavy but tbh I love 80s music!! They had a super fun set called 26 - they sang mash ups of 26 songs from movies! So much fun!! We also loved the faith and country aspect toward the end of the evening. Definitely would recommend!!

Yelp
Fantastic. We came here for the boat and show, and did not have high expectations on food. But, the food was great. We had upgraded to get steaks, and they were very good. Even the side dishes were flavorful. The boat is HUGE - safe, and well planned. The acts included song, dance, magician and a kind of "game show" where audience members were "interviewed" for short periods in a hilarious format. There were ten of us. Purchase tickets together if you want to sit together. We did, and it was great.

Yelp
Great food, great show. A little disappointed as the wind was too strong for us to leave dock, so be sure to go on a day with little to no wind. This day it was exceeding 30MPH. Now on to the good stuff. The food was great. We up-classes and I think it was worth it. The waiter was great but I do think they assigned too many people to the same waiter. Only delay was drink refills. The entertainment was great. Comedy, magic, and music. They end the show with some "Amazing Grace" and a great salute to veterans. It made my wife cry.

Yelp
LaLaLaLaLOVED IT! So if they tell you to show up SUPER early, I wouldn't. You'll have plenty of time to board and get settled before it all starts BUT... In my opinion this is a must-see! Comedian opener Christopher James has great "good clean fun" type jokes, very family friendly. I would even bring my parents lol. Our server Jesse was fabulous, personable and attentive! Food was amazing! I don't even like chicken that much but it was SO moist and tender!!! Pot roast was a teensy bit dry but it had a gravy so it was fine, flavors were all really great and the butter cake... omg. Performers were incredible with a few that were real powerhouse vocalists! Costume design was fun, choreography was great and harmonies were tight. Loved the classic rock selection and really enjoyed the emphasis on God and country at the end of the show. Just wish the rest of the crowd would have gotten more into it, but then again it was a Thursday night I guess lol probably past their bedtimes

Yelp
It was nice to get a good meal that didn't include french fries and BBQ sauce. The boat is super nice and huge. It was a very smooth ride and we enjoyed being able to explore the boat between dinner and the show. I wish the show was a bit longer. The cruise was nice and smooth. It was a bit uneasy when you first started moving but once you got used to it, it was very nice and the cruise returns about 30 mins before the show ends which seems to help you "stabilize" before your departure and you aren't feeling the rocking of the boat when you get off. All in all loved the food and service and the entertainment.

Yelp
Giving 5 , not counting off for rain and not pulling out at beginning. We happened to be on one of the front rows, right up front. These are the standard tickets and regular meal. I am so happy we didn't upgrade. The meal is not the highlight by far. Grandson would not touch his. He ate the roll only. After meal they brought dessert but took away any extra drinks. So during show you had nothing to drink. Now the preshow music was good. The main show was really good with great music and comedy. The man talking between, got alittle old. But if you ask my grandson, he will tell you the man comedy was the best part. The overall experience was good for all ages and families.

Yelp
The food was absolutely atrocious. The ribeye was 95% fat and inedible, the green beans were out of a can. The potatoes and roll were the only edible items. I would have gladly paid the same price just for the cruise and show. Everyone in our party had to purchase dinner after leaving the boat because we were all hungry! The show was fantastic and made up for the food.

Yelp
Great show but the food wasn't good at all. Both steaks were inedible due to grisles and fat.

Yelp
My family and I visited Branson in July for summer vacation; our main purpose was to visit Silver Dollar City. We ended up scheduling the Branson Belle as an addition and it was well worth it. The cruise was amazing and there was entertainment for everyone, young and old, regardless of ethnicity. We truly enjoyed and would be interested to visit again.

Yelp
Such a fun dinner cruise! We sat in the captains area, little more costly but worth it. The talent in the performers (big voices)/. The 26 movie themed songs in 9 minutes... Epic!

Yelp
Showboat Branson Belle dinner cruise thos afternoon. Parking was no problem as long as you weren't behind an octogenarian who is oblivious which way and direction they want to go in the parking lot. Check in requires a bar code the guy can scan and phones aren't his favorite. Print your tickets or he slows the line down severely. Seating is 3 levels, all seats on this boat are good so don't buy front row like I did. Food was resembling a civic center dinner award ceremony without major flair until dessert arrives right before the show starts. Nothing special and I probably could have eaten more but why when you aren't hungry. The ice breaking activity involving the audience was entertaining and the performance was above par with musical rock anthems and the magic acts. Overall, a nice time cruising the lake on the Showboat Branson Belle.

Yelp
Did the Captain's Club Lunch show. Melissa was our server and she was the best. Made sure that my food met the dietary restrictions that I have due to allergies. Both the chicken and the ribeye were good. The caramel pecan cheesecake was yummy. The show was funny and entertaining. The singing and dancing was good. Would definitely recommend when you come to Branson! They do try to sell you the expensive pictures that they take as you're boarding the boat. They're not pushy but still not really a fan of that.

Yelp
There is no handicap access to get onboard and no help once onboard. Food is marginal even with upgraded tickets. Would definitely not recommend

Yelp
In August my boyfriend and I went to Branson Missouri for vacation. While there we were looking for things to do and I saw the Showboat Branson Belle dinner cruise. I booked the cruise and selected the Captain's Club menu and we were seated on the first tier. Amazing seats as we were right in the middle of the viewing stage. We selected from the menu a Ribeye and Chicken Breast. It's a little bit more expensive the the general seating but well worth it. The show was very entertaining and it happened to be most of the songs were from the 80's so I was singing along. It was such a smooth ride, I didn't even realize that we were moving. After we ate our dinner there was an intermission so you were about to walk around and tour the boat and the scenery. It happened to be extremely hot that day, so my boyfriend didn't stay outside long. It was very enjoyable and highly recommended and kid friendly.

Yelp
Ohmygosh this show was really bad. One of the sections was songs from the 80's, which is an era we love, but it wasn't good. There is a female singer who shouts her songs - it's painful. The female tap dancers were meh. The show was campy. The best part was Christopher James, the emcee/magician. He was quite funny during the middle of the show with the two audience members and they were quite funny too. My 84 year old aunt thinks the audience members were planted, had rehearsed their roles. Either way, they were all funny together. We purchased captain's table tickets and had excellent seats. Our server was Melissa and she was amazing. Friendly, quick service. She checked on us through the whole evening. We all enjoyed our food although it was quite salty. And dessert was ok. The end of the show was a surprise - and not a good one. It was religious and patriotic and just wow.
