"Siam Marina serves “solid” Thai and Asian fusion cuisine out in Tinley Park. Vettel visits the four-year-old restaurant and finds a “massive” amount of choices. Sticking to the “signature” dishes yields options like the To Die For pork shank in a coconut broth, as well as a riff on crab cakes made with minced fish and panko. Curries are “rich and fragrant” while Siam Beef Lover features “very good” marinated tenderloin and stir-fried vegetables in a complex sauce of soy, oyster sauce, chile and a touch of brandy.” Desserts star a “total indulgence” two-layer chocolate cake that’s covered in Godiva white-chocolate sauce. Awesome authentic food. Not an item on the menu we tried and didn’t like. They have excellent service and a fun atmosphere. Someone in our party had a gluten allergy and they were very understanding and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Google
Ample parking. Top notch service, presentation of dishes is immaculate; food leaves nothing to be desired. This has me and my mothers go to Thai restaurant for over 20 years, you won’t be disappointed. Please try the duck 🤗

This was my first visit with family, and everything was amazing from the food/drink to the ambiance. I’ll definitely be returning!

This place is gorgeous inside!! You wouldn’t even guess it from the exterior. Was recommended by plenty people about this place. This Dinner was on a Thursday night we were probably the 4th table. Upon entry there was no greeting or anyone. Had to walk to bar to get seated. Once we sat, had to wait awhile for the waitress as she was bartending as well. Ordered drinks, took about 20 minutes for what we ordered. However the Wasabi martini was Delicious! Our Appetizers were avocado egg rolls, which tasted like mushy old avocado paired with a SUPER sweet chili sauce. next were the chicken skewers also served with that sweet sauce. You can even tell from the picture they’re a little raw. It Took awhile for the waitress to even come back after dropping off apps, once we got her attention we sent them back to the kitchen, and ordered our entrees. I didn’t take pictures because I sent it back right away 😭😭 my husband ordered lo mein noodles and I ordered the thai spicy noodles they had. I forgot the names. Once this plate reached our table, we still haven’t received our skewers back from the kitchen, the smell hit my face and it was almost like boiled eggs or something. I even tasted it just to see if it was me, but it was horrible. The seasonings were too overwhelming. My husbands plate was good. My plate was just horrible. All in all, the wasabi martini is great. The chicken skewers could’ve been better if they were cooked all the way through the first time. But It’s boring ordering different things off of a menu and they all come with the same sauce. Rolls were just too mushy for our liking. And after the slooow servici for everything, don’t think we’ll be coming back. Beautiful decor though!

Google
Every single thing was an A+ in flavor and experience. We had such a fun time trying everything and I wish I could have ordered everything on the menu to try! The dessert drinks were my favorites and you 100% need to get the fish cakes! I still dream about them weeks later

Google
Came across this place on accident. The restaurant of choice was closed on Mondays. Looked for an alternative, and here we are! This was better than where i intended to go! The food was well prepared, well presented and so flavorful! Prices was reasonable and we enjoyed our meal. I will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. 👍🏽

Google
The food here is about as good as it gets. Tonight I had the drunken noodles spicy hot, and it was very hot. Tasted great! Friendly wait staff, the place is very tastefully decorated. It is certainly an upscale restaurant.

Google
I had the Thai fried rice with rib eye added, it was delicious and seasoned well. For an appetizer I had the crab and cream cheese crispy rolls which were so good I almost ordered a second plate..lol. The service was great as well as the ambiance overall a great experience.

Yelp
Food Service Ambience Go for lunch or dinner to sit in the dining room, spacious bar area, or patio. The servers and chef crew are polite, responsive, and just amazing. The food is fresh, seasoned well, and served in huge portions. Can't wait to visit again!

Jay Z.

Yelp
Only because you cannot give 0 stars! I cannot comment on the latest food quality but the service is non-existent. We had a reservation but arrived to a mostly empty dining room. We were seated right away and then waited for our server. And waited. And waited. No one came to greet us and the hostess dropped water glasses off at our table. We did see servers in the dining room but no one paid us a moment of attention. One server was chatting up a table of women next to us for at least 15 mins and never looked at us. Another came out of the kitchen with a tray of food while chewing so I think she was eating while gathering an order to be served. After what felt like an eternity of waiting, we got up and left without ever talking to a server. Having enjoyed some great meals there in the past, this was a truly sad experience.

Yelp
We went with friends from Thailand to treat them for dinner. They really enjoyed the food especially the Pad see ewe and the amazing pineapple rice. The service was excellent as always. We look forward to going back soon.

Cindy N.

Yelp
Laid back atmosphere and amazing food. I could drink the sauce from the Duo Cargot! A must try and repeat.

Ava W.

Yelp
Ring the bell again it is a TKO! There is nothing about this restaurant that you won't love. It is beautiful and modern on the inside and the culinary dishes are flavorful, fresh and crave worthy. Today I worked late so I ordered and picked my order up to go. It was ready when I arrived and the customer service was friendly. I had their seafood crispy egg rolls, the pho shrimp soup with a 48 hour marinade broth that gave my tastebuds a natural high and the tender Asian Bangkok ribs. Everything was delicious and rated 10 out of 10.

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Went one week and returned the next. It was that good! I feel like I have been let in on a secret. I have passed many times and a friend suggested we go. So glad we did! There are many varieties of Thai rolls and lists of seafood and non options for all. We had the asparagus and bacon rolls. Very good and crispy plus bacon so there! I had the chicken with the peanut sauce very tasty. My friends had something of the Red Sea I think?! Which they both loved. Full of mussels and such. I snagged a bite and it was good. Drinks are also good and they offer specialty cocktails. Desserts on display as soon as you walk in so you know if you need to save room. Inside is nice, has a small bar and bar area with a nicely decorated dining room. Very cozy. Waiter was nice as well.

Ariel S.

Yelp
The outside seating area was lovely! I got the Thai Egg Rolls to start and they were so good, especially right out of the kitchen. For my main course, I went with the Garlic Chicken Stir-fry and it was also tasty. I do think it's interesting that they don't allow substitutions for the side of white rice though. And my Raspberry iced tea was honestly a little too sweet, so I watered it down with my water. To be honest, the service is what brought my rating down the most. My waiter was open with me that he was new, but I felt like the other waitstaff should've provided more support. There was an extended period where I paused eating because I was out of both my water and iced tea and ended up asking a waitress from another table for more. And then it still took a while... they were friendly, but I don't think that's the best way to train the future of your restaurant.

Tool W.

Yelp
Food was ok this time just not what I remembered pre covid. Service looked good around us but our server acted like she was doing us a favor.

Michelle M.

Yelp
It was fine. The food was just okay. The service was lacking. I'm aware there weren't very many servers, however, it was just us and one other table. I was there with my bestie and we were doing Christmas and catching up on all the things so... it was fine. Just definitely could've use a LITTLE more attention. The bathroom was pretty clean and there is a lot for parking.

Margaret H.

Yelp
Best bartender number one. Great server and service. The food is delish. We got the "roll me out crispy platter" chicken tempura, and peasants chicken satay. All delicious and clean, comfortable atmosphere. We will be back!

Joneice B.

Yelp
This place is so amazing. Came here for a baby shower for work. It did not disappoint. So ecstatic by all of the custom cocktails that went with every order. We started out with the Oakbrook martini which had a hint of green tea and mojito so delicious. To accompany our Oakbrook martini we had an egg roll which was also fabulous. Moving on to the next event we had a coconut soup with vegetables, which was very flavourful. For the next course we had the main course, which was mango short rib with mashed potatoes. Let me tell you the short rib was so tender and so Exquisite I didn't know what to do. I ate that whole darn plate because I did not want to leave anything. Throughout the evening we had tons of custom drinks including an espresso martini which was to die for. Also their red blend wine was Smith and Hook which is so tasty. For dessert we had this chocolate eggroll. It was good however I need it more. So I ordered the vanilla cheesecake and the hummingbird cake to go. Icing on top of the cake, the head chef came out talk to our work party. She also was delightful because she talked about her recipes and how the restaurant started. This place is a gem check it out!!!

Angela P.

Yelp
Such delicious food! I love the atmosphere and beautiful decor Delicious drinks! I will keep coming back Best Thai food

Ginger K.

Yelp
I live right down the street from here and never stopped before today. We tried 3 different items off the menu and each were really good! The chicken tempura was my favorite! I had a lot of questions since this was our first time. The young lady was so patient with me and did not get annoyed with me. We will be back! Next time I will probably dine in. The ambience is really nice!

Kristen B.

Yelp
This used to be a favorite place but food quality and service have really changed. Sunday night 7pm and it wasn't crowded. Took quite some time for server to approach our table and bar turnaround was very slow. Only 2 mixed drinks. Appetizers were ok - shared 2 different ones. Ordered lemongrass beef as an appetizer (previous fav) but was delivered with the entrees and we were charged for an entree. On top of it all it wasn't very good - very tough.,Everything was so slow. Not sure if it was our server or the kitchen? We couldn't decipher which dish was which out of 4 with different entrees. Spice was one of the only differentiating factors. The chef even came out when we questioned what we ordered vs what we got. Really disappointing. Server was indifferent and checked out. Won't be going back.

Gerald J.

Yelp
Went by here on a recommendation from a friend. Atmosphere is very nice.. service was very good as well. Food was just OK to me. Order a few things but nothing stood out other then the Pineapple Upside Down Martini!! Was incredibly good! The drink menu has a very large variety and also a large selection of wines. Didn't get pics of the food but I would give the place another chance just because of atmosphere and the drinks.

Shonita A.

Yelp
My cousin and I visited this place, and I tell you, the food was absolutely delectable. Everything we ordered was simply delicious. We arrived at the restaurant at 3 o'clock in the afternoon and, after having great conversation and a bunch of laughs while feasting, we ended up staying until about 9 o'clock. The ambience was so pleasant. The customer service was amazing. I definitely recommend this place. BTW, we enjoyed Thai Chicken Eggrolls, Thai Sassy Hot Wings, Red Snapper Deluxe, and ended the night with some yummy Hummingbird Cake. The serving sizes are sure to satisfy.

Fredrick W.

Yelp
Went with our group last night eight of us to this beautiful little restaurant on Oak Park Avenue my wife and I shared this Tammy's creation which included an 8 ounce lobster tail shrimp galore like asparagus peapods it was just terrific slightly sweet, but pretty spicy almost too spicy But it was so different and there was enough to bring a third of it home huge meal served with white rice. The rest of our group had everything from beef with vegetables too salmon covered with vegetables. Everybody thought their meals were terrific and we will go back again soon, we topped it off with an apple crumble dessert which had four kinds of nuts in it and my wife proclaims. It was the best dessert she ever had is an easy five star.

Yelp
Siam Marina has a warm & welcome ambiance. It is decorated with traditional contemporary settings. Siam Marina is one of my favorite restaurants for Martinis. They have an extensive list to choose from. The Tamarind, Green Tea & Ginger Cucumber martinis were so refreshing!! The menu has plenty of delicious selections.. I ordered my all time favorite Red Snapper. All the dishes were beautifully plated & delicious as always. The service & hospitality are always delightful. Highly recommend Siam Marina if you are looking for an amazing dining experience.

Camille R.

Yelp
Great drinks, plenty of martinis for your selection and the appetizer and food is tasteful.

Padma A.

Yelp
We were looking for some place nice for a working lunch on a rainy day. Loved the ambiance and the chef had various news articles and awards on the walls. We ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls, chick pho, duck red curry and bread pudding. Nothing was impressive, really subpar taste or I had rather high expectations looking at the fancy place. We should have ordered their popular dish fried rice but maybe next time. It's really 31/2 stars for me. Our server David was very polite and patient.

Tony N.

Yelp
This is probably one of the best restaurant's I've been to. We have been here 4 times for birthdays, anniversaries, etc. They have a great bar with fantastic specialty cocktails. The food is always on point and I have loved everything I've tried. The prices are pretty expensive, so it's more of a special occasion place to visit, but highly recommend it.

Lisa A.

Yelp
Cordell our server was absolutely amazing. He knows the menu so well, made great recommendations. We asked him to tell us his likes and dislikes on the food, he was very honest, but never had anything negative to say. I have not one bad word about the whole experience. I will 100% be back, highly recommend!

Jeff M.

Yelp
What an absolute disappointment! We're from out of town and thought it would be a great place for Valentine's Day. Boy, were we wrong. The service was slow and when the food finally came one of our entrees was missing and it never showed up. The crab and cream cheese rolls were gross! Utter garbage! If people around here think this is good Thai then they don't know what good Thai is.

Wendy D.

Yelp
High quality food, pretty ambiance & consistent customer service. This is my go to for Thai grub.

Honey T.

Yelp
Service was great, the bartenders and waiters were all very professional and friendly. Their drinks are to die for, with so many options I am definitely coming back for more. The bartender was super funny too, entertained my family and me the whole night. As for the food, we ordered a variety of dishes. Sadly, I only got pictures of these two as they were so good that I completely forgot to take more . I highly recommend the spring roll sampler platter. The dishes were all super huge, so you know that it's worth it for the price. We still had a bunch of left overs for the next day and we had about 5 people in our group with 5 dishes ordered. We got to talk to the chef about her story, upbringing and her passion for the food-- it definitely show. I will be coming back!

Nannette S.

Yelp
This is a high end restaurant and feels like it should be downtown on the Gold Coast area!! Food is Absolutely delicious and fresh with no MSG. The drink menu is the Best! This place is absolutely Beautiful inside and very Elegant! The service was Excellent! Money well spent! If your cheap this is not the place for you.

Jane O.

Yelp
Yum! Yum! Yum! The crispy creamy crab cream cheese rolls were delicious. The beef pho was outstanding and flavorful. The Suon Nuong (pork tenderloin) hit every taste bud. The ambiance was welcoming and relaxing and contemporary. The service was par for Southeast Asian restaurants. Don't be in a hurry. Enjoy your meal Even the bathroom was clean and thoughtfully designed. Every table has fresh flowers. Everything seems to be intentionally pointed to providing a great customer experience.

David S.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, nice cocktail menu, good people! Appetizers are phenomenal! Tammy does a great job!

Edward T.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner and a few drinks. Everyone is very friendly and there's never a lack of options. Food was hot and plentiful but tasted a bit different than a previous visit (not as spicy and the sauce was markedly thinner). Overall a nice getaway from big box restaurants for an early date night. We will definitely return and do recommend this family owned and operated restaurant.

Megan G.

Yelp
Great meal and service. We had the 5 spiced duck, salmon, pad sei ew, and pepper beef. Started with Thai egg rolls and escargot. Cocktails were strong. Great vibe. Good date night spot. Sufficiently spicy too.

kalifa s.

Yelp
I did not like this Thai restaurant at all! The food was below mid at best. I gave them a second try, and still a big no. No more!!!!

Faye S.

Yelp
Food was great waiter was nice we had 3 different meals that was still shareable and shareable noodle & rice .. the waiter was very helpful on choosing a drink

Aisha A.

Yelp
Food was really good however I ordered a chicken dish however I was served beef and when I mentioned that to the waitress she said, "Oh I thought you said beef." And that was it. I feel like she could've done more however the food was good even though it wasn't what I ordered lol.

ak a.

Yelp
Excellent service (John was the best!). Better than most of the Thai/Chinese restaurants in Chicago proper. Large portions to share. Try a few! Pad thai with chicken and sesame chicken with veggies was excellent-very flavorful, well made, good chef's attention to culinary detail (size of chicken bites, vegetable prep, sauces). Sauces are on point and light but abundant and flavorful. Vegetables crisp and well presented. Cucumber salad was a great start. Jasmine tea was a bit bitter. Will go back to try more dishes and appetizers. They advertise jazz to go with their focus on martinis.

B G.

Yelp
This place is highly disappointing and too expensive for Chinese food. Food is greasy, salty and lacks flavor. Martinis suck. Watered down. I ordered a lychee and it was basically Malibu on the rocks for $14. Ambiance is just okay but feels cheap like eating at IKEA. Dollar store plastic flowers and candles on the tables. Crumbs on the floor and sticky dirty benches along the windows. Owner should really take her the headshots of herself down. It's very tacky and she looks full of herself. Waitress didn't arrive at my table to take my food order for 40 minutes. My water was never refilled ever and the waitress never came to check on me. I had to bring my overpriced bill to the host stand to pay as the waitress never showed up again. Sign says fine dining and a martini bar but you'd get better fried rice the Panda Express in the orland park mall.

Bill M.

Yelp
We hosted a fifty-fifth anniversary party last night, and everything was handled beautifully! A couple people brought extras - no problem. The food was delicious and served impeccably. The server was never ruffled despite our and our guests' silliness and odd requests. The manager went out of his way to keep us comfortable and personalized the music (Dance Me to the End of Love) and presented us with a book of the poem with Matisse illustrations. It was a wonderful evening filled with everything we could have asked.

Brandon T.

Yelp
Went here for date night and they' disappoint. From the appetizers to the entrees to the multiple rounds of drinks, everything was on point. The catfish curry was so good . Me and the bae will definitely be back

Vince D.

Yelp
Better than average Thai food. These folks have been around for quite a while. The service is professional. And the restaurant itself is nice and clean. I will be making another trip back and see if I can add a star.

Scott H.

Yelp
Great place and great food. Awesome sit down location. Descent service. Cakes were dry. Cakes need to be purchased from somewhere else.

erica m.

Yelp
We came in on a Friday night. My wife and I ordered a couple drinks. The mexjito and the sailor Maitai. They were both delicious. Then to start we tried the avocado crispy rolls and a small calamari and wow they were both cooked to perfection. The calamari was prefectly cooked. The the main event I ordered the seafood noodles and wow! So much seafood and all cooked prefectly. My wife had the chicken pad Thai and it was some of the best pad Thai she's ever had. The staff was amazing and attentive the vibe was amazing.. overall a fantastic experience and can't wait to go back and try some of their other items that looked good.

Gillian W.

Yelp
Oh my... the food was fabulous!!! You should come with people you love because they will KNOW you love them. I had the sea bass and the chef kissed that sauce.

Jordyn N.

Yelp
First time coming, we split the crispy chicken rolls, crispy crab & cream cheese rolls, chicken pad thai, and mango short ribs amongst three people. Presentation of the rolls were great, but we thought they were fairly bland and wouldn't order either again. The pad thai didn't disappoint, fresh ingredients, nice flavor profile + proportion. The mango short ribs were delicious, and a great quality of meat with the exception of one... very fatty short rib with no meat at all. Given that the short ribs were $35, I did feel a bit shorted (pun fully intended)... I also think rice would've paired better than the mashed potatoes they offer. Ambiance was great, open space and well lit. Service was great up until the end. We were asked how the meal was and we let our server know that overall everything was good, but were disappointed by the short rib. Her response was something like , "Oh yea I can see that, but at least it was good right? Anything else?" and that answer just wasn't good enough for me. All in all, a nice experience, but not sure that it's worth the money (compared to my go to spots).

Kathy M.

Yelp
Wonderful vegetarian and gluten-free options. Love the Thai Spring Rolls and the Monk Curry (tofu and vegetables) was absolutely Delicious! Highly recommend.

Christine K.

Yelp
Food is pretty good, but awfully pricey. Huge selection of martinis. Service is good.

Barb L.

Yelp
I often invite friends to this lovely restaurant because the food is unique and the service is top notch! They offer an interesting combination of Asian foods including Vietnamese egg rolls, curry, fried rice and Thai specialties. Many of their dishes are sweet and spicy. But don't skip the short ribs and the Gran Marnier beef--both are melt in your mouth tender with a delicious sauce. If you're into martinis they have a wide selection. Try Siam Marina if you're looking for a change of pace!

David M.

Yelp
Amazing flavors and attentive service! I just ate there with my wife for our third anniversary. Our expectations were high since this was our first date night in almost three years! We left the kids behind and were excited for a fancy meal. The decor was comfortable and clean. Smart casual is the stated dress code but we didn't feel out of place dressed up with a shirt and tie and my wife in a dress. The wait staff was friendly and professional, respecting our conversations but our server was always there right when we needed her. The food was truly spectacular. Each dish showcased bright colors, alluring smells, and exciting flavors. The only difficulty that we had with the menus was narrowing down what to try! Oh and the martini and cocktail menu were just as pleasantly tempting. We shared two appetizers: the Shrimp Skewers and Pork Meatballs. The shrimp was cooked firmly and stuck to the skewers but the sauce was tantalizing. The pork meatballs were very well made and were served with a similar sauce as the shrimp. We also tried the Basil Caipirinha and the Moscow Island Mule; both delicious. The drinks are about $13 each but very smooth and deceptively strong! For our entrees we ordered the Asparagus Lover's with Shrimp and Scallops and the Siam Beef Lover (with steak tenderloin.) The entrees were even better than the appetizers and truly worth every penny. The seafood dish was hot and saucy with generous portions of both shrimp and scallops. The beef dish had a good proportion of beef and veggies all tender and glistening in a mouth watering umami sauce. With the mains, my wife had the Mai Tai and I enjoyed the Sailor's Mai Tai - both smooth and delicious. For dessert I had the Hummingbird Cake with a Coconut Martini and my wife was in heaven with the Tiramisu and the Godiva Chocolate Lover's Martini. Both desserts and drinks were sweet but not too sweet and the perfect end to an exciting meal. If I have to say anything negative it would be this: When I made the reservation I did note that this was an anniversary dinner and even though it wasn't exactly packed while we were there, nobody mentioned the anniversary or wished us well. Also we saw Chef Tammy walking through the restaurant and even though we were one of three tables at the time, she didn't stop to check on us. Overall, this was a fun meal at a very nice place that we are eager to visit again. Based on the menu, there are enough dishes and drinks to keep us coming for 3-4 more visits before we repeated anything. You've got to try Siam Marina! ( of course we forgot to take pics until it was too late!)

Tracey F.

Yelp
This was my second visit, so obviously I liked it enough to come back. This time it was myself and two kids (8 and 12) and we had a reservation. We were promptly seated. And then ignored. For 25 minutes. I went up to the host once to let them know. Nothing. We watched 3 servers standing in the corner talking. We left after 30 minutes. When I told the host why, I got a 'oh sorry about that'. Very disappointed.

D T.

Yelp
So glad we finally made it to Siam Marina. It was a pleasant experience off the bat. When I called them to make an inquiry they were so friendly on the phone. Went on Friday evening and was a nice atmosphere.I only wish it was enough weather to sit outside. Also wish they still had live music like it says on sign out front. Excellent and attentive wait staff. Ari did a great job. What took it over the top for is was Cordell. He is amazing and such as asset to the management team. So personable. We ordered the appetizer platter for $38 which includes most or all - a nice variety of the crispy rolls. I had had the pad Thai because it's one of my staples I had to check out to see if they make it good. They do make it well. It was tasty. Very large portion so I have plenty of leftovers. We will definitely be back and we see greet for large groups too. Made us very happy that we finally came to this gem in Tinley.

Yelp
Fancy but normal not authentic server don't wear mask, bad bad ..........................................zz
