"The celebrated Sichuan chain from Southern California opened its first Seattle location in October, featuring popular items such as toothpick lamb with cumin, mung bean jelly noodles drenched in chilis, and a cold spring onion chicken in pepper sauce that Eater LA has praised for its “citrusy-grassy numb taste that deepens with each bite.”" - Gabe Guarente

"This Redmond restaurant is a great place to go with a group. For starters, diners should get an order or two of steamed or fried dumplings. For more carbs, there are the chewy bean thread noodles with clinging pieces of pork, which give the dish its “ants on the tree” name. Finally, all-you-can-eat Sichuan-style hot pots are a real indulgence, featuring lamb or a combination of beef and pork." - Jay Friedman

I like this place for the following reason 1. The place is clean and well lit 2. The staff is friendly and attentive 3. The portion is good. I ordered fried rice and it’s good for two people 4. I like the Sichuan chili flavor infused in the dishes. I highly recommend this place.

Went for the set lunch menu that comes with choice of hot and sour or egg drop soup. Portions are generous. However, the food is too salty, and doesn't really taste authentic Szechuan. Clean environment, decent ambience and friendly staff. Ample and easy parking. Convenient location. A decent place if you want a quick lunch on a work day, but not if want a nice authentic Chinese meal.

Authentic and solid sichuanese food experience. We got the sichuanese hot chidken, mongolian beef and hot garlic chicken as entrees. There were great. The Singapore fried rice with chicken and shrimp was good but had a very heavy curry flavor (maybe by design). Reasonable prices and good portions. Would recommend this to anyone looking for this kind of food that has not been toned down for American taste buds.

You can order by scanning the QR code from the table or with the server. Family style eggplant with pork was good but I prefer minced pork with this dish instead of pieces of pork and this dish comes out very hot so becareful not to burn your mouth. Chengdu noodles was ok, not that flavorful. Sichuan chili fried chicken was good but could use a bit more seasoning. I had to ask for chili oil because all of the dishes were not seasoned enough. Extra charge for rice.

I’d give this place a 3.5 star rating. The Sichuan flavors are there but lacking something especially when I compare this food to the places I’ve tried in NY. We tried 5 dishes. Chicken & veggie dumplings - 4/5 Mapo tofu - 4/5 Spicy fried chicken - 2.5/5 Eggplant with garlic sauce - 4.5/5 Beef and broccoli - 3.5/5 I was really disappointed with the spicy fried chicken. It wasn’t spicy and almost just tasted like plain breaded chicken. They used a lot of dried chili peppers but didn’t see any fresh peppers used, wondering if that’s why the chicken tasted bland. On top of that, the chicken was very dry and most of the pieces were so hard it felt like a wrong bite could chip my teeth. I loved the eggplant and tofu dishes. The kids enjoyed the dumplings (I did as well). The beef and broccoli dish was just OK. I’ll try this place again to see if the fried chicken tastes better when dining in.

Loved this place and the food. We ordered the sichuan boiled fish, Mongolian chicken and the fried rice. Loved all the dishes. The place is clean and the staff is nice. Definitely recommend.

Went with extended family and friends and ordered a medley of items to share family style. Attached photo shows a little of most things, which was plenty for a group of six, with some leftovers to take home. I had roughly three times what is shown here over seven dishes, plus beef fried rice. All was shared between the six of us. In addition to the more exclusive items, many other dish options allow for a dinner that's as Americanized or as Traditional as you'd like. Walnut shrimp, black pepper and salt fish, Mongolian beef, and others are available for those who prefer it. Schezwanese focused items with Schezwan peppercorns were my favorite, but not so much for those not familiar to it. That said, it was exactly what it should be! The 'heat' is very different, a bit floral, and will linger for a while. If you're not used to the numbing spice of Schezwan peppercorns, give it a try, but be prepared! DO ask for more spice or heat if you want it. The chef was awesome in cranking things up a notch for me, and even told me later that most people don't care for spice that's too strong. I have a feeling some reviewers expecting super spicy foods and didn't get them, never truly asked - remember that here in WA, it's more likely people will complain more if they 'think' a food is too spicy! It's also always easier to add spice and heat than to remove it. I always ask for 5/5 or 'Indian spicy', depending on the restaurant, to get the heat I want. Good heat levels across the board. I asked for some chili oil and pepper to add to my dishes and the wait staff was very kind and generous in providing it, so I could add it to the foods that others didn't want spicy. Great tofu, eggplant, and noodle options, according to my vegetarian company that went with me. Ask waiter about substitutions and what can be removed to make dishes vegetarian. Atmosphere may be a bit lacking, but I personally prefer it this way. It's much quieter as a result and the need to talk over music or others isn't nearly as bad. I rated it a bit lower only because most others prefer some level of ambiance.

This is NOT authentic Sichuan Food. I’m sure the cook doesn’t know how to cook proper Chinese food. All the dishes are extremely salty. Tasted weird. It’s spicy but really off. Just not the right type of spicy for Sichuan Food. The Chongqing Chicken (辣子鸡)tasted extremely odd and salty. The Boiling Beef (水煮牛)tasted soooo salty that it’s a little bit bitter.

Yelp
Have been coming for my Chinese fix here for the past few years and grabbed dinner here last night. Went for my usual fried rice, cumin lamb, and fried chicken. Tried the Ravioli Soup for the first time, and it was nice. Lamb was so nicely cooked, we took Feid chicken to go, and it was not that great. Maybe it would have been better right off of the pan! Service and food come fast.

Yang C.

Yelp
I have to say it's just a mediocre sichuan restaurant. The beans are my favorite. The appetizer probably been in fridge for too long, it has somewhat fridge taste. The beef is really tender but the flavor is not quite right. Everyone has different tastes. For me, it tastes just average, but others may think it tastes good.

Lisa J.

Yelp
I would give this food 1 star, service was like 3 (he asked me what I want to eat and then handed me food 5 mins later and then gave me a check while I was still eating..), and location is 3 stars. This used to be in a different location so they moved around the corner to a newer shopping plaza so it was clean inside. I got the lunch special mapo tofu. It was like $10, very reasonable price. It came with rice and soup. The egg drop soup was super bland and just tasted like corn though and barely any egg in it. The mapo tofu was... disappointing. It had no flavor, just spicy chili oil taste. It was so spicy that I couldn't feel my tongue. It's like they just dumped spice on it. Overall, I probably wouldn't come back to eat here unless I wanted to try something different.

Gagan G.

Yelp
The food overall is very spicy and tangy! Definitely recommend for people who like to spend 10 mins on the toilet right after eating. Overall the food was delicious especially the dry chicken with beans and the pepper duck. We also ordered the Mapu tofu w pork and it was also delicious, not as good as previous ones I've had but still great. They provide complementary tea and fortune cookies. True very spicy sichuan food!

Yelp
This is a staple of ours while in the area. VERY popular with the south Asian tech core workers so lunch time is busy. Parking pretty good even with five guys next door. I usually order my regular twice cooked pork. It was great this time with really good sauce, not too much leeks, and service quick and friendly as usual. The hot and sour soup is a little too sour and unnecessarily spiced in my opinion. But many Chinese restaurants do great stir fry dishes with bad hot and sour and vice versa! Not a deal killer to keep me going back at times. The fried rice is as exciting as a usual lunch special serving..... They also do green beans and noodles pretty good too.

Gary Y.

Yelp
Food is okay tasting here - what I liked about it was the quick service and reasonably well priced menu items. Expect a no frills experience if you are looking to grab a quick lunch. Portion size is pretty good as well so you'll likely have leftovers if you order a couple of dishes. Don't think I'd come here out of the way but I can see how this can be a neighborhood staple if you lived nearby.

Yelp
Good service Good food ! Love your Mongolian Beef & Spicy Beef Chow Mein - Very tasty

Krith K.

Yelp
Our go to Chinese place for many years. Chilli oil is the best one. Very quick service too

Mike P.

Yelp
I was here again - for Sichuan food in the area I do like their food, I think the Sichuan dishes could have more peppercorns but overall a very solid menu and good flavors. I am a fan of their web-based ordering for takeout, easy and fast everything that it should be. You cannot enter in special instructions which would be nice.

Sally L.

Yelp
Very spacious restaurant! Seated right away. Very speedy and fast service! Food was just okay.

Brenda L.

Yelp
Great place for sichuanese food! My personal favorite here is the Mongolian tofu. Reasonable price too. I order takeout / doordash from this place a good amount. The restaurant itself is clean and spacious, and generally you don't have to wait for a table. They aren't too crowded (I think many people order takeout from here) so it's nice, as you can stay as long as you want without feeling rushed.

Rahul K.

Yelp
For me - best spicy chow mein ever. Service is busy but I don't much care for service here - it's the food. And come on - a nice basic look with no ambience but focus on the food. Yeah!

Yelp
Lots of customers come for the weekday lunch combo that runs from 11 AM - 3 PM. For a price of $8.95 to $9.95, you can get a plentiful serving of a meat dish accompanied with either steamed rice or fried rice plus egg drop soup or hot & sour soup. The Twice Cook Pork (回锅肉) was no longer listed on the physical menu but I was still able to order it. The pork was thinly sliced and flavorful. The fried rice was scarce in the mix-ins of egg and vegetables. Complimentary tea is served too. I also ordered the following to-go to bring home and all were quite tasty: - Sichuanese Boiled Fish (水煮鱼) ($17.95) - Pork w/ Bittermelon (苦瓜肉丝) ($12.95) - Pork Intestine w/ Jalapeno (尖椒肥肠) ($14.95) The new Redmond location is spacious and has ample parking spaces. The staff was friendly and tried their best to be attentive. It was peak weekday lunch hour with two large parties, so service had some confusion but they were apologetic about it.

Yelp
Came in on a Sunday around 7pm. There was no wait. Service was fine. We ordered mapo tofu, string beans, and dried chili fried chicken. Flavor profiles were just totally off for all 3 dishes. We left a ton of leftovers at the table and didn't finish the dishes because they were just plain bad. We get Chinese food most Sundays, and there are plenty of other places that are much better in the area. You're far better off at Dan Gui.

Matt G.

Yelp
Recommend coming for the lunch special, it's reasonably priced around $15 including drink which is inexpensive compared to other restaurants. Also the food is great with ample portions.

Yuri T.

Yelp
This place blows my mind every time I order. We have never dined in, so I can't speak on it. Take out has been perfect every time. We love the spicy crispy chicken, eggplants, and the beef chow mein. Everything is so good. So good and so hungry I forgot to take pictures of everything. Just my plate half devoured.

Jboogie L.

Yelp
The fish and vegetable dish was pretty good. We did take out and would go back to try other foods.

Agustin M.

Yelp
Pros: flavor is decent , lunch special is probably best to go Con: too much veggies less meat ( veggie : Meat ) ratio Final verdict: close to be Spicy city redmond replacement? No , not yet

DeeJay C.

Yelp
Always enjoyed the food here. Used to go every week when I used to work close by. Every now and then I still swing by. Food taste just as good. Boiled fish, crispy chicken are among my favorite.

Frank L.

Yelp
Ok, generally this place is a 3.5 Star for me, it has its ups and its down at times. However, this one particular day, this lunch size Spicy Beef Chow Mien was on point. - Super good value for LUNCH menu - Super hot (temperature) - Beef was tender - Noodles were perfect - Perfect portion (LUNCH) These 5 attributes existing all at the same time will always = 5 Stars for me. This review was based solely on this one dish + lunch menu + 5 attributes, on JUST THIS DAY =) Will definitely come back more for lunch hoping for the same experience, please hit ALL 5 attributes!

Shelly S.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, friendly service and food was good. If you like spicy food you may want to ask for extra peppers. Food come out fast ...

Kelli B.

Yelp
Breaded chicken dish was easily over half chunks of fried batter - no chicken. Vegetable fried rice had a few peas and a small amount of cabbage. Not planning to order from here again.

John G.

Yelp
Mongolian beef tends to be consistently good. The chili fried chicken is better to share than have it alone, it's good at first but halfway into the portion you realize that's too dry and not enjoyable anymore. You can also ask for less chili. The fried fish was good.

Abhinav S.

Yelp
I've seen this place a couple of times any time I visited Marshall's, finally tried it during their lunch time. Food - I got the Mandarin Spicy Chicken, with egg flower soup. The portion was generous. The best thing for me was the texture of the chicken. I know Chinese places usually tenderize the chicken, but this one was just amazing. It had a smooth inner coating to the meat as well. However they make it, I hope they stick to this process. The flavor of the entree was good. I wish the spice level was a bit higher. Perhaps next time I'll ask explicitly to increase the heat. I assumed the "Spicy" in Mandarin Spicy Chicken would constitute it to be spicy be default, but clearly not. The egg flower soup was good as well. The tea was just like any other tea, although I wish it was a bit stronger. It did feel a bit watered down. Price - Prices are very decent. Lunch special prices especially are great, you get an entree, soup, tea, all around 10 bucks. Service - Service is just like any other asian restaurant, in that you get the bare minimum service and check-ins, which is fine. The food came out quite fast. Parking - Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant, and also the giant parking lot of Marshall's which it shares with. Looking forward to trying out their other lunch special items, and probably even their dinner items in the future.

Yelp
Post covid world and the prices haven't gone up crazily!! Whew! One of our fave spots to get spicy hot chicken (addicting!) and hot beef chow mein! We want to venture and try something else but can't get away from the tried and true. The mapo tofu is the kind that's mouth numbing in case that's your flavor! In house dining feels like bigger portions than take-out however.

Michael X.

Yelp
So after eating at Sichuan Cuisine 5 times now, I can say with confidence that this place is amazing! Not sure what all the other negative reviews are talking about, but the service here is fast and efficient, and the food is consistently delicious! I was able to try a wide range of dishes over the course of the past couple of weeks, and every visit resulted in satisfaction! From their tofu, meat, vegetable, and appetizer dishes - they were all scrumptious. The good thing about this restaurant is that the dishes are not too spicy - being that you can still taste the delicious flavors the dish has to offer. That is one thing I value - consistency, if a restaurant isn't consistent - that just leaves uncertainty every time you visit, and Sichuan Cuisine has been pretty consistent thus far! On average, we would spend about $50 - $75 for dishes between three people (depending on how hungry we were). This a good price if you are looking for variety, and the opportunity to try dishes between friends, I would definitely recommend you come to Sichuan Cuisine and try their delicious dishes! This place has continuously slapped for every visit.

J L.

Yelp
Was good for 3-4 takeout orders over the last few months and then last Friday (5/17) whoever was the chef added zero seasoning (msg/salt) to our boiled beef, and our cilantro chicken was way too salty, like double the amount of salt, rendering the dish inedible. Either the chef was having a bad day and made a mistake, or was angry that we didn't tip on a take out order. Either way this is very unacceptable for a $60 order (3 dishes). These are probably 2 of the most common dishes cooked in this restaurant, so it's hard to believe this was a mistake. Anyhow, I had high hopes for this place but given this recent mishap I probably won't be back.

Michlle P.

Yelp
Been wanting to try this place for some time as I've always driven past and love Szechuan food, however, it was so bland. It just taste like salt and chili oil, no aromatics :( Beef Chow Mein: flavorless Sichuan Chili Fried Chicken: flavorless with lots of breading Mandarin Spicy Chicken: The most somewhat decent out everything we order but soggier than cereal left in milk A 16 year old chef from Panda Express cooks better than this place

Jeffrey D.

Yelp
The food was pretty typical Chinese fare. It wasn't too expensive and portions were plentiful - we paid about $12 each among six people. Servers were nice and space was clean.

Jon L.

Yelp
This place is a gem. Western Washington rarely lacks food options, but for Chinese food it seems to suffer worst. Enter Sichuan cuisine! The problem is solved. This place is amazing! They use Jet woks so the food is done in minutes, service is always spot on and friendly, and the food is amazing! Definitely try - Mongolian Beef & Chili fried chicken These are two staples we get every single time. Also the Thai Tea is realllllly good here. The dry spicy string beans are great, the garlic broccoli is great. The Dan Dan noodles are super solid too. Every time we come we try a new dish and have yet to ever be disappointed. Not sure what the other reviewers experienced, this place is tops.

Surya R.

Yelp
Good amount of vegetarian options with great taste and quantity but imnot a great fan of the ma po tofu here.

Kat N.

Yelp
First time to restaurant. Came with a friend around 6pm. We were seated right away. Sichuan fried chicken - very crispy and full of flavor. Looks very spicy but it's only a little bit Tea smoked duck - delicious! Tender and tasty Salt and pepper shrimp - it was okay. Not what I expected. Usually it's fried with the shell and seasoned with salt/pepper Eggplant with garlic sauce - typical My friend picked the first 2 dishes and I picked the last 2 dishes mentioned -- rookie mistake. Should always go with recommendations from the locals. Overall great food and good service.

Rachel F.

Yelp
A good option for a weekday meal. Ordered through DoorDash today. A reasonable price.

Ammara T.

Yelp
Came back here after so many years and was surprised by the new modern location (located right next to AmazonGo groceries). We came here on a weekday for lunch around 2pm and the place wasn't as busy so perfect time to go if you're wanting to avoid a crowd. The food was fresh and delicous and we really enjoyed it! Our server greeted us at the beggining and we actually got water and tea which is something you usually need to beg them for haha. We ordered the shrimp fried rice, spicy pepper fish and their chown mein all spicy and they were great. Plenty of parking right outside and clean and great location with wonderful modern touches inside and the tables are spaced out well. The staff was also wearing masks.

Jesena M.

Yelp
We were excited when they moved to the new location and the restaurant is really nice inside. Service is also fast and friendly, parking is plenty outside. Unfortunately, we weren't that impressed with the food, there is just flavor missing. It's spicy yes, that's great, but there needs to be more flavor itself. The cilantro chicken had mostly spicy chili in it, barely any meat and even less cilantro. The kung Pao looked good, but didn't taste of much either, the Dan Dan noodles were probably the best item we had. Either we caught them on an off day or they are very inconsistent, there are so many good and really bad reviews... I guess consistency is needed.

Ellie C.

Yelp
First time trying this restaurant! Overall, food was pretty good (on the saltier side though) and service was great! The place was also very clean and had lots of parking. We went for dinner on a weekday and there were a few other people there, but the food came out very quickly (less than 10 minutes) after ordering. We got the Couple's Beef and Hot and Sour soup as appetizers. The Couple's Beef was yummy and spicy and went well with rice. The soup was just ok. The Kung pao chicken was savory, very salty, and not very spicy as it didn't have much pepper. We enjoyed it and would order again. The Chicken chow fun noodles were also good (not spicy). We also got the Sichuan Beef, which was well seasoned and Eggplants in garlic sauce, which was nice and warm. We would recommend the Couple's Beef, chicken chow fun, and kung pao chicken!

Yelp
I walked in and the counter attendant asked to go? (Before I had even arrived at the counter. So points for promptness.) when I answered "No," she looks startled. Then quickly came out from behind the counter and pointed to a smaller table saying "There. You will sit there." I looked at her kind of surprised and astonished, answered "Yes, sure." Taking a quick look around I noticed I was the only non-Asian person in the place, at the moment. I ordered the hot and sour soup, Mongolian chicken with one star (after a brief awkward conversation about spice), and steamed rice. Service was very prompt, I had tea immediately and soup right after. Had to wait a while for the teabag to steep, no worries. The hot and sour soup, however, was missing any body or underlying sweetness. It also contained some weird clear gel substance; guaranteed it's not homemade and had likely been very quickly assembled for me. The combination of the flavor and the weird gel kind of put me off so didn't really eat it. Mongolian chicken, however was very flavorful and had a great balance of flavors. Unfortunately, missing the traditional green onions and with very few crispy rice noodles under the stirfry. Regarding to go containers, not only do they not have compostable, when I requested something different then the two styles of Styrofoam he offered, ended up hearing about how everything else was "very expensive." Knowing full well, by the tone of the discussion that he had not investigated many options, I gently persisted that compostables were not that much more expensive and that they could charge 25¢ or 30¢ more for each dish, to cover that; and one more time, how bad Styrofoam is for the environment. But upon every attempt, he simply cut me off and repeated "too expensive." Eventually, those things will be outlawed and it's a pity so many Asian restaurants are going to have to go through this transition the hard way. I will probably return sometime later this year to see if a) I'm treated like less of a freak when I walk in, b) they've upped their soup game, and c) they got the message about compostable containers.

David K.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of eating this restaurant's food both as takeout and dine in and both experiences were great. The first time I visited, it was for take out and I ordered a noodle dish. I was surprised to see their prices since it was rather competitive. I initially assumed that I would be getting less food but the serving size was to my satisfaction. Taste of the noodles were great as well. The second time I ate here, I came with a friend and we ordered mongolian beef, lvl 3 spicy, twice cooked pork, lvl 4 spicy, and 2 steamed bowls or rice. I recommend the mongolian beef if you're looking for something sweet. They gave us our rice in a single larger bowl which was fine since we were sharing all the dishes anyways. They were starting to close down the restaurant and we were the last ones in, but I didn't feel rushed by them at all. I would come back to dine again here.

Jacques I.

Yelp
Not too shabby. We visited Sichuan Cuisine, as we wanted to check out a restaurant we hadn't been to before, so figured we should give Sichuan Cuisine a shot. I do like spicy food, which is what Sichuanese food is known for, with their chili oil and peppers. Apparently, they existed before their new location. The new location is right off of 148th, next to the new Amazon Go store and across from Fred Meyer. It's definitely in a heavy-trafficked area. The space inside was clean and modern, with many people still dining in an hour before closing on a Friday night. We ordered the Sichuanese boiled fish, the ants on a tree noodles, Knight Zhang's beef and wonton soup. Although Sichuanese food is known for the spice, they can customize your order if you want it more mild, you wuss. Complimentary tea is served before your food. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't my favorite. The portions were large, but something just seemed off. I was most excited for the Sichuanese boiled fish, which ended up providing four meals. But oddly enough, the flavor seemed bland, even with all the chili oil it's drenched in. Weird, right? Just a dash of salt would do wonders. I also ended up topping it with more chili paste for more spice. The ants on a tree noodles were interesting, in a good way. They were clear noodles in a numbing-like, sour sauce that was unlike something I've had before, but kept wanting more of. The "ants" were the ground pork pieces this dish came with. Knight Zhang's beef was more fatty than it was meat. I'd skip this dish. Wonton soup was basic wonton soup. A side of rice is a la carte/extra. For what Bellevue offers, methinks there are other better spots around for Sichuanese cuisine. The menu was very large though, and perhaps if I came back I'd have better luck. I'm down.

Yelp
12/28/2021 Finally I was able to try this restaurant! We ordered: Peavines Green Onion Pancake Chicken Chow Mein with soft noodle Spicy Garlic Beef with onion Hot and Sour Soup We hadn't eaten all day until dinner so we were so hungry!! After I came back from restroom washing my hands, hot soup was already arrived. Less than 15minute all dishes were on the table and they cooked so fast! Service was friendly and attentive. He came to our table quickly when we need anything. It was 5-6 tables were occupied and only ONE server was multi tasking! He was cleaning tables, taking to-go orders on the phone, packing all online orders, serving all 6 tables...and cashing out everybody! We would like to give him a gold star! We loved each dishes and we would like to come back next time!

Yelp
I'd give this place a 3.5 star rating. The Sichuan flavors are there but lacking something especially when I compare this food to the places I've tried in NY. It wasn't spicy and almost just tasted like plain breaded chicken. They used a lot of dried chili peppers but didn't see any fresh peppers used, wondering if that's why the chicken tasted bland. On top of that, the chicken was very dry and most of the pieces were so hard it felt like a wrong bite could chip my teeth. I loved the eggplant and tofu dishes. The kids enjoyed the dumplings (I did as well). The beef and broccoli dish was just OK. I'll try this place again to see if the fried chicken tastes better when dining in.

Yelp
My favorite goto pace for some vegetarian sichuan food. Ma po tofu and cold sichuan noodles are my comfort food and mood changers...and sichan cuisin knows how to do them right. A frequent visitor here have been ordering in on cold cold nights to get the warm and cozy food in my tummy. Though I have had only 2 dishes its a pretty busy place and they are fast in service too. All in all always my favorite place to visit on a cold night and to instant happy feels! Food quantity -4/5 Food quality- 4/5 Ambience-3/5 Service -4/5 Value for Money- 4/5 Visit again - 5/5

Yelp
I decided to give this a try since it was close. I ordered a pork chow fun, Eggplant in Garlic Sauce, Dry Cooked String Beans and Sichuan Cilantro Chicken. Personally I adore having dry cooked string beans when I get Chinese food so my rating of a location is always highly affected by it. Sadly I wasn't in love. It wasn't bad per say but it just didn't quite hit the mark. I had a similar feeling towards the eggplant. Neither of these two dishes were bad just kind of there. My least favorite of these 4 dishes was the cilantro chicken. For a dish with cilantro in the name, I expected more cilantro. I'm also not someone known to be great at spicy food and I didn't notice the fact this dish was supposed to be spicy at all. I would not recommend. My favorite was the Chow Fun. It wasn't necessarily the best I've ever had but it still had that addictive quality of noodles. It's a bit heavy on the onion and the noodles are bit stuck together. Overall, it's okay but I've had better chinese food in the area that I would rather go to.

Julia Z.

Yelp
Kind of a sadder looking storefront. I dropped by while waiting for a bus that was late and ordered a 蚂蚁上树 (ants climbing tree). It took them about five minutes to get me the food, which was startlingly fast. It was pretty tasty, although kind of lower on pork and scallions than I'm used to seeing for this dish and not quite the right texture. Good expected amount of heat and flavor though, and for a pretty good price! I'd love to come by for an actual meal some time. The store was pretty empty when I dropped by (at around 4:30), so plenty of spaced out indoor seating. The person who rang me up was very efficient and nice as well.

Yelp
I was really craving spicy Sichuan food and came to this place. I thought that all their dishes were a bit bland. Not spicy at all and only the beef dish had numbing peppercorn. I unfortunately won't be coming again

Yelp
I really enjoyed the food here. I got takeout, I ordered hot beef chow mein and spicy mandarin chicken. The sauce on the chicken is great and I really liked the flavor of the noodles. Large portions as well.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday evening. Plenty of seating. Was greeted warmly and offered hot tea. Place is adequately clean. Decor is traditional but minimal. I feel this place is less Sichuanese and more mainland. Was surprised to see they didn't have lamb dishes. Ordered the wonton soup...little salty but the dumplings were just awesome Chengdu noodles was good but again lacked a basic Sichuan flavor (Sichuanese peppers). Was expecting some numbing action Pepper chicken... extremely disappointing. Essentially popcorn chicken with chili peppers. By the way food quality rating is good. Not sure if I am sold on this place
