What a wonderful Italian restaurant right in my own backyard. I've passed by it a thousand times but never made my way in. Well Monday I finally did and I cannot tell you what a pleasant surprise. I felt like I was back in NY when I was a kid. The servers were great, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was authentic and came out quickly and piping hot. The menu had all my favorites, I'll be back to try the pizza.

We are in Ft. Myers just got the weekend and stopped into Sicily Trattoria for dinner. Best decision for dinner!!! The service is awesome but the food is so good!!! I'm jealous of the folks that live here. They have a live band that plays jazz tunes Thursday thru Saturday. We started with arancini, then moved on to our main meals of parmigiana with meatballs, and lasagna. All of this was delicious. The most tender meatballs I've had in ages and the sauce is so good!! The arancini was hearty, warm, and just yummy. I got lemoncello cake for later that I haven't tried yet. But they don't make it inhouse. They do make tiramisu, cream puffs, and cannoli inhouse. Overall, we loved it and highly recommend this restaurant.

Google
I eat pizza all over the country and this is by far top 5 I’ve ever had. Number 1 in Florida for sure. If you like pizza it’s worth the hour drive

Google
We popped in here one day thinking it was a by the slice pizza place. We were very pleasantly surprised by what we found. This is a true hidden gem. Family owned restaurant, the food is fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious. The piccata and tiramisu are some of the best I’ve ever had! The service is exceptional and always helpful. There’s a 3 piece band that plays and they just set the atmosphere. Give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Google
This definitely has to be my favorite Italian place. Their exquisite meals are juicy and delicious, bursting with authentic flavors. Excellent service and a cozy atmosphere to complete the experience. You also have to do yourself a favor and try their pizza. P.S. The only place I’ve ever had better pizza was in Italy.

Google
There isn’t italian food I don’t like… so I thought until I ate here. First and foremost, portions are much smaller than other Italian restaurants in the area. Side salad is approximately 5 pieces of lettuce with one cherry tomato, and a dried up canned olive. We had eggplant rollatini and chicken piccata. Chicken breading had so much spice that I didn’t taste the chicken. And the lemon sauce was potentially just lemon juice. Gravy on the pasta was actually sweet and the ricotta in the eggplant rollatini was also too sweet. Our server was very nice and kind. There was also live music, which was a nice surprise. We will not be back.

We had a pretty big party for a Monday evening, and it looked like only two servers were working. Both took turns helping out taking care of our table. Food took a long time to come out, some of the dinners were great, others seemed a little overcooked, and overpriced. Really wanted to give this place a great review because I have known little Tedi for a very long time and know how much he loved it working here

Google
We are Sicilian decent and ordered a Marguerite’s pie , eggplant parm, two seafood dishes and some soup. Staff was very nice and attentive. I liked that the food was not salty at all and you can add your own. My parents are hard to impress but my father loved it. He said “this is real pizza”. Set your expectations, this is not a brick oven pizzeria in Sicily. It’s a humble place in Florida , very clean and simple , reminds me of Nona’s food. Ohh the cannolis were 😚 yummy !! Crispy shell. I would go back just to have them !! You won’t be disappointed!!

Yelp
Food: 9/10 The pizza was absolutely delicious! We got a deep dish pepperoni & we definitely had no regrets! The pizza itself was delicious but the crust was a little burnt on one side which is the only reason why this section gets a 9. The burnt side got really hard to bite into. Other than that, the rest of the pizza was really good! Service: 10/10 Waitress took care of us very promptly on our lunch break. We walked in, was told to sit anywhere & then she greeted us within minutes of us sitting down. Kept our drinks full & made sure we were taken care of! Ambiance: 10/10 I'd say this has a very modern but old school pizza ship vibe. I really enjoyed the decorations they had & the atmosphere was bright & felt welcoming with all the windows and natural light! Lots of seating inside & outside too!

Yelp
You eat with your eyes first right. Well we ordered the stuffed mushrooms. Served in hot water' thumbs down! No cheese, tasteless. Take them out of the water for the love of Sicily'! I had the small salad one slice of cuke, one cherry tomato, one black olive!! The lettuce however crunchy was not cold, the ranch dressing was good. We got a 12 " pizza ‍ not enough cheese, don't bother. Take some lessons from Down Town Pizza

Yelp
I did a review of Sicily Trattoria 8-9 years ago, and I am here to tell you nothing has changed, if anything it is even better! Small family run business with Mama straight from Sicily in the kitchen and son Vinnie out front making the pizzas. Highly, highly, highly recommend them. We started with them when they were on Pine Island Road. When they moved to Cape Coral Parkway we cried, but followed them. We must drive by at least half a dozen Mediterranean / Italian restaurants to get to Sicily Trattoria, and it is worth it!

Yelp
Awesome shop owner. Cozy environment. Very clean & tidy. Cleanest bathroom I ever seen. Small things matter. Good menu.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite pizza places in town! How lucky am I to live with in walking distance . I can't believe I actually haven't reviewed them yet so here we go! It's I nice little spot with cute red lighting to set a vibe. I believe it's a family who owns it and the staff is very nice! I'm not sure if they're family as well. I usually get one of threes pizza when I come because I'm pretty basic. You can never go wrong with a classic cheese, I sometimes even add sausage. Or if I'm feeling something different I get the Bianca but sub broccoli for sausage. The margarita is also very good. The pizza is perfectly crisp with no flop at all! I've had their pastas a few times too and also delicious! If you love pizza come here you'll be very satisfied.

Yelp
Great food; great ambience, great staff! We're Minnesota residents who eat here anytime we are in town.

Yelp
This was the 1st time going to Sicily Trattoria since they moved downtown from our neighborhood on Pine Island road years ago. I am happy to report that we enjoyed the Italian food with the exception of the bread. My wife had Tortellini with artichoke and mushroom in light cream sauce which she enjoyed very much. I judge an Italian restaurant the 1st time by its Spaghetti and meatballs in tomato sauce again very good. We each had a glass of the lowest priced Chianti wine which was also good. For an Italian restaurant we did not care for the bread, to us it was not Italian bread with a nice crust. We are even on our option on the Tiramisu, not terrible but also not as good as we have had locally. Over all we would strongly recommend Sicily Trattoria. They have done a nice job since they have moved.

Yelp
Sicily Trattoria has been blossoming under our noses for years now, and its fragrance has become impossible not to notice. From blocks away the wafting of fresh pizza aroma draws you in like a magnet. The space is a mashup, ranging from casual sports bar to Italian influenced colors and designs. It is relaxed, with just the right touch of class. The pizza is phenomenal, the sauce and the crust are both their own unique experiences. Vinny has mastered the art of making his pizza. I was also able to sample a helping of the fettuccine alfredo. This, unfortunately, did not meet my tongue with such high praises. My tastebuds informed me of a lack of garlic, and perhaps an excess of butter. The sauce lacked consistency and flavor - two of the main things we look for in a good alfredo sauce. I hate to say it, but the dominant flavor was indeed hay. It brings me pain to type this, but I must remain honest as a reviewer so as not to destroy my own credibility. Don't let this keep you away, Sicily Trattoria has many excellent dishes and the service will keep you satiated with whatever your heart desires. Get some pizza!! - Wes

Yelp
Love this nook in Cape Coral. My husband and I enjoyed dinner. I had the Linguine and Clams, with white wine sauce and hubby enjoyed Eggplant Parmesan. Great service from Manny. He is attentive and very personably.

Yelp
Pizza was good NY style but needed more sauce. Crust was very good though. Would get again.

Yelp
We were in Cape Coral for our birthday week. We ate here 3 times and loved the food and the service! Everyone was so friendly that they made us feel like family! We look forward to eating there again next time we are in the area. I highly recommend this restaurant!!
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped here and I thought I would try pasta but everyone in there was eating pizza so changed our minds and decided to try a supreme pizza. That was a very good decision! The thin crust pizza was perfectly cooked and with just the right amount of toppings it was done to perfection. However, we will be returning to try some homemade noodles with pesto sauce very soon!

Gretchen M.

Yelp
Pizza was amazing. Not a super thick crust which is the way I like it. The chef was funny. The price was much better than the other pizza place we tried.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was amazing and staff was so friendly. Establishment was clean and nicely decorated. We will return

Yelp
My husband and I have been going to this restaurant for years and absolutely love the food. The service is good and so is the atmosphere. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.
google avatar

Angel M.

Yelp
They have the best chicken soup and broccoli and cheese soup around. They have good service and the environment is quaint. The owners are working there all the time and are very helpful and nice. Definitely would recommend.

V S.

Yelp
They should be embarrassed to call this italian food. From the food, portions, quality, prices to the service- terrible

Yelp
A lovely place to get a delicious pizza in the Cape Coral area This restaurant is located in a line of stores on the north side of Cape Coral Parkway East to the west of Del Prado Blvd and just about a block south of where the farmers market is held on the weekends. Parking is available in the lots to the north of the site, adjacent to the restaurant. We ordered and picked up some pizzas. The restaurant has a very open look to it with glass on 3 sides tile floor, wood chairs, a bar area, seating inside, Christmas lights along the ceiling and a clear view into the kitchen and oven. Inside seating is a mixture of counter seats and table seats. There are 2 entrances with one from the parking lot to the north and one to the street along the south. The area was clean and the staff was very friendly. The food is an assortment of Italian dishes. We got 2 pizzas. A 16" pizza runs between $13 and $20. They were hot and ready on time. Both were delicious. Overall, it is a good place to get a delicious pizza from friendly people in the Cape Coral area. Enjoy!

Franck W.

Yelp
I am out of town so I will qualify what I am saying here but it's probably the best pizza in Cape Coral. It's not the Napoliteab style (duh!) but it's very very good Go check them out I recommend order ahead if you picking up. They can be very busy . Or if you are like me sit at the bar and enjoy a drink

Yelp
Visiting for a few days and new to the area. Found the reviews on Yelp, called the resturant for take out. The staff was patient with me on the phone, made a few suggestions and were spot on with the time our food would be ready. We had a pizza, large salad (fresh with great dressing), a side of meatballs and garlic knots. I always order meatballs at new places, right or wrong it's a litmus test on whether we'll come back for pasta. A manager came over and suggested wine choices for me. Great food and service. Will be going back one night this week for pasta!

Yelp
I Had a beautiful glass of barbera d' asti which was delicious. We were greeted by a sweet-smiling, kind and genuine gentleman. I love the vibe of this quaint restaurant. They have specials everyday. Manny was our server and food was to die for. I got the lobster ravioli special with vodka sauce and my friend got the baked ziti Sicilian. We will come back! Thank you all for your hospitality and amazing homemade like mama from Italy made it food. We will definitely tell our friends. It was not that busy when we were in there because it was pouring rain, but the place is always super packed. It is a definite must go for family and friends check it out!!!

Yelp
I am Italian and the food here is very good! They make homemade Italian that I grew up on. The staff lunches or dinners are great! Our favorite pizza in the Cape!

L B.

Yelp
Food and service are incredibly awesome! Vodka sauce to die for finished off with homemade gelato and I'm on food heaven coma

Beth M.

Yelp
The best Italian restaurant in downtown cape coral. Small family run restaurant with amazing old family recipes. You won't be disappointed with any item on the menu. My personal favorite is the pizza.

Michael P.

Yelp
What an incredible find! We do not typically eat at Italian restaurants because we can cook our own food that just tastes better (my ancestry is half Sicilian and half Bohemian so I have some amazing family recipes, especially for our traditional red sauce). However, our kitchen is being redone and I had a taste for Italian. We saw the reviews, looked up the menu to see that the prices looked fair, and decided to try Sicily Trattoria. We are glad we did. Nice ambiance, but nothing fancy, clean, and compact inside, with an additional seating area in a room next to the main dining. The mussels for an appetizer were a treat, as we rarely spend for that sort of luxury, especially in an Italian restaurant where portions are usually plentiful. In a word, the mussels in the wine/oil/garlic were spectacular! We asked for extra bread, which was scrumptious on its own, to soak up the last of the broth from the dish. The veal marsala was perfectly cooked and the Penne ala vodka was a treat. The Pizzas passing by going to the other tables looked delectable as well. To make our meal even better, we had a chance to speak to the husband/wife owners. What delightful proprietors. They care about the meals they are serving and the satisfaction of their customers. The only slight negative was that fact that they use a little cinnamon in their homemade Tiramisu. Being a "purist in regards to Italian cooking, it caught us off-guard. Even so, it was very tasty. The whole experience was so positive that I promised to bring the owners some of my version of the dessert next time we make it at home. Michael P.

Yelp
We have been eating here since they opened on Pine Island Rd. This is the best Italian restaurant in the Cape. Everything is good. We usually get the hand tossed pizza and it is the best pizza in town!!!
google avatar

Yelp
We had dinner last evening with our party of seven at Sicily Trattoria. The restaurant is fairly small, with larger party tables and a few small tables for two and four. They also have seating for dinner at multiple bar top seats. Our server was fantastic but very busy but she kept up with us and her other tables well. The food. We had mussels and garlic knots for appetizers. Both great. A few people in our group had lentil soup instead of salad and they raved about it. When we got to our mains, everyone loved the food. Great flavor, cooked correctly. Chicken parm, lasagna, manicotti, ravioli and eggplant parm. Everyone loved their food. Of course we couldn't pass up cannoli for dessert. We had a great time, received great service. We will return again.

Yelp
We wanted authentic tasting Italian food and we happened on Sicily Trattoria. Really yummy and simple- perfect. If we had a bigger appetite we would have had the pizza because that looked great. Highly recommend- owners from NY area- so they know pizza

Yelp
Fresh made food with great, friendly service. This is a real gem in Cape Coral! Hand tossed pizza along with Sicilian thick crust pizza. Full dinners available such as Chicken marsala. Did you

Yelp
good service 4.5 stars food was ok / passable however not exceptional 2.5 stars i'm a retired chef of 47 years

Yelp
This place is awesome! We were greeted promptly and seated right away by a very friendly host. The owner's cousin took our order and was also very personable. The pizza is truly delicious - we are from the northeast and have been trying to find the perfect pizza and this is it! The cheese blend, the sauce, the crust...all came together for the perfect NY style pizza. I was so enamored with my pizza that I neglected to take pics of the 2 entrees but we had the baked ziti and spaghetti and meatballs. They were both delicious and my husband just raved about the homemade meatballs in his. We will definitely be back to try more menu items!
google avatar

Yelp
Let's first talk about the service- Andrea was outstanding. She is the sister in law to the owner/ pizza maker. Hats off to him too! We sat outside and it was super busy but everyone made a point to make sure we didn't feel like they forgot about us outside because they were so busy inside. The inside is pretty small so make sure you get there early. Also there are two bars inside so that's pretty neat! Anyways, the food!! Wow! I am not a sausage lover but the sausage pepperoni pizza was outstanding!!! My only complaint is that I wish the Alfredo sauce wasn't so watery. It was delicious but I like my sauce thick! We will be back!!

Denny D.

Yelp
Food was good, but not great, service was excellent, people were friendly. It seems to have good crowd.

Regina K.

Yelp
Very good Italian food. The owner and his family are very cordial and find time to say hello to every customer no matter how busy they are. My favorite place to eat in Cape Coral. Great Pizza and delicious Pasta dishes.

Kelli E.

Yelp
The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is super friendly. When customers walk in they are immediately greeted with a smiling staff member.

Tara Dawn C.

Yelp
BEST PIZZA I have had in Florida and the service was the best! Vinnie from NY makes the pizza and my mouth is absolutely watering wanting to go back. This place is a gem. We had zuchinni sticks and a Supreme pizza with no sausage, and just wow. I love giving 5 star reviews when recent experiences left me wondering...

Joe S.

Yelp
Warm welcome greeting upon entering. Linen cloth covered tables a nice touch. Basic Italian food well prepared & tastes delicious. Excellent crepe style manicotti & homemade lasagna .
google avatar

Rachelle C.

Yelp
We were greeted with smiles and friendly words by the entire kitchen and wait staff. The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was absolutely AMAZING!! My husband had the homemade pasta and I had the fettuccine Alfredo. We couldn't stop eating! It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. With so many Italian restaurants to choose from this is one of the top we will definitely be back.
google avatar

Laurie S.

Yelp
This is a hard review for me because the food was wonderful but the service was some of the worst I have ever had. We were a party of 6 with reservations for 5:30. We all arrived on time, and they looked disgusted that we were there and they couldn't find our reservations. So even though there was an empty table for 6 right there, they put 2 tables of different sizes together. There was at least six inches difference so two people had to split the tables!!! Seriously???? They took our order but pretty much ignored us for the entire meal. Unfortunately we were all so upset I don't think I need to tell you about the food. We are all locals and we can support the places that are actually glad to see us- service represents at least 50% of your feeling of a place.
google avatar

Jami K.

Yelp
Amazing food and equally great staff. A hidden gem in Cape Coral. Check it out, definitely worth it!

Sharon M.

Yelp
I don't know how we could have missed this place the last few years that we have come over. This trip, we were looking for a luncheon pizza place with a nice outside area where we could bring our little dog along with us. Talk about a great find! It featured a quiet outdoor breezeway where we could all sit together to eat, Service was great, but the pizza was DELICIOUS. There is no skimping on freshness! All the ingredients were very fresh and the taste really shined through. Our server also told the owner had plans for enlarging the outside seating area. We can't wait to come back!

Barbara B.

Yelp
The male server was sweating and had an odor to him, I saw a roach on the floor, and someone left skid marks in the toilet.
google avatar

Dawn W.

Yelp
Best best best!!!! Home made EVERYTHING!!! Check out the Tiramisu and home made Alfredo!!! Coming back for more to go thru the entire menu...thank you Trattoria Family
google avatar

Bryan C.

Yelp
The food was amazing. I tried their lasagna & I was mind blown. The service overall is a 10/10.

Kim S.

Yelp
Our party of six went for dinner last night. Walked in and was almost assaulted and was told to wait on the side. There isn't enough room. Told us we needed to commit to the bar or a table meaning we couldn't sit and grab a drink while waiting. Although they let others sit and grab a cocktail. Got worse. All tables had white linen table clothes. Ours however was on the table top no placemats or table clothe Once seated Andrea came over to take our order. No smile how are you nothing. Food was ok. Not the best but not the worst. For a few more dollars I would gladly go to Arianis. Better service and awesome food. At the end Andrea tried to recover. Too late. In my opinion I think they thought we were tourists. Nope we live here.
google avatar

Caroline L.

Yelp
Authentic Italian food. Staff is kind and welcoming. You can't go wrong with any food you choose off the menu. Highly recommend the manicotti but don't be alarmed if it's sold out. We return here as often as we can when in the area.
google avatar

Donna B.

Yelp
The good was amazing. We all loved it. You can tell it is joke made as it digested so well. Thank you for a great dinnet!!

Yelp
So we live in NY and been coming back and forth for over 20 years.. Finally a place that serves great Italian food and very very good pizza .. definitely worth trying at least once but you are going to go back so many more times.. We did!!!!

Lauren M.

Yelp
Best Italian in Cape Coral. The chicken parm is absolutely delicious. We've also had the chicken Marsala. It's a cute small intimate ambiance. Service was amazing. Will definitely be going back.
