Tucked behind Vinos with a nightly door code and dress code, this intimate room focuses on classic technique and bartender‑guided drinks. Eater Miami calls it out alongside Vinos as a go‑to on Las Olas for serious sipping.

I had a great time at Sidecar in Fort Lauderdale. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a laid-back vibe that’s perfect for unwinding. But let’s get to the real star of the show—the Corpse Reviver. I’ve had my fair share of them, and honestly, most places don’t get it right. Either the balance is off, the absinthe is overpowering, or it's made too sweet. But Sidecar absolutely nailed it. The flavors were perfectly balanced, crisp, and refreshing, with just the right hint of absinthe that enhanced the drink without overwhelming it. It’s easily the best Corpse Reviver I’ve ever had—smooth, bright, and crafted with real attention to detail. The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the service can be a bit slow when it gets busy, and one of the servers wasn’t as friendly as I’d hoped. But honestly, the quality of the cocktails more than makes up for it. If you’re into well-crafted drinks, Sidecar is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back for that Corpse Reviver alone.

Great music! If you want to dance to a nicely mademix of hip hop, R&B and Caribbean tunes go here on Sunday!

Great spot for date. Drinks are special and the place is super pretty and different. Nice experience will go back

Google
Old time music that throws you back in time, with a mixologist who really knew his stuff, asked for a spirit foward whisky drink and he made me a delicious bannana chocolate old fashion. Also tried a side car here for the first time and it was fantastic

Drinks are good, don’t get me wrong. but there’s two bartender. The one who works on the left (one wearing a peaky hat) is very professional and nice. the other dude, white guy, not so much. super rude and passive aggressive. i went there twice and both times he was unprofessional and rude. Completely ruined the good mood. will likely not come again or recommend anyone to go.

Sidecar is the place of truly skilled mixologists! And their mocktails are just as heavenly, not just a mix of juices in a pretty cup. Sitting at the bar and witnessing the making of the each cocktail is a relaxing treat. They do not serve food here but you can grab a few bites before your visit or after your visit at the adjacent restaurant, Vinos Wine Bar, or across the street at Louie Bossi. BTW, the flatbreads at Vinos are mouthwatering and just plain old goodness. Louie Bossi also has good pizza and pasta. Please note that this is not a large space so if you have a group of 10-ish, it would be best for you and your party to probably arrive earlier. Once they are at capacity, the code will not work on the door, which means there is no space. This is definitely a sit and sip space. There is not enough space to walk around however as you sit, you will feel comfortable. This doesn’t happen often however on weekends it is likely to happen. It is very dimly lit but that totally adds to the relaxing speakeasy vibe. This is a great space for a first date, a kickback after a long week, a great nightcap setting, or an ease into the night before a chill dinner. Also note, there is usually one bartender so if you want the rush this is not the place for you unless you arrive when they open. But still, who wants a rushed drink???

It was amazing. The barman was an artist, we asked for citric type of drink and he amazed us every single round. Genius!

Google
Love the concept of this speak easy, the cozy decor and lighting here, service is super, however, I expect the cocktail to taste better than the ones I get from a normal bar since it’s sidecar speak easy and $17 for one. It is strong but lack flavor.

Yelp
This place is great! Our experience here was top notch. The drinks were amazing. I had a classic dirty martini which was very good but then we decided to just let the bartender do what he does best. We told him the flavour profiles we liked and what liquor we typically drink and he came up with some amazing cocktails. The showmanship was spectacular as well. The vibe there is exactly how you would want a speakeasy to be. Felt really cool to be in there the whole time. Will be back!

Yelp
Super cool speakeasy tucked away in Ft. Lauderdale. I guess it would have been cool if you actually had to find/use the code rather than just go through the wine bar, but whatevs. The place is a WHOLE vibe, though. Loved the intimate setting. Great selection of very well-crafted cocktails as well. Our bartender (can I call them that, are they called something else at such an establishment? Is this a micro-aggression?) was seemingly a little annoyed with my group off rip, though. And wasn't the friendliest. Otherwise, a dope little spot.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. I highly recommend checking it out on a Sunday when Brownie is working. His drinks are top notch. Also the atmosphere is amazing. You'll make new friends immediately because everyone is having such a great time.

Yelp
Small speakeasy in the back of a wine bar. They don't serve food but the restaurant does. So eat before or after coming. It's a fun place to stop by on your night out in las olas. We were there a few hours and people came in waves and then it died down. Drinks were really good. Since it's small the bartenders also have to act as waiters so be prepared to wait a bit if it's busy or just walk up to the bar. They were super nice either way.

Yelp
Speak Easies are really fun. This one wasn't much of a secret though. When researching you need a code, but if you go in through the wine bar you don't. This place is tiny! It honestly seats 20-25 people if I had to guess. The bartender was alone and it was busy so service was slow. They were also out of some of the liquors that their specialty drinks were made from. Bummer. The drinks I did have were ok. The experience was neat, but I went to another speak easy in that area that was a lot better.

Yelp
Maybe we got lucky with the timing, but dang, we really won out on our trip to Sidecar. We were down on Las Olas last night, a Wednesday with dinner plans. We had heard of sidecar from friends and decided to see if we could get in. We were going to call for the code but when we went into their sister establishment" Vinos on Las Olas", someone was walking out of the somewhat secret door to the place so we walked right in. We heard it was a tough spot to get a seat but we were blessed by the slow night. We had spots and menus right away. I got the "Law of the Jungle" rum specialty beverage. It was a tasty sweet drink. The place had cool vibes. It's small, which added to the hidden gem feeling. I did grab another drink that had Pango, a Haitian rum. That was plenty good as well. It was a short visit, we were gone within the hour, but it was long enough to know we wanna come back again.

Yelp
The speakeasy itself is VERY SMALL this was probably a walk in from the bar/restaurant and turned into a speakeasy. We didn't have a code so we rang the bell no one showed nothing we stood there for about 5 min after digging and doing research when in thru the bar Nextdoor and asked she then showed me where to go thru . The place was empty . Just the bartender Patrick. Was trying to make talk asking about popular cocktails on the menu he said "espresso martini and vodka soda" what lol who recommends vodka soda the espresso martini was AMAZING prolly one of the best I've had. I went with "what every woman wants" on the menu it was okay wouldn't get it again tho. A couple came in sat beside us. Not at the bar. Literally they waited 10min to be served because the bartender never said like "lmk when you're ready " etc idk it is common sense ofc but you're working in this industry you don't have to ignore people . Also someone passed by thru the outside asked how to get in it was this little window in the hall way . Bartender looks over doesn't say anything completely ignores her and then she ask where the restroom is . He again looks at her and doesn't respond and so she leaves .. I didn't really understand his behavior to be completely honest with you but it wasn't pleasant. I will give this place another shot but not for now.

Yelp
An absolute gem! The bar is beautifully designed and hidden away, which made the experience of finding it really cool and exciting. The ambiance is just perfect for a night out. The highlight of my visit was definitely the bartender, who crafted some truly amazing drinks. Each cocktail was expertly made and full of flavor--clearly, they know what they're doing. I had a fantastic time here and will definitely be returning. If you're looking for a unique spot with great drinks and a classy vibe, Sidecar Speakeasy is a must-visit!

Yelp
Parking for a fee. No food available. You either have to eat at Vino's restaurant either beforehand or after. Drinks were great and able to be customized. A little on the pricey end though, but the gorgeous ambiance made up for it. Super small and hidden speakeasy within Vino's restaurant. Service was good. We did have to ask for the check since the bartender only came once to deliver our drinks. I do recommend and will be back. We enjoyed our time here!

Yelp
Hidden gem in Vinos! Hand crafted cocktails are a work of art. We got lucky going on a Tuesday it wasn't super busy. Candle light and prohibition wall decor made for fun ambiance. Definitely recommend checking out this speakeasy!

Yelp
On a Sunday night we tried to stop by the speakeasy located in Vinos on Las Olas. The place is tiny and may have been a closet or storage area before they turned it into a "speakeasy." There was no space to sit or stand by the bar, so we left and came back an hour or so later. This time there was a sign on the door saying it was full. We sat at the bar in Vinos instead and it was just okay with some Sunday night drink specials. What was puzzling was the man monitoring the door let 4 women in despite the sign. At this point, it was time to move on.

Yelp
Took a little bit to find, but this hidden gem is a must try. The mixologists makes the most amazing drinks. It's cute intimate spot for date night

Yelp
The barkeep, excuse me, the adult beverage stylist, has great mixing talent and outstanding customer care skill. Getting inside this gem was fun in itself. Highly recommended.

Yelp
I feel like I read some mixed reviews about this place prior to going but I think it definitely lives up to the speakeasy hype. The things I look for in a speak easy are the level of "hidden" they are and the quality of drinks and sidecar definitely delivers on both. Sometimes a "speakeasy" is barely hidden and they are just using the term for the status al allure. Sidecar you have to either enter a door inside Vinos with no label or enter a code you get by calling their number on a side door behind vinos. The other part they really delivered on was the drinks. Fantastic, creative drinks that are well worth the price and the bartenders care. I want to say our bartenders name was Kester and he cared as if the drinks were for him, even going as far as making an entire drink and throwing it out because he thought he could make it better. Every drink he made us was fantastic and we will absolutely be back.

Yelp
Great ambiance and amazing drinks! It really had prohibition era vibes. Seating is tight but thats also what made it so cool.

Yelp
I love this place... Patrick the bartender is amazing at knowing how to make a drink for you... I totally recommend you finding and going to this hidden gem!

Yelp
Such a unique place in a big city! My boyfriend and I went after dinner and it was absolutely lovely! We had Kester as our bartender, he was absolutely wonderful. Asked us what we liked and created a masterpiece! We will be going back
