The Best Halal Restaurants in London | Where to Eat Halal in London | Eater London

"Sidi Bou is a turquoise accented Tunisian restaurant, takeaway, and deli, located just outside of Ealing Broadway station. There aren’t too many Tunisian restaurants in London, which is a real shame considering the richness of the country’s cuisine. Despite being named after a seaside town, some of the best dishes here are made with lamb: the jilbana, a slow-cooked stew made with peas and artichoke is a real standout. Sidi Bou has dine in on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays." - Maazin Buhari

Best Restaurants in Ealing | Where to Eat in West Ealing, Ealing Common | Eater London

"Sidi Bou is flattened against the pavement by Haven Green’s near-permanent file of big red buses, but it’s hard to miss that blue and white, mimicking the clifftop town of Sidi Bou Said from which it takes its name. Tunisian cuisine intersects with Berber traditions and the resonances left by the violence of French and Italian colonisation: the presence of French on the menu and baguette on the side of nearly every dish dovetails with homemade harissa, heavy with black cumin; there’s Tunisian makrouna, a pasta with tomato sauce scarlet and fragrant with tabel, a spice mix of fennel seed, caraway, cumin, and coriander. Merguez juices run red over fluffy eggs and piles of couscous like a camel’s hump. Run by chef Amina Hamdi and her son, Hatem Kareem, Sidi Bou is one of the area’s finest restaurants and probably London’s best Tunisian restaurant bar none." - James Hansen

Order the Best Takeaway Restaurant Delivery in West London | Eater London

"Get a taste of Tunisia at London’s only Tunisian restaurant, bakery and cafe next door to Ealing Broadway station overlooking Haven Green. Run by chef Amina Hamdi and her son, Hatem Kareem, it continues to dole out homely traditional dishes such as Tunisian makrouna, a scarlet tomato red pasta with a blend of fennel seed, caraway, cumin, and coriander; and locals’ favourite brik a l’oeuf, which is a filo pastry parcel filled with egg, potato, parsley, capers and cheese. They’ve also stocked up on a wide range of imported goods from Tunisia ready to bulk up Londoners’ lockdown larder with fresh organic dates, Tunisian pasta, homemade harissa, olive oil, mloukhia, bel fekia, breek sheets and more. Call for a takeaway or order online for delivery with Deliveroo. Contactless payment only." - Angela Hui

The only and best Tunisian restaurant in the UK! We had a great time here. We came for mother's day and experienced really nice hosting with explanations of the food and insight on their Tunisian origins. Of course the food was delicious. I chose the lamb with peas and was made with their handcrafted genuine harissa sauce. It was a good level of spice though if you want it hotter they can accommodate on request (at your own risk! 😅) One key point, you need to book! It's very popular and we saw several people turned away during our time there. Also had a great convo with the owner. Give them a try!

What a cozy little place! Great food, great Tunisian hospitality at its best. Highly recommended for authentic Tunisian food if you feel like, located in nice area right outside the tube station so getting there from central London is not an issue. It’s a moms and pops kinda restaurant so you get the feel of eating at home. I also recommend to call and make reservation before dropping by just to make sure they open and avoid disappointment.

Best place to chill. Excellent Tunisian experience in London. Even for my daughter, who's a fussy eater, the chef made her a dish specifically as she ordered. So she didn't even have to be forced to order from the menu. And the fresh watermelon juice is to die for!!

To begin with, having a Tunisian restaurant and a supplier of high-quality, homemade ingredients in the UK is truly a luxury, especially since our cuisine and culture are not as widely known compared to others. I am deeply grateful to those who make it possible for us to enjoy our culinary traditions abroad with such authenticity. Moreover, these individuals are incredibly friendly, caring, and generous. My experience with them goes beyond just ordering Tunisian products online; whatever Tunisian items I need, they always manage to provide, deliver them with great care, and often add extra items. I truly appreciate the professionalism and dedication of those behind this service for representing our Tunisian culture so well.

Great food and great service. We ordered the breek and hummus harissa for starters and lamb and merguez couscous and chicken loubia stew for main dishes. The food was perfectly spiced and great to eat. Only small criticism would be that the portions were small (the loubia only had a couple of pieces of small chicken) for the price that you pay.

What a wonderful resto! Lovely ethnic decor. Friendly staff. Excellent flavours and exquisitely presented. Tried their classic Tunisian pastry parcel (brick à l'oeuf) filled with egg and then fried till crisp and golden brown. Wonderful flavours and exquisitely presented. Their must-try : harissa hummus.. .spicy, smoky, and wonderfully aromatic. Would like to do a return trip and work down your menu
