Overall a nice experience! Great vibe. The antipasti mussels were great. Hints of lemon and basil were very appetizing. Our pasta was absolutely amazing. Love the texture of homemade pasta. The cacciucco was okay but only had one piece of scallop which was slightly disappointing lol.

I was really looking forward to celebrating my partner and my anniversary at Siena. With the high expectations set by positive reviews, I was quite hopeful. However, our experience fell short due to the service we received. We visited last Tuesday evening and were seated in the back corner, despite the restaurant being empty upon our arrival. Contrary to the praised hospitality mentioned by others, we found it lacking. Although our waitress was pleasant, her demeanor suggested a lack of enthusiasm. Additionally, it was peculiar that everyone else received bread except us. On the upside, the food was great. I ordered the pork rib chop, and my partner had pasta. Overall, our visit was satisfactory, but I'm unlikely to return or recommend this dining experience to friends.

We had dinner here about 2 years ago still great food. But it seems the portions got a little smaller. This place is great still

Update: another great meal, this time with impeccable service by Joanna! Still do wish there were more tomato based vegetarian meal options. We had a wonderful experience at Siena. The ambiance is top notch and makes you feel like you’ve just traveled to a beautiful stone building in Italy for the night. The food was delicious, but I wish they had a few additional vegetarian options, like maybe an eggplant parmigiana since they have chicken parmigiana. Most of the meat-free entree options had a heavy cream sauce, and I prefer a red sauce. I would love to bring vegan family members, but sadly I don’t think there is anything on the menu for them. Overall, a 5-star dining experience with great service (thank you, Ryan!) and delicious food. I also let them know it was our anniversary and everyone told us happy anniversary and they brought a little treat for us on the house. We’ll be back!

We dined on a busy graduation/prom Saturday night, so the restaurant was quite busy. Based on other reviews I had read, I was prepared for an unpleasant hostess, forgetful waitstaff, and marginal food, but I made a reservation anyway. We have no regrets. We were greeted and seated by a delightful Rina, served by an attentive Derek, and enjoyed a delicious meal. We have zero complaints about our experience and will put this restaurant in our rotation.

Great ambiance and service. We accidentally spilled water onto one of the plates and they quickly replaced it. Super patient and understanding with our requests. I’m giving it 4 stars because I think the beet salad could’ve used more seasoning. And pasta had a sour taste that I wasn’t a big fan. Loved the calamari.

Great atmosphere- makes you feel like you are in an Italian villa. The bread is made their daily and very good. The bacon wrapped figs are excellent and the pasta dishes are delicious. I’d maybe skip on the roasted veggies - they were good but not a must have. The desserts came out a bit strange one had good consistency but the other two were like chocolate soup.

I wish I could give 6 stars. Every single thing was impeccable. Definitely top Italian restaurant in Austin. I truly felt like I was in Italy. The gorgeous atmosphere and building paired with the food and drinks was amazing alone but the incredible service made it even more special. Definitely worth going to!

Absolute bliss....This was a hands-down, experience. I spent my evening with seven other ladies and one was celebrating her birthday. The ambiance was gorgeous. The food was downright heaven. The ladies ordered two plates of muscles. I don't eat them, but the ladies devoured them so I'd like to say that they come recommend, based on their reactions. I ordered the fusilli with chicken in a delightful, savory, Gorgonzola cream sauce. The chicken didn't taste like it was precooked and dropped onto a bed of pasta. It must've been roasted and slow-cooked as tender as it was. As for the service, we arrived around 8, but for some reason our waitress rushed us a bit. She pulled the menu out of my hand, then asked if I was done with it, which was a bit rude, but the food was definitely a saver in the rating of the experience of this restaurant. I'd revisit for this same dish in a heartbeat!

Beautiful dinner spot! Came in from Driftwood and loved the ambiance! Beautiful interior. We made reservations a few weeks ahead. Mussels were a great light appetizer. Special lobster ravioli was delish! And the pork chop was cooked to perfection! Never had smoked Brussels and potatoes...so good! A great date night spot. They have a roomy bar as well up front! Espresso martini and old fashion was perfectly crafted. Will definitely return to try additional menu items.

Came for belated Valentine's day dinner!! This was THE BEST meal and service that my boyfriend and I have had in a long time in Austin! We loved everything from the ambience - the decor, lightings and set up , to the service, to the food presentation and flavors. We loved this place!! We had the calamari for appetizer. It was crispy and flavorful. Then we had 2 different salads, one being the melé which is absolutely a treat!!! Then we had for entrees the Tagliatelle allá Bolognese and I had a quail special. I am not a pasta person BUT these dishes were MAGICAL! finally we finished with dessert - Tiramisu. Yummy. I can't describe in words how amazing this dinner was from the flavors of each dish and service. We loved every moment here and will be back!

This is a solid 4 star restaurant. This is after multiple visits. The food, service and ambiance (depending on where you are seated) are all above average. It can be loud when it is busy due to acoustics but the architecture is beautiful. The patio is vey nice as well. Nice variety of thoughtful, traditional Italian dishes and menu selections and daily specials have been very good. The wine list is all Italian and deserves a mention as well. Prices are commiserate with similar establishments. We will continue to eat here when we are in the mood for good Italian in a slightly upscale setting.

My husband and I decided to go to Siena Ristorante Toscana for an early birthday dinner. He made reservations online through Open Table a few days in advance. We drove up and there was plenty of parking. We went in and waited for the hostess. The inside of the restaurant is really nice. It's very big with high ceilings and tables throughout. The hostess was really nice. She greeted us with a smile and asked how she could help us. We told her about the reservation and she noticed that it was for my birthday and she kindly wished me a Happy Birthday as she seated us. She put us upstairs in a nook with seating for two by a window. Not long after being seated our waiter greeted us. He did a really good job answering our questions and taking care of us throughout our time here. He took our drink orders gave us menus and then left us to decide. I ordered a Juice Mocktail. It was sweet and really good. For dinner we ordered the Bruschetta which is grilled Siena Bread with Braised Wild Boar Ragu. The bread was good and the Ragu was tasty. I could taste the sauce flavors in the meat. For dinner I chose Filetto di Manzo al Gorgonzola. It's a wood grilled Beef Tenderloin filet, Gorgonzola Crema, Braised Tuscan Kale, and Roasted Potato Sformatino. I ordered the beef tenderloin filet medium and was very happy when I cut into it and saw that I got what I wanted. It was really tender and delicious. The potatoes were shaped like a small cake and were flavorful. I'm not a fan of kale but I tried it. My husband ordered the Costata di Maiale which is a wood grilled 14oz. pork rib chop with black peppercorn, Dijon, and a truffle honey glaze. It comes with roasted potatoes, charred brussel sprouts with a Calabrian chili agrodolce. I tried all of it. The pork chop was flavorful and you could taste the Dijon and the honey on it. What a sweet combination. The potatoes were good. Not too flavored but good. The brussel sprouts were spicy. To finish our meal we ordered the Flourless Chocolate Tort which is a Chocolate Torte with Amarena Cherries, Chocolate Ganache, and a White Chocolate Powder. It was really good. It was soft and sweet but not overly sweet and the perfect finish to our meal. The atmosphere is cool, the service is great, and the food is delicious.

I agree with other reviews, this place is a solid 4 stars. The dishes are more traditional Italian. My favs were the Penne Alla Toscana and Salmone e frutti de Mare, both were excellent! The server recommended one of the Italian red wines and it was a perfect pairing. The ambience is romantic, it reminded me of restaurants we went to while on vacation in Italy. I would definitely recommend this place!

I have been going to Siena for nearly 20 years. Always enjoyed the experience and the food. However, the experience I had this past week trying to make a reservation has soured me and I want to share with others. I tried to book a table for the following week (a Thursday night) for a party of 8 at 7p. The woman I spoke to responded the only availability that night would be either 5:30p or 8p. I told her neither was acceptable as we have a rather long drive (40 minutes each way). I then suggested we could split up into 2 tables of four but wanted to be seated near each other and with the same server so our meals would arrive about the same time. She responded that wouldn't work as she already has 2 large tables and can't "slam" those servers. I asked if she only had 2 servers working and she said no there are more. So I asked why not seat us in one of their stations? She responded there were already reserved tables and all she could do was "try" to get us close to each other but likely with different servers. Her attitude was ridgid and unaccommodating. She did absolutely nothing to try and come up with an acceptable solution. So I told her I was done with Siena and she literally hung up without even saying she was sorry or goodbye. I then went to the Siena website and found the only email address listed, and sent a message asking that it be forwarded to the manager and/or owner, and for a reply to let me know that the right person read it. This was Wednesday and as of today, Saturday, no reply! I just now read a review from Payam S. and it sounds like an encounter with the same person. If not, then it must the the culture of Siena and its one I will no longer visit.

Your dead to me after the attitude from host and staff! Rude and bad attitude from the whole staff - will not return to this stuck up place!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Siena Ristorante Toscana, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. As soon as you step through the door, you're enveloped in the cutest Tuscany feeling. The warm, rustic decor and charming ambiance instantly transport you to the heart of Italy. It's a cozy and inviting space that sets the perfect tone for a memorable evening. To kick off the meal, I indulged in their homemade bread rolls and calamari. The bread rolls were freshly baked and served warm, with a crusty exterior and a soft, fluffy interior. They were simply divine, especially when paired with the accompanying olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The calamari was perfectly cooked, with a light and crispy coating that gave way to tender and flavorful seafood. It was a fantastic start to the dining experience. For the main course, I opted for the Penne, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The penne was cooked al dente and tossed in a rich and savory sauce that had a perfect balance of flavors. The dish was generously topped with fresh Parmesan cheese, which added a delightful nuttiness. Every bite was a symphony of textures and tastes, leaving me completely satisfied and longing for more. It was an absolute delight for the senses.

Came here for happy hour with friends, this place was amazing. Great ambiance with a nice patio to sit out on. Everything I ate was so good. I even took a gluten free version of the wild boar Ragu home to my husband and he was impressed. The walnut crusted trout with the lemon bure blanc sauce was also really good. don't sleep on vernacchio white wine. Never had it before and I can't stop talking about it.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. My boyfriend and I were visiting Austin and came across this amazing place. The host was outstanding she made us feel welcomed and had the best uplifting personality. The service was great. The ambiance was so nice and inviting. Everything we ordered from the food to the wine was incredible. The whole experience was what going to a great Italian restaurant should be. We had a beautiful date night. We definitely will be back.

Loved this place! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because their vegetarian pasta options are pretty limited and I learned after getting to the restaurant that they don't serve their pizzas at the restaurant, it's only for take-out orders. However, despite that, the food and service were amazing! When you enter the restaurant, you feel like you've been transported to Tuscany. Freshly baked bread is available upon request (they avoid bringing it to every table to avoid waste and be respectful of gluten allergies) so make sure you ask your server for it if you want some! Highly recommend as the bread was delicious and so fresh! I ordered the Ravioli Ripieni di Carciofi e Spinaci, which was delicious. My boyfriend loves meat and seafood so he ordered the Bavette Mare e Montillini con Gamberi (shrimp pasta) and Tagliatelle alla Bolognese, both of which he loved and said he'd come back for. We also got the Broccolini to share, which was so garlicky and yummy. For dessert, we ordered the Panna Cotta and Flourless Chocolate Tort, both of which were amazing! I'm not a huge dessert fan, but the panna cotta was so light that I could eat it for days! And my boyfriend being a chocolate lover absolutely loved the chocolate tort. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for a nice dinner. It's great for date nights, family dinners, friend gatherings, and special occasions!

We came in for the New Year's Eve prix fixe menu for $125 per person, but we're decidedly underwhelmed. Our server was lovely and did a great job, but the food was so-so. I had burrata as an appetizer, but it had a strong, sour/tangy taste, like yogurt. I've never had burrata that tasted like that, and the server offered to take it back and get a new one. The new one had the same taste. I looked it up later to see if a sour taste is typical of burrata, but everything I found said that it's a sign that the cheese has gone bad, and burrata should be a mild flavor. The gnocchi was meh, nothing wrong with it but not the best gnocchi I've ever had. The stuffed acorn squash was undercooked and stringy (I make it at home on the regular and normally love it). The best part of the meal was the tiramisu, which was delicious.

I was looking for a nice, quiet Italian restaurant to bring my great aunt too as it was her first time in Austin and I needed to bring the quality. After some research and recommendations I decided on Siena, and I am glad I did. It was a Monday night so I probably didnt need a reservation but I made one anyway, and we were seated right away. You walk in and are instantly transported to Tuscany. The exposed brick walls and decorations are very rustic and reminiscent of the Italian countryside. Our waitress Sam was spectacular, very friendly and attentive. They were running a 3 course special of caprese salad, lobster ravioli and salmon, which my great aunt got, while I opted for a campo salad and filetto di manzo. The campo salad was a simple salad with just young greens but it had a black truffle balsamic vinaigrette which really packed a punch. The filetto di manzo had a delectable chianti porcini sauce and was cooked to perfection. It came with a potato sformatino which was to die for and a tuscan kale. I dont usually like kale but this kale was pretty good. As for the 3 course special, my great aunt said the caprese salad was delicious, the lobster ravioli was amazing and the salmon was very very good. Im not a salmon person but tried some and found it to be very enjoyable with the mango passion fruit salsa. Siena is the real deal, great scratch made Tuscan food at a reasonable price in a cozy environment.

Food was very good as always. We have been here a number of times and have never experienced staff with an attitude like the male bartender with dark hair gave us tonight. This guy wasn't nice. I observed him being accommodating and deferential to other patrons but with us, he was aloof, disinterested and borderline unfriendly to the point of not even making eye contact with us. Thank heavens he went back to the bar and let other staff take care of us after we ordered appetizers and wine. Our replacement server and the sweet hostess were both lovely. We were glad we didn't have to put up with Mr. Attitude for the rest of our meal. After spending $150 on dinner, I left feeling like I might never return.

Food: 4/5 Great Tuscan cuisine and an unmatched wine selection you won't find anywhere else in Austin! Make sure to understand the difference between standard Italian and Tuscan though. Service: 5/5 Siena really has a culture of service, and it shows in how accommodating the wait staff is. They are prepared to make your dinner very special and have great opinions on food and wine. Environment: 5/5 I've never dined at a location like Siena before. Get ready to dine in a castle!

Great wine selection Dessert was delicious -gelato Excelente ambiance for a romantic date Server was friendly Bread for the table is delicious, but make sure to request it otherwise it won't be offered, at least this was the case for us. Food was decent... just ok. my fettuccini was under seasoned, won't order again if I return. But I would definitely try other pasta dishes as they like to emphasize it's made fresh/in house. Price wasn't worth the taste of the food in my opinion. But fun place to check out anyway.

Three course Specials by their fire are one of our Austin favorites. Swordfish is amazing. No Turkey on special tonight consistently excellent service and if you turn off your location and turn on your taste buds you may just feel like you have been teleported to Northern Italy

We had dinner here with friends to celebrate Christmas and the atmosphere is very nice during this time. I had the greens salad which was okay but we were all wanting a Caesar salad which they don't have. Several of us had the chicken Parmesan which was good but not great. The rolls were really good but we were given only one roll per person. The biggest inconvenience was trying to figure out how much each couple owed as they wouldn't give us separate checks. Not sure if I will return as there are too many good Italian restaurants in Austin.

Went for Valentine's day dinner. Very worth it fine dining Italian restaurant. Service was great. Food was very delicious. Brussel sprouts are a must try. Got the rainbow trout and chicken rosemary pasta. Both were very well favored, juicy and tender. The portions are huge too. Got the tiramisu for dessert, which was very delicious as well. Staff were all very friendly and attentive.

Good food, great service and amazing ambiance. From the appetizer of calamari to the main course, everything was delicious. My only recommendation is to not come starving because the entrees are not very large so don't try to share a meal with a friend.

I've dined at Siena several times over the years and the food leaves much to be desired. Great ambience but offers very basic flavors and service. Austin has many amazing Italian restaurants which provide much better service. I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Siena is one of those Austin hidden gems that you wonder how you've never found. I do boldly like to say that Austin doesn't have good Italian food however Siena does give my assertion a challenge. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. It's set in what looks like a rustic Italian villa or possibly a farmhouse on the Tuscan hills. There's a giant fireplace in the middle of the restaurant and on a cold night, the coziness of the building itself is inviting. There are a few private dining nooks upstairs on balconies but even the main two dining rooms aren't so big that they feel impersonal. Highlights: The pasta was very good. Really that's what we came for. Ravioli in cream sauce Papardelle in a wild boar ragu - A soul warming ragu featuring gamy boar meat. The pasta had a god tooth to Disappointments: No bread basket. :/. We asked for and was given two American dinner style bread rolls and some olive oil. Meatballs had a great flavor but didn't come out very hot. In fact, they came out mere seconds after ordering which leads me to believe that they were just scooped out and plated rather than being baked in a cocotte with some cheese and sauce. Also... noticeable lack of bread. Bread, guys! Bread!!! #carbs

I have wanted to try Siena for a few years now. I met up with a couple of girlfriends there to celebrate a birthday. The parking situation requires some patience on a Friday night, but it's absolutely worth it. We started with the calamari and the truffle fries, along with some complimentary bread. The appetizers were delicious. I really enjoyed the charred tomatoes with the calamari. I ordered the boar ragu for dinner. It was wonderful! They are well-known for this dish, and the recipe is over 100 years old. It was rich and fresh - very satisfying. We polished off a tiramisu and panna cotta for dessert, and both of those were amazing, as well. This is a great date spot or meeting up with friends for a special occasion. It definitely has an authentic Italian feel to it that I haven't seen in Austin otherwise.

The ambiance of this place reminds me of Tuscany. Their food was great. Our group had Carpaccio & Fried Calamari as starter. For my main dish I had Penne alla Toscana and my husband had Ossobuca and both were great.

Only giving this 2 stars bc our waitress was incredible. Ambiance was good but food was terrible. Martini to start was almost warm. 2 Olives with what they said was blue cheese but they had dried something in them...terrible. They were literally crusty inside. if you've been to Bartletts you'd know what a cold martini is and best olives. starter: $8 for overpriced bread and olive oil. meh I ordered the boar bolognese. bland and underwhelming, not to mention pasta was just complete garbage mush. it's basically a bland pot roast with mushy noodles. Gf got the cream pasta. while better in flavor it was also over cooked and required extra parm. Definitely will not be back here. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The place is always impeccable service and great food. The ambience is stellar and it's just an Austin fave of mine . Great for romantic dates or meeting friends at the nice bar area.

Great service and environment. A little loud inside in the main dining room but not too bad for dinner. The Mêle salad is excellent and the wild boar "Cinghiale" bolognese is great. A full wine selection and you can't go wrong with an Italian wine. Leave California in the bottle. Get some Italian wine - always. The Fruiti de marre is full flavored with a lot of shrimp, mussels, calamari and white fish with a rich sauce. We left dessert off the meal plan as we had plenty to fill us. I would recommend Open Table to get you a seat. I would opt for inside because you get a lot of traffic noise from 2222 and 360. Bon Apetito! Ciao

My wife and I decided to come here to celebrate our anniversary on a Thursday evening. We were enthusiastically greeted by a hostess called Reina who set the positive vibe for the evening. We reserved a table in the upstairs balcony and we noticed the restaurant was less than half full for the evening. Claudine was our waitress and her service and attentiveness was impeccable. Her recommendations and timing between courses was right on par. There was never a time when we had to wait for a glass to be filled or a plate to be taken away. I definitely recommend that you start off with an Aperol spritzer as an aperitif. After a couple of rolls with olive oil, we started with the calamari as an appetizer and it was perfectly prepared. The main courses were the pork chop for her and I had the salmon shrimp and crab meat dinner. The chop and salmon were cooked to succulent perfection and the side's were equally as enticing. My wife continued with the spritzer but I opted for a couple of glasses of Montelcino with the meal. We could not pass up dessert, but we were so full that we got them to go. This was definitely one of the best meals we've had this year. This place is known as a great romantic spot and this evening they certainly proved it. The pictures tell the rest of the story. Definitely will be back!

This is a really fancy place with nice seating area as well as great patio seating too. I hope I can say same thing about food. Their tomato basil soup was okay. Fettuccine was good but didn't liked the capellini. Their food basically lacks flavor and spices. On the desserts too, Tiramisu was nice but not the flourless cake. Though their wine selection is good. I would say pass this place since there are many new good Italian restaurants in town to try out which have better food and same good ambience.

Very poor customer service at the hostess. Do not anticipate having any reservation that you place a deposit on ready for your group. Too bad. Chef does a great job. Service attention and priority suffers greatly.

I visited Siena on a business trip to celebrate my colleagues retirement. The food was incredible and the service even better. Ryan MADE the experience. The chef was able to accommodate a plant based diet, Ryan made us feel like the most special people around, and the freshly made pasta was worth the calories. Very enjoyable meal and experience. Thank you Siena - and Ryan - for helping us celebrate.

I just had to write a review regarding our experience at Siena because it was not what I would ever expect from a restaurant that has been around Ausing for so many years. The server was beyond unprofessional --- I think it was Joanna? Anyway, she looked like she has worked there for years as she was irritated with everything we asked and I seem to remember she even rolled her eyes at us. Further, she didn't want to make recommendations and appeared to be so busy with other tables that she didn't want to give us the time of day! With all the competition in Austin these days, you would think the establishment would hire more qualified and friendlier servers. The food is not that stellar to make up for the lack of professional service. She needs to go and get a job at Denny's or someplace that doesn't mind rude order takers. To add to this one, trust the process, this place only averages 3 stars for a reason. Update: after reading other reviews, I see there is a common theme here, many disgruntled customers due to the service by the staff. I suggest you read all the reviews before making a decision to patronize this business. Also, notice the owner doesn't ever respond to the reviews about the rude, poor service. Wonder why?

Food was okay. My salad was underdressed. The bread was not served with enough olive oil and more was not offered. I had the special gnocchi which was mediocre. The biggest problem was we felt the restaurant had more customers seated than they could handle. We had a reservation but it took a while to be seated. After being seated it took a long time before we saw our waiter and then when he came we ordered appetizer and drinks. We waited a long time and finally received water and then later finally drinks. Then our waiter came back and we placed our remaining order. When the salads came out, we realized our appetizers weren't coming. It wasn't worth bringing up at that point and didn't show up on our bill. By the time we finished our meal we were just ready to go. In the past we often ordered coffee or dessert but tonight things were just really slow and lots of mistakes. We could hear the table next to us was having the same problems. We felt for our waiter...very nice fellow doing his best but didn't seem well supported. I will mention when other staff brought out the food or drinks 3/4 times they were bringing our order to the wrong table and we had to call them over.

Would have loved to give this place more stars if it wasn't for the general manager. Our waiter was fantastic and food was decent. General manger approached our table after seating us and told my husband to put his hat forward. My husband and myself were both dressed casual but appropriate. My husband had a hat on. Looked on website and there is no dress code. If there is a dress code it should be posted on website. Also others in the restaurant were dressed similar to us. We were celebrating and it really brought the mood down. Probably won't come back unfortunately.

I LOVE this restaurant. It is my husbands and I favorite celebratory dinner spot. We only come in special occasions because we never want to get tired of it. We almost always get the same thing. He orders the chicken parm and I get the sausage and chicken pasta. The pasta is perfection and so flavorful!

I have been to Siena 3-4 times and 2x recently. This is a lovely venue that looks like a Tuscan villa. The table service was good, but the food is another thing. It's the heaviest, most winter version of Tuscan cuisine. No one in Tuscany is eating boar ragu in 100 degree summer. But the quality of ingredients is also appalling--Parm cheese pre-shredded as if it comes out of a bag, both on your pasta and when you ask for it. Dried out over-cooked Chicken parm. "Homemade" pasta that was a clump on my plate with sauce on it. The kitchen could do better watching a little YouTube and the menu needs rethinking. It is SO expensive for what you are getting and some of the most inauthentic Italian food I've eaten in Austin. I ordered spinach as a side and got a plate of unflavored greens. I've given them more than one opportunity. NEVER AGAIN.

Came here to celebrate my very first wedding anniversary and it was SUCH a beautiful and special experience. Marco took wonderful care of us and the food was divine. I recommend the fig appetizer! I couldn't be happier with my dinner and I'm so glad I chose to celebrate here.

This place is amazing! Food is by far some of the best Italian I've had in Austin. Menu options are house specialties and the classics- both delicious. Staff is nice and attentive. Highly recommend the beef carpaccio and the rainbow trout. Outdoor dining patio is serene and a good setting for an afternoon lunch.

My wife and I went to Siena for our 27th wedding anniversary. We were greeted at the front entrance area by a very kind lady. We were seated up up stairs with a window view. We were fortunate enough to have a great waiter by the name of Mr. Young. He took very good care of us. Our appetizer was so good we ordered another of the same. We both had filet melon steaks, and they were out of this this world. I would totally recommend Siena anyone and all.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO CELEBRATE A SPECIAL OCCASION. My wife and I dined here three weeks ago on a date. We really wanted to like it. Unfortunately, the ambience and their indifference to disruptive customers ruins any chance of enjoying an upscale dining experience. This restaurant SHOULD NOT allow infants, toddlers, and young children into this restaurant. But clearly the restaurant management doesn't care. To make a few more bucks off of families, they let disruptive children ruin the experience for the rest of us. There were several middle age and older couples quietly trying to have a nice dining experience. We were in the side room. A younger family with a toddler and infant were there. The screams of the toddler got so bad that we asked to be moved to the main dining area. Mind you, neither did either parent take the baby outside nor did the restaurant ask the parents to stop the noise. In the main dining area it was better. But then a young boy started banging his shoes against the back side of the bench he was sitting on. This went on for a long time. We decided to eat quickly and leave, never to come back again. As for the food: The complimentary bread is amazing. My wife ordered the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese and I ordered the Pappardelle al Cinghiale. The portions were small and the pasta was not very good; it was all stuck together like one big lump, requiring us to take it apart. Still feeling hungry, I ordered the Mele 14 salad which was good.

Exceptional restaurant all around. Food was outstanding and flavorful; homemade pastas were delicate and done perfectly; sauces were unique and tasty; desserts were homemade and again, exceptional; massive wine list; ambiance is truly unique, cozy and old world; service (Joe) was attentive without being pushy. Looking forward to going back. Highly recommend!

Had a great birthday dinner at Siena Restaurant last week! Food was delicious, service was good, ambiance was delightful!

Don't get me wrong - the ambiance and service are excellent! But how this place gets rave reviews for food is baffling. Everything, and I mean everything, is bland. No seasoning, no flavor - perfectly cooked, but perfectly flavorless. Great place for a reasonably priced glass of wine and maybe an app, but otherwise skip it.

the restaurant is beautiful and previous visits service great and food was great , but the visit last night , the service was the worst Ive seen in my 53 years - I've lived in Auston all my life , been in service Industry and customer service manager Last night , was worst service to our group from the manager because when we arrived to our reservat that had been planned a few weeks our , requesting a lare table When we arrived early to decorate the table to celebrate our friends Birthday and Christmas we were sat at very small table and mentored we need larger table my friend stressed the table wasn't ready the waitress came to our table she could see she was upset , said words and made a dirty look at our friend, she asked waitress why did you give me a dirty look and didn't feel comfortable in restaurant and treatment The manager cam over to our table and proceeded to act like we were trouble and said none of my wait staff wants to wait on you - we told her just change waiters and we will be happy she refused to do that and continued to be rude said we need too leave and kept telling us her wait staff thinks we will be trouble Very nasty , very rude She could have handled .. so sorry you felt waitress gave you a dirty look , I'll seat you with another waiter and so sorry that happened - End .. done But instead she kept going around and around kicking us out etc Will never go back and we previously loved this restaurant

This is a very cute and romantic place for a date night or special celebrations. I started off the meal with Calamari and Baked Brie both of which were really good, but the baked Brie beat out the calamari in my opinion. My entree was the shrimp pasta which was good, but I think next time I'll try the chicken Parmesan instead. Their chocolate cake dessert was sooo good!

I brought my wife here for our eight year anniversary. It has an amazing ambience when you are inside the building it's like you're in a castle.candlelit tables. Absolutely beautiful. But more important than that the food is amazing and the server that I got superseded the food as good as the food was

The only homemade pasta on the menu is the tagliatelle. All the other "fresh" is obviously boxed pasta. The bread was bland and the sauce for the mussels we had was way too acidic. The ambiance was lovely and the service was good, but the food was a major disappointment. The cocktails left much to be desired as well. Honestly, while Carrabba's doesn't make their own pasta, their food is way better. We left feeling we should've stayed home. Total bummer.

Seriously, for anyone who is looking for amazing food and service, which is considered above the norm. This is the place to go. Not typically my price range, but a place to take someone who deserves to be treated to the best. From entering the front door, we were treated like we were special. First class service, first class food. I can't say enough. We do tc typically splurge, but this was well worth it for the price aroun$200. Wine, app and meal were incredible, melt in your mouth amazing. We have pork and chicken, which went beyond what we expected. Chef Harvey's staff went above and beyond and we are grateful!
