One Year After Fires Devastated Napa and Sonoma, Restaurants and Wineries Are Still Rebuilding - Eater SF

"A hilltop winery in Napa that lost its tasting room in the Atlas Peak Fire. The proprietor has decided to rebuild with a new hospitality center and state-of-the-art winery. In the interim, tastings are being held in a trailer with views of Napa Valley. They also offer a food and wine experience in partnership with Meadowood Napa Valley." - Jess Lander

Wonderful tasting with our host Lee in June. Signorello is a luxury experience in a beautiful setting. They offer high end delicious wines and a more exclusive and friendly tasting experience.

As one of the owners of Wine Tour Pros, we visit countless wineries, but Signorello Estate truly stands out for its exceptional quality and service. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Signorello has returned stronger after the devastation of wildfires, offering a refined and unforgettable experience. Guests are welcomed with an electric cart tour through the estate vineyards, followed by an exclusive tour of their stunning new winery and expansive wine caves. On a personal note, I thoroughly enjoy their wines, and Darren, our wine tasting guide, was simply amazing. His fun personality and deep knowledge of wine and Napa Valley made the experience even more special. Whether you're a casual wine enthusiast or a connoisseur, Darin can dive into wine details and elevate the experience. Signorello is a must-visit for anyone seeking a premium Napa Valley adventure!

"I had a fantastic experience at Signorello Winery, where I had the chance to try their signature wines. Lee gave an excellent tour of the caves and the entire property, offering insightful details along the way. The winery is situated on a beautiful hill that provides stunning views of the surrounding vineyards."

Google
A beautiful vineyard set out of the owners private residence. There are some exceptional and unusual wines here such as my personal favorite, the pinot noir. It was a pleasure to meet Ron who looked after us and gave the tour.

Rochelle is a fantastic host. This people are rebuilding their vineyard building and warehouse from a devastating fire. Their wine is out of this world, great cabernet sauvignon.

Google
My mother and I did the Padrone Tasting today and it was phenomenal. The wine and cheese board was excellent, but what stood out most was Rochelle’s hospitality. Rochelle guided us through tasting these lovely wines, while also making it a relaxing and comfortable experience, like you were at home. We would highly recommend booking this tasting with Rochelle :)

My wife and I visited Signorello Estate on our engagement trip to Napa. We were shocked to hear that the infinity pool area was reserved for wine club members or if you purchased 6 bottles of wine. Our hostess was very kind and allowed us to sit by the pool when she heard that we had just got engaged the day before - but without sitting put on the patio overlooking the infinity pool, this would have been a very disappointing stop. The tasting room is nice - but feels very commercial, and the tasting itself felt very abrupt and rushed compared to other wineries we visited.

Google
What a wonderful afternoon with an outstanding wine educator. Signorello is a small family winery and everyone does everything. As a result they know all aspects of the business and have much to share. The wines are unique and following the loss of their facility in last year's fire they are truly rising out of the ashes with exciting new plans to complement their outstanding wines.

Yelp
We walked in on a Saturday late afternoon, reserved a window table for 6pm (about), returned and had an excellent meal with a perfect view of the bay. The food was great, altho the service was slow. We finally requested boxes to half what we ordered home. The waiter scooped food carelessly into the boxes (1 his, 1 mine) and baked the dessert which they gave us unbaked! Amazing. Not sure we'll ever return.

Yelp
I would say the private tasting here is one of the best I e had. It's very personable and Tim was great! When we first pulled up I was a little disheartened and i was afraid my group would be disappointed as there was only a trailer parked. When we arrived Tim came out to greet our party and we immediately seated and welcomed with a nice chilled glass of white to start off. Then he led us outside and whisked us away in a golf cart to tour the vineyards and gave us a bit of history about the land, grapes and remodel (should be up and running in 3 years!). There were picturesque views from up top. Upon arriving back into the trailer, a lovely table was set for our tasting along with a nicely prepared tray of food to go along with the wines. It was also nice of them to prepare an extra plate of food for one person in our party who wasn't drinking. Both Edgar and Tim did a great job of introducing each wine and the food paired really well with the wine! Would totally recommend this place and tour. Very reasonably priced for what u get. And we are already looking forward to returning for the state of the art remodel and checking out the new wine caves!!

Yelp
We absolutely loved this winery. They charge $100 per person which is high compared to other wineries but it's worth it. The views are spectacular. They start with a glass of wine, continue with tour of the property, tastings with cheese pairings and beautiful outdoor space with a pool. The lady who was giving us the 2+ hr tasting was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and funny. We got to sit outside and enjoy the sun. It was great.

Yelp
Great place to visit if you plan to do some wine tasting in the Napa Valley. Decide what tasting you want, and you can even take your glass out back by he infinity pool and enjoy vineyard views, come back in, and get your next tasting, etc. The staff at Signorello are very personable as well, not like some of their snooty neighbors in the valley. A pizza oven is currently being installed out on the back and starting May 15, Signorello will be doing wine and pizza on the patio. stop by Signorello Estate if you haven't been yet...Its definitely worth it! Yelp
Absolutely love the Infinity Pool, it was blue-skies all the way...gorgeous & breathtaking. There were foreigners ready to dive in with almost nothing on, as if they could go swimming hahaha! The manager had to advise them to stay out of the water & stay clothed. They were some friendly tourists or were they too tipsy, hmmmmm! It's so laid back, I thought the staff were coming out to barbeque us a meal. The experience is a must, I'm so glad some of us ladies stayed behind to explore Signorello! The combination of the afternoon sun and wines were draining us by the end of the day. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/signorello-estate-napa?select=dUQRBAByCoKRXPc0B3Cqcw

Yelp
I contacted Signorello about doing the Enoteca, a five course food and wine lunch. Cost is $175/person. It was our anniversary and wanted to do something special. I sent an email to make reservations and received a response from Grace who wanted me to call her so she can provide more information. My wife called and was told that it was expected we purchase at least 5 bottles of wine, varying from $70-$200 if we were to be a part of the lunch. She said she cannot "hold us to it" but that it is expected. She made a point to say this multiple times in the conversation. This was an immediate turn off and poor form for customer service. In fact, during our three day stay in Napa we told this story to every Winery we went to and everyone was flabbergasted about it. We have been coming to the Valley for over 12 years. Been to at least 150 different wineries, from lower end to extreme high end and have NEVER been told that there was a mandatory bottle purchase. EVER. Shame on this Winery and their attempt at gouging after people are already spending $400/couple on the lunch alone. Take this place off the list. I am making a point to tell everyone I come in contact with in the Valley about this Winery and their actions. Maybe pressure from other places will have them change their policy. **UPDATE*** Please See my next review on the response from the winery to this. They were very gracious and incredible!

Yelp
I had read an article that the best food was at a winery called signorello. I had tried to reserve on our last trip, but it was booked well in advance. We sat down inside and were treated to an amazing lunch by a chef named Britny (Thanks mom for the different spelling). Anywho, from start to finish, her creations were beautiful. She paired them well with the wines. I think she may have the coolest job on the planet since she gets to shop in the morning and make whatever she wants. Actually I think our tour leader has the best job to eat these wonderful meals with us. We would go back in a heartbeat. The only reasons I didn't give them a 5 star were that the food was more of a standout than the wine. And I wish we could have enjoyed the meal outside. Those are just personal preferences. You will not be disappointed if you go here.

Yelp
Hands down, the best wine and food pairing and winery experience I've ever had! I was with a group of girls for a bachelorette party and we did the Piattini Signorello tasting which included 5 wines (and even more) paired with the most scrumptious tasty bites ever. I want to walk you through my experience... As we were enjoying the view and beauty outside, we were greeted by the wine connoisseur with our first tasting which included 2 tastings of white wine plus an olive tepenade crostini amuse bouche. He then explained to us the history of the vineyards and the story behind the owners. He then brought us to a stunning private room where we enjoyed this: 2013 Chardonnay with heirloom tomatoes and burrata 2012 Pinot Noir with pork belly slider 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon with kobe beef 2012 Padrone with fiscalini aged cheddar I can't tell you which dish or wine I enjoyed the best, because I loved them all! The tomatoes were so fresh just picked that morning, the burrata melted in your mouth, the pork belly was cooked to perfection, the kobe beef was so juicy and mouth watering, and you can never go wrong with fiscalini cheese (one of my faves)! After we were done, we were asked if we wanted to try any more wines, basically getting "all you can drink." Although the tasting was rather on the more expensive side ($110), it was well worth it! Everyone in the party enjoyed themselves and there were zero complaints (hard to do with an all girls bachelorette party of 7). Oh, and we took some AMAZING pictures outside!

Yelp
What's more amazing than wine tasting in Napa Valley at a beautiful estate with an infinity pool at sunset with your friends? Jacqueline Lockie. She is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and the reason I will come back to Signorello Estate. (This review should have been written two months ago when we went, but life doesn't stop for you to write reviews sometimes, so you have to revisit those great memories later and write one!) We arrived a couple minutes before sunset at our last stop during our little wine tasting adventure in Napa. We stopped by the bar and picked out the wine tasting package, met the lovely Jacqueline and proceeded to sit outside by the pool to enjoy our first glass. You come back to the bar when you're finished to pick up your next glass. We wanted to take a group picture and Jacqueline suggested we come back to her when we're on our last glass (red) and the sun will be setting by then. She also describes and gives a little background on each of the wines you taste On our last glass and with the sun setting, we returned to her. She proceeded to walk us outside, when she realized, one of our friend doesn't have a wine glass in his hand, he wasn't drinking that day. So she runs back in, fills a glass and tells him to hold it as prop (which one of us later got to finish). Once we handed Jacqueline the camera, it was like we stepped into her own little backyard studio. She knew all the places, poses, and angles to shoot. We had a bunch of great shots and memories, thanks to her. Ever notice how hard it is to get a good group photo when asking randoms? They usually turn out blurry, off-centered or they cut off all of your feet. Very disappointing in some people's ability to take photos. Jacqueline, on the other hand, was great! Thanks for your great service and energetic personality! We will definitely be coming back here!

Yelp
I rate Signorello Estate Winery 5 of 5 stars. I first visited Signorello Estate over a year ago discovering it quite by accident. I was zipping along the Silverado Trail in Napa when I noticed for the first time their large street sign and had a chance to look up the hill to see the winery. Arriving at the winery-atop-the-hill, I was impressed by the compact but attractive building and hugely surprised to see the patio deck complete with an endless pool. In the tasting room, I can tell you that I enjoyed everything I tried, bought several bottles and made a mental note to return. In the coming months, I tried to get into Signorello's parking lot two or three times without success, hey, these guys are popular! Note to self, come back early in the day. My second (successful) visit to Signorello happened recently with me sitting outside their closed gate at 10:00:00. Arriving in the parking lot, I was again struck with the simple elegance and beauty of this facility. In the tasting room, I was greeted by Jacqueline who assisted me with a basic set of tastings. I was really impressed with everything I tasted. Jacqueline suggested that we move outside onto the patio for some additional tasting which was the best idea I've heard in a long time. It was a beautiful morning with a perfect temperature to sit in the shade by the endless pool. What is usually a 20 minute tasting experience slowed way down to nearly 2 hours of wonderful tasting, comparing, re-tasting and pondering choices. Jacqueline is a high energy person in constant motion helping and advising guests. So, how did it turn out? I enjoyed everything that I tasted and can say without doubt, Signorello Estate wines are in the very high end of quality. I bought a bottle of: 2007 Padrone, 2008 Padrone, 1996 Petite Sirah and a 2010 Chardonnay Hope's Cuvee. Oh, I also signed up for the wine club and will be attending this year's club event for the Harvest.

Yelp
This is by far one of the most beautiful wineries I've been to in Napa. Perfect venue to sit back, enjoy the scenic view, munch on some snacks, and of course wine tasting! It's a little out of the way compared to some of the other wineries in Napa, but the view alone is worth the drive. It's located just off of Silverado Trail, and there is a security gate where guests have to be buzzed in. Once inside, you have the choice of being seated outside by the pool. It is on the pricier end but it is well worth going at least once when you visit Napa! Be prepared to be pampered!

Yelp
Ahhh, the joys of coming to Napa off season. Autumn Napa is gorgeous in a riot of colors, reds, oranges and golds. And the wineries are fairly quiet and uncrowded, leading to heavier pours and personal attention. We probably would not have tried Signorello if the server at Luna had not recommended them for their "Big Reds', which I love. They are right down Silverado Trail from Luna and we were there in minutes. The sommelier was very attentive and friendly. She was also striking in a beautiful black sweater that, um, really sold the wine for us. Hubby and I were enthralled with her, er, bountiful knowledge. I don't know if that sweater was a deliberate ploy to mesmerize the customers, but we are suckers for that sort of "hard sell". We walked out with a Zin. Anyway, as we were chatting with her, the winemaker came in. We spent quite awhile talking to Pierre about his background in France, what he is doing for Signorello and about his previous trips to Austin, where he loves him some brisket. And this is why I love Napa off season. It's so much more personal and intimate. Highly recommended if you love big, juicy, lucious....reds like I do!

Yelp
The estate is absolutely gorgeous. Just relaxing on the patio and looking out over the valley makes it worth the trip. The tasting menu was nice and affordable, but I didn't feel like I got the most extensive lesson on wine. The Seta is fabulous and is what got me hooked about this place. I'll be back if only to track down another bottle of it, and to resume my relaxing poolside perch. (Visit: Jan/11)

Yelp
Cozy estate winery with breathtaking views of the wine country. Ambiance is perfect and relaxing especially on a beautiful spring day. My husband & I enjoyed the tour and wine tasting with Tim. The wines and cheese pairing were delicious. We had our wine tasting inside their rustic tasting room. After weeks of rain in the Bay Area, we were so lucky that our visit to Signorello was on a beautiful warm and sunny day. We were able to enjoy a glass of wine and relax on their gorgeous patio area which has an amazing infinity pool overlooking their vineyard. After years of wine tasting in the Napa Valley, this is by far our favorite winery.

Yelp
Signorello Estate is by far one the most beautiful wineries I have been to. The views overlook all of Napa Valley; from the top of the hill, pool side with a glass of Seta (the chard and semillon blend) what could be better?! Oh, perhaps a slider of Kobe beef prepared by their onsite Chef in one of the Enoteca's?! I think yes. The wines are all absoultley amazing, delicious and will leave you begging for another sip. This is not the place to be frugal. I think the Seta and the Rose are my favorites, though I am a sucker for a great Chardonnay and this one is not lacking in the French Oak and creamy qualities. Taste at the bar with the delightful staff; Kathy and danny are truly wonderful to chat with :) Sit on the patio out back with the stunning views and enjoy one of the Enotecas.. worth every penny ($65/person) for a nice lunch in the Napa Valley. (Who said sonomans can't go to the other side?! For a visit.....:-p)

Yelp
WOW! I drove past here this Saturday and we turned around because it looked like a cool place to taste! WE WERE RIGHT! We walked in and were greated by a super nice guy, Joe. I think. Younger guy, super friendly and really knew his stuff. We did the $15 tasting of about 5 wines. I must say, they were all very tasty. Especially the Zin for $38 which we brought home. There were bigger parties there and they brought them out to the pool area. They ushually have a wine and food pairing for about $30 i think..but it was closed because they had a wine member event. All and all the estate was beautiful and normally you CAN go outside...not sure what the other reviewer was saying... My recommendation: Go with friends on the weekend and call ahead to do the wine and food pairing. Awesome wines and great service!

Yelp
Out of all my Napa visits to date, Signorello has got to be my favorite winery. Sure, it is not as grandiose as some of the popular wineries but the staff here is FUN and the wine is delicious. We came on a late Saturday afternoon and was served by Don (the.best.wine-server/manager.ever.) Don was super friendly, humorous, laid-back and professional. It was nearing closing time and so we were the only group there, so we really got to interact with the staff, who all seemed to get along very well and joked around with each other a lot. Jason (Jay?) was also a ball of fun to talk to. They also play a lot of modern pop music, making it an even more down-to-earth visit. Hanging out and drinking wine with those guys was like having a mini party in the tasting room! We did the Estate Tasting and enjoyed every one of them. He did pour us a few other wines that were off the menu (I was a little too tipsy to remember which ones), but I did remember loving them and ended up taking a bottle home. They have a small infinity pool in the back and has a nice panoramic view of many other vineyards sandwiched between Silverado and Highway 29. It is the perfect place to sit down, sip on some wine and chitchat with some friends. I am no wine expert, but I do know that the wine is only half of the wine tasting experience - you need a fabulous server to complete the whole package. I strongly recommend coming here if you're looking for wineries for your visit - GREAT people and quality wine in a fun, intimate and relaxing environment. I shall return!!!! THANK YOU Don!!! :)

Yelp
The views are worth five stars, but that's about it. Our wine tour driver took us here knowing the views were great, but warned us that the actual experience might not be so good. And he was right. We asked if we could do the wine tasting outside on the patio, and actually enjoy the view, but were instead told we would have to do it inside, in their nondescript and rather boring tasting room. And the server was clearly not interested in us at all. He would pour a wine, tell us what it was (sometimes), and then walk away. Never asked any questions, never told us about the wines at all. After a quick ten minute tasting we walked out onto the patio and took some great pictures. If you want to stop for the view, its worth it, but skip the rest.
google avatar

Nadia L.

Yelp
The wine here was alright, nothing spectacular at least in my perspective but that could have been me just being super tired at the end of the day since this was the last stop on our wine tour. All I remember was nothing stood out enough for me to buy it. However...on another note, the drive up and the views from Signorello are fantastic. From the top where the tasting room is located you can go down to the vineyards and check out the grapes on the vine up close and personal. Also in the back there is a beautiful infinity pool which leads your eye to gorgeous mountain backdrop. -1 for there only being ONE unisex bathroom in the place. -1 for the staff definitely being the least friendly out of all the wineries we visited -1 for taking my friend's wine away before they were done and pouring it out Why 3 stars still you ask? THE VIEWS...they get an extra star just for the views.

Yelp
Exclusive. Obtain a private appointment and come here to enjoy wine tasting with cheese/nuts/dried fruit paring. Seating is outdoors, next to an infinity pool overlooking the vineyard and beautiful Napa Valley. Wines are exquisite and you can truly learn to challenge your flavor pallet and develop your taste for wine. Incredible service and hospitality. Your opinion of wines will forever change. Bottle are $75 and up if you wish to take some home or give as a gift.

Yelp
I recently proposed to my fiancée here. A few weeks before our trip to Napa, I did some research online and decided to call Signorello. I spoke with Angela, the events manager and expressed my desire on proposing to my girlfriend there. She was extremely helpful and made me feel very at ease with the planning of this occasion (the entire staff at the Estate was wonderful). Once we arrived the day of, she was waiting for us and welcomed us with open arms. We were given a quick tour of the property and enjoyed a glass of wine by the infinity pool. The views from there are spectacular; some of the best in the valley. Afterwards, Angela took us to a private table in the second floor balcony set up with flowers, food, and more wine. We really appreciated this because it had an even more intimate feel. This is where I proposed. Overall, the wine was very good, food was delicious, views of the valley are magnificent, and the staff was great. Great place to visit with your significant other or with a group of friends. Highly recommend it to spend an afternoon there, relax by the pool, and drink some good wine. We will definitely go back in our future trips to Napa.

Yelp
Signorello Estate is a reservations only winery and is quite the popular venue for private Google and Raiders parties. The views are spectacular and although the tasting is quite expensive compared to other wineries, it is quite the experience. The infinity pool with the view of the valley in the background is breathtaking. Given the price and the facilities, the staff here is surprisingly accommodating and helpful. One might expect some attitude but not here. It's unfortunate that the pool is off limits (liability issue) but its great for photos. If you want a truly unique experience for yourself, a loved one or friends from out of town, then surprise them with a visit here.

Yelp
Wow!!! I can't believe I'm the first Yelper to find this gem!! Okay so all the wines we had here were yummy, and (better yet) affordable. The grounds have a neverending pool looking out into the vineyards, and the place is simply beautiful. The best part was that the staff were "normal" people, not snobby in the least bit, and that really impressed me the most. GO GO GO GO GO!!!!!!
google avatar

Rachel E.

Yelp
I have visited Signorello twice now and both times were really good from a visit perspective, but I'm not a big fan of their wines. In general their bottles are pricey and need to be put away for a long time before they're ready to drink. We tasted cab blends from 05, 06, 07, and 08 and they definitely need more time. They have a regular tasting ($25) and a reserve tasting ($35) so definitely on the pricier side. The regular tasting is a mix of white and red, the reserve is all red. They comp one tasting with purchase, but I think their policy is a little stingy in that regard. The first time we stood at the counter which was great for chatting with the staff. The second time we were a big group so we sat outside on the patio. I definitely recommend sitting on the patio, it's gorgeous and has great views! Service here is a strong point and the staff are consistently attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly.

Mellissa B.

Yelp
This was the priciest tasting we had but worth it! The staff was incredible! Impeccable service. We arrived early and things weren't quite open yet, but they let us sneak in before the reservations began on our Anniversary. SO sweet. The staff was as friendly and attentive as it gets. A gentleman literally ran to get to the door before me so he could open it. Breathtaking view! Nothing else like it.
google avatar

Azizi A.

Yelp
I really enjoy this place on a warm afternoon. You could purchase a glass of wine & sit outback by the infinity pool and enjoy a gorgeous view. They also have a wood burning oven so you could have some crispy Italian pizza with that wine & view for lunch. I would like to come back for a wine & food pairing. I heard the chef is pretty good here.

Yelp
I had a truly lovely wine tasting experience at Signorello Estate the past weekend. Passing by all the nice landscape on route 29 and to find out that the estate was atop a hill. It was gorgeous. The winery was quaint and there was a nice size pool in the courtyard. It was a full house once we arrived, and it wasn't too long until we were greeted by the staffs. We were brought to a reserved area where we were given a menu to choose from. My boyfriend and I decided to try the private reserves which had a mixture of red and white wines. We were given six different bottles (ranging from 06, 08, 10, 12) to taste along with some appetizers. The lady who was really informative and was kind enough to let us sample another wine not listed on the menu, allowing us taste seven different wine. We ended up purchasing one Merlot and Chardannay. Overall experience was excellent!

Yelp
The staff are exceptionally wonderful. Even after my second trip here they knew my name and treated me like family. Everyone is so open to what you're up to and when you're gonna return. The view is Phenomenal. As a wine club member, you can come and enjoy the patio and wave pool while digesting a gorgeous view of the Southern Valley off Silverado Trail. Jason, Cole and all the remaining tasting room associates that I didnt mention are the biggest reasons I keep going back here every time I visit Napa. The wine obviously is a great treat to enjoy with the eye candy mentioned earlier!
google avatar

Denise B.

Yelp
Tasting room was open and inviting and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. But on a Saturday morning at 11am, we were the only party in there, and as much fun as we had, the 10 of us, it would have been more fun if there was more interaction with maybe other people??? Wine was great though and as stated earlier, everything else was good. Just wondering why the place was so empty?
google avatar

Yelp
This was our first tasting stop in Napa. The grounds are beautiful! The tasting room was rather small and loud (techno music playing?), but we enjoyed our flamboyant wine server. He was very informative and memorable. We were able to take our glasses outside to enjoy the patio and infinity pool views. Spectacular! The wines we tasted were DELISH, although very pricey by the bottle. I enjoyed them all but could only afford to buy a bottle of the entry level wine ($50). Loved the experience, would recommend it. Definitely recommend staying on the Silverado Trail- great views, great wineries.

Yelp
We recently wine tasted on the patio near the pool. It was extremely relaxing and informative. Our Host was the winemakers wife and very professional and charming. A great view and nice wine.

Yelp
Truly an exceptional experience in every way!! Pleasant and very helpful staff. Best value--the unfiltered Cab. With Padrone being the ultimate red!! Whites are some of the best values I have seen!! DEFINITELY A MUST!!!
google avatar

Carol D.

Yelp
I love Signorello! They have some of the best wine (especially their Zinfandel and Pinot Noir). The tasting is $10 and no appointment necessary. Signorello is located on the Silverado Trail away from the high tourist traffic on highway 29. Our hosts were very hospitable and informative. Most of the wine is sold only at the winery, so stock up while you are there. Highly recommended!!!!
google avatar

Janette W.

Yelp
We decided to make Signorello our first stop in Napa because of its perch on the Silverado Trail and I'm glad we did. The grounds are simply stunning and despite the rain we still found time to enjoy them. Inside the layout is designed to be very intimate, almost like visiting a friend with a really nice house. The server was very informative and managed to strike the balance between conveying knowledge and talking too much.

Yelp
This was a lovely vineyard that had delicious wine and a very good cheese platter. I liked the cucumber water inside, too. Minus 1 star because the pool was a waste of space (guests can't use it). I also could've done without the 238570234 wine glass changes during our tasting -- I'm no sommelier, so sticking with 1 or 2 glasses during a wine tasting is fine by me. I think I felt a little rushed to finish quickly because of the wine glass tango/magic trick/hot potato/musical chairs game.

Yelp
Bold & Beautiful is the best way to describe this Silverado winery. The wines, especially the cabs are bold, refreshing and smooth. The Syrah is a special treat as it is mixed with Viognier, giving it a crisp sweetness to the finish. We walked away with a bottle of Zinfandel. The setting is beautiful and bosts spectacular views of the valley. Classic Tasting - $10 Reserve Cab Tasting - $20 (highly recommended)

Yelp
Definitely the best wine experience of the trip. You have to reserve but it's well worth it. The pool-side seats were fab and the view, over the cascading infinity pool, is stunning. We did the tasting and Antipasti pairing. These wines are fabulous. And the Signorello family story is compelling. All in all a very worthwhile stop. Make sure you talk to Natalie - very knowledgable and personable. Make the appointment and go! We were trying to avoid making appointments but it turns out that is the best way to go in Napa.

Yelp
Let me start by saying the girl who served us was relatively new to the job and was already fantastic. She was attentive and informative. Unfortunately the wines were not great. The whites were a bit fruity for my taste - too much pear I think? The pinot was actually pretty good, but not as full as I'd prefer. The Cabs weren't too good. They weren't very bold and didn't have much depth. Everyone has different preferences, but there Cabs were a little light for me. This place is probably worth stopping by if you are in the area as the property is wonderful, the staff is fun and polite and you don't need an appointment.

Yelp
Took a friend from the UK here who has never been to the wine country and what a treat. This place is set up a little bit higher on a hill, so you can enjoy your tastings on the patio near the pool over looking the valley. Such a beautiful view! They are very accommodating and causal, not at all uptight. They even suggest after each poor to go out and enjoy the view and come back for your next poor! I also saw that groups of people were getting their tastings right on the patio at their picnic tables. Great place for a beautiful day outdoors! Oh and the wine was great too.... :P Bought a white wine of some sorts, I think a Chardonnay but can't remember, I was out there in Feb.

Yelp
Talk about a beautiful setting straight from the movies. An infinity pool, a vine covered building with open and airy tasting room and they even brought my pup ice water while we were tasting outside. Joseph was considerate, friendly, knowledgeable and gave us the best service. I would book this place for a wedding, private event or just about anything.

Yelp
We didn't have the greatest experience here and the wines were 'ok.' I am not a wine snob by any means and honestly don't know much about it but I know enough to feel this was not my preferred taste. Pluses: Not too crowded. Relatively attentive winetender. Minuses: Other patrons seemed kind of pretentious... I probably would not come back here but I wouldn't necessarily dissuade others from doing so! :)

Yelp
Absolutely breathtaking! After visiting 2 other local wineries, this place took the cake. WOW is all I have to say. What a beautiful entrance and pool terrace to sit and sip on some of the best wine I've ever had in my life. I wish I remembered her name, but our wine guide was very knowledgeable and friendly - she made the experience extra special. We went on a Sunday afternoon and only 2 other people were there. I will definitely be back when I visit again, quite possibly for the food pairing tour?! Talk about a beautiful setting for a wedding or proposal.

Yelp
On our trip to Napa we only visited wineries that did not require an appointment, so we stopped in at Signorello. Their wines were very delicious but of course very pricey as well. The guy serving us was very weird, and not in a good way. I would not go back here due to the expensive wine and the jerk off that served us.

Yelp
Came here on Saturday after Jarvis (which was pretty hard to follow) but this winery did not disappoint at all. We came for the Pizza and Cab lunch ($35 a person) and we had an amazing time. Sitting outside in the perfect Napa weather and eating all- you-can-eat pizza with a waitress constantly filling up my wine glass with new wines.... what more could you ask for?! We bought the 2005 bottle of their Cab for $56 (it was far better than their 04 or 06)

Yelp
What a great birthday celebration! I took my boyfriend here for their Enoteca Signorello experience for his birthday, and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It started with a brief tour of the vineyards and we learned about the history surrounding the place and its owner. We even sampled a grape or two. Jason was our host, and he kept it light and fun. He was very knowledgeable, but was able to make the whole experience feel very casual and comfortable. It felt as if we were all just hanging out on a lovely summer day - and we were joined by other guests who were lovely as well. After the tour we sat in their private tasting room -- we sampled 6 different wines while we were there (one during the tour). Each wine was paired with a dish in a four course lunch we had. Everything tasted divine. We started with sauteed shrimp and garden tomatoes over a heavenly cauliflower puree. That came with a sauvignon blanc and a chardonnay (their 2010 Hope's Cuvee was my favorite of the day). After that we had lamb over roasted pepper couscous paired with a Syrah. And I finally got to see what the hype was about Wagyu beef (served over smashed potatoes and swiss chard -- which we saw grown in their own garden!). That was paired with their 2006 and 2008 Padrones...Jason explained the need for protein to be paired with these...and it was just delightful how the flavors changed with the food we were served. Wonderful pairings, and the whole thing was just delicious. We ended with a cheesecake with fresh peaches...which I wish I had some more of right now. :) We had a really wonderful time, and even though we were told it would be about 2 hours, they really let us sit and relax, and I think we were there for well over those 2 hours allotted. Great wine, great food, and great company. Would definitely do this again.

Yelp
First off, I may be biased in reviewing this place since I got the wine tastings paired with some chocolates for free. If you are a Lexus owner or knows someone who owns a Lexus, be sure to set an appointment with the Lexus drivers website so Signorello can treat you nicely. Signorello does not accept any walk-ins during the weekdays as Rebecca, our personal pourer told me so we were the only ones there. Rebecca took us to the patio area, where the infinity pool resides, and seated us at a table overlooking the Napa valley. Already staring at us were our wines & chocolates. Yum! The wines were all reds, no whites: zinfandel, cabernet sauvignon, syrah & merlot. The Yelpers are right in that the wines are ok and not particularly memorable. What was memorable was the chocolates. they're great! I'm not sure if I would pay the $20 for a tasting though with those wines.

Yelp
Beautiful winery with questionable service and horrible smells. A group of us went wine tasting for a girlfriend's bachelorette celebration and this was our second winery of the day. Upon entering Signorello we noticed a rancid smell yet the beauty of the infinity pool and scenery of Napa Valley quieted our initial uncertainties of the winery. We were seated for our wine tastings and the rancid smells wafted in and out throughout our tasting. It was difficult to enjoy the wines when such putrid smells took over the environment. Aside from the smells, Mark was incredibly pushy, rude, and condescending. We also caught him lying about the price of the tasting and my friend had to show him the price that was sent to us by the owner via email. He told us he was doing us a favor by reducing the price. I liked the Pinot noir so I purchased a bottle to take home. He continued to hassle us to purchase more wine and continued to tell us that he was doing us such a big favor by reducing the price even after we showed Mark the email again. Then fruit flies started attacking us from everywhere. Fruit flies landed in our wine glasses and when we asked to have our glasses replaced there was irritation and hesitation from the host and other winery staff. One glass was replaced while 3 other requests were ignored. We left this beautiful winery feeling irritated and exhausted from Mark's behaviors and overall lack of class.

Yelp
I am a napa valley resident and enjoy going wine tasting when I have the time to do so on my weekends. I have been to many wineries and the one thing I look for (besides the quality of wine) is costomer service......which I did not receive very much of at Signorello, The woman who poured for my friends and I could not have been more uninterested in discussing the wines, or even acting as though she enjoyed the fact that we were even there! We enjoyed the wine very much, thus the 2 stars. but I would not go back there again for quite some time, and I may have enjoyed the wines but I did not purchase anything because in my opinion, she did not deserve that benefit. Hopefully she will find her calling somewhere else....
