Silverlake Ramen - Review - Midtown - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"This ramen chain from Los Angeles has locations all over the country, including this one in Midtown. And accordingly, the dining room looks like a snapshot from a corporate overlord’s vision board. The ramen, which makes up the majority of their menu, is an unenthusiastic copy-and-paste as well. If you are here for a quick ramen lunch, get the Shoyu on Fire. It's the best option because the chicken stock broth is a little spicy and there’s a hint of lime flavor. Otherwise, skip these bowls of mildly flavored broth and stick to the slightly better appetizers like crispy rice topped with spicy tuna or a pork bun stuffed with chunks of pork belly and a nice hoisin mayo. Food Rundown photo credit: Juli Horsford Shoyu On Fire Like we said, this is the best of the ramen options here. Lime and jalapeño give this noodle bowl some character, so you don't have to doctor it much. Classic None of the meats are standouts in the ramen, but avoid the pork on this one because it’s tough. The pork stock broth isn’t creamy or watery, just kind of an in between “meh” with little flavor. Edamame One of the safest orders here, which should mean something. photo credit: Juli Horsford Crispy Rice With Spicy Tuna This is exactly what it sounds like. The crispy rice squares have a nice kick from the thick jalapeño slice on top, and then the avocado slice cools things off. photo credit: Juli Horsford Pork Bun The buns are another safe bet. This pork belly is cooked the way it should be (tender) and has a nice hoisin mayo to keep things moist." - Juli Horsford

Atmosphere was very downtown atlanta. Service was almost terrible. We were unable to flag our waiter down when there was something missing in our ramen. The food though will definitely cause me to come back and try again.

Google
The ramen here was delicious, flavorful, great portion, and fresh. Customer service was awesome as well. I had a mango margarita to get started and it did not disappoint.

Google
Not a bad place at all the vibes were really good . Music was great! Also the $5 mimosas all day is an extra plus !!! I’m just sad they don’t have chicken dumplings. Side note If you’re looking for actual ramen it’s not here. The noodle is more thin spaghetti like .

Google
I visited Silverlake Ramen with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience fell short. They offer an Americanized twist on traditional ramen, which I found to be a drawback compared to places like Hajime or Jinya. I ordered the Shoyu Blaze ramen, and it was quite disappointing—just one slice of Chashu, half an egg, and a grilled jalapeño that didn’t add much to the dish. As for the truffle ramen, it was lackluster and not worth mentioning. The only highlight of my meal was the chicken kimchi buns, which were enjoyable. However, the service, while slow, was friendly. Overall, considering the prices and quality, you can definitely find much better ramen options in the metro Atlanta area. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for a satisfying bowl of ramen.

Friendly staff. Tasty ramen. Enjoyable appetizers. A bar. Late night hours. I would come here again next time I’m visiting the ATL.

Google
I had the Blaze Ramen with Pork Bun. Phenomenal. I had it medium as you can choose from 3 different levels of heat. They had chopsticks that were kinda of square instead of the round ones. Mellow music in background was relaxing while I ate the awesome food. Full of Flavor!

Google
This is a 5-star review for a takeout option. I'd lower it to 4.2 stars if I had a sitdown option because of the noodles. But I assume they use something closer to traditional noodles in that case. Everything else was pretty close to perfect: the pork bun, the ramen broth and pork, etc. The size is generous as well.

Google
Fantastic, simple ramen joint right in the middle of Atlanta! My guest and I were looking for good Japanese food open late after a local concert and this was the perfect pick, one of the only places still keeping its doors open until scheduled closing the night of Hurricane Helene. We tried the Garlic Truffle Ramen and the Blaze Ramen, with Fried Gyoza and Creamy Broccoli as our appetizers, and all were fantastic - great flavor and good portions. The Garlic Truffle broth in particular was absolutely delicious and I recommend it to anyone looking for something unique. Try this place out if you're looking for good ramen!

Yelp
We ordered delivery about 40 minutes before delivery time closed. We were missing 4 items; order of churros, chili paste, black garlic oil, and ghost pepper kimchi. How could so many items be missed? If you don't have the items, there is an option to mark that on the uber tablet to alert the customer, so they can decide if they want the order and there's an option to refund those items on the restaurant's end. My friend had the Cajun ramen and said it was just "okay". I had the veggie ramen and it was bland and really needed the missing condiments to add flavor. A very disappointing experience.

Yelp
I'm still pretty new to the ramen world & my favorite Hajime is super far from me so I've decided to venture outside of my comfort zone. Silverlake did not disappoint! I got the combo that comes with an appetizer & ramen for $22. I ordered the shoyu spice level 2 (a little hotter than I thought) & the fried chicken (can't remember the correct name). The ramen was bursting with flavor & super spicy- had my nose running the quality of the ingredients was very good & the service was great as well. I also grabbed a $5 mango margarita from their all day $5 menu. Definitely a new favorite for me! Can't wait to visit again.

Yelp
Silverlake is a solid spot for a good bowl.of ramen. I had the crispy rice with spicy tuna as an appetizer and the most amazing bowl of garlic truffle ramen. I tend to lean more towards spicy ramen, but the garlic truffle here is a new favorite. The flavor was so perfect I almost turned to bowl up for the final bits. I came on a Saturday afternoon and was one of few patrons, so service was very attentive. Can be a good place to come watch a game if you're trying to avoid busier spots nearby. They also validate parking.

Yelp
I have been here twice- on a Friday & Saturday night. Entrance In a suite on a busy main street. Double Glass doors. Parking No parking lot. Street or paid parking deck. One parking deck priced at $3 per 20 min Order & Price () Appetizer & Entre Combo Pork bun & blaze ramen = $20 Pork bun & shoyu on fire ramen mild = $20 Pros Sat fast, walked right in and sat down at the bar. The second visit I walked in and was sat immediately as well. Pork bun was delicious. The bun was as soft as a pillow. The shoyu on fire mild is good- not too hot not too plain. Cons No parking lot. Not a fan of the blaze ramen. Dont like the creamy broth. The extra side of noodles I got were too aldente- I did not eat them. Would I Recommend Yes, this is a perfect late night budget meal. The ramen was good but not a favorite. Have had better ramen elsewhere but the late hours, pricing, and quick service makes this trip worth it. Follow me here on Yelp, and @jessreviewss on Instagram & Tik Tok for more.

Yelp
My party of 4 and i had a wonderful experience here. The food was amazing but a bit more pricey than other Ramen spots, definitely worth it though. The ambience is very casual, great for couples and small groups. I wouldn't come here with a group greater than 6 (there's only 1 table big enough to seat 10 ppl). 2-4 ppl is perfect. The service is A1 5/5 I would definitely come back.

Yelp
I went here with my boyfriend for some late night ramen in the city. There is a reasonable priced parking garage right around the corner but we forgot to ask if they validate. After walking in, the waitress said we could choose our seats so we sat near the back at a middle table. They have pork, chicken, and tofu options for all their ramen and a combo deal that comes with an appetizer. I got the Classic Ramen with chicken and my boyfriend got the Shoyu on Fire with chicken. We split an order of the fried gyozas and the sauce that came with them was FIRE. The ramen itself was awesome as well, and definitely satisfied our craving. They had upbeat r&b music playing which made the vibe of the restaurant even more enjoyable. I'd definitely suggest Silverlake if you're looking for some good ramen in Atlanta.

Yelp
Had lunch yesterday at Silverlake ramen. I was literally the only one there. Service was good. Ramen was fine but not memorable in any way. Just kinda basic good ramen. Now I am spoiled from having ramen in Japan , NYC and LA. So maybe I'm a snob lol.

Yelp
Came on a Saturday after 10pm, I sat myself and was serviced quickly. I got the $20 dine-in combo and chose the pork bun and classic ramen. Food came out fast...the pork on the pork bun was tough and the bun was not hot but cold & dry. The ramen broth was very mid...not flavorful enough for my taste. I'd say it's one step above the ramen at Tin Drum...which isn't saying much. Definitely not a contender in the "best ramen of atl" race. The pork in the ramen was more tender, probably because it was more fatty. I enjoyed the noodles, they had great texture and a homemade taste. The noodles got this review to 3 stars. Inside decor is cool, nothing special. I parked on the street which was free after 10 but I also saw a parking lot on Crescent.

Yelp
A nice ramen gem in midtown across from Cafe Intermezzo. The ramen broth is rich and flavorful while the noodles are chewy and housemade. With a full bar, Silverlake kicks up the traditional ramen menu with other fantastic and filling options: chicken karaage (Japanese fried chicken thigh), rice bowls, gyozas, salads and other apps that will be a refreshing addition to your entree. Service was attentive, warm, and welcoming. Dwayne recommended some of his favs on the menu and allowed me to try some fresh-house-made sauces: ghost pepper kimchi, roasted pepper paste, and a chili paste designed for the rice bowls. Silverlake is lucky to have such a friendly and knowledgeable employee!

Yelp
So I happened to be in midtown so figured I would stop in. They have a decent sized shop, and a little outdoor seating too. They have a full bar, kinda full, but enough options. The bartender was super nice and explained all the ins and outs and well as his favorite dishes. They have really affordable drinks on the menu, and they also have a decent selection of sake (if you are into that). Garlic truffle ramen with chicken and pork (added chili paste for spice) and the gyoza (fried). The gills that came with a spicy mayo that was really good! Have some kick to it. The garlic truffle ramen was good, I added some chili paste to give it more kick as well and it really showed out. The only thing I would probably say would be the fact that the meat wasn't as tender as I would have liked it to be, some of it was kind of tough. No I don't want to say tough, but it wasn't as tender is what I'm used to with ramen but it was still good. And the broth had a lot of flavor. It was super rich. Would I get it again, I sure as hell will.

Yelp
I ordered takeout this past week, as it's conveniently located near me. I got the creamy broccolini, crispy rice with spicy tuna, and the regular soboro bowl. My favorite out of the three was the creamy broccolini as they use a type of sauce I love everywhere. The second appetizer was pretty good and the tuna was fresh (and most importantly did not make me sick) but overall felt kind of dry, and the ingredients kept falling apart. For this dish I would suggest you get at one of the many other great Japanese restaurants in the city. The soboro bowl had pork, eggs, scallions, pickled radishes, and onions inside. I wasn't craving ramen so picked something else. The eggs were pretty good but I don't think I was a fan of how the meat was seasoned so it made the rest of the bowl not very appetizing. I also moved the food from the takeout box to my own bowl which messed up the presentation. Perhaps I'll come back to have a meal in store.

Olivia R.

Yelp
Worm in the edamame:( vomit in the bathroom sink Stomach blew up. The food was okay but i was overall disheartened by the experience. Also, there were flies flying around my partner and I the entire time we were trying to eat. I still am thinking of the godforsaken worm every time I eat.
google avatar

Stephen M.

Yelp
Silverlake Ramen is a solid choice for a quick, inexpensive bite. The Chicken karage bowl was delicious. The chicken was crunchy, the rice was fluffy, and the pickled veggies and scallions add a nice contrast. The bao bun was nice, but I wish the cut of pork belly was a bit firmer. It was well made, but too soft, which made me feel like it was plucked run out of a bowl of ramen. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu

Mellonee B.

Yelp
After I ate the food, I got severely sick...didn't go to the doctor, but it felt like food poisoning.

Yelp
The best ramen in Atlanta, hands down. I've eaten at Jinya, Momonoki, Nagomiya, E-Ramen, and Kin No Tori. If you know Atlanta ramen, you know that those 5 plus Silverlake are the BIG SIX, and Silverlake is by far the best. Silverlake has been my mainstay for the past 4.5 years since they opened in Midtown. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the service is great and relaxed. I typically get the Blaze with pork, medium spicy (the spice is no joke), with an extra egg. And it never fails to disappoint. I eat this once a week at this point. If you're looking for ramen in Atlanta and you want to try the best, consider this your sign. Go to Silverlake and you won't regret it. They also validate parking for the deck attached to the building with the entrance on Crescent Ave. Can't beat 2 hours of free parking in Midtown!

Yelp
Amazing food, good music, and an all-around mellow vibe to be in. We tried the Garlic Truffle Ramen and the Blaze Ramen, with Fried Gyoza and Creamy Broccoli as our appetizers, and all were fantastic; great flavor and good portions. The Garlic Truffle broth in particular was absolutely delicious and I recommend it to anyone looking for something unique. Try this place out if you're looking for good ramen!

Yelp
I love Silverlake, even if they do forget to include my dipping sauce once in a while. The ramen is solid, some great flavors. And the appetizers are on point too (the fried chicken one is sooo good). And they're open late for the folks that get those late night hankerings.
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
We ordered mapo tofu and their pork bowl here and the flavors were rich, but not overwhelming. The mapo tofu was slightly salty but I was still tempted to give this five stars since their pork bowl was filled with so much flavor and the bamboo side that we ordered was some of the best I ever had. Four stars since you can get better mapo tofu elsewhere
google avatar

Ambirr M.

Yelp
The drinks are so delicious and well made was definitely feeling it by the time my appetizer came out I am a noodle girlie so the food was a hit as well. The customer service was top tier and the place was clean which I appreciate in these germy atl streets

Yelp
Silverlake Ramen was a decent ramen spot. The bowls of ramen are huge. I got their combo, a bowl of ramen + a pork bun. My bun came out about halfway through my meal. The waiter admitted to me that he'd forgotten to put the order in. No sweat, he was a sweety and didn't charge me for the bun. Good thing b/c tbh, I could've done without it. It wasn't that good. The sauce was a little too sweet and the pork belly was kinda tough. An the bright side, it was a big bun. Possibly the biggest bao I've ever eaten. I didn't eat much of it and only took a few bites. I got the Blaze ramen. A spicy tonkotsu style ramen. It was ok. I've got no complaints but no rave review for it either. I wanted the garlic truffle ramen but it wasn't an option for the combo. The atmosphere was cute and had a nice vibe.

Yelp
Was burned out from so much walking that I ordered a Ramen from DoorDash. Took over an hour and the driver decided to make another delivery before mine. Food was lukewarm and Ramen noodles were all clumped together. Been to their location in San Diego a few times and it always deliver. Next time will avoid DoorDash when I am in Atlanta.

Donna A.

Yelp
Silverlake Ramen is our favorite ramen place. Food and seevice are always amazing. We have been many times in small and large groups The staff is always accommodating. Highly recommend going and discovering g your new favorite place!

Yelp
One of the best ramen spot in the town. Perfect for the weather. Food 5 Service 5 Ambiance 5

Yelp
First time visitor to this location however had this in my home state so had an idea what to expect (delicious drooling goodness) Located in midtown by the sugar factory Parking structure around the corner Validation available Love the interior decor with communal tables booth and tables Spacious bar and flat screen to catch sports needs Music selection playing out of 2 speakers Owner was training new server Order the classic with tofu Taste was there but didn't leave me that happy belly feeling Very deep bowl with Al dente noodles egg spinach bean sprouts green onion and tofu Didn't leave one overly full just seem to just right Still a great chain just needs a bit more flavor though the vibe of the location definitely will pick up

Yelp
My husband ordered the Garlic Truffle Ramen and I ordered the Pork Bowl. Our food came out very quickly. The pork bowl was a perfect combination of protein, veggies, and carbs. Very tasty. I tried my husband's ramen broth and it was delicious! I'll have to come back for my own bowl next time. We enjoyed our meals and their generous portion sizes. Staff was also very friendly and attentive. This is a great spot for lunch!
google avatar

Yelp
As someone who loves ramen, it's nice to have as many good ramen options in the city as possible so I'm always down for trying a ramen spot I come across. Ordered the Handmade Grilled Gyoza, Crispy Chicken Karaage, The Blaze Ramen, and The Classic Ramen to eat. The Grilled Gyoza were tasty and the Chicken Karaage pieces were juicy but they could have had more seasoning to give the meat a kick. I was a bit disappointed in the ramen bowls. We selected them because they were the closest thing to a Tonkotsu broth and the Blaze Ramen appeared to be intended as a spicy version of the Classic Ramen. IMO both broths lacked the richness and bold flavors of a bone broth that has been simmering for at least 24-hours (this is one of my favorite aspects of a good Tonkotsu broth). The Blaze Ramen could also have been a bit spicier. I also ordered a cocktail to drink but I can't remember the name but I do remember it was not strong at all. We sat at a table and service was definitely slow with our waiter coming by once in a blue moon. All in all, this restaurant was just OK. Wouldn't be in my top choices for ramen but it could still be an option for a late night ramen run if I'm in the area.
google avatar

Tais F.

Yelp
Came during lunch time and was pleased with the lunch menu. The Sapporo lite was 2.50 along with the draft being half off so that was amazing. I got the shoyu ramen with chicken broth and pork as the meat. Overall the ramen was good but needed a bit more flavor so I added soy sauce. Great experience, I sat outside under an umbrella and was able to bring my dog! I don't know about parking but the servers did offer validation. Great service and experience!
google avatar

Laks P.

Yelp
Love this place and the service is always great! My favorite items on the menu are the Shoyu on Fire ramen and the crispy chicken karage and I only recommend these if you like some spice in your food! The spicy chicken bun is also good too! That being said, I've also had the blaze ramen and although the broth was good and i have no complaints about it, I did not taste any spice at all so it wasn't my favorite dish. Will be coming back here again and definitely recommend!
google avatar

Shannon C.

Yelp
This ramen place is incredible. Entirely unassuming on the outside but some of the best ramen I've had. I got the shoyu on fire. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick meal.

Yelp
Tried Silverlake on a whim one night and we were pleased. It was late and there was only one person working. Service was honestly very slow, but the one server was working hard, took care of us, and expressed gratitude for our patience which I appreciated. We had the fried gyoza, pork bun, I had the garlic truffle ramen, and my partner had the blaze ramen. Everything came out quick and hot once we were finally able to order. The gyoza was flavorful and the sauce it comes with adds a little kick. The pork bun also had a nice flavor, but the pork had a little more fat/slimy pieces than I would've liked. We both really enjoyed our ramen. No complaints, delicious broth and I liked the additions. It's a nice date night spot or place to gather with friends. There's a bar inside as well, though nobody was there to man it when we were there. Would recommend!

T P.

Yelp
I love the tonkatsu ramen with chicken with an order of potstickers, solidly friendly service with an ok, well lit indoor scene-- the to-go situation is kind of awkward since there's no set place for pickups. I kind of stand around fiddling with the chairs in the middle of the restaurant each time.
google avatar

Christine J.

Yelp
I've heard friends in California rave about this ramen spot but never tried it myself. So when I saw them on the grubhub list and was craving ramen one night, I ordered the classic Silverlake tonkotsu ramen. To my surprise, the delivery ramen was delicious! Creamy rich broth still hot, separated from the most perfect ramen noodles and a big piece of roasted pork belly. I imagine it to be even better in the restaurant. I'm a fan.
google avatar

Faydria G.

Yelp
Feeling like a nice bowl of Ramen today. Pretty much like everyday. I was in the downtown area, so I search for Ramen. Silverlake wasn't too far. Coming in the restaurant, it was very clean I was an open space with an not so tempting looking bar to the left. The gentleman seated me and brought me some water and my menu. I started my off choosing the 3 mushrooms butter. All I have to say is MEH. The dish didn't have much of a taste or flavor nor did I taste the butter. Mushrooms are one of my favorite vegetables an needless to say it was a disappointment. I ordered the shoyu on fire bowl w/egg. This item was just ok. The broth was thick but the flavors wasn't all the way there. It was like it was missing that one thing to take it over the top. My meal wasn't a total lost I can say. I will come back and give it another try.
google avatar

Michelle Y.

Yelp
This place was so good, and one of the more authentic ramen places I've been to in Atlanta! We got a combo with the Classic, which is their Tonkotsu Ramen, and the karaage, which comes with a aioli (spicy mayo). The pork in the ramen was so soft and delicious, and the broth was pretty good too. I found it interesting that they put spinach in ramen, but I got my greens The karaage was nice and crispy, with a juicy inside, and paired well with the karaage.
google avatar

Sidra S.

Yelp
My friend and I came here on a Saturday Evening. We were assisted and seated as soon as we came in. The waiter pleasantly assisted us with any questions we had about the menu. I ended up ordering the spicy the Shoyu on Fire as the my main entree. It was extremely spicy, yet savory and delicious. I would definitely order it again! For my appetizer I ordered the crispy rice with spicy tuna. It wasn't anything that I found to be great. I felt like the hard rice texture didn't mesh well with the spicy tuna for me, although it may for you. Overall, I would come back again! (:

Yelp
I came during the week for dinner. I love how cozy it is. I thought the service was pretty good. I order a whiskey sour, gyoza, and classic pork ramen. The Gyozas were my favorite. Never had them fried before. I thought the drink and ramen were ok.
google avatar

Allison K.

Yelp
Their tonkotsu ramen was fantastic. The pork was front and center and was a generous portion compared to most other ramen places. The broth was rich but not overly so. The soft boiled egg was fantastic. I appreciated the addition of spinach in the ramen too. Came here with a large group of friends. Those who ordered the shoyu and tsukemen ramen were pretty satisfied, as well as those who got the rice bowls. Service was friendly and attentive. The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated too.

Yelp
Silverlake Ramen is a decent ramen option with kind and considerate service. The shoyu ramen I got had a pretty disappointing broth that had neither the advertised chicken nor soy sauce flavor. My friend's tonkotsu ramen had better broth with plenty of porky flavor; that's the one I'd get next time. Disappointing shoyu broth aside, the noodles, ajitama egg, and chashu were all decent. It makes for a ramen that I'd get if I had a real craving. We also got some appetizers. The karaage was pretty good, with marinated, juicy chicken thighs that were fried crispy. The bao bun was disappointing, largely because the bun it very tough and rubbery and there was too much aioli. Service was a definite plus that is responsible for me giving Silverlake four stars. Our server was understanding to give my friend and I plenty of time and space since we had a lot to catch up on. In addition, later when I realized I had forgotten my validated parking ticket, the manager was kind enough to walk with me to the parking lot so he could scan me out. Overall, a decent but not spectacular ramen option in Midtown, but one with good service.

Yelp
This is really a great option for lunch or dinner in Midtown. Centrally located on 11th St. at Peachtree St., Northeast.. the services excellent the people are so friendly and the prices are amazingly affordable. They have daily five dollar drink specials, which make dinner even more affordable. And they offer a very quick takeout service as well! You absolutely cannot go wrong. They have some amazing appetizers that have a Japanese influence.. It's casual and they have a small outdoor area when the weather is nice.

Yelp
After picking up a cake I ordered from Saint Germain and dropping it off at my condo, we decided to look for a lunch place in midtown. I mentioned we could grab ramen for lunch. Suddenly everyone was craving for ramen, or was it perhaps cos it was my birthday, everyone was trying to let me decide. Lol! One of us suggested Momonoki. I opened my Yelp App and went, "How about Silverlake?" They like Silverlake? I went on and read from their website, "Born and bred in the city of angels. Silverlake Ramen was created with a combined passion and experience for creating ramen that embodies delicious quality, and traditional ingredients..." So Silverlake was a chain originated from LA and has many locations in CA, a couple in NC and TX too. I guess everyone was intrigued! Hehe.. Ok so Silverlake Ramen is located on the ground floor of 1010 Midtown condominiums, off Crescent Street. Entrance to the condo's parking garage is also on Crescent Street. If you turn right in from Peachtree Street, you will see the Silverlake Ramen on your right before the entrance to the parking garage. Bring your ticket with you since Silverlake validates parking up to 2 hours. AMBIANCE 5/5 There is a small patio outside with a few tables and chairs. But do I really want to sit outside with the pollens in the air and everywhere that have been plaguing my life (and my precious car too) recently? No thanks, I will pass!! Upon entering the restaurant, the atmosphere definitely has that trendy and casual vibe. The music selection was slapped. The interior has that modern industrial look with a bar and open kitchen. Personally I do not not care that much about any bar or the open kitchen, just knew the music really slapped here :D SERVICE 4/5 The staff was either still having a hangover that late morning or he was just socially awkward. I could not decide at first. He was not super friendly. Then I decided he was just really soft spoken. I could barely hear him. At least he was not rude. When we were leaving, he actually said "Thank you, ma'am! Have a nice day!" FOOD 5/5 Possibly the best Tonkotsu in midtown, buckhead and everywhere else in the state of GA!! I am sure everyone who is a true ramen lover knows the first cardinal rule of ordering ramen. Ramen should always be ordered for dine-in only. Of cos there are many reasons why one may want to order a ramen for take out or delivery, like in a pandemic (it is still a real thing) or just plain convenience. Then no one should really complained any ramen via take out/delivery did not taste super good. That I would call plain delusional. Like most food, ramen would taste best when they are prepared and fresh out of kitchen. So what makes the Silverlake Tonkotsu ramen ($13) 5 stars? 1- Tonkotsu broth : super creamy, rich, non oily & so tasty 2- Noodles - cooked perfectly, qq 3- Egg - perfectly cooked with a creamy soft custard-like yolk 4-Chashu (pork) - a big chunk of delicious, savory, soft and non fatty meat This review was supposed to get a overall 4 star from me (5+4+5 = 14 & divide by 3), but because of that super amazing ramen (best I ever had in GA), I would give Silverlake an overall 5 star review. Never have I done that in any of my reviews I penned in the past, at least not I ever remembered. Then again, this is my review and I can do whatever I like, right? Jk! ;D For those of you who have read my past reviews, you would know I can be pretty harsh and blatantly honest. Rest assured that my reviews can never be bought or skewed based on my any acquaintance with the owner(s) of any establishment (sadly I have none, haha!). I have heard from a fellow yelper that one of his wife's friend actually called up a restaurant, mentioned she was a Yelp elite and coming to dine at the restaurant. Yes, it was prohibited by Yelp but I am sure some people just have no shame or integrity). Anyway, enough said! Trust me and my reviews! :D Highly recommend the tonkotsu ramen here at Silverlake Ramen!!

Yelp
Awesome ramen spot! This was my first time trying ramen and it did not disappoint. When I first stepped into this restaurant, I became a big fan of the vibe- great ambience and a good spot for a casual dinner out with a group of friends or even for a date. I got the Soboro bowl to start off and I really liked how well cooked the ground chicken was. I never thought I would feel full after eating actual ramen, but this hit the spot- quality chicken, thick noodles, and perfectly spicy broth. Will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
This was the only ramen spot open after a late flight back into ATL. Right in the heart of midtown is Silverlake Ramen. Very clean place with a full bar and ample seating. When we came in you could tell there were busy with to go orders but they still greeted us promptly and had our to go order ready within 10 minutes. When we got home everything was packaged correctly and still piping hot. The pork bun was flavorful and delicious. The ramen was packed with flavor and generous with the pork. I really loved the intensity of the mushroom flavor of this ramen.

Yelp
Dine-in review update: * The Classic Tonkotsu ($13.99): Super good! The broth was creamy and came out sizzling hot. The broth was perfect. Pork wasn't too too fatty. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/silverlake-ramen-atlanta?select=kTiHI4n8WMqWp2-cMoHXXg&utm_campaign=www_photo_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) * Crispy Chicken Karaage ($5): Crispy and tender albeit some pieces were a little overdone for me. Portions are pretty generous here. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/silverlake-ramen-atlanta?select=E1pSlIo43U-6dxCPiZl1PQ&utm_campaign=www_photo_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) * Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna ($5): Many yelpers were raving about this one so I went ahead and tried it. It was A-OK for me. I'm not a huge fan of spicy tuna since it's like a mix as opposed to fresh slices of ahi tuna. I think the crispy rice would be better if the bed of rice was thinner for an even crispier crunch. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/silverlake-ramen-atlanta?select=nbVG_WqPyZLB8DW--54OAA&utm_campaign=www_photo_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) * Three Kinds of Mushroom with Butter ($5): Didn't try this one myself but my friend said it was super buttery. Comes with some salad on the side. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/silverlake-ramen-atlanta?select=hpkI9vZi1QslcQkvkPsqcg&utm_campaign=www_photo_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) Happy hour appetizers are $5 from 11:30am - 7:00pm! Basically all day til dinner... Service: Great! Staff wore masks and maintained their distance. Parking: 1010 Parking Deck. Grab a ticket on your way in and DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR PARKING TICKET with you. Silverlake DOES validate -- I think up to 2 hours. You just have to remember to ask! Overall, highly recommend dining in if you can. The food definitely tasted better for me this time than when I carried out.

Yelp
Whenever I order Thai food, not much goes wrong! Only sat at the bar but experience is always great!

Yelp
Not a bad little ramen spot open late night. Noodles are a bit thick and broth needs some additional flavoring but it's not bad.

Yelp
Grrr. I'm hesitant to write this review because I have a feeling this place will get crazy busy and popular real soon--watch. Silverlake Ramen has around 12 restaurants, and they've been successful for a reason--consistent and damn good. I've been to their LA restaurant and their Atlanta ramen shop didn't disappoint. I've been here twice now. I'm definitely a fan. If you're looking for traditional Tonkotsu -- get the Classic. It comes with a dash of Black Garlic Oil. If you're looking for a Tonkotsu with an extra kick -- get the Blaze. Both had their own uniqueness, but I'm probably Team Classic. Temperature? Boiling hot. Just the way it's supposed to be. Portion? Generous. Noodle texture? Firm. Not bad, not bad. Broth? Light, but you can definitely taste the complexity of the ingredients. Egg? Could be better. Definitely my least favorite item. Overall, Silverlake Ramen is a great addition to the Atlanta food scene. I'd recommend checking this place out if you're in the neighborhood. Oh, the shop is super cute and the staff, including the manager, Chris, are pretty awesome too.

Yelp
I came here Valentine's Day weekend and expected them to be packed like the other restaurants in the area. But to my surprise we were able to walk right in and pick a table. The staff is wearing masks and the tables are spread for social distancing. The waiter was nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Before ordering he went over the menu with us. I ordered the Garlic Truffle with chicken. It was really good, but the noodles were a little thicker than the usual noodles used for ramen, so I had a little difficulty with them sliding off my spoon and chopsticks. I'll be back to try some of their other options.

Yelp
I went here on a freezing cold day in ATL (maybe I brought the cold down with me). Anyway, when that ramen juice hit my lips, I think I heard some angels singing. I started with a pork sandwich. It was surprisingly tasty and just right as a starter. The actual ramen was very good. I added mushrooms to mine. Everything was good here from the food to the service.
