Beautiful one of a kind pieces! It is an experience in its own, just walking around and checking out their new displays every month. The designers are very knowledgeable and can put together some great looks for each person’s taste. The prices at this store are on the high end, but that is to be expected when you shop at such a unique store with well-made and handmade items. This is not a cookie cutter box store!

1 star because I had to put something down. Sad sad sad!!! I’ve been wanting to visit this place for a long time. It’s time to get new kitchen, bedroom and living room furniture. Stopped in and they said NOTHING. Literally every employee looked at us and said not 1 word- until we walked out and 1 lady sitting at a table told us to “have a nice day”. Simple Things forget the most simplest of all things - CUSTOMER SERVICE/KINDNESS. Never actually left a review that was not positive for a company because I know it’s hard out there these days - but this was literally disgusting. It cost nothing to them to be kind and welcoming. Nothing. But it will cost them lots if they continue to not be. Beautiful stuff but we could never support a place with our dollars that does not believe in the beauty of kindness!!! Super sad!!! Now I gotta find a place to buy all our stuff.

I will say that visiting this place is an absolute treat. The merchandise is displayed beautifully throughout the store. I did enjoy conversing with a few of the staff members, but what kept me from making a purchase, or even fully enjoying my experience was how stand-offish and rude the owner was. That was surprising since I’ve heard only good things throughout the community about how friendly he was. Nope, not the case.

This place is off the beaten path...but thanks to traffic, a drive by piqued my interest. A few weeks later, I had the opportunity to check out the place. Not many places do I love every item, but Simple Things has a variety of furnishings and decor that is not the boring mass produced stuff you see in the chain stores. If you like the design of the popular home shows, you should check this place out!

I love Simple Things, my most favorite place. I have been a long time customer, not that they would know me but I have bought several of my prized things there. I am sick, I can't afford anything there anymore. He use to have some affordable mixed with the incredible. Hope he remembers his followers.

This eclectic store has a broad range of objects. I bought my girlfriend, the divine Miss M, a very humorous small paperback book about being neurotic for less than $20 yesterday and she purchased us a new wooden back brush for the shower with soft-but-not-too-soft bristles. We also purchased our gorgeous green velvet sofa here and had stopped in to ask about getting the main seating cushion replaced and, as ever, got the very best of customer service. If you want cheap and diposable items you can find mass produced garbage destined for the landfill at IKEA or Wal-Mart. If you want quality furnishings, art, oddities, linens, brig-a-brac and the like, this is the store for you. Great place to find a gift! Or to treat yourself to an upgrade. Fine people, fine goods, good laughs and so close! A hidden gem. Go seek it out!

I can't say enough great things about this store and all of their employees. They offer great quality on many different items. I have purchased a sofa, several chairs and ottomans plus great one of a kind pillows! There is really nothing even close to this store in Fort Worth! After years of buying cheaper furniture, I have finally learned - you get what you pay for!

This place is pricey, however, you cannot find what you find at Simple Things any where else. My husband and I bought a couch here, pillows and a coffee table. I have been going to Simple Things for a while now. They are one of the only places that has nice fluffy euro pillow inserts. So, in conclusion, this place is expensive, but, you get what you pay for. I will take a couch that is made in the USA any day!

This place is extremely overpriced. You can find the same quality items at other places for far less prices.

When a man and a women come together and realize they both lack any sort of creative/decorative sense, their first stop should be Simple Things. My wife and I spent a couple hours with the amazing people here and came up with the decorative theme of our new living room. They were super patient and helped us explore ideas we never would've considered without a little guidance. They even extended an offer to take our items home and try them for a few days before pulling the trigger. We'll be loyal Simple Things customers moving forward!

I encountered Simple Things while visiting from Austin. What a fantastic find--and with very reasonable prices for unique and custom furniture, linens, and upholstery! I'll insert what I wrote in my blog: "... a great discovery was Simple Things in Fort Worth on University Ave. We didn't have a ton of time, but from what I understand from Georgeanne, they're a local furniture and upholstery shop that specialize in custom orders and fantastic textiles. The aesthetic was eclectic and beautiful: a great mix of country French and shabby chic with lots of very unusual and pretty pieces. My sis is pretty traditional and has ordered a few beautiful oak tables from there, but I also saw a WONDERFUL old German or Swedish light pine cabinet and hutch. I wish I had a photo: it had a beautiful, worn, soft buttery color. They also had wonderful bed linens. I'll definitely be in touch or make sure to spend more time next time I'm in town!"

Gorgeous displays and artistic vignettes with beautiful mix if industrial functional chic and shabby make this a new fav and worth a long stop to explore

If ever you wanted a small unique furniture and 'special finds' store, to stay in business, this would be the one. My husband and I believe this is definitely a gem in Fort Worth. We have never.. and I repeat, EVER.. I dont think? Left this store empty handed. If we did its only because we special ordered something. Jim and Christina are amazing, refreshingly honest and sincere in their opinions about a possible purchase. They have never once pressured us into buying anything, and because of this, I will only continue to buy from furniture from this store.. however, we have just about run out of room for anything new! The styles this store provides are timeless. I look at my home and realize I could keep our furniture for 20 years and still be just as much in love with it as the day we purchased it. I LOVE coming home! It just doesn't get any better than this, folks.

Treasures abound! I didn't buy them all but I did make a dent. The most unique interior design studio I have been to in some time. Staff was extremely helpful, courteous, and just as excited for me as I was. I felt like a kid in a candy store. Can't wait to go back and take my friends!

It has been a long time since I have encountered a design store this good!! Wonderful displays and a great mix of old and new. Industrial modern and I absolutely love it!! Cannot wait to go back and if searching for something special don't hesitate to ask because they have more across the street. What a unique store!

I wish I found this place before I purchased my current sofa. It reminds me of a blend of Wisteria and Restoration Hardware.

Love Love Simple Things! The best gem of a furniture store I have found in the area. Beautiful Bella Notte and Matteo linens, timeless custom furniture, oushak rugs, and interesting finds abound wonderful merchandising and relaxing atmosphere. Believe it, you could spend hours here. My husband doesn't even mind going with me.

Be very leery of not only Simple Things, but of Lee as a company. Simple Things/Lee have very nice looking furniture and Simple Things provides a very smooth, professional sale. But their customer support after the sale lacks tremendously. I had an issue with my sofa which I reported in 2009 and Jim/Simple Things has still yet to fix it. It has not been a priority for them which brings me to my next point... that Lee's 8-way hand tied springs are unique; however, there is not ANYONE in the DFW market that is able to fix it. Jim has supposedly been trying since 2009 to find someone to fix it and has told me numerous times that there isn't anyone in the DFW area who is qualified to fix it. I have appealed to Lee, the company, yet they too seem unable to help. So I urge caution... the furniture is REALLY nice looking, but if anything goes wrong, you will be stuck with it as Jim/Simple Things/Lee seem unwilling to honor their lifetime warranty.
