Yelp
I've had Korean food at a number of different places and Simya was the best I've ever had so far. I ordered a Tofu Bibimbap and homemade kimchi, both of which were fantastic and tasted very authentic; a lot more than some of the other places I'd been before. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the menu was simple albeit lacking explanations of certain dishes, and the place itself was small with limited seating but quite cosy.
On the there was not much variety, but they did have the mainstream highlights of Korean food such as kimchi pancakes, bibimbap, Doenjang-jjigae (soy bean soup), Korean BBQ, sharing platters etc. They also had a some Japanese dishes including Omuraisu (omelette with fried rice), edamame, tempura, chicken katsu, udon noodles and gyoza. The desserts are limited to matcha ice cream, coconut ice-cream and a kids ice cream dessert.
The price was reasonable with most things under £10, however they do add service charge to the bill (we were only 2 people) of 10% regardless of the number of people.
Overall: Authentic and inexpensive Korean food in a cozy little restaurant only a few minutes from West Brompton station.
