Decided to try this place and buy some Singaporean food for dinner today. I bought the hainanese chicken rice platter, teochew braised duck rice platter, green papaya salad withmedium spice, and chicken satay. My favorite part of the meal was the hainanese chicken and I would order that again from this place, though I wish there was more chicken and cucumber slices. The chicken rice is flavored well and isn't too dry. Its moist and has a good amount of oil. The chicken is super moist and flavoring is great. The duck rice was a tad sticky in my opinion, but the taros were yummy. Wish there were more taro pieces. The duck is yummy but I feel its slathered in too much sauce. It needs more cucumbers too imo. The chicken satay with the sauce was yummy. Curious if the pork satay would also be yummy. My only complaint is that the green papaya salad tastes watered down and old. Medium was also extremely hot and spicy for my taste despite the fact that I am normally very good with spicy foods. The papaya are not crunchy and the peanuts lose their crunch and flavor when drowned in the sauce, which tasted watered down. The flavoring doesn't stick to the papaya salad. It tastes like papaya salad thats been sitting around and they drenched in it some sauce to make it new. Overall, they have an expansive menu and I'd be curious to try their desserts. I would come back for more haianese chicken, though their prices seems a bit expensive compared to the competitors. This place is a good addition to the queens crossing food court overall.

Amazing Singaporean food ! We ordered the chicken rice, duck rice and the oyster omelet The food taste so genuinely good . The taste is of everything pretty much spot on Including the chili sauce and archar The chicken is tender and not overcooked. The duck was very flavorful and the oyster omelet is just perfect. Anyone with a craving for Singaporean food and is passing by NYC, I would definitely recommend a trip here.

The chicken and duck must be amazing because they ran out when we arrived for dinner ‼️ UPDATE: Finally got to try the chicken rice and it is fantastic! So we ordered the popcorn chicken, oyster pancake, and pork belly rice platter. We finished everything in a matter of minutes - it was so delicious and flavorful. Oyster pancake was very much like when my mom makes it 😋 we'll be back again soon for the birds

Food speaks for itself. There’s a reason why every NY Singaporean frequents this place, making the trek to Flushing. The chicken might be the best version of proper Hainanese chicken rice you can find in the U.S.

This is a place that tugs at my heartstrings a little bit, being a Singapore boy far away from home. It feels really good to be at place that really ‘gets it’, in terms of authenticity and dedication to achieving the right flavors. So this review may come off as a little biased, although in classic Singaporean fashion, i have some feedback! But first, the good: This may be the best tasting hainanese chicken ive had this far from the equator. Whether they be plates from the multitude of thai style hainanese chicken rice spots dotting the city everywhere from the UWS to elmhurst, or the higher end Singaporean or Malaysian establishments that try their hand at their take on the juggernaut of Singaporean street food, none have come this close to recreating the gelatinous, bouncy texture and ginger-ey flavor of Chef Richard Chan’s accomplishment here. It’s truly an outstanding achievement worthy of mention. Also, the menu is pretty comprehensive and is a great showcase of hawker food ‘greatest hits’. The fact that duck rice is even on the menu is testament to the chef’s faith in letting the classics take center stage and being unafraid to chase authenticity. Now, on to the areas for improvment: gotta have dark soy!! It is one of the key pillars of the sauce triumvirate when we talk about chicken rice (the other two being chili sauce, which is well covered, and ginger which is also represented here, albeit with more scallion/cilantro than some would say is typical, but thats really splitting hairs.), and it needs to be readily available here. Dark soy not being a standard part of the sauce package i would say is like serving fries without ketchup. Something is missing. I would also suggest adding a clear soup, which is something that is probably inexpensive to make but would add a nice touch. Other than that no huge complaints, maybe the rice can be tweaked a little but that is again being a little bit ‘niao’ which is my typical Singaporean nature. In any case these two minor and in my opinion easily achievable additions would go a long way to making customers happy i believe, especially overly food obsessed Singaporeans which lets be honest is 99% of us. Lastly, i think this is an absolutely amazing achievement, the mere attempt is worthy of commendation but to get the flavors overall so right and with such limited resources is truly something special. I do hope that more Singaporean’s living in NYC get a chance to try this place and that Chef continues to hone his craft, it gives me hope that good Singaporean food exists in this city!! Very authentic Singaporean food, superb taste. Best chicken rice and duck rice I’ve had in the US. Chai tow kway and tahu goreng were delicious and tasted of home. Generous portions too! Highly recommend.

Pretty decent restaurant serving mainly Singaporean cuisine and Taiwanese cuisine. Food is delicious with fair portion. Price is a bit high for a standard bento. Plenty of seating inside and outside of Queens Crossing. Bathroom is the shared bathroom of Queens Crossing Mall. Might come again if I want to change things up a little.

Uncle Richard, the chicken rice eat liao really shiok ahhhh. We had the two main rice dish - Hainanese Chicken Rice and Braised Duck on Taro Rice. Ooof, yes, the chicken rice was really good and it made my day. Aromatic 油飯with the super tender chicken and the chilli sauce - just like what you would get from the Singapore food centres. The braised duck and the taukua (bean curds) were really nice too. I also enjoyed the Kopi Peng - it has that Malaysian/Singaporean kopitiam taste to it. Waiting for them to expand to Manhattan lol. Try it especially if you are craving for Hainanese Chicken Rice!!!
