What a place! If you are in the mood for great drinks, chill atmosphere, and legit retro vibes, Single Wide is everything you need. Very friendly bartenders, awesome decor and music. The drinks are appropriately whimsical yet solid. Love the shot and beer selection too. Great spot late night as well as starting off your evening.

👎🏾🚩This is a weird place. I stop by outta no where to just get a drink late night, bartender gave off strong racist vibes. I was relaxed & remained during the drink experience. About 10 ppl hanging out in the gatherings & sure made a black man feel like the movie in GET OUT. Had a girl to test my energy on basic social talk & she knew by long shot she was in the presence of a chosen. I can feel racism in any room & any person, I will never go back to this spot & don't recommend it for any black person, go inside at your own risk & that's keeping it real. 🫴🏾It's weird at this spot 🚩 DON'T GO 🫰🏾🤝🏾🛑🚷 By the way the drink good at the least (shot of whiskey)

Google
Horrible experience. Bartenders lacked experience. Incredibly rushed. I said I was looking at the peach pounder drink and then decided to get a hurritang. They got me both and I said that I didnt get the peach pounder. So instead of just taking back the peach pounder they proceeded to take both drinks back and kicked us out. Then security was called and he defended without knowing the full story. Horrible experience. Dont go here.

Google
No food, but Yoo-hoo YeeHaw is AWESOME!!! It’s White Russian meets white trash!!! Or an adult frosty; super yummy! HH is crazy cheap!!! Music varies tremendously; sometimes fun stuff I know, usually deep cuts I don’t recognize. Dog friendly! Bar usually has a few pooches hanging out.

Google
Awful service. Friend ordered a drink. They brought him the wrong one. They also brought the right one at the same time. They took his money and then took away both drinks for no reason at all and told us to leave without refunding the money. Very terrible service. They called the security and security defended the bartenders without knowing the full story. I will never go to this bar again.

Any time during the week and weekends, this is the best place ever in dallas! I have been coming for years.

Great place for live music and a cocktail to relax and catch up with friends. Stopped in for cocktails and to take in the night. It does get busy on the weekends, weekdays were much more chill. Fun area, fun bar, nice vibes.

So I have been here like 7 times in 3 weeks! Only place which is open until AM hours! Do not forget to try YOOHOO YEEHAW their signature cocktail! I usually have one of those and one old timer (old fashioned) with no sugar and less ice! Servers are good and would make whatever you want them to! There is a screen for video games at the bar and play the nude pics game finding differences in 2 pics! Good experience everytime!

Yelp
A local trailer park themed jaunt, iconic to the Dallas scene, for a minute. It's located in the heart of Lower Greenville. Same owners as Double Wide (located in Deep Ellum). This venue boasts company that is more laid back. Drink suggestions dot the bar line and tables. There are few areas to pop a squat near the door/ towards the back. Smoking/vaping ok outside of venue. Music is stellar. I've heard tunes from the 70s-today. Bartenders are chill and prompt. The Yeehaw Yoohoo (frozen yoohoo mix) is a must. Parallel parking available on the street our front and/or try around Truck Yard. Venue is a stone's throw from other spots- ie Old Crow. Grab your friends and make a night of it. Enjoy!

Yelp
Their "Yoo-hoo yee haw" drink is a must try and so good!! The bars has really cute 70s decor and it's the perfect spot to catch up with friends. It's a little small, but came here to catch up with friends and we had such a good time!!

Yelp
This place is my favorite place in Texas and I think about it more often than I should. The atmosphere is dark yet welcoming and the clientele were always interesting every time we visited. My favorite drink was the Yoohoo Yeehaw, which is described as "White Russian meets white trash." The description is funny, but also shows that they don't take themselves very seriously. They have happy hour until 9pm on weekdays, but the Yelp listing says 8pm so you can get the Yoohoo Yeehaw on discount for longer! Drinks are $10 which is not cheap for essentially drinking from a slushie machine, but well worth it!

Bailey B.

Yelp
Vibe was pretty cool! Service was good but hard to get a spot to sit. No matter what try to Yoo-hoo yeehaw!
google avatar

Laurie O.

Yelp
Great dive bar! Everyone was friendly and helpful. This bar had great decorations for the theme. The drinks were tasty. Small inside area to sit with tables or bar area, and it also has outside area.

Yelp
Really cool bar for all age ranges, pretty great music, fast service dim ambiance. They even have miller high life! Reasonable prices and all around cool area and nice bar for after dinner drinks

Yelp
This place has been on my list for a few years and I was so happy to finally stop in! Nice bouncer and great bartenders with super cool decor/dive vibe inside - great space to chill and catch-up with a friend! I loved Yoohoos as a kid and it's so fun to have this adult upgrade - it did not disappoint and lived up to the hype! I will definitely be back and recommend stopping in while you're in the neighborhood!

Yelp
We had a great time at Single Wide. Love this place! Their Yoo-Hoo semi-frozen drink is one of my lifelong favorites (I'm from Ft. Lauderdale, so it's not like I'm a newbie).
google avatar

Yelp
So happy this place is in the neighborhood. Yoo-hoo yeehaws will forever be my favorite!! Everyone is welcome here and it's always a good time. Definitely go!

Yelp
Love this little dive bar. One of the few places that buying a round of drinks (5) for less than $25. Laid back and chill spot.

Yelp
Single Wide's "Yoo-hoo Yeehaw" is a must-try for those looking for a frozen boozy treat reminiscent of Yoo-hoo. It's a quirky yet delightful drink that's worth experiencing when you're there. When in Rome--or in this case, Single Wide--give it a shot and embrace it! Great neighborhood bar.
google avatar

Yelp
A great bar that is well managed and executed theme well. Go for the Yoo-hoo but one too many and you will regret it. This is a comfy neighborhood style bar - make some new friends while you are there.

Yelp
Ever since we moved from San Antonio to Dallas, Singlewide has welcomed us in and made us feel like Family. The staff is excellent and I consider them Family. The drink specials are some of the best in the city. The atmosphere is always good and safe. Always a great time and the music is one of the best qualities of this bar. Love this place!!! Karaoke on Sundays and fun Bingo on the last Wednesday of the month:)
google avatar

Yelp
Love this bar a great hangout. Nothing better in summer like their frozen yoo-hoo drink. It tastes so good a must try.

Yelp
I am going to be real honest I'm not well versed on dive establishments in DFW. I have a lot of friends however who are. So when a friend wanted to come here for their birthday on a Sunday I said, "what the heck, why not". I love the Greenville Ave area and do not get out there enough - it was bustling with energy. This place is more of what I would refer to as a classy dive. Beautiful drinks, good looking patrons and servers, and clean and pristine. The only thing missing is food (but I know, I know, I am at a BAR). I mean come on though, maybe some mozzarella sticks?!? You can go next door and pick up some food (lots of options) then bring it back. The karaoke on Sunday is not to be missed. We had lots of opportunities to sing and I loved the DJ for the evening. Music in between folks singing was great as well. MUST try the yahoo yoohoo (that is not what it's called but I call it that) frozen drink!! Absolutely life changing.

Jon S.

Yelp
Worst bar I have been to in Dallas. They let me walk in and purchase 4 beers then immediately kicked me out of the bar without a refund. Claimed I didn't show my ID at the front but no one was there to check in the first place. Also I am 25 years old but they didn't seem to care. This place sucks do not go!

Yelp
Single Wide is a place that doesn't water down their drinks and doesn't ask a lot of questions. As you can imagine, I get along quite well with this place. Single Wide is a dive bar located in the Lower Greenville neighborhood of Dallas, TX. It's a bit small, like a single-wide trailer. Yet, its small space allows a lot of opportunities for intimate conversations. Drinks can be a bit on the pricier side for Dallas dive bars but are rather cheap for the Lower Greenville area. The selection of cocktails is actually creative and fun with lots of tweaks on classics. At $10-15 a cocktail and ~$6 a beer, your bill can add up rather fast, though. But if you can get past the prices, the atmosphere and theme are on point. It's a rather silly themed bar and it knows it. Bartenders are nice and friendly. Definitely worth a try if you're ever in this neighborhood. Karaoke is available here too, though I've never tried. 5/5.

Yelp
Love this place! Just a chill little place to have a cold 1. Very nice staff as well!

Yelp
The bouncer was discriminating against our group of friends and wouldn't allow one of us in because he was apparently "over-served alcohol, " but we had not been to that bar at all yet. Must have confused him for someone else? It was clear they didn't want to allow us inside for a different reason...
google avatar

Yelp
Been coming here for several years, best dive bar in Dallas. Joel and Roberto are the best
google avatar

Yelp
Trashy but friendly; like staying in the trailer with your chain-smoking granny. None of the furniture matches, everything on the walls is tacky, but you feel loved. They still have the Yoo-Hoo from the Doublewide, as well as other wacky and original signature drinks. Betcha can't name another bar that serves mixed drinks with Tang! Go on; try to name one! Don't bring a date, unless she is uber-cool - or she lives in a schoolbus. (This is where you drink when your GF leaves you.) In short; it is an awesome deep-dive bar!
google avatar

Katie J.

Yelp
Perfect little dive bar!! They have a drink that's basically a frosty with booze- amazing!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Single Wide was really cool. They definitely nail the theme they're going for without trying to overdo it. The decorations were all spot on, from the hubcaps on the wall, to the red Christmas lights and taxidermy. Overall, however, the thing I liked best is that it was a comfortable place. If you can suspend your disbelief just a bit and visit before it's too busy, it actually kind of feels like you're in a house... if that house were in an 80's horror film (and I mean that in the best way). I only tried one specialty drink, which was a frozen Yoo-Hoo based concoction. It was pretty tasty and also well priced. In fact, the prices overall were fair. The staff was also attentive and friendly. I'd definitely go back!

Yelp
A cool dive bar in Bishop Arts, Single Wide doesn't pretend to be something it isn't. Good drinks, decent prices, with a fairly low amount of seating, the Single Wide is a good place to relax with your friends if you're in the area. While there are many other options for bars, I actually liked this place for a very odd reason...a decidedly low-brow alcoholic drink that's pretty much a spiked frozen yoohoo. It tasted delicious, and the nostalgia level was pretty high. I would come here again if the mood struck.

Julie O.

Yelp
Great service. They are always welcoming. Cool interior. The owner is awesome. They remember you and what you drink. Keeps lower Greenville ave old school cool.
google avatar

Yelp
The drinks, ambiance, and karaoke on Sundays is what makes this place a truly unique and one of a kind bar. If you enjoy good company and a carefree environment to drink a beer, this is your bar.
google avatar

Megan A.

Yelp
Terrible bar. Zero stars if possible. Coming from someone as white trash as they come. I was excited to be here... but the staff is unbearable. Staff should be working for Biden's administration. Not worth the expensive shit booze or the terrible staff. Avoid at all costs there are so many bars closer and better.
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Just the trashy atmosphere I was looking for. Karaoke, overalls, koozies... and the Yoo-hoo Yeehaw was way too easy going down. I couldn't get enough! My favorite bar that we attended!
google avatar

Oliver B.

Yelp
Had a work training in Dallas this week and hit a few local friends up and we started our night here. Don't think there can be a place defines the word local any more than this. Trophy heads line the wall- deer, other shit, fish, and then the bar is lined with boobs. Yeah, like physical boob puns all over (normal things that are exaggerated to look like boobs). It's got the dark lighting with the red glare everywhere, and adding to that the Halloween theme, there's a giant 5ft spider that's hanging and looking like it's about to crawl into the table. Drink of choice for this visit.....a Yoo-hoo yeehaw Yeah, exactly. Try ordering that shit with a straight face. It's like a chocolate slushee with booze, frozen White Russian, but black. I dunno. It was the first stop of a few that night. Definitely worth a visit

Yelp
Single wide is everything that big brother Double Wide is and more. It's cozy, friendly, and it has all types of people melting into one place. Looking for valet parking? Look somewhere else. Looking for chic and trendy bar.. keep looking! Looking for D-bag bartender who calls himself a mixologist?? Well.. just keep looking, because you won't find it here. What you will find is a place that will make you sing 80's retro karaoke on Sunday afternoons. You can find a dj spinning your favorite 45's from the 50's & 60's on Saturday night. Yes, those little bitty antique/vintage 45's that your grandma had. Looking for a new happy hour spot? You'll find a happy hour with hardcore drinks, with out breaking your budget. If you have never laid eyes on a velvet painting.. this is where you need to be. And as if hub caps were still in style, there's a wall of some of the best hub caps you'll ever see with having to stumble past your grandpas '79 Chevy. As most places on this part of Greenville Ave, parking is limited to a few on the street or behind the store fronts. But if you live in the area, walking or riding your bike is always recommended.
google avatar

ViJay K.

Yelp
I picture the Dukes of Hazard hanging at a place like this. Except more trailer park-ish. The decor is nothing but awesome. It leaves your eyes wondering around at the items they have collected and were given by patrons. Although they are still adding to it. There's a multitude of animal heads and hub caps to gaze upon, including a couple of pinball machines to swing your hips into. There's lawn chairs out front for you to sit and watch traffic pass by. Single Wide is narrow inside and since the construction on Greenville Ave. is just about complete, makes it an ideal place to hang out with fairly easy parking. There's a plethora of spirits and brews to please you. Although there is no food, you can easily hit something within a spitting distance. Happy hour specials had us rocking. Alan, my bartender was helpful and courteous and fit the single wide theme. This is a place you can come as you are, dressed up or down, local neighborhood watering hole. Where the drinks are good but cheap. A place you will want to come more often than not because you can let loose and no one cares cause they accept you for who you are. No teeth and all.
google avatar

Kristi H.

Yelp
Not much to say about this place since it is simple, tacky (in the best way possible), and fun. Small, long bar. Come for the frozen Yoohoo Yeehaws and stay a while. You won't believe how strong they are and they go down fast and cold - a great summer (or anytime of the year) treat! A true Dallas gem on Lower Greenville. Tip - Karaoke starts at 3 on Sundays and always makes for a good time!
google avatar

Jennifer R.

Yelp
Hit this place on a night of bar hopping with friends. The place is a bit tacky and definitely creepy. Lots of taxidermed animals, KISS/ Elvis/ naked women pictures paraphernalia. The bartenders were super nice, attentive and great at explaining their custom drinks. The made drinks efficiently and regularly came around to clean up empty drinks scattered in the room. We found an empty table past the bar and hung for a couple hours. The place was never overt crowded but was lively. The prices for my mixed drinks were slightly cheaper then other places. the only down side was the bathroom. I was disgustingly gross. There was only 1 room and it stunk. There was water on the floor. Just icky!
google avatar

Alexandra K.

Yelp
This place. Let's just ~dive right in, shall we. I'm so glad I made it here on a trip to Dallas recently. It's exactly the kind of place I want to be at. I'll not remember much about being here fondly. In fact, in my first (and currently only) night at Single Wide, I ~doubled down so to speak. We came here for a Yoohoo Yeehaw before being summoned to go to another bar that I will not name. Anyways, long story short, after the other bar we came BACK to Single Wide like, "Yoooohoooo, remember us? We want another frozen drink or five." What's the old saying? Double your Single Wide, double your fun. Or something. Am I about to move to Dallas just to make this my go-to bar? I mean, it's possible.
google avatar

Casey G.

Yelp
Divey AF...my new spot for cheap beer and great music. Not everyday you want a craft beer, some days you want to drink a lone star or PBR and listen to some Pantera. It's hard to F up a Dive bar formula, these guys do it well. As boogee as Dallas is Dive bars are dying out. There's only a handful around the downtown area and that include Deep Ellum. Keep up the great work guys
google avatar

Brandon F.

Yelp
I was in Dallas visiting a friend who recently moved there and, as we are lovers of dive bars, she brought me here because it's reminiscent of one of our favorites in Pittsburgh. The space is small but it wasn't too busy, despite it being Friday evening. The menu of specials was absolutely hilarious, and pretty much everything involves Tang in some way or another. My friend recommended the Yoohoo Yeehaw; whoever wrote that it is a "liquified adult fudgesicle" nailed it. The drink consists of Yoohoo, vanilla vodka, and coffee liqueur. And it certainly packs a punch! I enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere. The bartenders were both friendly and attentive. I'd probably make this a regular stop if I lived in the area.
google avatar

Kassie K.

Yelp
From the outside this place does not look all that enticing & to be honest the only real reason I walked into this bar was because it was on a bar crawl. With that being said, the moment I walked into the place I regretted having never been before. The atmosphere and decor of the place is awesome. (you have been forewarned, there are quite a bit of taxidermied animals scattered throughout). The place itself is quite small so things can get cramped. There are a few tables in the back and some seating at the bar, so you may be standing when you come to enjoy a drink. They do have some cool specialty drinks, including one with Yoohoo. Unfortunately, I did stick with a simple cider while I was there. I will most definitely be returning to this bar in the future and will be trying one of their specialty drinks.
google avatar

Jodi G.

Yelp
I don't always visit dive bars, but when I do, I choose Single Wide. This is one of my favorite dives on Lower Greenville. It's been a stop on my Ugly Sweater Pub Crawl the past two years and will likely make it to a third year. Facility: If you're not looking for it, you may miss it. Keep your eyes peeled. It's a small narrow space with kitschy trailer park themed decor. You can squeeze through alongside the bar and sit at one of the few tables in the back if there's no space at the bar. It tends to get packed. If you aren't lucky enough to find a spot on Greenville in front of the bars and restaurants, head to the lot behind the nearby 7-11 which is a very short walk. Drinks/Service: Bartenders and door guys are always super chill and attentive. As usual, my drink of choice is whiskey. However, I have tried the signature frozen Yoohoo Yee-haw on many occasions. It's a tricky drink. The super sweet tootsie roll flavor masks all the well vodka. Proceed with caution!
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
Love this place. Get the yohoo drink. This place has a lot of character and a bar you can't miss.
google avatar

Lily F.

Yelp
This place was nice and I enjoyed my time here. Small with lots of crazy decorations on the walls. What I loved were the bartenders, who were nice and recommended all sorts of drinks. What I didn't care for was this vibe that it made it feel like it was trying to be a dark, dingy dive bar but it was just decorated like that. I heard many great things about its sister bar, double wide. Can't wait to check that out.
google avatar

Allison F.

Yelp
Awesome bar with lots of local draft options! Prices are a little steep (6.50) for a draft beer! The place is different and has a cool vibe!
google avatar

Tanner D.

Yelp
Yahoo YEHAWWW Literally the main reason I come here... Ever been to DB's in Austin? Its like a cleaner less wild version of that. Lots of nice hipster dudes in denim/leather jackets with lots of patches, drinking some sort of craft beers and trying to list bands they've never heard of standing out side. But their nice and seem only slightly judgmental about my collared shirt. Once inside, it is a clean nice little dive bar with semi quiet music. friendly and attentive bartenders who actually make very good drinks. However, I can not order anything but a yahoo yehawww when I go.... Remember those tasty chocolate beverages as kids, well now its frozen and spiked with alcohol. ERRMAHHGURDDD... Its so good and fairly priced. I always recommend at least one when having a night on lower Greenville.
google avatar

Ben E.

Yelp
Trailer park goodness Imagine going to a bar set in a trailer. Think of what the decoration would look like. Yep, some hub caps on the wall. The mandatory velvet Elvis painting complete with fancy frame. On the shelves, all sorts of ceramic mugs, including my favorite, a breast shaped cup. It makes me feel like a kid again just thinking about it. The bartender was funny and knowledgeable, we had a quick chat on how to make a great Old Fashion, ignite the citrus! For this Monday Funday, my friend and I discovered so much. I discovered that there was indeed free parking in Lower Greenville and she discovered a new drink. Who would have thought that a shot of Jameson and pickle juice chaser would really be that tasty? I can see the appeal of Single Wide, not pretentious, great music and good drinks with decor by Dolly Python. Find a seat and park it!
google avatar

Kaia V.

Yelp
Wider than a single wide should be, but that just makes for more space in which people can enjoy themselves. The bar itself is laid out sort of like Ships with a long bar on the left as you enter and a few small tables at the back. They have two pinball type machines in the back, and, more importantly, a megatouch machine at the end of the bar. You know what that means - erotic photo hunt! They have it, and it's only $1 for 4 credits, 1 credit a game. If you get a high score above 400,000, you get a free credit! They have all the Doublewide drink staples - yoohoo yehaw, whiskey pickle, hurritang, well drinks, 'domestic' beers in cans. Wells and domestics are $2 M-F til 9pm, same deal as at Doublewide. Bartenders here are just as friendly, as are the folks drinking here. On Wednesday nights they have a free bingo setup starting at 7pm. It goes on basically the rest of the night. You don't have to be on time to play - just grab a bingo card at the front when you come in. Prizes range in awesomeness, but the basic prize is some candy and a free drink ticket, so that's not so bad. The bingo caller dude gives breaks for smoking and bathroom time, so if you walk in and no bingo is happening it doesn't mean it's over.
google avatar

Juan V.

Yelp
This place is nice and unique very nice atmosphere. Cool choices of drinks and they have hot Cheetos witch was sweet.
google avatar

Lainey H.

Yelp
Dive bar - check. Boone's Farm martini - check. Pixie Stick rim on aforementioned martini - check. Aw Dang shot made with Tang and SoCo - check. Velvet Elvis on the kitschy wood-paneled walls - check. I mean, what else could you want in a bar?
google avatar

Chiqui B.

Yelp
Sorry, but this is a hipster bar in Greenville disguised as a dive. Most of the people who come here probably haven't even been to a real Texas dive. Sunday is kareoke, so beware. WTF Moment: What's up with the smell? Febreeze that shit or something!
google avatar

Bee D.

Yelp
This can be a good or bad thing: They have a small menu of drinks to choose from and I had trouble finding a menu to pick from. The staff is very welcoming so that's a huge plus. I ended up getting their Yoo-Hoo drink which is the only drink option I'm familiar with because of their Double Wide location. As always, I recommend the Yoo-Hoo drink. I love the atmosphere here. Near the entrance, there is a table where you can sit at and peek outside. There's the bar area where you can sit at. There's also an area near the back with plenty of seating and few tables. I loved the seating area. I definitely plan to come back here but perhaps when it's not so busy.
