Sip & Sonder at the Music Center

They never seem to have much in the way of pastries to go with the coffee. And something about the way they are set results in a too long wait for your order to be made, no matter how busy (or not) they seem to be. But if you heading in to Disney Hall for an event, it's pretty much your only option.

This place is never open. Tourists all over the place...shuttered up.

Sip and Sonder at The Music Center is a nice coffee Kiosk just outside Walt Disney Concert Hall. I liked to order coffee from Sip and Sonder before attending the concert, so I will be in the perfect mood. Coffee and Classic Music will definitely nourish the soul and the mind. I ordered Iced honey rose latte with almond milk. It had rich flavor of coffee with perfect sweetness& subtle floral flavor from honey rose. My husband hot hot honey rose latte, and said it was perfect too. Despite what other reviews are saying in their review about their hours, I always ordered from this place before the concert and of course it was open. The service was fast although the line was long. The barista was a very nice and friendly young lady. There are many available comfortable seatings covered with umbrellas. we had great time and service.

Excellent service every time I pop ny. Mikaela (sp?) always takes extra special care of me and is always exuding such positive energy. She and other staff members are always happy to offer suggestions and accommodate any special requests. Love that I'm able to support a black owned small business in the area. Not to mention both the lattes and the chais I've had from here have been divine. Hot and cold. There's a cutesy space where you can sip and sonder, meet with friends, work quietly (depending on what you consider quiet on a busy city street), or read a book or magazine. Totally would be ideal for a coffee day date. My only gripe are the hours. I wish they were open longer! But totally understand why they aren't. Still. Lol But listen, try this place out...you'll love it! Note: this is a satellite location, the original brick and mortar location is in Inglewood

Drinks are good but literally are NEVER open. Willing to spend my money here every morning for work but never can. What a shame.

I live across the street and this place is closed 99% of the time. 100s of tourists are in the neighborhood every day visiting the local museums. They should be making easy money everyday. This owner clearly doesn't know how to run a business.

This little coffee shop has great coffee and pastries. Why the 2 stars? Their hours of operation is extremely inconsistent. They have their hours posted as 9am to 1pm, Monday thru Friday. It's Tuesday at 9:54am. Coffee shop isn't open. This is the 3rd time in last past month they either haven't opened or opened late. On to the next!

This place is NEVER open. Not sure how they can make any money when they have such limited hours. Tourists everywhere looking for snacks. Do better Sip and Sonder.

A pretty average coffee shop but nothing special IMO. DTLA has a ton of great coffee options, I'd only go here again out of convenience not quality. I ordered a flat white which should be espresso and a little milk and I was given a latte at best. Better than Starbucks, not nearly on the level of other speciality coffee locations in the area like Laveta, Andante, ilcaffè, etc

Best Chai. Best coffee as well. Welcoming environment. Such a cool vibe and it's BLACk owned and operated!!! So worth checking out. And check out the other businesses.

Great location, nice little coffee stand, but $6.79 for what looked like a 4 or 6oz Cortado with half&half? Overhyped and obviously overpriced. Otherwise great!

I had the pleasure of meeting co-owner, Shanita, before today's concert. Many shops with a social mission skimp on quality. Not Sip & Sonder. I ordered a straight espresso to really taste the coffee and am happy to report beans, roast and barista skills were all first rate. I look forward to my next visit.

Such a cute coffee shop and I really want to love Sip & Sonder but my experience there has been so so. The music can get really loud. The hot lattes are Lukewarm. And, I've noticed on many occasions that the baristas rarely if ever greet customers, as well as lack basic customer service skills.

Friendly people and terrific coffee. I really enjoyed the iced Onyx. My new go to coffee spot in downtown LA!
