Sip Unwine

So i just ordered food from Sip Unwine, a neighborhood Caribbean spot, on Uber Eats (you know Corona, so i couldn't go there). Now I've passed this spot multiple times and never had the time to go in. Always had people milling about so i said I'd visit and have a #Fridate here summer and then we'd walk home but here we are. Well, this was my first taste of their food and let me tell you everything was good! What i did have issue with were the portion sizes and composition of certain dishes.. the flatbread portion seemed skimpy with special emphasis on the FLAT aspect of the flatbread. It tasted delicious but i wondered about the price-portion ratio. The chicken sandwich had me suprised that it was plain old sandwich bread, not a specialty bun like brioche or sesame or even plain old potato bread from the grocery...it was Wonder bread -toasted with fries. At that price, i expected better bread options. Even Popeye's chicken sandwich has a bun! The mac and cheese was the only dish that portion and price were aligned. I love my Caribbean restaurants and I try to support regional efforts as much as possible but... this is always the issue that makes me limit eating to dine-in and never ordering Caribbean food because you end up paying a lot for a little. Please just take the portion control into account. The food was absolutely delicious, even the skimpy flatbread so I will take the stroll and walk to the restaurant or just order 2 mac and cheese orders if i ever order again (doubtful)... that flatbread portion broke my heart 💔... made it as small as the bread for the chicken sandwich.

Food is DELICIOUS!!!! Especially the flat bread pizza. Little wait time at the bar but the rum punch was worth it !!! UPDATE: SEAFOOD SATURDAYS here is the PERFECT way to "Sip & Unwine" Employees are very friendly, helpful and make sure that we are okay. Probably my new fav spot for rn.🙌🏾❤

A spot with potential. Service was a bit slow we ordered 2 appetizers and they did not come out at the same time, it was a bit of a wait. Our server did apologize and tried to make up for it. Drinks were decent. The atmosphere is more of a hole in the wall handout spot.

Great place! My visits are always fun and a pleasure to be there. The foods are amazing! My favorites are the Mac and cheese with the shrimp and the loaded fries. Anyone looking for a fun loving place and great food go to sipunwine because it's the best place to be.. I personally luv it there.. I gave them 5 stars

Food is Delicious. Drinks are great. The atmosphere with the live DJ is so nice. Perfect spot to unwind and hang out after a long day our long week. You won't regret it.

I had a pretty nice time here! A friend of mine rented out the front space to have a baby shower. The staff was very accommodating and kind. The food was yummy and the drinks were tasty & strong. Great GREAT dancing music. It can get a little chilly in the space since it's super cold outside, make sure the door is shut securely when you exit and enter the space:)

Yummy, yummy, yummy! Quaint, cozy, cute place. Great drinks and amazing eats! Wide selection of wine, but I'm a cocktail kinda girl. Wonderful odes to the Caribbean located throughout the restaurant. Certainly won't disappoint your taste buds. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Great music and good vibes! Check them out!
