The First Day I Got My Michelin Stars: Siren by RW’s Robert Wiedmaier

"Guided by Michelin expectations of ambience, service, and food, this restaurant saw Wiedmaier bring his Marcel’s team in to train the staff and limit reservations; he says he wouldn’t want to walk into a Michelin-starred restaurant and have mediocre service, expects unbelievable service and an unbelievable wine list, and notes they’re working diligently on that while attracting strong applicants eager to work at a Michelin-starred spot." - Abbe Baker

The ice cream was good. Don't go for Italian Ice because the mean lady will tell you her wrist hurts too much to scoop it. She also constantly berated my 13 year old son who was doing nothing wrong. She fussed at us (9 paying customers who all purchased ice cream) for blocking the back door, standing outside, when NO ONE was even close to coming in to the place, while we were eating the ice cream we just purchased. She fussed at my sweet 5 year old nephew because he was three steps away from his grandma. The only reason I didn't say something while I was there was because with someone that grouchy, well I didn't know what she was capable of doing if someone complained. I never write reviews either if that tells you anything.

Our family ate here for dinner, ice-cream and came back for breakfast. Everything here is cooked from scratch...nothing frozen but the ice cream!!! The atmosphere was perfect, it was SUPER CLEAN, no long waits and the owners were so kind and friendly!!! We truly felt like we were home with family! We definitely will be back! Did I mention the food was WONDERFUL?????

My family was staying nearby and decided to walk over for ice cream. We ordered 3 waffle cones with 2 scoops each (around $10 each) and a sugar cone w 1 scoop (around $7-8). When they told us it cost over $50 I was shocked. My ice cream had freezer burn (the pirates treasure) and the others we ordered were ok. They said the reason it was $50 was added fees and taxes. I can understand the taxes but they had a mandatory gratuity on there and I’m uncertain about the other fee. No other restaurant nearby charged us those additional fees. The guy who took my order didn’t even stay to help my family. So we had to tell the cashier what we wanted to get the rest of the order. If you want good ice cream, go elsewhere. If you are staying nearby and don’t feel like driving, go ahead but be prepared to pay. I’ll add that we went to the crazy Mason the next night. 4 full-size milkshakes in souvenir mason jars for $60 with great service.

I’ve gone here twice since being at the beach this week. I got ice cream the first night, it was delicious. Tonight me and my husband got food. Everything is made fresh and to order, it is delicious. They will have bar items coming soon! The owners are extremely friendly too. Amazing costumer service. Can’t wait to go back again .

The male at the ice cream counter was extremely rude! We first asked how much are the different sizes and he seemed really annoyed. I asked for two samples (banana foster and mint chocolate chip). He said only 1 sample. And I said I'm trying to decide what flavor to get can't I just try a little of each. He seemed to get angry. He did give me a little of each and mumbled under his breath they are pretty standard. I was with a party of 6 and everyone couldn't believe how rude he was to all of us. Terrible customer service. The lady who checked us out was very friendly and sweet! Yummy ice cream! It was $5 for the tiny kids scoop though.

Stayed nearby and walked over to get ice cream for my granddaughter. I got a kids scoop for her, and it was $6+ to which I replied, for the kids scoop? thinking she had gotten it confused with an adult scoop. Well, when I checked out, the owner was rude stating that her daughter had told her I had complained about the price of the ice cream. (I did question to make sure it was a kids scoop) I was also purchasing candy to which she responded smartly that I may not want to purchase it because it was $16.?? per pound. I honestly didn't mean to sound as if I was complaining but yes, I did question if I was being charged for an adult or child. Cute shop but I will spend my money elsewhere.

The lady was a very rude person. Got mad at me for "leaning on the glass" when I wasn't even touching it.
