"Wallingford has an astounding number of Thai restaurants, but Sisi Kay stands out above the rest across 45th. Noodles have punchy flavors and crispy bits from the wok, curries are thick and vibrant, and their black pepper fried rice is our preferred carb to spoon sauce onto. But the best dish is their roasted duck curry—an instant mood-booster of duck breast with crackling-like skin submerged in a coconut curry made with apple, lychee, and pineapple." - aimee rizzo
"Forty-fifth in Wallingford is fully stocked with Thai restaurants, but none of the other ones are in a gorgeous converted house with a wrought iron staircase winding up the front. (This was where May Kitchen was until 2019.) Sisi Kay also has a creative menu that includes a tom yum pizza you just have to order and linguini with a tom kha sauce. If you’re keeping things relatively traditional, try the roast duck curry, which comes with a rich red curry that has apples in it for a dash of sharp sweetness. You can get takeout here but that seems like a waste of a cool space — come in, sit down, chill out with a cocktail or a lychee lemonade." - Harry Cheadle
"Previously under the name of May Restaurant and Bar, Sisi Kay Eatery is housed in an ornate building in Wallingford that will almost make you believe that you’re in Thailand. Offering a mix of both classic favorites and modern twists, Sisi Kay’s dishes are reliably delicious and flavorful. The Pad Thai Boran — a traditional version of the beloved noodle dish— is arguably one of the best in town, topped with fresh banana flower. The roast duck curry served in a rich red curry with pineapple and lychee is another crowd favorite. If you’re feeling adventurous, order the tom yum pizza topped with tom yum paste, cheese, prawns, and calamari." - Alicia Erickson

"Watching football inside on a cold fall Sunday can be a very comforting experience. If you want to double down on that coziness, a meal from Sisi Kay is a must. We love this Wallingford Thai spot for their panang chicken and black pepper fried rice, but the only thing that can truly amplify curling up under a blanket as the Seahawks win in another blowout is a bowl of their roasted duck curry. With crispy skin, tender meat, and a phenomenal spicy coconut sauce made with apples, lychee, and pineapple, this thing is more impressive than the Hawks' 2021 season. Sorry, but we mean it." - aimee rizzo
