More Restaurant Openings to Know in Austin, July 2025 | Eater Austin

"One of our most anticipated openings of the year, this restaurant at the Frances Modern Inn showcases a menu by chef Laila Bazahm (also of El Raval on South Lamar, previously executive chef at Eberly, with restaurants in Barcelona, Singapore, Houston, and Ibiza) that marries tapas-style small plates with finger foods from Singapore hawker centers. Look for dishes including a hiramasa (yellowtail king fish) with Tom Kha Kai broth, Thai chili oil, Asian herb emulsion, smoked trout roe, and Asian pear; Sambal Striped Bass that is banana leaf-wrapped and grilled, served with pineapple and tomato salad plus nasi lemak; and charcoal-fired lamb chops with butter masala, tamarind, and naan with cheese." - Courtney E. Visiting The Frances Modern Inn’s new restaurant by Chef Laila Bazahm for modern Southeast Asian food. I particularly enjoyed the beef cheek rendang and striped bass. I could’ve eaten two portions of the striped bass. The beef cheeks were so tender and hearty. We were actually too full for dessert, but I was interested in their unique take on tiramisu. Before we left, I took a quick snap of our AAPI Heroes Mural Campaign piece of Yuri Kochiyama and Malcolm X by Thao French and Chris Rogers. It’s still in beautiful condition, and the Inn owner still wants to get arielist dancers to perform on the mural for any special civil rights occasion. Love this town.

I was on my way to another (unamed) restaurant but I found it to be cramped and too loud for my taste. I moved on and found this pearl I never heard of before: Siti. Atmosphere: beautifully decorated, even the bathroom (I always check restaurant's bathroom for cleanliness). See pictures. Food: my first exposure to Southeast Asian cuisine was positive. I ordered the Roti Canai with Lamb Curry. It was wonderful. The lamb was well cooked in a brown sauce with a nice spixy after kick. My Copi-C coffee was strong and slightly sweetened with condensed milk. That was my dessert. Service: slightly amateurish but well-meaning and friendly. Price point: on the high side but it seems that all restaurants in Austin are expensive these days. $5.00 for a bottle of sparkling water is outrageous. Total bill too high for what I got. I will come back and try other dishes. Chef Alain Braux

I’ve been to Siti a few times now and it just keeps getting better. They’ve only been open for about 4 months, but you can tell how much thought and care goes into everything—from the service to the updated menu. I brought a friend this time to show them one of my new favorite spots in Austin, and it didn’t disappoint. We started with the Hiramasa, which was super fresh and such a fun, refreshing take on a crudo. The Pomelo & Citrus Salad had the perfect balance—bright, a little kick, and the pomelo kept it light. And of course, I had to get the Wok-Fried Rice Noodles with Duck again because it’s just that good. You can taste the Filipino influence in every dish in a way that feels creative but comforting. The team was really attentive and warm without being overbearing. Overall, Siti just nails that blend of elevated and approachable dining that makes you want to come back again and again.

Google
What can I say? Amazing! From start to finish. The staff was attentive and courteous and the food was so interesting and flavorful. We enjoyed dinner and liked it so much that we came back the next two days for their brunch. We can't wait to visit Austin again so we can come back. We highly recommend you give Siti a try, you won't regret it!

Google
This review is for the brunch menu. Server said the chef is Filipino and this is Filipino inspired. But I don't see much Filipino dishes on the menu. They didnt have the Kopi?! This is brunch is called Kopi-Tiam but why no kopi! I had Longanisa. It's too salty for me. There's not enough garlic rice. Kaya toast is not really a toast but soft bread. It came with soft boiled egg mixed with soy sauce. The ambiance and service is really good. Maybe food better on dinner.

Google
Beautiful interior and fantastic service. Food was alright. We did the chefs tasting menu which is meat/seafood and wine pairing. Note that the wine tasting is only 4 wines but the food tasting is 5 items with the last wine being a dessert sweet wine. The tasting menu is a good option if you want to try a lot of the menu. Portions are pretty big. I think it is only offered 5-6. Best thing I ate were the oysters. So delish and even ordered more after the tasting. Worth checking out to see if it’s your flavor profile. It’s awesome to have the Austin food scene expanding. I think for me, it was a miss for the food.

Had a 5:15pm reservation and unfortunately had one of the most frustrating dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. It wasn’t crowded when we arrived, but it took 30 minutes to get drinks and more than 70 minutes to receive our first dish. The chili crab and lobster never came out at all, even after an hour and a half and several “it’s on the way” updates from our server. No manager ever came by, and we had to flag down our server multiple times just to get basic info. Meanwhile, as the restaurant got busier, everyone around us seemed to be getting their food without delays. We ended up leaving without the dish we were most excited to try. The dishes we did receive were delicious, which makes the lack of communication and follow-through even more disappointing. Update: The manager reached out after our first visit and review and invited us back, and I’m really glad we gave Siti another try. Our second experience was excellent — service was attentive and timely, the food was outstanding, and the pricing felt very fair. Huge improvement across the board. They truly made things right, and we’ll definitely be returning.

Google
What a great new restaurant! They opened around June 2025 and they have some of the most delicious Southeast Asian food in Austin. We got the chicken satay, pork belly, wok fried noodles, and banana split. Everything was so good and rich. The Galangal Grove cocktail was great, although I didn't care for the Arrak & Aura one as much. We were full and had a great time. This hotel restaurant is really well decorated and if you get a table off to the side it isn't too noisy.

Yelp
Siti has quickly become one of my go-to spots in Austin. They've only been open for a few months, but you can already see how much they've evolved--the new menu updates are chef's kiss. I took a friend here to show them why I've been raving about this place. We had the Hiramasa, which was beautifully plated and incredibly fresh--such a refreshing spin on crudo. The Pomelo & Citrus Salad was bright and punchy with just the right amount of heat, and the Wok-Fried Rice Noodles with Duck is a dish I literally order every time. The flavors are layered and rich, with those subtle Filipino details that make it stand out from anything else in town. Service is always on point--attentive, kind, and genuinely proud of what they're serving. Siti feels like that rare spot that's both exciting and comforting at the same time. If you haven't been yet, go now before everyone else catches on.

Yelp
Siti is a new southeast-asian fusion restaurant located in the bottom floor of the eclectic Frances "modern inn". I was not aware of a dedicated lot so you will have to find street parking off 11th street which usually has a decent amount of spots within a 3 - 5 minute walk. The ambiance when you first walk in is great - it's a nice modern build with beautiful sharp colors and high end finishes. Definitely worthy of a "step-it-up date night" type of spot. Service is great, and menu is just the right size. There's a mix of lighter bites (apps, smalls, satays, sides) and about 4 - 5 "larger entrees" so it's easy to stay focused without being overwhelmed. The most important part of a restaurant is its food, and Siti DELIVERED. I'm usually skeptical walking into a fusion restaurant because sometimes they overdo the fusion and lose the essence of the base cuisine that is so important to the actual flavors and dishes. Siti does not make this fatal flaw and you truly taste the southeastern core of every dish (strong coconut, lemongrass, etc) while adding just a whisp of new to make it fresh and exciting. Every dish we ordered was amazing, but if force ranked: Laksa - I would eat this everyday. It's so creamy, savory, and yet not too heavy. Roti - fried just right, flavored without being forceful Chicken Satay - literally perfect. The accompanying pickles and acidity blended with the mild salty char so well Beef Randang - a bit heavy but intended to mix with the banana leaf rice which really balances out the dish. Overall Siti blew me away. I think I've been disappointed in the last 3 - 4 new "Asian fusion"' places I've been and Siti is now restoring my faith in the idea that Asian fusion can be executed well. I will be back!

Yelp
I'm happy there's finally a good Asian restaurant close to downtown. I had the coconut water here that was very refreshing. Food: Nasi goreng with La Barbecue beef - delicious Roti canai with lamb curry - very good Oysters - very good; the sauce was southeast Asian in flavor Beef cheeks - good

Yelp
Came here for a Sunday brunch with Lauren L. Was a spot she was hoping to try and I'm always game to explore something different on the East side. The restaurant itself is stunning inside - great use of space and lots of little nooks and crannies that make it feel cozy even though you're in a space with plenty of other tables. Our waiter was welcoming, but wasn't necessarily the most attentive (we had to remind him of a few things we had specified or ordered). However, the food was extremely well prepared and flavorful. I had the Smoked La Barbecue Brisket Nasi Goreng without any egg (both in the fried rice itself or on top). The portion was healthy in size, the flavors were solid and the chili sauces to the side added just the right amount of kick to my liking. We split the Sautéed Seasonal Greens, which were a nice balance to the main dish. I am a pulled tea super fan and they have it on the menu, iced. The Iced Teh Tarek was smooth and rich. This was a nice little escape to Southeast Asia in terms of the flavors.

Yelp
At first I thought this was fusion. But I'm glad it's not, and instead, it is a nice reimagining of dishes using ingredients available here. Grilled Seabass -- nice spicy sambal. At first, I thought the fish was nice and smokey. However, it turns out that they burned their fish, so much so that the bitterness permeated through the flesh, especially on the edges. When I inspected the skin, the perimeter of the skin was blackened. Imagine outlining the skin of the fish with a black sharpie that is about half a centimeter wide. This lead to a very unpleasant bitterness. The bitterness took the enjoyment out of the fish when eaten alone. However, I realized that to enjoy this dish, one should combine the fish with the accompanying ingredients. When put together make a really great bite. Unfortunately, the bitterness of the fish was a negative. Beef Cheek -- tender beef cheek. This dish was under-seasoned. A reasonable adjustment would be to include more of the slightly pickled herbs. Technically there was lime and more sambal, but the herbs would have lended a continual contrast to the richness of the beef. Rice -- I preferred the nasi santan served with the fish compared to the banana leaf pandan rice served with the beef cheek. Banana Split -- this was basically a deconstructed banana split, similar to most of the dishes here, where each component is separate. Each element was uninteresting on its own, but the combinations led to good bites. House Shrub -- this was pleasant and herbal, with at least galangal and maybe some ginger. My overall impressions of their food: Grilling of their fish was poor executed. Vegetable elements were really well done, and if you combine everything, then the flavors are quite good. However, is this choose your own adventure eating? It is with Siti. The staff don't mention this at all; you just have to realize that all their foods are presented as separate components. All dishes we ordered had their components separated. The components alone were rather boring, but putting everything together makes for wonderful bites. However, it can be risky to separate the components without informing a patron who doesn't know any better. I would suggest a bit more guidance when eating to those less informed (e.g. provide a suggestion to combine certain items when presenting the dish). As for the restaurant itself, it's rather charming inside. There is some booth seating along the wall by the bathroom, and there are mahjong pieces setup in certain corners. The lights are neat. There's a bar. The noise level can be loud, while some of the staff are soft spoken.

Yelp
THE BIG: Located in East Austin right off of E 11th street. This southeast asian fusion restaurant combines the best of all southeast asian cuisines and in one spot! Street parking available. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here with the wife on a friday night and had a reservation but my flight came in late. Fortunately we were able to snag a spot at the bar and order there. The interior is super nice and vibey like an upscale speakeasy. For food, we got three dishes that included the Ayam penyet wings, roti canai and chili crab claws. Everything tasted great, however the portions were small. The chili crab claws were cute and you got the soak in the flavors of the curry from the dish. The chicken wings werea good size and came with a nice dipping sauce. I also can't complain about the roti canai that came with bone marrow. So so good *drool* THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, the damage done here for three dishes was around $102. Hefty but delicious dish. I'd definitely come back to try more dishes.

Yelp
Great spot to try SE Asian / Singaporean food in Austin! There was one menu item that drew us in and the Chili Crab & Lobster dish is a must order (and repeat)! It's been a few years since we've visited Singapore, and this dish along with the friend Mantou brought back awesome memories!!! It was our first visit and we'll definitely be back with friends to try more! Dishes ordered: - Beef short rib stay - perfectly tender and great char - Roti Canai - the roti was under cooked (chewy with raw dough) and greasy, bone marrow and curry dip lacked flavor / seasoning. - Chili Crab & Lobster - for this dish alone, I'm rating Siti 5 The XO sauce was a wonderful balance between spicy and sweet. While the mantou was a bit over fried on the outside; however the inside was pillowy soft and made the perfect vessel to cover in chili sauce and top with lobster.

Yelp
checked out @sitiatx two weeks ago + still thinking about that bass. restaurant staff super nice, helpful + accommodating. I called a few days ahead to add a person to my reservation + although we couldn't add someone for that specific time, the host provided me with other options. when those didn't work, he offered to take my name in case of cancellations. so considerate. it's a smaller restaurant so reservations are a must! our server was a lovely guy + kept our waters full! all of the food was delicious. it was really southeast asian comfort food if you ask me, a non-southeast asian woman who hasn't eaten much food from the culture . we were only saddened by the portion sizes + the wait time for the extra food we ordered. we are used to eating family style + that's what we expected from this cultural place but, the three items we initially ordered wasn't enough for the two of us. we ordered an extra dish and it took so. long. to come out. after a while, I asked our waiter for the ticket + he was shocked that it still hadn't come out. in the end, Siti is delicious + hats off to the chef for bringing something different (and executing it well!) to the east austin food scene.

Yelp
4.5 All in all this was a super satisfying and tasty meal. First, you have to go in with the mindset that this won't be authentic southeast Asian food; rather it's inspired by. I saw some descriptions which said this was elevated Southeast Asian but i still think inspired by is more accurate. Chicken wings: the favorite of the table. These are the largest wings I've ever seen in my LIFE. And the crispiest crisp that there ever was. Great flavors, and LOOOOOVED the tangy citrusy green sambal it came with. 11/10. Charred cabbage: this was a very pleasant surprise. Charred cabbage and bokchoy swimming in a mild green curry. Super substantial dish and great with a squeeze of lime over rice. Note: you must squeeze on the lime, it needs the acidic lift. 8/10. Kare kare oxtail: super generous portion (the bowl was packed), but the kare kare sauce itself was a little lacking in the peanutty oomph. I prefer the kare kare at Oko. 7/10 Roti canai with bone marrow: I'm so split on the dish and probably because the name is roti canai instead of naan with red curry. My favorite part of roti canai is always the flaky buttery layery roti. There was no roti here. It was naan/pita. And it was a nice soft fluffy bread but it just was not roti. So, if you go in knowing that ..9/10? Wok fired rice noodles with duck leg and Chinese sausage: I really liked this dish-- the flavors were great, and it had a kick to it even before adding the sambal. Was not stingy on the meats. 9/10. Beef cheeks: this is supposedly inspired by rendang. There was no detectable connection, however, to rendang. Beef cheeks were tender, but flavor fell a little flat. 6/10. Banana split: okay. I liked that the bananas were brûléed instead of just raw. Thy were the smaller sweeter South asian bananas too. Loved the chocolate namelaka -- it was a semi bitter chocolate that offered the whole dish a good balance. The pandan cream however lacked any pandan flavor. 6/10. Oreo miso ice cream: delicious (and we suspect from the merry monarch?). Great balance of flavors. 10/10. A great addition to our Austin food scene. Lovely interior. Great drinks.

Yelp
Siti is my new favorite eatery! The vibe is Southeastern Grandma in aesthetic and vision. The happy hour is the best in town. They have a 5 course tasting menu (chef's choice) for $35, yes, only $35 from 5pm-6pm. I've experienced this twice. Both times were AMAZING! Please also remember the chef also owns El Raval, a Spanish tapas eatery on S. Lamar. She also beat Bobby Flay in a Filipino cook off (Season 39). Highly, highly recommend!

Yelp
Giving 4 stars for the great creativity and service of siti. While the concept is great and presentation of the dishes were beautiful, the flavors just fell a little flat for me. Having lived most of my life in the Bay Area eating at a variety of Singaporean restaurants (and also having been to Singapore), this meal paled a bit in comparison of flavor and seemed a bit overpriced. I'd skip the bone marrow, the dessert (it says pandan but was barely any pandan flavor), the chili crab, and the lamb. The deep fried spring rolls, beef cheeks, charred cabbage ($21 was a little steep), and roti was good.

Yelp
Had a wonderful experience at Siti! My husband and I made reservations at 5:30pm on a Friday night, but were late because of our flights. They were kind to cancel our reservation and seat us at the bar when we arrived at 6pm. Service is exceptional and the food choices are incredible. We had the Chicken Wings, Roti, and Chili Crab, which was enough to share for two people. Each dish was blasting with flavor. Chicken wings were crispy and moist. I loooved the Roti, but wished there was more meat in the bone marrow. They gave us on accident a Chili Crab with Lobster. It was alot of meat and very tasting! Overall, this is a great spot for unique cuisine in Austin. Highly recommend making a reservation!

Yelp
Overall, I thought the food of this new Malaysian restaurant was good, but a lot more expensive than it needed to me. The location on east 6th is really great. There's plenty of shops and bars nearby to add to dinner which I think is fun. The restaurant itself is stunning, has beautiful wallpaper, lots of vintage and antique touches. The service is fast, personable, and lively. I ordered the wok fried noodles with duck ($38). The noodles remind me a lot of pad see ew which you can get in Austin for under $20. I just think it was really pricey for the portion size that it was. While shareable, you would need probably 3-4 dishes for two people. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't memorable or unique. I also tried the Roti Canai ($15) that came with a bone marrow and a curry to dip with. I mainly have had negative experiences with bone marrow - seems more effort than it's worth. The fat from the bone marrow was good, and the roti was super buttery and soft. I enjoyed this dish the most. For dessert, we got the banana split ($13) that had chocolate namelaka, pandan cream, Sinagpore Sling cherries. I like the Asian fusion on a classic American dessert, but I don't think the Asian-inspired taste really came through for me, but I still enjoyed it, especially the brulee-d banana tops.

Yelp
We ate at Siti for our anniversary diner and would rate it 4/5. (3.5 rounded up) 1. grilled pork belly - this was my favorite, juicy and flavorful pork 2. chicken satay - shubhs favorite, it was definitely much bigger than other satay i've had, decent 3. nasi lemak - high hopes for one of my fav breakfast dishes aka dried fish, fried egg, shrimp paste. it was delicious except the portions of the fish were so small, i mentioned to the server they skimped out. glad we tried Siti, it was a solid dinner! PSA it is very loud inside and they only let you order the food "family-style" aka placing all the orders at once.

Yelp
We dined here a week after their opening day. I was surprised to find it was busy on a Wednesday evening, like what you'd typically see on the weekend. We came with reservations and were seated immediately. The menu isn't extensive so it's not that hard to decide what to order. We shared 3 plates, the laksa, charred cabbage, and beef rendang (listed in order of when they arrived on. I've been to better Southeast Asian restaurants in cities like Atlanta, owned by actual Southeast Asians. Although Siti is in a great location & well designed, the Durian sign did feel "gimmicky" and none of the dishes particularly left a memorable impression. The beef chunks in the rendang didn't taste like beef (or maybe the chef chose too many fatty ones), and the laksa only had 1 piece of shrimp/2 scallops. The pandan rice tasted off. Service was choppy as well, but I gather this will improve after a month in business! If I had to pick a favorite, probably the charred cabbage :)

Yelp
Located at what used to be Poeta, this restaurant was reimagined into a very intimate space with Southeast Asian influences. My party of 4 was seated in the back patio, and although it was enclosed, it was still pretty hot in the Texas heat. The service was great and we were checked on multiple times. The bone marrow was a great value at $15, the pork belly was a generous serving, and the satay was so tender and flavorful as was their take on the beef rendang. They also gave us some Asian inspired ice cream, which wasn't my favorite, but it capped off the night well.

Yelp
We stopped in a couple of weeks ago for a date-night. We were very excited when we heard this new restaurant was coming to town. The menu was super fresh and unique. We showed up a few minutes early for our reservation and started our visit out with a couple of cocktails. I had the Root and Ritual, a FANTASTIC take on an old-fashioned style cocktail. My wife tried the Arrak and Aura and we were both blown away, it was one of the most unique cocktails we have had in a long time. Both drinks were 5/5 stars. Once seated, the service was great, friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered the hiramasa, chicken wings, spring rolls, beef cheeks, roti, crab fried rice, and teh-tarik misu. The hiramasa and crab fried rice were the stars of the show. The beef cheek and misu were close runners up. I found myself wishing the beef cheek had a little more variety in texture and spice. The wings were not bad either. Spring rolls were a little underwhelming and the roti was too oily to enjoy. I also had the Die Die Must Try cocktail, and despite being a lover of tequila and bloody marys, I found it not to my liking. The garlic in the sriacha simple overwhelmed the rest of the flavors. There was an issue with one of our dishes, but the restaurant did an excellent job of addressing that issue, kudos to the front and back of house on that. Despite everything, I was back and forth between a 4 and 5 star rating. The prices in this restaurant meant I had to judge a little more harshly than I would have for a more affordable restaurant. I can justify these prices if there weren't any misses, but that just wasn't the case. I will make a return visit after they have been up and running for a while and see how it is once they have hit their stride.

Yelp
Siti is hands-down one of the best new restaurants in Austin. I have multiple food allergies (gluten, dairy, eggs), and Laila, the chef and co-owner, personally emailed me beforehand with a full breakdown of safe options. That level of care is so rare and immediately made me feel comfortable picking this spot for a large group dinner. We were seated in a semi-private room, which worked perfectly for our group. Parking was simple, and the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere struck the right balance of modern, romantic, and welcoming. The service was truly outstanding. Our servers were warm and attentive throughout the evening, and one of the chefs, Eddie, came out to introduce himself, take a group photo for us, and chat with the table. His kindness and humility made the night feel extra special. As for the food--it was phenomenal. The mushroom + eggplant satay was the standout for me: rich, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I could have eaten several orders of it. I also had the pomelo and citrus salad, which was refreshing and surprisingly large for being listed as a starter. We shared the pork belly ssam, which was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor--one of the best pork dishes I've had in Austin. Drinks were wonderful too; my sparkling rosé paired beautifully with everything. I didn't try dessert myself, but my friends ordered the banana split and tiramisu and said they were the best they'd ever eaten. Portions across the board were generous, and everyone left with leftovers. Between the warm hospitality, incredible food, and welcoming atmosphere, Siti is already one of the best restaurants in East Austin. I'll absolutely be back--especially for that satay.

Yelp
We were excited to try El Raval's new restaurant, Siti. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The restaurant itself is lovely - and we were seated in a corner wrap-around booth. The vibe is colorful, lively and the interior design is definitely inspiration-worthy. The menu is not extensive but chock-full of options that you would want to try (the best kind of menu!). We settled on the Pomelo and Citrus salad, Charred Cabbage, Eggplant Satay, Roti Canai, and Nasi Lemak. It's hard to know where to start - but our favorite was the Pomelo and Citrus salad. The flavors were surprisingly delicious, with a kick of spice. The Eggplant Satay is also a must-order. They come with a delicious peanut sauce and are perfectly cooked so they just about fall apart as you eat them (in a good way). We were most excited for charred cabbage, but felt the sauce was a bit heavier than we expected. Overall, a great meal. Next time we will leave room for dessert!

Yelp
We had the pleasure of being some of the first diners at this amazing restaurant that opened in our neighborhood a few days ago. Less than five minute walk for us, located at the Frances Modern Inn; the former Poeta spot. A welcoming environment from the moment you step foot in the door. Excitement buzzing about amongst patrons and staff. Everyone so happy to be part of this delicious adventure. Siti is the brainstorm of the folks at El Rava (Spanish spot on S. Lamar). Chef Laila Bazahm has created a masterpiece of a menu. The charred Serrano curry cabbage with peas and green beans is mind-blowing (also available at the sister restaurant, El Rava). The way all of the flavors of that dish come together with just the right amount of curry is spectacular. A healthy dish that doesn't make you feel like you're missing out because it's quite filling too. Banana leaf rice (banana leaf stuffed with rice) and a chicken satay as sides made for a perfect meal. Wagyu spring rolls (with shrimp) and wings are phenomenal. The menu contains other items such as raw oysters, lamb chops, roti, and more. The drinks menu offers a variety of still and sparkling wines, beers, and house cocktails. The Root & Ritual is so good. It's made with a saffron rice rye. Such unique and refreshing flavors. Siti is going to be one of the places that I can't wait to take out-of-town guests to for dinner. So lucky to have them in our hood.

Yelp
So impressed, our group of eight people they had no problem seating us. Cozy room that still had room for six more people at the table. Server was polite, worked with us on separating the tickets. The food we could not say enough great things about.

Yelp
Everything about this spot was amazing!! Incredible food, vibe and service. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor. Standouts were the laksa, the grilled fish in banana leaf and the chili crab. Everything was rich and comforting with just the right level of spice. So happy to have something new and different in Austin! The dining room is absolutely beautiful. It feels special without being too formal or stuffy. It's the kind of place where you actually want to hang out for a while and enjoy the full experience. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited about the menu. He gave great recommendations and checked in often without being annoying. It made the whole night feel easy and relaxed. Prices are on the higher side, but totally worth it for the quality and experience. Can't wait to go back!!

Yelp
We went for happy hour and ordered off the happy hour menu. When we got the bill, it was all regular menu prices.....about $60 more than happy hour prices. The waiter had no explanation but wouldn't revise the bill. I think he might have done it to up the total cost for his tip. I really hope it's just a dishonest waiter (his name was Rohan) and not a bait and switch policy of the restaurant. The food was good and it's around the corner from our house. I called the manager the next day and he apologized and refunded the overcharges

Yelp
Food - 8. Service-8. Ambience -9. Price 5. It was a cool little restaurant. Something different w interesting food. Disappointed w the cocktails. Kind of pricey and small and not great. I understand things have gotten expensive but this, I thought, was priced high for the experience. I might recommend but warn about the prices.

Yelp
really disappointed in our experience here, brought a friend who was visiting from out of town and it left much to be desired. bar program is killing it, hence the two stars. however, our service was subpar- the waiter literally read the menu to us, and in the nicest way possible i can read- add value to it and say we recommend 1-2 small bites and 1 main dish or something. the wagyu spring rolls were inconsistent and greasy, the short rib was overcooked and tough, and the laksa was misleading on the menu, and came with the two smallest scallops ever and the prawns seemed to have gone bad- we each took one bite and put them to the side. the bathroom was also totally out of soap at 7 pm and after eating roti with my hands was kinda gross. just an upsetting experience for an out of town guest and 150+ bill.

Yelp
Holy shit this place is great. We got the wok fired rice noodle, laksa, and eggplant satay. Every dish was delicious. The bites of eggplant and pickled veggies dipped in a creamy peanut sauce were perfectly balanced bombs of flavor. I only regret sharing it--next time, I'm getting one all to myself. The laksa was a large portion--incredibly flavorful with a nice kick of spiciness and perfectly cooked noodles, scallops, and prawns. The wok fried rice noodle was flat out amazing. Little spicy, little sweet, and packed with flavor, sautéed shrimp, and Chinese sausage. All topped off with tender duck confit that fell from the bone like succulent butter. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Visited from Phoenix and was not disappointed! Food was great - especially liked the charred cabbage with Serrano curry. The waygu spring roll was also good. I thought the service was pretty dialed for how new they are and whatever service the bartender missed on, the manager more than overcame with authentic, positive energy. Will be back next time we're in Austin.

Yelp
I can honestly say that this was some of the best southeast Asian food I have ever had. Every single dish was fantastic, full of flavor, and the portions were amazing. Not too big but definitely not tiny like I was expecting after going to Oko. This will definitely be a monthly spot. The waygu spring rolls and the Char Kway Teow are not to be missed - but you can't go wrong with ANYTHING on this gorgeous and inspired menu. Number one meal this year. Thank you Eddie and Billy.

Yelp
So Delicious!!! This spot is such a treat. It's nice to have something exotic to explore here in Austin. Everything we had was so good. The staff was super helpful guiding us through what can be some unfamiliar flavors. And the space was comforting and inviting.
