Sizzler

Let's start with the pros, the food was great and delicious and on two occasions I ordered a steak well done. And another a lobster with steak and fries. They were really tasty. Plus the ice cream aswell. But the cons are the waiting time is long. I'm not trying to bash them, I'm saying in my encounter with the restaurant. So I give it a 4/5

When walking in, it seemed okay, until I had to use the restroom. The restroom was so nasty, I felt like I would catch something in there. I don’t believe they cleaned it since they opened this morning. Second thing was the homeless people walking around getting food from the salad bar and off the tables of people that finished dining. When our food arrived to the table, the baked potato had to be sent back three times because no one paid attention to the actual order with no sour cream. The fish and chips seemed like they were refried from earlier due to the temperature and taste. This is why I stick to where I know the food and service is good. The one in Inglewood and on Manchester are great

I've always liked this Sizzler's. October 3rd I spent my Birthday here like I did a few years ago. I got the salad bar like I always do. As usual the salad bar was just delicious. I love to make nachos with taco meat with lettuce and cheese. I got a plate of fried chicken wings for us all to share. Their fried chicken wings never disappoint. My mom got the streak with potato and shrimp. My sis got the shrimp plate, and my brother got the salad bar. I do wish that their dessert section had more desserts. Sizzler's is still my favorite after all these years (I grew up going to Sizzler's).

Amazing. For sure wanna come back. Brought back so much memories. This place needs to come back to Hawaii. Great food. Great service. So fresh and clean inside. The only thing missing was nacho cheese. But everything on the salad bar was satisfying.

My second sizzler visited in a week to 2 different sizzlers. This one was really nice, clean, and not too busy. We were a big group coming from a funeral, and they made space for us really fast. I like that when you pay with a card and you add the tip right then. They give you the cash in hand for the tip to give to the waitress or waiter, and you can refill your drinks yourself

This is a family restaurant that has been around for over 30 years. Not much has changed. It is a place where you can have a comfortable meal and chat. When it comes to sweet foods, don't trust the menu pictures too much. I think I mostly order the All You can eat Salad Bar.

Ordered the ribeye medium-rare. It was cooked well done. I brought it to the server's attention, she did t say a word, just kinda stared at me up & down. She took my plate and stomped off the kitchen. She came back to my table and said well hopefully you like the way it's cooked this time. 5 minutes later she came with a new ribeye steak and a new baked potato. I knew exactly what was about to happen once I started to cut my steak. It was seared very nice on the outside, both sides as a matter of fact. I began to cut my steak and low and behold, red blood oozed out. The whole steak was dark red, completely uncooked. As rare as can be. I laughed showing my buddy who had ordered the same thing. He asked for medium. And his was cooked medium rare. So even his was wrong. The server didn't came back for at least 15 minutes. Finally she came back and checked on us. My other friend asked for more shrimp. She came back about 10 minutes after with a small plate of shrimp, but no cocktail sauce and no lemon wedges. I flagged her down and asked for more cocktail sauce and a few lemon wedges. She told me I didn't order the shrimp. I agreed and explained that my friend ordered the steak and shrimp but he had left for the restroom. She said well he needs to order it when he gets back. And that I am not supposed to be eating his shrimp. I asked her how do you know I was eating his shrimp? She said I don't know, I am just letting you know you are not supposed to be eating his shrimp. I asked her if she had seen me eating his shrimp and she said no, but you're asking for more cocktail sauce and lemon like if you're eating it. I smiled and said to her politely. I didn't have not one shrimp lady. So I don't know what you're talking about. And one other thing can you please refund me my money for my plate. Thank you. We waited another 15 minutes for my refund. She brought it to the table, and said I don't know how you wanted your streak cooked but we tried 2 times and you seem too picky. I laughed and said have a nice day lady. And we all walked out without leaving any kind of tip for her.

Had d stake and Malibu chicken and it was great the only bas part about it was d cheese bread was cold

Food and services were good! Fast delivery and good for out of town guest. When I called staff was really friendly.

Definitely should have looked at the reviews before we went because holy hell this place is a s-hole. We went bowling and saw that a Sizzler was right across the street. We gave in to nostalgia and decided to go. The food all looked gross. Nothing was fresh at the salad bar. The vegetables (that weren't canned) all looked wilted and clearly past their prime. The beets were a whole level of a different color and I feel sorry for anyone who attempted eating them. The guacamole stayed empty for the entire time we were there, as to trick you to think they had any. My baked potato was dirty. No one bothered to clean it before they overcooked it so I did not eat it. Literally first bite tasted like dirt. My son's burger was bloody (not requested that way) and his plate was covered in meat grease. Then to top it off, the ice cream machine sprayed vanilla ice cream all over my son. Don't know if it was broken or out, but it went all over him and the floor. No wonder they are all almost all gone, it's a complete s-hole.

Just don't go to this location, thank me later. This is the only location where they are so unorganized and confused. Dirty dirty dirty. They allow ANYONE, ( yes even the weirdos) up in here. I'm writing this because this is NOT the first time I had a bad experience. The cashier up front, her name was Briana L. She was so rude to me and my grandfather, No greeting no smile, no eye contact, she even slammed the register after she gave me my change :( The soups, Total joke. Bland, no flavor. No chocolate ice-cream. The water cup they gave me LITERALLY had food stains on the drinking part. They took 30 minutes after we got our food to give us our drinks we paid for. I had to look for a damn waitress to even ask for anything, the place wasn't even busy, how could you mess up that bad? Not just today but everyday? Eh, another place that doesn't care about the job itself. Go to Glendale better. I'm surprised they never closed this place.

Id been planning to go to Sizzler with my youthful ex-co worker. We planned to visit a few months ago. She had the Sizzler Trio which was steak, shrimp & their infamous Malibu chicken. I had the old folk senior salad bar. It's a very large place. We loved all the 80's decor & the liberal use of wood booths, etc. Of course, w/the area, lots of Asian housewives & family groups. The salad bar also has : soup, tacos, 2 kinds of chicken wings, spaghetti & meat balls. The staff are all pleasant & efficient. Oh yeah, almost forgot Dessert: soft serve ice cream in dish or cone We were too full. It was sooo fun dining at such a old- school place is the real hipster spot My niece & I Thank you...

Not a fan of writing reviews for franchise but I really appreciate this location being in Koreatown! I wouldn't say they have the BEST food or the BEST service but sometimes this is just what you need... HAHA We went on a Sunday-- I'd highly recommend you avoid a Sunday HAAHA there will be GROUPS and GROUPS of families with young kids running around, so be careful if you're holding a lot of plates from the salad bar. I think the salad bar is solid - they office Salad and SOME hot food- once again not the best quality but those wings were *chef's kiss* I wouldn't say they are CHEAP either dinner for 3 came out to almost $100.00 Yes, definitely more affordable than most places nowadays with inflation but still not the cheapest. You DO get a LOT of food though. I sometimes crave Sizzler and I don't mind it at all!

This valet guy has the worse attitude and does not have the right to turn customers away. Sizzler corporation should be aware. Sunday 11:00am 6/16.

Oh we had a wonderful afternoon at around 3:30 pm.. my friends and their children, were there for me and my husband..My husband celebrated his birthday there. We had a lot of foods, salmon, barbecued ribs. chicken, soups, spaghetti with unlimited salad and fruits.. We enjoyed and loved all of their foods.. it's worth eating there because everything was good and perfect for a birthday celebration without need for cooking because they have everything you need..and the price was so reasonable..We are glad we brought our friends there.. that was a great get together for all of us..For sure my husband and I will go back to eat there again.. that is one of our favorite restaurants,, just by Vermont corner 4th Street, here in Los Angeles..

Clean, good customer service, clean restrooms and super awesome GM doing all the chores. Harry Singh was super awesome, helpful, humorous and professional.

Been coming here for years, and i was so disappointed in this last time I came. The salad bar isn't filled with much options. There wasn't soup, ice cream, enough utensils, and the bar looked messy. The steak size was so small and bland, along with the baked potato. The main manager wasn't friendly at all, and gave mean attitude to not just me and my family, but I also overheard other customers saying the same. The rest of the staff was very friendly and nice, but the manager wasn't at all. Sad to see the declining food and ambiance.

On the weekends this place is popping. I got steak and unlimited shrimp with a baked potato. Can't complain the food was good. Men's restroom sink was not working. Valet parking on weekends but he could use extra hand.

This server is literally so rude, no saying hi or greet.., just drop my garlic bread & walk away.., no sense of service at all, no saying is everything okcold-attitude, but look at a couple times for no reasons without a smile at all or offer another garlic bread to me, but after I finished my garlic bread.., she literally just grab it off my table rudely while I'm eating like as if she is rushing ... What a bad dining experience, I ain't going to have her as my sever ever again... Cuz this is beyond indefinitely unacceptable & ridiculously rude??!!! Wish her the best future endeavors in looking for another server job??!!! Last night, was the first time I ever got so pissed until I'm reluctant to leave her any gratuity cuz I felt that she don't worth a penny of gratuity at all...

Food was AMAZING . Ambiance was fairly good. Service was astounding. Especially my server Manuel.

Came in for a workday lunch. I was happy that the City cleaned up some of the homeless encampments on 4th Street. It was a veritable cess pool out there for a long time, definitely would make you lose your appetite. The salad bar is back to 100%, but the taco station is not. I miss those crispy chicken wings and the carnitas. I suppose they are making the adjustments they see fit. For me, it's basically not the same salad bar that Anthony Bourdain made famous in his Layover Show. But it's good enough for a delicious and hearty salad and some warming clam chowder or chicken noodle soup. Almost worth the $16 price, almost.

Very high cholesterol junk foods with the price. Golden Corral costs us 38.75 has more choices or Even same price at I-Hope has better options.

This was the worst sizzler experience ever. We sent my steak back 2 times because they couldn't seem to cook it properly. I finally just gave up on my steak and didn't eat it. Non of the food was really good at all. The soups were cold, the salad bar wasn't stocked. The taco bar was out of so much stuff. Look at my pics that I'm going to post. The bathrooms were flooded and super dirty. Quite honestly it was a waste of $62

Came here on December 5 at 11:10 am. My friend and I walked up to the register to place an order to go and the employee who took our order was very rude. He had given the senior in line before us attitude, rushing him out of the line not even allowing him time to grab his cutlery. Because of this I made sure to be patient with him, perhaps he was having a bad day. After ordering the first plate, he says "can you hurry up? You're going too slow" I stood there in shock not knowing what to respond and my friend said "you're being very rude I don't know what your problem is. You rushed the senior out before us and now you're giving attitude to my friend." He said "I have a long line" with 1 party of 4 behind us. The receipt says his name is Aminul I.

The food was ok for the most part for the service part the person that took care of my table was vary rude to us and look like she didn't want to be there at work

I ordered a medium well ribeye with mashed potatoes and a clam chowder with uber eats... what I got was a burnt steak raw in the middle, a baked potato with no toppings and they didn't even bother sending my clam chowder... honestly wasn't worth the $30+ I spent. I really was craving my clam chowder and steak but I'm sitting here with this dry baked potato and half burnt steak the disappointment is real... do better sizzler, after a 14 hour shift with no food this was gonna be my rewards and it left me wishing I had just gotten jack in the box or McDonald's.

Came here for lunch to try out the salad bar by the recommendation of a colleague on a Sunday and was so disappointed! We paid up front and ordered our drinks and went to go grab our plates. I should've asked to look at the bar first before we opted to dine in. There were salad, 3 soup options, mini hot bar, fruits and ice cream. I was most excited for the hot bar but wasn't impressed. There were only chicken nuggets, potato wedges, and nachos. My colleague mentioned there was corn nuggets, spaghetti, and wings and got me excited but they didn't have any of those items. I'm assuming there were more options during pre-pandemic. To top it off, we never received our drinks and were only given one set of silverware for 2 of us. We ended up cancelling our lemonades and just ate a plate and had a little dessert and left bummed. Unfortunately, we won't be back for the salad bar.

Food is always good! Jesse was our server he was great , friendly, respectful and attentive.

I went to eat with my boyfriend... I enjoy coming to this sizzler for the food, but this time the service was awful.. the waitress (I didn't get her name) didn't even greet me when I was sitting on our table while my boyfriend grabbed my drink. When we were both sitting down she only greeted him asked him if he wanted bread, asked him if she could remove the plates and gave me her back the entire time.. VERY VERY RUDE.. she had black with pink hair. If she does this to every couple.. then it sucks she is representing this restaurant I considered the best in costumer service as I come here very often.. changed my mind completely after her awful service.

Came here for a funeral reception out of respect. If I am ever offered a chance to go to ANY sizzler location, my response will now be "fuck no". I got incredibly sick just from one bite. Legacy names like this need to be shut down forever! Damn boomers holding on to ancient relic remnants.

Miss this place. We had to visit since Hawaii no longer had one. Great food and very fresh. Only thing missing was nacho cheese for the chips. But beside that. This is a place I will go again.

Sizzler has weathered the American health food kick by focusing on their salad bar. It has become a working class feeding frenzy. Sizzler had been overlooked and neglected and left behind by this country for a long time before Bourdain brought it back to life. Sizzler's Salad bar fulfills a universal deep need; Americans' schizophrenic desire to eat healthier while consuming a prodigious amount of food. For those on a budget, Sizzler has long offered plenty of low quality steak and shrimp, a cost-effective alternative to Fleming's, Ruth's Chris, and Mastro's. If you look up from your plate, prepare to see gluttons coming out of the woodwork to consume as many trips to the salad bar as possible. The Sizzler crowd doesn't want much from life, other than a limitless supply of food, and ready access to air-conditioning. For such a person, only one form of food service will do, a buffet, and only a buffet; these are apex predators, feasting on the summit of self-service dining. If you must dine here, try to avoid the embarrassment of overloaded plates and unsightly stains on your shirt. Of course you can always show up for dinner at 4pm (Early Bird) since the clientele are generally octogenarians with cataracts and/or dementia, then you can really let yourself go, away from prying eyes. Pictures looked absolutely nothing like the food. My "garlic" mashed potatoes had no garlic in it and it was instant mashed potatoes. The extra mushrooms And onions I paid extra for did not add anything to the dish but a bunch of blandness. The steak was edible at least?

2 stars for the salad bar only. I have a feeling I would have had a better experience ordering a steak and/or shrimp. I honestly don't know if I'd ever go to the salad bar again. Watching people lick their hand and then touch the tongs, made me lose my appetite. Waitress was attentive, not overly friendly but she definitely checked on me multiple times, which is nice. Food wise it was average at best. And just for a fun fact, I went to a bar right after and barely made it to the bathroom when arriving bc my stomach was super upset. I'm almost positive it was the food I just ate, but of course, can't be totally sure.

The Manager Irene is the best and makes me laugh and knows how to do her job.. Nicole is a great.server who interacts with customers and smiles. Alexandra is a great waitress and and polite and makes her.job fun All great ladies

Hi, I went to Moreno Valley SIZZLER again today. I was greeted by Jesus & Brenda, Manuel was my server, had my favorite the 6oz. sirloin steak, baked potatoe and side salad. I inadvertently interrupted a meeting the managers were having but I did get to meet the new transfer in manager Eileen, she, Ramon and Jesus were very polite and courteous even though I interrupted but I was leaving and wanted to tell them buy and thank them for there location's food as I always enjoy coming there, I like feeling comfortable going there. They all and the whole staff is Awesome. Is was a pleasure meeting Eileen and talking with Jesus & Ramon. Thank you all again for the most delicious food. My favorite restaurant in Moreno Valley. My server Manuel was very tentative and I really appreciate when the customer(s) me in this case, get the server's attention for any of our needs.

Araseli was a fabulous server that was always attendant and provided amazing service during our stay. We had constant refreshments when needed and it was great being here. We definitely enjoyed our visit and hope to come again!

I can't believe I have never been to Sizzler because I remember watching their commercials growing up. Anyway, this location is near work and my co-worker was treating me for my birthday. We went on a Friday afternoon so there were no crowds. We loved our meals and the waitress was excellent. I practically gobbled up the Steak and Shrimp Skewers. The steak was a perfect medium rare and the shrimp was tasty. I ordered the steamed veggies instead of potatoes. My friend ordered the Tri-tip from the senior menu. We were both very full so did not get any salad or ice cream. Our waitress was very attentive and kept on stopping by with more napkins. So my first experience was great. Oh, I was too busy to notice but the ambiance was as expected, tables were fine.

The food tastes pretty tasty and delicious, the workers were very nice and kept asking me if everything was okay.

Please don't waste your time ordering pick up.... . Go somewhere else. Always a disappointment. Buffet might still be ok. Haven't dined in since covid, but dine in is open now

I ordered from this location through Postmates and was so disappointed. I usually order the 6oz steak from the Western location, but this time I accidentally ordered from the Vermont location. BIG NO! I got a strip of bone and lard. I said no barbecue sauce and they gave a huge barbecue sauce countainer. Guess where is all went... the trash! Along with me ever ordering from this location again.

Whoa, hold the mustard is this place for reals? Hands down the best Sizzler in the LA area, that I know of. This place not only still has an ice cream station but they actually have more than just one topping, try several! Not only that but the carnitas were superb, a little dry, but not super salty like most other places. Not to mention the server who was extremely attentive. Oh did I mention they had their own soda machine so you can just go get your own soda. AND ICED COFFEE!!! Needless to say if you are in the area you need to go to this Sizzlers and support!! S.O.S SAVE OUR SIZZLERS!!!! Go, what are you waiting for GO NOW!!!

This chain eatery has steaks and some seafood prepared by flame broiling. Their salad bar is very good, with soups as well as cold foods made in a plain American style. The portions are large enough to be very filling. The steaks are good quality. You can't go wrong here. The service is fast and efficient. No alcohol. It's not spectacular, but it is good and solid. I recommend it for groups and casual dining.

This restaurant is near our new apartment, so we ordered food for pick up for Father's Day. The food was delicious and ready for pick up when we arrived. Thank you Sizzler!

This place is pretty decent and one of the last few Sizzlers around. Come for the food and see the view of the Wall of Bikes. Lol how is this legal Have a bite to eat and get your bike fixed at the same time, smh

I ordered steak with mushrooms on top & medium well. I paid $2.69 for the toppings & when opened it there's no toppings & well done. The edge of the steak is burn. I keep calling them & leave my name & phone number but no calls from them.

Two times that I do pick up order, I ask for meat to be done (medium) but they do it well done, so much for a steak house! Look at the potato!!

The chicken wings are so good . Definitely ordering again. Also vey fast delivery. Very happy

Food is very dry and the salad bar food does not taste fresh. Steak was decent, shrimp was very greasy and tasted like frozen shrimp you cook in the oven. We spent over 100 bucks for two plates and four salad bar options on a weekend. Definitely not worth the price. I would recommend just paying for a plate. Make sure you ask if they charge extra for toppings on your plates. We weren't told onions and mushrooms were extra, and paid 10 extra dollars just for that.

We were craving surf & turf, wanted to do a date night, and didn't want to cook. We decided to order the steak & lobster here, medium rare, with a side of mashed butter potato / baked potato. It arrived within 40 minutes. We paid about $50 with tips - please support your delivery guys! The food came packed perfectly with a slice of cheddar toast each, butter for the lobster (was still attached to the shell but nicely displayed), with butter, sauce for the steaks and sour cream for the baked potato. Steak was perfectly cooked medium rare, and tasted great with the bbq sauce that came with it. Portions were perfect for what we were looking for. Not a 5 star gourmet experience, but we appreciated this meal as a change up during this quarantine.

Went here during lunch time last week while just observing a training. The parking lot seemed packed when we got there, but they offer free valet service for your convenience. Still kind of weirded me out that they had this since this is the first Sizzler I know of that offers it. When you walk inside and line up to order you past a large scale version of the menu. I usually just pick the salad bar when coming here since it allows you access to some hot items, such as soups and pasta, and also the dessert selections as well. But they also have set entrees you can select from the menu too that include steak and lobster. The salad bar has various greens, toppings and dressing you could add on as well as options for some soup and cold sides, such as Cole slaw and pasta. The other station with hot items had fixings to make a taco as to make spaghetti. You have unlimited access to either as well as to the dessert station. This time around, I ended up just making a salad and then helping myself to some ice cream to end my meal.

The customer service of this place it's fantastic, everything time I go here I feel so happy it brings me memories since I was been coming to this place for quite a time 7years + love it here

Salad bar is open. Ok, does Sizzlers deserve 5 stars, probably not but it's the salad bar damn it. Almost everything is back, grab your tongs and help yourself to everything you remembered liking about it - the chopped hard boiled eggs, the diced red beets, the ham bits, the potato salad with alot of dill, the melons and the clammy clam chowder. But here's where things got a little different. Gone is the spaghetti and taco bar which means no more dried out carnitas, ground beef and weird meatballs. Instead it's chili which was pretty damn good for a buffet, pot roast that was surprisingly moist, mojo potatoes, delicious corn bread that wasn't dry and hard and mono potatoes. The only thing mediocre was the tiny corn dogs. Price was around 13 something total. Yea, I was pretty happy!

I didn't know Sizzler was a real thing, I only saw it in old movies so when I saw it on doordash I was so excited. Definitely just a place to order to say you've "been there". The steak AND the lobster tail were so hard to chew but I have dogs and they loved it. The veggies were good, they were still a little crunchy and I like that because of the nutrients. The mushrooms were yummmmy and the toast was only toasted on one side and a little soggy when I got it. They should probably toast the other side for better travel power. All in all...I'd try it again but not order steak or lobster tail

Sizzler in Ontario is an excellent place to eat. Our servers Scarlett and Freddie were friendly and were very attentive to our needs. They were both awesome. Come to Sizzler for great food and great service.
