I rarely give 5* and this place definitely deserves one. Some of the best seafood I have ever had. Visited this place for a team dinner and it just blew me away. The hospitality was great and the servings were nice and big for all of us to be full. a definite must visit if you are a seafood lover. The pricing is on the high end , but i guess that is anticipated when you want this quality with such nice ambience.

This was among the list of recommended restaurants our hotel gave me. The walk to the restaurant from hotel was beautiful. The dinner started good with great service from our server. However as the restaurant got busier, she barely checked our table and by the time we called for bill she had no smile on her face anymore. The disappointment started with the food: the king crab legs were so skinny and meat was so little… is it because it’s summer that the crabs lost so much weight? I didn’t quite like the way they cooked the king crabs and lobsters but the shrimp was good. The ultimate shock came as the bill was over $600 for a seafood platter and grilled catch of day fish! After tipping our dinner costed over $700. That was some Michelin 3 star restaurant price, but not equivalent level of food nor service. Totally tourist trap that you should stay away if you don’t want to end up feeling so bad afterwards.

The ambiance of the restaurant is appealing. Simple and stylish, with attention to details. Friendly staff, especially the head waiter from Albania. Kuddos! Simple menu, which is great. Wide selection of wines. The food was delicious, and every bite was worth it. The portions were quite large.

First of all I have to thank Fatos for his amazing hospitality and service, his recommendations and his explanations of each and every dish. The selection of place came after we searched for a not touristic quality restaurant to have a special event dinner. Highly recommended.

Husband booked this restaurant for my birthday dinner. We chose the scallops and the six course meal. I don’t know where to begin. The service was top notch. And every single dish was beyond amazing. I’ve tried alot of food around and I must say that this meal, was one of the best foods I’ve ever had in my life. A definite must-try when you’re in Oslo.

Tasty seafood dishes. The pan-fried catfish comes with amazing shellfish sauce. Literally one of the best sauce I ever tasted in my life. Celery root espuma has very nice crab rillette in it. Fast service relative to other restaurants in the world with course menu. Restaurant is located right next to water, which is beautiful spot.

This is a lovely restaurant conveniently located opposite The Thief Hotel in Oslo. I have been here a couple of times now and highly recommend the food. The mussels are simply divine, soup made with some cream giving it a delicious density. This with a nice glass of Chablis just perfect. The sofa seats are especially so comfortable. The staff are wonderful as with the service. Amanda you have been an absolute delight making my visits just so worth while. I shall always come back. All the staff are just so attentive. I shall be leaving Oslo again with sadness but can’t wait to book my next return visit! Big hugs to all appreciating your awesome friendliness. Shan

Very good food. My favorite was the scallops. Main dish was very good too. The chefs really know their craft. Been invited to a party here but I will surely come back.
