I can say "What a surprise" - now one of my new favorite places. Was there with a friend who is a long time friend of one of the owners. He chatted us up, took care of us and we feasted! Great food, service and the humus is amazing. The Cauliflower, fried, spicey, perfect. Everything wonderful.

Excellent food. I was the only customer in the place not of Middle Eastern descent. For me, thats an excellent sign that the food is very good. I got the combo with chicken, beef, and kafta kabobs. All were very good. Tender meat that tastes fresh. Cooked just right. Chicken and beef were very juicy. Beef was not fatty. The hummus was a little heavy on the tahini flavor for me. I've been here several times through the years and I've never been disappointed. Storefront place with indoor seating only. Parking lot is pretty small, so I can see parking being difficult during busy times of day.

The food was scrumptious, the atmosphere familiar and relaxed, and the service just right. I had the Kibbeh Labanieh - I have never tried it or anything quite like it before, and I was not disappointed - the produced-in-house yogurt had a wonderful flavor and texture and the kibbeh balls were quite good - a cross of comfort food and complex spicing. My friend had the kafta kabobs and was kind enough to share with me - we spent some time discussing and trying to determine how they managed to keep the meat so juicy in what is often a fairly dry kabob variety at other restaurants. Just excellent - it was the best instance of kafta I have ever eaten. I think my favorite item was the hummus - it was rich and creamy with a generous amount of sesame tahini and an overall delightful flavor. I plan to go back whenever I have reason to be in that area of LA - everything was excellent.

This place serves the best chicken shawarma I’ve ever had. The chicken is perfectly marinated, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Wrapped in warm pita with just the right sauces authentic, satisfying, and always fresh. Highly recommended!

Nice simple place in a corner strip mall, easily overlooked but don't. I had a few appetizers but the whole grill smells and looks delicious. I'll be back for more

The food of the Gods! I've been going to to Scaf's forever and the consistency is spot on. My husband gets the vegetarian platter, I usually get the chicken. We always finish with the coffee and Maamoul. Excellent.

Local family Resturant . Small place Food is great and reasonable priced . I always get tge chicken kebab with tabouli salad but all their food is good. I also order falafel’s wraps for a quick high protein meal to go.

What a bang for a buck this place is! I done good coming mid-afternoon because apparently this place gets packed for lunch and dinner. Nothing special about the ambience, the place is located in a strip mall, but they've got some dank food cooking in there. The hummus and pita were delicious. When they mentioned the cabbage side salad, I was unenthused, but delightfully surprised at how flavorful and refreshing it was. If you go here I 100% recommend the Beef Shawarma! It was fantastic, really good meat accompanied by a great sauce. I was underwhelmed by the rice but I guess rice itself can be underwhelming. I got speedy and friendly service, the meal was very reasonably priced, and the food is good. Go here!

From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming service made us feel right at home. This restaurant is a true gem for Mediterranean and Lebanese cuisine lovers. The pita and hummus were hands-down the best we've ever had--fresh, fluffy, and full of flavor. The chicken shawarma was absolute perfection: tender, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The lemon garlic salad was bright, zesty, and packed with flavor--such a great complement to the rest of the meal. Portions are very generous--definitely enough to share, though you might not want to once you taste it all! We ended the meal with their delicious baklava, which was the perfect sweet finish--crispy, nutty, and not overly sweet. If you're craving authentic Mediterranean flavors with top-notch service, this place is a must

Skafs is one of the best spots for Kebab. I've been ordering from here for over 10-15 years and the flavor is unmatched!!! I usually order a combo Kebab plate which is enough for two people or a chicken plate, but today I ordered the Branzino and the flavor did not disappoint. I called in the order on my way home from work and it was ready in 20min. The owner was there with a friendly face. His helper and the cook were also very nice and friendly. They have tables inside that sit up to 6 people so it's a great place for family meals. Skafs is a staple in North Hollywood that offers delicious food, and consistent great service.

I've been coming here for about 20 years and owner Salim and the crew are like family. One of the best Lebanese food spots in LA and their Chicken Shawarma and their hummus are simply unreal! The chicken shawarma, so well-marinated, super juicy, makes your taste buds dance like there is no tomorrow. In addition, the hummus is the G.O.A.T of the town- so creamy, so fresh, so good and no wonder it was named the best hummus by the Los Angeles Magazine. If getting a plate, it's normally accompanied by tasty rice, freshly grilled pita and their awesome cabbage salad which fools you into thinking that you're a healthy eater). All in all, phenomenal food, awesome customer service by Salim and his crew, who truly care and make you feel like family. The place itself is cozy, with quite a few tables for dining in. Oh, and try their Lebanese coffee, it's very delicious, strong and will hold you up through the day!

The flavor was exquisite and everything was on point. The meat was tender and juicy. I had the kebab and the flavor for that was yum. The humus was not too oily nor was it bland. You could definitely tell they made that humus that day. Additionally it was too grainy like other places. The service was quick. The only thing that sucks is parking. Definitely sucks because it is in a small plaza and street parking is hard to find at times. Came here randomly and worth coming back!

Skafs grill has the best bbq in town. Food is amazing. Service is top notch. I love this place and highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for great bbq

Great food, service and ambiance! The lamb was a little tough but the flavor was delicious! The pita bread was made to PERFECTION! So yummy!! Great customer service as well. Plenty of parking and in the same mini plaza as 7 eleven. I will definitely be back! Great place to eat in the heart of NOHO!

Man what can I say this place is so freaking good! I dream about their hummus lol! Just go they will welcome you like your part of the family and feed you till you can't breathe it's awesome! I take all my friends and coworkers here no one has not liked it everyone raves about it! Get the Romain salad with chicken shawarma on it and use the hummus and garlic sauce in each bite good lord it will ruin you for other Lebanese food bahahahahaha but seriously.

Everything here is delicious. Sometimes I literally just pop in to grab some of their fresh hummus because the grocery store stuff just doesn't compare. The owner and everyone who works here are kind and clearly care about the food. I love eating here. Skaf's is a gem!

All good on my first time ordering from these guys ! Order was correct and included silverware and it was delivered within the time frame stated - Bravo ! I went with the recommended combination plate which had a LOT of food ! 3 skewers of meat, plenty of rice, hummus , and cabbage salad w turnips . Everything tasted great !

I've been here a few times and the taste never disappoints! Our favorites are the kibbeh balls with garlic spread, tabbouleh, baba ghannouj, hummus and the shish kebabs - but all the kebabs are delicious too! Service here is always attentive and friendly.

Ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and a side of fries. When I first got it, the pita bread was kind of cold so I asked them to warm up it more. Once I took a bite, wow amazingly delicious. Fries are restaurant made so tasted scrumptious. The garlic is spectacular

I came into the restaurant for a takeout order and placed an order for two chicken skewers, rice and hummus. After waiting for 35 minutes I finally got my food and then they told me that they only had put in for one chicken skewer. They made no attempt to fix anything or do anything to apologize. Stared at me and JZ fed me the bag. Also one skewer with rice and hummus was $27. Never again.

The place closes at 8 pm, not 9 pm I was there after 8 and Pablo hooked me up with hummus and pita bread that hummus was divine!! I've been to their Glendale location in the past and the food was always on point. Thanks Pablo!

Absolutely my new favorite place in the Valley for Lebanese cuisine. Moved into the neighborhood recently and got the vip treatment from the owner, Salim. He recommended I try the combo plate which was a LOT of food but for to try the kafta, chicken and shish kebabs. The cabbage salad was delicious as well as I believe they have the BEST HUMMUS I have ever eaten. Salim topped off this final by making me a free Turkish coffee which was tremendous! I was wired the rest of the day, And FULL!!! I give them a 10/10!

Small family owned restaurant in a micro plaza in noho. Parking is nearly non existent but if you wait around a spot will come up. Service was incredible here. The owner? Or manager was kind and friendly and super generous letting us sample a few items while we waited for our meal. The portions were really generous and the cabbage salad was so well seasoned and flavorful as a side I really enjoyed my meal here and ordered take out several times since! Would recommend for those looking for Mediterranean food in the area

Wow the potatoes tonight were perfect and evenly spiced. The 3 meat combo plate was excellent also. What I really like about this place also is I have ordered over 25 times and their food never disappoints. The location in Glendale is amazing also.

This place is the best!!!!!! The food and meat is high quality. I love the chicken shawarma...it's so tasty and has a perfect crispy-ness to it. The hummus is the best I've ever had. The garlic and tahini sauce is sooooo good. The owner is always there and he's such a sweet guy! He's even given us free hummus before. Don't sleep on this place! It's a hidden gem with authentic Lebanese food.

Been exploring different Mediterranean/Middle Eastern spots around my neighborhood. I was at Trader Joes shopping for groceries and decided to try this place for lunch. Called the place right before I went into TJ and placed my order. Coming from the Trader Joe's side, you have to make a U turn into the parking lot. But found parking quickly and was able to pick up my food. The restaurant is small but charming. There were a few patrons there dining in. I went up to the counter and paid for my food. The man helping me was very nice and friendly. Got two chicken shawarma wraps, the cabbage salad and an order of fries. My husband asked for a salad and the Yelp page had highlighted the cabbage salad, so I figured we'd try it. The large salad was pretty big, so I'd probably go with the small in the future. It's also more of a coleslaw/side than a salad, but it was tasty nonetheless. The wraps were delicious, juicy and messy! Mine fell apart as I ate it, but my husband was smart and kept the foil on his. The fries were fatter and cut thickly, more like potato wedges but were good. My only gripe is that the pickled veggies that came with this weren't quite pickled. Other than that, food was good. Would come back to try some of the other items.

Came in the other day due to the sushi place next door being too long of a wait. Great decision to come in! Friendly customer service from the family who owns this place. Food was quick enough. Everything was delicious. Very flavorful & filling. Highly recommend for a good meal. I know my family and I will be returning.

So far my favorite Lebanese restaurant . Every plate and salad is freshly made when order . They the cabbage salad with pita chips. Arayas are delicious !

We heard about this place, so we decided to take a drive from Simi Valley. It did not disappoint. The freshness and quality of their food is amazing not to mention the flavors and the customer service. We had the fry Branzino plate and Lamb with chicken kabobs. We felt that we were eating at a friend's house with the kind of service to their customers. We will definitely be driving back. If you like good quality and fresh Mediterranean food, go and check them out.

We came here in search of the best shawarma in LA. TL:DR this place isn't it. So we love some good shawarma and given the demographics in Southern California, you've got some decent options for shawarma. After hearing about this place, we thought we'd make the trek to check it out. The good part was that the sauces were on point. Their baba ganoush, hummus, and garlic sauce were VERY good. This is Lebanese hummus, meaning there is less tahini, which we prefer. And the fries were salty, had a good crisp and cooked well. However, the rest was disappointing. The chicken kabob was dry. The chicken shawarma was also dry and lacked flavor. The fried cauliflower was bland and greasy. The rice was bland. The pickles were not seasoned and they didn't have the pickled cucumber you sometimes see in Lebanese cooking. This place was fine but if you have good options nearby, don't recommend the trek out here.

2nd time trying this place and I still do not see the allure. Dry kebab, unsalty rice. I've had better Middle Eastern food for cheaper in the valley.

I had the Shish Tawook combo. Everything was really good. Excellent customer service. The guy who served me my food (I'm guessing he's the owner as he conversed with several customers) checked in with me throughout my meal. It was my first time there and I had questions. Skaf's will be a part of my restaurant rotation.

I got the Beef shawarma with french fries and added a small side of garlic sauce cuz I'm addicted to. I'm a junkie for garlic sauce. I'm a garlic sauce junkie. That's what I'm saying. Anyways, the plate started with delivery of hummus and a cabbage and tomato salad with a lemon salad dressing and this pita bread that I thought was freshly made but it's just delivered daily fresh and then they reheat it for you on every order they could have ended my meal right there. It was perfect. Those three things that hummus top hummus I've had here in Los Angeles that's salad. It's just amazing, refreshing, delicious and the pita bread. Very fresh. Delicious! Anyways, I just munched on that for a while and then my shawarma came delicious. Beef shawarma came with tahini and I added the garlic sauce. Really the tahini is for the shawarma and then I dip my french fries and the garlic sauce. That's what I'm doing here but also dip some shawarma and some garlic sauce. I love this place. I'll be back here again. Extremely friendly service. Quick service, great location. Great parking good ambiance I wish I was hungrier. Next time I need to come more hungry so I can get Lebanese coffee and baklava for dessert.

Skaf's is a 10/10 without any doubt. The food is fresh, full of favor, and authentic. The service is outstanding with some of the friendliest hosts you'll come across. Came during lunch time and the atmosphere was very inviting. Give them a try next time you're in the area! You'll be happy you did

Staff's has very good food, in face all 4 of my stars are for the food. However, the location and atmosphere are absolutely awful. Parking is awful if not impossible. The service isn't great. This place would to great if they moved to a location with better access and parking. NOTE TO PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS: * Order deliver through an app (I.e, DoorDash, etc.) * Order pick up if you live nearby. * Parking is very difficult. * Location has difficult a ces on busy street corner.

Crispy and flavorful falafel, creamy humus, slightly tangy babaghanoush, and an excellent chicken shawarma topped with garlic sauce. Even the side cabbage salad was excellent! If I was being picky, I'd say that I usually prefer a little more smokiness and roasted flavor in my babaghanoush, but I still really enjoyed Skaf's. This is a family run spot and you really do feel the love from the staff. Friendly, good food, at good prices. This place is great.
