Amazing. Incredible selection of textures, temperatures and tastes. The 16 course that we went for is a real journey. Staff were fantastic, as you would expect from Michelin star fine dining. My wife has particular tastes which Skof were happy to work around in the menu. These were not allergies, just indulgences but were accommodated without fuss. Table bill for two x 16 course menu, 2 x no alcohol drinks flight, 2 x glass of wine was £500. Loved every minute of the 3.5 hours we were there.

AMAZING! Wow- what a meal we had at Skof. Every dish- perfection. The staff were amazing, the place itself is stunning and the wine was gorgeous. Really hard to pick a favourite from so many dishes but the lobster roll, miso custard and the Manchester honey dishes were all at the top! Perfect wedding anniversary treat and one of the greatest culinary experiences of my life. 10/10- thank you team Skof

Outrageously good. It’s worth spending the extra on the wine pairing and if you fancy, a cocktail or four. The service was maybe the best I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant of this standard. Incredibly welcoming and friendly. We were invited to the chefs pass to watch Tom cook what he described as “mushroom custard”. It was amazing. Cant recommend this place enough. Have already added my name to the weighting list for seconds. Speaking of seconds - we got double tirimissu. I wish I had more photos, but it was to much fun.

Skof does not need my review. What a phenomenal dining experience. The dishes were superb from a supremely talented chef. The waiting staff were all friendly and knowledgeable without exception. The atmosphere is open and relaxed, yet intimate and private. I wish this was the kind of place I could afford to eat at regularly. Well worth the scramble for a table, you will not be disappointed. Thank you to the team for making it an amazing night.

Visited here for lunch on Saturday for my partner's birthday. I'd tried to get a reservation in June and there was no availability, I opted to go on the waiting list. Forgot all about it and then two days before got a call that there was availability I was delighted. We opted for the first tasting menu which was £120pp. Usually on a tasting menu there's the odd thing that isn't for me but this whole menu was incredible it was hard to choose a favourite. The miso custard was so unique and packed full of flavour, genuinely one of the best things we have tasted. The brioche loaf that came with the broth was also amazing. But again no favourite it was all so so good. All of the staff where so attentive and it was a lovely touch being able to sit at the pass to have the scallop course and chat to Tom. Thank you for the lovely personal touch too with the birthday card for my partner. We will definetly be back for the full tasting menu if we are lucky enough to get another reservation.

Mid. Hit: It was my first experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant, so let’s start with the positives. The service was great, the ambience spot on, and the starters were excellent. I’ve never experienced so many layers of flavour before - each one-bite dish was beautifully executed and genuinely stimulated the appetite. I was really excited for what was to come next. Miss: Unfortunately, it went downhill after the starters (with the exception of the scallop and miso custard - these were perfect, in my opinion). I’ve seen a lot of praise for the lobster on sourdough, but I’d have to disagree. Personally, I could barely taste the lobster; its delicate flavour and texture were overshadowed by the sourdough and pork fat. Then came the cod. It was a delicious dish in terms of taste, but 2 out of the 4 portions served at our table contained not just one, but multiple bones. The waiter did offer a complimentary soft pairing as an apology, which we really appreciated. Desserts, unfortunately, weren’t to my taste. I was especially looking forward to the tiramisu, but it lacked balance and was completely overpowered by what I believe was rum. Overall: For the price and the Michelin star, I had very high expectations going in. Some elements were special but the overall experience fell short for me. Still, glad I got to try it but not sure I’d be back.

Four of us visited Skof on a Saturday evening for dinner service, this was me and my wife’s first experience of Michelin Star food and we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. As my wife has an intolerance to garlic this was noted when we booked and my friend who booked for us had a number of calls with Skof who wanted to make sure they understood this and make sure that she was catered for. We stared with a cocktail from the menu and chose the 16 course menu with 2 of us opting for one of the wine pairing menus and the 2 others going for the low alcohol option. When the food started to come it was as amazing and described to us and also the server pointed out what they had done differently for my wife to cater for her. The food was truly amazing with so many amazing dishes but for me the seafood dishes throughout were the stand out with the Scallop, Langoustine and cod being the top dishes for me. The fact we were brought up to the counter for one of the courses was fantastic and gave us a close up of what goes on in the kitchen. Our table was booked for 6:30 and we didn’t leave until 10pm, time just flew as we were taken through each course. This was a meal I will never forget made all the better by the staff who were fantastic.

Brilliant. The set miso custard with chicken of the woods mushrooms and truffle is one the best things I've ever eaten. The confit chicken wing and the cod were also really special. We had one of the wine pairings, and the sommelier was particularly brilliant. He was very knowledgeable and wonderfully friendly. It's a special restaurant.
