Skull Mechanix Brewing

Relaxed place to grab a beer, while the metal music rolls (not too loudly) in the background. Completely different vibe than the other nearby south Austin breweries. Drinkable lineup of mainstream beer styles, although nothing unique yet vs those nearby. Helpful staff. Solid entrant to the local beer scene.

Great place for LIVE MUSIC and the house music in between bands was good too! Craft beer! Awesome art everywhere as well by a local tattoo artist!

My favorite brewery in Austin. Traditional style beers, that are true to the roots of beer. They make the best English pale ale in Texas (the Holmes). They do crowlers but not growlers. Art work is dope, I can stare at it for hours. Sometimes they’ll have the Texans football game on, which is even better since I’m a Texans fan. Music is always awesome (punk on the stereo, local bands on the stage). I just hope and pray one day these guys will collaborate with Hogshead in Denver because I would literally be in heaven. Great place to grab a beer! I came here recently for a work function & had a wonderful time. The staff are very helpful with recommending beers when you're indecisive & will let you sample them first to test them out. Definitely check this place out!

We celebrated my wife's Birthday here. The beer was amazing, the location is very convenient to get to, the staff was super nice and the owner accomadated our party and was extremely cool! We have a new favorite spot! Did I mention the beer was amazing.

Love this place! Brews of every style to please everyone! Took a Gully Cat crowler home with us. Wish I lived in South Austin. Would visit much more often.
