12 Gloriously Gooey Grilled Cheese Sandwiches to Eat Around Dallas

"Though known for their cheesy, stacked burgers, this spot knows what to do with some bread and cheese. Their grilled cheese is griddled on the flat top and is simply made with sourdough bread and cheddar cheese." - Rachel Pinn

A North Dallas Cult Favorite Brings Towering Triple Burgers to Deep Ellum This Summer - Eater Dallas

"Sky Rocket Burger, a North Dallas burger joint that’s earned a cult following, has plans to expand to a second location in June. The restaurant announced that its forthcoming Deep Ellum outpost will open at 111 North Hall Street, in the space recently vacated by ice cream shop Wild About Harry’s, this summer. Owners Scott and Tio Wagner opened the original Sky Rocket Burger on Frankford Road in North Dallas in 2017. Amin Talebi and his partners, who have other investments in Deep Ellum including Stirr and Vidorra, approached Sky Rocket about the potential for a new location. Owning a stake in those other two establishments “has a lot to do with why we chose Deep Ellum,” Talebi tells Eater. “Also, lots of new developments are popping up there, making it look promising for the future.” For the unfamiliar, Sky Rocket Burger is a pretty simple burger-and-fries operation, with a menu that offers single, double or triple burgers that range from around $5 to around $10 depending on whether they’re topped with cheese. A three-cheese grilled cheese features Parmesan, American and cheddar. Fries, tots and cheese fries round out the offerings. Talebi’s convinced that Sky Rocket is a solid fit for Deep Ellum because it delivers a truly superior burger. “The difference in our burger when compared to competition is that we use all fresh ingredients, from the daily ground 100% Angus beef to the fresh lettuce we put on the burgers,” he says. Talebi also credited the spot’s beloved “Secret Sauce” for much of its success. Sky Rocket Burger is set to debut in Deep Ellum on June 1." - Rachel Pinn

It's not what you think when you get there is totally different free to the end. The burgers are okay. The fries are amazing. I would really suggest anyone who loves good food to go here. The fries will make you feel good if you are coming from out of town and you just trying to get a quick meal this is it don't go to McDonald's Burger King got nothing like that

Google
Great Burger, I ordered at the kiosk. My order was exactly as I wanted, the tater tots were cooked well, hot and tasty. I WOULD SUGGEST, the spot and will be back. My only concern would be the tea wasn't sweet and tasted water down from added ICE. The server was polite and very customer friendly.

It has been a while since I've done a review, and that is because lately, customer service JUST SUSKS. People have been raving about this little bitty hole in the wall burger joint in Deep Ellum Dallas, Texas. I get here right when it opens at 11:00, and I'm glad that I did because it got really full really fast in just 20 minutes! I wanted to know if the rumors were true and let me tell you they are. I ordered a single burger with cheese. Side note, any burger with a fried egg just hits different. The burger was so fresh and so light. I'm kind of mad that I didn't get a double or triple. It was that delicious. The fries were seasoned to perfection. As I walk to the counter, Bo assures me that everything is cooked FRESH TO ORDER. He didn't disappoint. I guarantee you I will be back multiple times.

Google
I love it here foods so good!!! :) service are really noice and clean. ALSO love the wall of names. When we were ordering there was a homeless outside that came in and went to the drink fountain thing and got like coke for free and one of the workers were gonna tell him to get out but he didn’t (homeless thought he was slick)😂

Google
I ordered a single skyrocket Burger. I didn't really taste the secret sauce but more so tasted the mayonnaise. However, the sesame bun was super soft and complimented the beef burger well. My rating for the burger is a 3.8/5. I ordered regular fries and they had no seasoning. However, they were fresh and made to order. Will be back.

Google
A Solid Fast Food Spot for an Old-Fashioned Burger If you’re looking for a no-frills, classic burger, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is simple, but the focus here is clearly on delivering a quality burger. While it’s a bit on the pricey side, I’d rather spend $10 on one of these burgers than at a larger fast-food joint where prices are now almost the same. I didn’t try anything else on the menu, just had a cup of water with their “Sonic ice,” which hit the spot. The burger was satisfying enough to leave me plenty full.

Google
Updated.... they used season last night.... but $25 for burgers only and lettuce burgers at that.... VERY OVERPRICED... When I tell you I went yesterday and got a well seasoned bacon cheese lettuce burger and told all my family 10k followers and everything ALL AFRICAN AMERICAN STAFF. Even my burger was wrap nice too... Today I went back different staff, they gave me a real burger instead of a lettuce one.. Me and my son went over the menu 3 times before he got out the car only for her to not hear him say I wanted bacon then the fries were old.... then I had to go in and get bacon and they gave me the oldest bacon ... my burger yesterday was fresh and well put together this burger today looked like a beginner a kid played with it and I spent $11 plus yesterday and $20 today and the burger not even seasoned... like why can't everybody be on the same page... IM ABOUT TO LEARN HOW TO MAKE MY BURGERS AT HOME

Google
It was the best burger I have ever had and its not even close. The cheese was great and the meat was amazing and the secret sauce was perfect. The sauce is the best special sauce I have ever had. The fries were good and even if they were not I still would have loved dipping them in the sauce because it made anything that touched it a 10/10. The only bad parts was the cashier was interesting and reluctant to give us a water cup for free and part of the restaurant smelled really bad.

Yelp
Ok, this burger was DELICIOUS! The sesame bun, perfectly toasted! The meat is fresh and seasoned just right. The spot was comfortable, nice searing and view. The Blue Bell vanilla shake - perfect Fries - amazing, fresh and flavorful. This was the best burger I have had in long time. Service was great the lady at the counter was sweet and friendly. Will definitely come back for more!! Oh and the special sauce is a must have. Can't wait to try the Rocket fries next time. Thanks for being top notch.

Yelp
Come hungry! This was probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. I got a double with American cheese and bacon! The Rocket fries were not my favorite as they are too soft and maybe too loaded (If that's a thing). I'm a big fan of five guys and this is similar in the sense of ingredients but 5x better! The bun and crispy edges of the patty are something special.
google avatar

Yelp
The burgers are a beautiful, sloppy, delicious mess! It's a very casual, laid back setting. It's not the cleanest but who cares when the burgers are so good. The fries are good too! They're not lacking flavor. My daughter always goes for the grilled cheese sandwich. She never finishes it so I do ;) It's also yummy. This restaurant is located in Deep Ellum so parking could be an issue on certain days.

Yelp
So, I've never actually physically been to Sky Rocket, but I've had it delivered several times. Their burgers are delicious! I've always tried the same thing. Burger with cheese, bacon, lettuce, grilled onions, pickles, and a side of tater tots. When I'm feeling realllyyy hungry, I get a double. They get my order right every time. This will be my go-to burger place. One day I may venture to the actual building, but for now I'll continue my Ubereats and Sky Rocket relationships to get their yummy burgers in my mouth.

Yelp
Sky Rocket Burger is a burger joint that has a simple menu that consists of tasty burgers and shakes. It's a no-nonsense joint that let's you sit back and enjoy a good burger. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The location in Deep Ellum is a true dive. The good news is there is free parking, but seating inside is limited, although there are picnic tables outside. One of the bathrooms is very dark - even with the light on. But the walls are covered with names and signatures, and you're encouraged to add your own John Hancock. 1/2 Star. Service - You place an order at a kiosk, or order from the staff. It's your typical fast casual restaurant. You order, grab a number, get a drink, sit down, and wait for your number to be called. Nothing great, but nothing bad either. 1/2 Star. Food - The burger is delicious. You can order a single/double/triple + a sauce of your own liking. Like In-N-Out, Sky Rocket burger doesn't try to sell you several items from all over the place, opting instead to just pump out darn good burgers. The patty is super juicy, well-seasoned, and is paired well with a sesame seed bun and a mayo based sauce. I had high expectations for this burger, and Sky Rocket Burger passed with flying colors. For my side, I chose tater tots and a cookies and cream ice cream shake. The tots were perfectly crisp on the outside, and hot and soft on the inside. The shake was also great. I just needed a bigger straw. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. The burger exceeded my expectations. Sky Rocket uses the In-N-out playbook to perfection. Simply offer a great, quality burger and I will come! 1 Star. My Yelp Rating Scale (Sum of all parts): 1 Star - Atmosphere - Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I'll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star - Service - You can have a great meal with bad service. But that's also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It's important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars - Food - I'll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it's really all about the food. 1 Star - Will I come back? - If I know for a fact I'll return, I'll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food (2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I will sum them up to provide my final Yelp score.

Yelp
This is by far the best burger I've had in TX and one of the best burger/fry combos ever! It belongs on the Mt. Rushmore of burgers and fries: only 5 Guys and Betty's (Santa Cruz) can compete with Sky Rocket Burger. Perfect seasoning, perfect condiment ratios, perfectly cooked, perfect! Come to Austin! I can eat this everyday for the next 30 days.

Yelp
Sky Rocket burger need I say more, as always the burger was on point flavorful, juicy and just down right delicious. It's not my normal Sky Rocket Burger but just as good. The service was good and very polite, the prices well your in downtown so I give them that. The fries were fresh and crispy. Now the reason for the 4 stars. For as big as it is they can put a few more tables and around the drink stations wasn't kept up very well they had plenty of of pepper no salt the sugar was low and the lids were everywhere, out of the cola they didn't change it for a while even as I was leaving I checked it and still was not changed. But I loved the burger and that deserves 5 stars in itself but I can't judge it on just the burger alone, but 4 stars great job. Oh and please fix the parking lot.

Franki H.

Yelp
Good every time! I love that this location has a few parking spots right outside. These are the perfect late night burgers but they're only open until 9. I ordered mine with extra special sauce and grilled jalapenos for some extra heat. It's very "smokey" inside from the kitchen so I took mine to go.
google avatar

Anastasiya T.

Yelp
My all time fav burger spot! DELICIOUS food, very fast service too, strongly recommend to try!
google avatar

Victoria H.

Yelp
Yes! Yes! Yes! This burger is delicious and I love that it's safe for gluten allergies. The patties are so good and they will give you a lettuce wrap, and plenty of extras without price gauging. The turn around from order to pick up is crazy fast considering it's made to order. Delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
We came in on a Sunday to grab a bite before we left town. Service was quick and very friendly. Food was great! I personally think the burger is better than 5 Guys. Fries were cooked to perfection, crispy and seasoned with salt and pepper. Make sure you grab an extra secret sauce! We were dipping our fries in it. The vanilla shake was the perfect little treat afterwards too.
google avatar

Julian C.

Yelp
The burgers are great but the strawberry milkshake I received was anything but a milkshake. Parking kinda sux but accessible. The dude working the register was nice and the ambiance was kinda of cool with all the writing on the walls. I didn't try anything else though so can only speak to the burger and shake.
google avatar

Willis C.

Yelp
This is my go-to spot whenever I am craving a great burger! The burgers are made fresh, never frozen and cooked to order. They have some of the best fries around and don't sleep on their tots. They are always prepared with the perfect amount of crispness. The staff here is always tentative and ready to take orders. I have been during busy times, and they do a great job of cranking out the orders while maintaining their level of quality when it comes to the food. As for their shakes, they use Blue Bell ice cream in them which only adds to the deliciousness. As for the space, if dining in is your choice there are plenty of tables with chairs along with a bar-like counter with seating. The staff does an excellent job of keeping everything cleaned and ready for the next customer. If you prefer to dine outside, there are a couple of picnic style tables out front to meet your need. Also, unlike most places in Deep Ellum, they have their own private parking lot which is free. There is also a paid parking lot nearby along with street parking.

Yelp
I give out stars for what the place is serving - as far as smash burgers and fries goes, this place is solid, I give it 5 stars. Fries - get the Rocket Fries, grilled onions, sauce and cheese, really nice. You won't regret it. Bun was fresh, tomorrow and lettuce was fresh, nothing to complain about. Secret sauce is a nice compliment to the juicy smashed burger. Menu says the beef is found on site, never frozen. It's a great burger! There a kiosk setup at the counter for ordering if no one is at the register. It's a white and red box constructed from concrete block that people have taken to with Sharpies. The Mansion on Turtle Creek is a few miles away if you're looking for more upscale. If you find yourself near Hall & Commerce downtown and need a burger - I highly recommend this place. Didn't have a milkshake but they make them with Blue Bell, can't go wrong. Pellet ice at the drink machine if ice is your thing.

Twain H.

Yelp
Fourth time going when in Dallas. Consistently the BEST burgers. The wife agrees. The patties are always super tender with that perfect bite. Service is always friendly! Not high end ambiance though, but clean and tidy. It's one of those dives people wish they were close to but drive a distance anyways.
google avatar

Brandon L.

Yelp
This might be one of the best burgers in DFW in my opinion. Very good. It's pretty pricey, especially when you start adding things on. The meat is very good though. You can get the burger wrapped in lettuce, so protein style. So that's pretty unique. I definitely recommend the rocket fries or tots. Covered in bacon, grilled onions, & cheese. Dip those in their signature sauce and you're set. Haven't tried the shakes, but I hear they are really good.

Bobby C.

Yelp
Absolute dive but clean af. Fries are meh but holy shit these burgers are amazing!!! These burgers are what five guys used to be when they first opened with a little extra kick from the secret sauce.

Kyle M.

Yelp
The food was wonderful, but the customer service was terrible. We walked in at 5pm on a Sunday and the lady at the counter immediately seemed annoyed that we were there. When we started to order she said she was doing to go orders only. There were a few people eating in the restaurant so I asked why. She said it was to go only because they're about to close. I asked when closing time was and she said 6pm.....an hour away. I asked if we could eat there and she said yes but it's still go to. She brought our food out in to go bags. We ate and were gone by 5:35 all the while she shot us dirty looks. It was really disappointing as we drove from an hour away to try this place for the first time for my birthday.
google avatar

Jesse H.

Yelp
Worst establishment I've ever been to in my entire life. Time stamp : 5:00pm - We walked in and the the lady at the register says, "we have a 30 min wait for food" I said "ok, It's only 5 O'clock" then she said it again we close at 6 We have a 30 min wait on food. I said yes I'm ok with that. She walks back to the cook and the cook starts telling me at. "WHAT DO YOU WANT TO ORDER?" I said what did I do to you? He keeps yelling and I said, you know what? Forget and we walked out. In my entire life I've NEVER EVER been to treated like that. Especially from a cook. That will be the last time I ever go to that restaurant and I DONT RECOMMEND this place ANYONE. What's funny I had a friend tell me that they were treated disrespectfully and I didn't believe it. Maybe it was a bad day but to actually experience myself?!? WOW. I've never given below 3 star until today. Lol what a joke P.s. I ended up going to Terry Blacks Bbq up the street. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
google avatar

Stephen L.

Yelp
My experience at this fast food burger joint was abominable. The meat Patty on my burger was paper thin. It was a greasy, tasty burger but within an hour I was experiencing ferocious gas, followed by feeling terribly ill for a number of hours and horrible diarrhea. The tots tasted like Styrofoam and they forgot to serve us our drinks. We had to go back to the counter and request our drinks a second time. never again!
google avatar

Antonette F.

Yelp
Amazing burgers! Fries were rocking! Great shakes! Reasonably priced and great service. Will be back

Keith W.

Yelp
The burgers here are cooked to order and some of the best I've had in quite a while. The lady at the counter was incredibly friendly and attentive, even ensuring my large order for my family was taken care of promptly. I'll definitely be coming back.
google avatar

Elli D.

Yelp
We are obsessed with skyrocket. One of the best burgers in town, always made fresh and come out hot. If you want a classic, thin patty, greasy burger - this is the place to go!!
google avatar

Loriyon J.

Yelp
Alright alright I feel it's hard to mess up a burger but thankfully they didn't. That burger was so good and was all that my taste buds were ready for. I will come back to visit on my next Dallas trip for sure. It's like an upgraded version of in and out
google avatar

Chelsea O.

Yelp
Wanted to like this place more, but it really didn't live up to the hype. Restaurant was a little unclean. Burger tasted really good but was really greasy. The cheese fries were... a total miss. You can tell by the photo. They did have parking which is unique to deep Ellum.

Claudia A.

Yelp
Don't even try ordering delivery, they've forgotten or messed up the order 80% of the time and it SUCKS to wait so long to eat and not even be able to enjoy it. Its good for pickup i guess ?
google avatar

Lisa D.

Yelp
We walked in and stood there for a prolonged period while the two people behind the counter never spoke a word, greeted us, or even said, get out of here. All the while they were looking at us, so it's not a matter of them not knowing we were there. After an uncomfortable amount of time, my husband and I decided it was time to split and find somewhere we could actually get food. What a joke. Because we've been to Sky Rocket before, just not this location, we know the food is good. But if you don't have good people representing you, what's the point? We definitely won't be back to this location! Yall need to get somebody in your store that appreciates people and the fact that they have a job.
google avatar

Pete Z.

Yelp
Burger patties were dry as dust and the cheese fries were a block of room-temperature nothing. Our experience was nothing like the bulk of the reviews, so maybe they were having an off-day...

Barbara O.

Yelp
No food pictures because we ate it all too fast! Everything was delicious. Can't wait to comeback!!!
google avatar

Young R.

Yelp
The double cheeseburger with the rocket fries are amazing. It's basically a better version of In-n-Out. The food did take a little bit of time to prepare but I think the food was worth it. The only minor complaint I have is that the diet soda they have is terrible.
google avatar

Rolando N.

Yelp
Excellent cheeseburgers! Nothing fancy here. Fresh ingredients, nice outer crust on the meat patties, toasted sesame seed buns. Perfect. Tater tots were excellent as well.
google avatar

Emily H.

Yelp
2 blocks from the hospital so you can get your burger and bloodwork right after!! But seriously, great smash burger served with their special sauce, Mayo, lettuce tomatoes and pickles. You can add jalapeños and grilled onions for free! The tots were very crispy but were a bit too salty for me. This place will definitely become a hospital worker staple when craving a burger.
google avatar

Randy k.

Yelp
Damn. This burger and fries are spot on. Burger is fresh, bun is yummmy too Like the choice of chedddar or American cheese. Oh the fries. Fresh cut , skin on hot and crunchy Can't say enough about how excellent this place is
google avatar

Ray F.

Yelp
YES! This is a GREAT small Hamburger joint! There are 3 reasons to give this 5 stars. I had been talking really good beef flavor with a dear Yelp friend in the Chicago area. Our conversation had me craving really good caramelized/Maillard reaction beef. Not the run of the mill gray burger meat. 1) I had heard this place knows how to cook burgers at the right temperature for the right amount of time. YES! Perfectly cooked burgers, nicely caramelized with a cheese holding texture to keep the cheese on the patty. Best Cheeseburger in weeks! The bun was a tasty sesame topped that stayed together when coated with their magical sauce, chopped lettuce and slice tomato. 2) I had the fantastic cheese fries. The fries were skin on and the cheese melted/baked on the fries. Thick and heavy! 3) This is Texas. Texans chew ice. The best chewing ice is small soft ice nuggets. The soda fountain (Coke Fountain) had an Ice-O-Matic on top to provide heavenly small and soft ice nuggets. This alone is worth a stop when driving through the area. Nothing helps relieve stress in traffic like chewing ice. :) The place is well maintained, good size parking lot, friendly staff, and big windows to watch the Deep Ellum World go by. (Trust me, people watching in Deep Ellum is fun!) The price was very reasonable for the great food, chewing ice, perfectly cooked burgers and the outside entertainment! (Oh, COVID stuff...staff were wearing masks correctly!)

Yelp
I'm always looking for new places to try and Sky Rocket Burger was calling my name. The only thing is that this burger didn't wow me at all. It wasn't the worst burger I've ever had, but I guess I had higher expectations from this place after reading all the reviews. I ordered a single, with cheddar cheese, all the veggies and added jalapenos to it. Again, it wasn't the worst, it just didn't stand out in my opinion.
google avatar

Teresa R.

Yelp
I was surprised to see so many 4 star reviews for this place. What happened on the day of my visit? Call me a hamburger snob, but I like to taste meat in my burger. As the photos will show, this meat was paper-thin. A big let-down for someone who rarely eats burgers but was in the mood for one. A co-worker went to pick up the lunch for our office. She placed the orders online & was happy to see that I could request extra lettuce & could add jalapenos. I bought everyone's lunch & she went to pick it up. She said when she arrived at the drive-up window after 1pm on this past Thursday, no one approached the window to assist. After waiting several minutes she had to park her car and go inside! She entered & stood waiting for employees to stop 'messing around' (as she put it) to assist her. When she returned, I was terribly disappointed to open my burger & find a charcoaled tiny piece of meat that was so thin it was lost in the gob of sauce. I expected it to look like the pictures we viewed online. But it was a soggy, bit of nothing. I ate it because I had no other lunch, but was very sad that my request for extra lettuce (which would have soaked up some of the sauce that was dripping everywhere & maybe I would have found some GREEN lettuce) was ignored. I ordered a junior burger which was cheap at $3.99 - and that included my extra lettuce & jalapenos. So they are making quite a profit selling such a tiny bit of meat. Even at Burger King I get full eating the junior burger because the meat is twice as thick as this one. The sauce was good, but the bun was small so they didn't need to put so much. The jalapenos weren't hot, but the french fries were good. I don't mind a charcoal-cooked (burnt) burger but give me some meat, please. And with no customer service - this place is off my chart. We Googled a burger place near our job, but this one will never get my business again. There is too much competition in Dallas - please at the very least bump up your customer service. The reviews I read here on Yelp state that this place is handy for the hospital staff. Don't sell yourselves short, demand good service for your money. How much trouble would it have been to do your job & wait on customers & add extra lettuce?

Yelp
If you're craving a burger near Dallas, I highly recommend it. I got a single cheeseburger with grilled onions, jalapeños, a hard-fried egg, and spicy mayo. The add-ons cost anywhere from 0.25-1.25c. The burger comes with a side of fries. I upgraded to the rocket fries which came with cheese, grilled onions, and their secret sauce. The first thing I had after sitting down was the fries and I was sold. They were nice and crispy and the cheese and onions were a great addition. The burger was delicious. Everyone I ate with was satisfied and happy.

Nico D.

Yelp
Excellent burger. Patties are juicy and flavorful. Have not tried the shakes but I've heard great things. Come check it out!
google avatar

Michael W.

Yelp
These were the best hamburgers I've ever had hands down. The vibe of this place was awesome too. I also really enjoyed ordering on the tablet it made things really easy. Also try the rocket fries!!!

Daniel V.

Yelp
If you walk in here and order the double cheese burger with spicy mayo and the rocket fries and a chocolate shake.. just know.. you made the best decision of your life. Served nicely and hot! I promise after you take your first bite from that burger... you'll forget all about your problems it's that good. You'll be dancing in your seat filled with happiness. Both my gf and I have been twice and both times walked out thinking about the next time we come back.

Yelp
I spent nearly $50 for Doordash delivery of: A Single burger with American cheese, ketchup, bacon, and lettuce, A small fry, A double with secret sauce and raw onions, A rocket fry with grilled onions. My order was wrong, and the single burger was left off completely. I am especially upset because this was a special treat for my granddaughter. Now all she has is an order of lukewarm, limp fries. I am so disappointed. I had left this company a good Yelp review, but now...Not so much. As I was writing this, I received a call from "Alan", who said he is an owner. Initially, he suggested that the delivery driver "took" my burger and re-stapled the sack. Then, after I read my order to him, he admitted a mistake was likely made, and offered me a "free" burger, fry and drink whenever I had time to stop by, and a refund of the missing burger. I realize that's all he could probably do tonight, but the fact that his first response was to insist that I "hear him out" because the order could not be wrong, because it was double checked before being put in the bag, then to imply the Door Dash driver stole the burger out of the sealed bag was not a good look. Will I order from Skyrocket Burger again? Not unless I am there to check the order myself before I leave the place!

Yelp
came here because i was craving an american hamburger with the cheese on it. more than satisfied with the burger. secret sauce very similar to in -n-out. the fries are some of the best i've gotten. really greasy and good overall. kinda warm to eat in here. but burger was excellent and fries too notch. I give it 4 kevins out of 5. i'll come byke.

Yelp
THE BEST BURGER EVER!! the secret sauce is amazing and fries were great. One of the best burgers I've ever had hands down.

Ordered online. The line was pretty long when I got there probably about 5 min wait. My order was ready within 2 minutes after I said I was there. The service is ok. Didn't receive any ketchup or straw for Togo order with fries and a shake. The food was pretty good

Yelp
I visited Sky Rocket today and I never remember to take pictures. I got there about 1130ish right before the rush. I was kind of shocked by the prices but then I wasn't with today's economy and inflation. I proceeded to the kiosk and order a single bacon cheese burger with grilled onions and tots. I waited and waited and waited as it became busy and then went and asked for my burger as it was never called....finally happiness was received. The burger was fresh, hot, juicy, and made just as it was order with fresh, hot and crunchy tots. I couldn't complain. I will say this..the burger was a good burger and it didn't leave me full and weighed down feeling sluggish. If I an evening the neighborhood again I will be sure to stop by

Yelp
There are not many places in Deep Ellum that have their own parking lot (free) so this place wins for that alone. I think I saw someone comparing these burgers between Whataburger and In and Out. Meh. These burgers have their own thing going on. Never frozen and made to order. They only have burgers and a couple of sides (fries, tots, shakes) and I guess the veggie option is the grilled cheese. We all know how good McDonalds sounds in desperate times, but leaves you feeling yucky... Sky Rocket (in flight) will not leave you feeling that way. Also the tots were perfect crispy. Great addition to Deep Ellum.

Yelp
It's giving dirty, it's giving never been cleaned since the day it opened, it's giving salmonella. This kitchen is about as clean as the bath room. Y'all will leave here with a stomach ache. DO NOT EAT HERE. Also the staff is rude. And I'm pretty sure I seen him pick a rag off the floor to clean the stove top with. Beware people

Yelp
Quad American hold the onion. So good, the patties fused into a 1pb slab. Cooked fresh and served hot. Service was quick and helped with the off the menu order and wasn't a problem at all. Nice interior and was relaxing for a Sunday afternoon.

Yelp
Great food! Service was good too. I had the single with cheese and we split the large fries between 3 of us. The burger was really good and the guy working the counter was nice. Soda machine had cherry coke so that's a bonus! The toddler had a grilled cheese the size of his head and ALMOST finished it. The drink/condiment station was messy but it wasn't a big deal. Great lunch place in deep ellum. I was excited to try it, glad that I finally did and will try to come back.

Yelp
Their sesame sees bun burgers are amazing (went with an office crowd, everyone agreed)! Order the cheesy fries when you're not watching your cholesterol! Hole-in-the-wall setting, just a few tables and counter tops by the windows, nothing fancy, styrofoam cups, plastic ware, self-serve ketchup. I would return when it's not crowded. Colorful inside with graffiti on walls. Soda fountain appears to be local flavors (ie, no Coca Cola or Sprite) but tasted fine. Looks like a minority owned business, would gladly return!
