Skye Bar & Grill debuts a 24/7 tavern in Centennial Hills - Eater Vegas

"Terrible Herbst and Jett Gaming launched a new tavern in Centennial Hills with its own elevated spin on a pub grub menu and offering around the clock gambling. Moving into a long in the works, stand-alone space on the west side of the Smiths-anchored Skye Canyon Marketplace, Skye Bar & Grill joins recent arrival Omelette Cafe, and the under construction Bob’s Big Boy, also scheduled to feature 15 gaming machines. Initiating a daily 4 to 7 p.m. happy hour, featuring half-off orders of bar bites, specialty cocktails, beer, and wine, the open plan, well-lit Skye Bar space includes a large central bar equipped with video gaming, 18 HDTVs, and a small section facing a fireplace encouraging the tavern’s motto of 'cocktails and conversations.' Requiring phone reservations at 725-217-1881 for table dining and only welcoming customers aged 21 and over, the grill is accepting pick up orders for its full menu. Pitched as an 'upscale' twist on a local sports bar, breakfast is available at all hours and includes tres leches French toast, spam loco moco, Southern biscuits, and 'the soon-to-be-world-famous' pancakes. Bar bites can be purchased as a trio for $12, including the adobo pork belly sliders, pot stickers, beef skewers, and fried vegetables. Serving brick oven pizza and flat breads, specialty plates are highlighted by smoked beef ribs, an 8-ounce filet, chicken marsala, and cedar smoked salmon, with options of salads, soups, sandwiches, and burgers for more casual appetites. Skye Bar and Grill, 9830 W. Skye Canyon Park Drive, 725-217-1881. Serving 24/7, reservations are required for table dining." - Bradley Martin

Was not crowded (moderately empty actually), but really nice folks and equally 🆒 staff. Neighborhood spot and I'll be back to check it out again. Next time I'll order food and report back to the crew here...

Outstanding bar !!! It’s definitely the nicest bar in this area. The menu is very diverse and reasonably priced. They also have a brunch menu and happy hour 🍻. The food is very delicious and we really enjoyed their pizzas 🍕( the crust is really good), highly recommend them. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff is friendly and attentive. Overall: great bar scene, very relaxing and comfortable, great tasty food and welcoming staff .

Nice, local hangout. Good happy hour deals. I had the jalapeño poppers (pictured, I unfortunately toppled the very attractive tower right before I took the pic), and they were smoky, flavorful, and had a delicious sauce. My first beer was a Cali Creamin' pint, which was as good as ever. Next up was the seasonal Peach Ale. It was VERY good, a bit sweet. All in all, they have great service, friendly staff, lots of TVs, and bartop gaming. Highly recommended!

Eric is a horrible bartender especially if he doesn’t know you. The drinks had us sick the 3 times we went. We are new to this neighborhood and occasionally gamble. Black and Brown couple if that matters I didn’t think it did. We thought it was just something we ate so we gave it a fourth try and nope it’s the bartenders drinks.. DONT DRINK HERE WHEN ERIC IS THE BARTENDER.

Great location in Skye Canyon. Service was friendly & attentive. We had the basic burger, bar bite trio: jalapeño poppers, pork belly sliders, & pastor tacos. Food was delicious. Unfortunately, the dining areas are right next to & around the bar where people smoke. Really unappetizing to eat surrounded by smoke. Too bad, they have a great happy hour.

The Philly cheesesteak was SO good but the Brazilian Beef Bowl was just okay. The beef pieces weren’t tender and weren’t seasoned enough. Service was good. Kinda surprised at the lack of college football games on the TVs on a Saturday night. I wish they showed different games instead of the same game on multiple TVs.

We had one of the best dining experiences we've ever had at Skye Bar, and it was all thanks to our amazing server, Maleia! (Sorry probably butchering the name) From the moment we were seated, she made us feel welcome with her friendly energy and constant smile. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and warm personality truly elevated our entire evening. Maleia went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect from answering questions about the menu to checking in at just the right times without ever being intrusive. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in what she does. Skye Bar is already a great spot, but servers like Maleia are what turn a good night into an unforgettable one. Thank you for the outstanding service we'll definitely be back.

The Food was good but cold. Service was mediocre, felt like we were being forgotten and the bartender seemed fake with their attitude and "customer service voice" Should've had the manager to help if the bartender was busy. Felt like only cared about their frequent customers.
