"Located in the Skye Canyon Marketplace near the Smiths-anchored center, I report that Skye Bar & Grill is a new, 24/7 tavern offering an upscale twist on pub grub alongside around-the-clock gambling and video gaming; the open-plan, well-lit space centers on a large bar with video gaming, 18 HDTVs, and a small fireplace-facing section that promotes the tavern’s “cocktails and conversations” motto. It starts a daily 4–7 p.m. happy hour with half-off bar bites, specialty cocktails, beer, and wine; table dining requires reservations at 725-217-1881 and seating is limited to guests 21 and over, though the grill is accepting pick-up orders for the full menu. Breakfast is served at all hours, featuring tres leches French toast, spam loco moco, Southern biscuits, and the “soon-to-be-world-famous” pancakes; bar bites can be purchased as a $12 trio including adobo pork belly sliders, pot stickers, beef skewers, and fried vegetables. The menu also includes brick-oven pizzas and flatbreads, plus specialty plates such as smoked beef ribs, an 8-ounce filet, chicken marsala, cedar-smoked salmon, and lighter options of salads, soups, sandwiches, and burgers." - Bradley Martin
