Positively lovely! There are so many activities (golf, zip lining, hiking, kayaking) and the schedules are very detailed and easy to book! Food & drinks were amazing, really appreciated the fine dining experience in such a relaxing atmosphere! The grounds are gorgeous, with stunning views. The staff was ALL super friendly and attentive.

A Disappointing Stay – We Left Early Skytop Lodge looks great on the surface, but our experience was deeply disappointing. We actually ended our trip a day early — that should say enough. First, the food was consistently bad. Sauces and seasonings were off across multiple meals — either way too heavy or completely flavorless. Definitely not what you'd expect from a place that advertises itself as a top-tier resort with expensive pricing that does not meet the quality of the food. To make matters worse, both the indoor and outdoor pools were closed for construction — in July. Peak summer. The only alternative was the lake, which had dirty, poorly maintained lounge chairs that didn’t feel clean or inviting. It’s baffling why they didn’t stagger the pool closures. The on-site bicycle rentals are honestly a liability waiting to happen. Many of the bikes were in poor condition. It felt unsafe and many of them need repair or replacement. Finally, the beds and pillows were just plain uncomfortable. Between the back pain and lack of basic amenities, this wasn’t even close to a relaxing getaway. Skytop Lodge has potential, but right now it’s seriously lacking in upkeep, planning, and overall guest experience. We won’t be returning. I will point out that the staff is very good and we also did appreciate the quality of the coffee at the coffee shop.

We love Sky Top! The food is wonderful and what beautiful architecture and landscape! The team there is also very welcoming, you notice things like that right away! They want you to feel important and have the best experience possible! I ate at the Tap Room and Michael was a pleasure to have great conversation and personality. I also met the General Manager he came over to my friend and I to greet us. You can tell he cares and strives for that customer satisfaction. It made us feel like we mattered and they were happy we were there.😊 oh and the food, AMAZING! One of the best burgers I have ever had!! We also now make it a tradition and go to their Easter Brunch every year. It’s a wonderful festive event for all ages! They have a waffle station, omelet station, coffee, dessert table, and of course mimosas! I spread the word about it! My friend and her family are meeting us there as well this year. My son loved meeting the Easter Bunny! 🐰💐 Remember you can come to Sky Top anytime even if it’s just for lunch or a coffee.

A wonderful traditional mountain lodge retreat! The grounds and buildings are all well maintained despite the enormous size of the property. Very impressive. The staff is wonderful and you feel at home. Some of the main dining room staff gave the impression that guests were an inconvenience to whatever they would rather be doing but overall a great experience. The food was excellent. If gluten free or other allergies be aware the kitchen is not well educated and you will need to be your own advocate. Very attentive if issues are noted but make no assumptions.

I fell on the pickleball court and hurt my shoulder. The staff, especially Jane and Patrick, took SUCH good care of me while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. The next day other staff, especially Robert, the doorman, asked about my well-being and were very kind.

A truly special experience. Skytop Lodge takes you back to the old times when things were slower, with an "Old Money Country-Club vibe". If you are looking for a relaxing getaway that is not too far for a few nights this is the place. The grounds are meticulously kept, amidst the backdrop of the mountains and lake. What really made this hotel stand out was the expectional service from the omlette Chef James, to our hiking guide Fanni, and our shuttle driver who drove us around to the best fishing spots on the property.

The charm of this place is phenomenal! Rooms are well appointed, spacious, and clean. The property is kept immaculate. There is so much to do. Dining is great. There are a variety of restaurants according to your taste and price point. The breakfast buffet was fantastic! We will definitely be back again!

Wonderful little getaway for us. Amazed at all the options for activities both complimentary and for fee. We had a blast. The food was great in every restaurant. The Market is a MUST try for their specialty sundaes. There's something for everyone truly! The charm of the building and grounds is impressive.
