Slab BBQ & Beer Review - Sunset Valley - Austin - The Infatuation

" has had three spots in the Austin area for a while now, including one off Research Blvd, one at Westgate Lanes, and another in Cedar Park. Now, they’ve opened their fourth location in Sunset Valley in South Austin, with the same loosely hip hop-themed menu (with things like the NOTORIOUS P.I.G. or the CHICKEN.W.A.) that showcases barbecue styles from all across the country, mostly in sandwich form. Of note: this is their first spot in a standalone building (the others are in strip malls and a bowling alley), complete with a patio and lots of outdoor seating. " - Nicolai McCrary

Food as delicious as the original Slab BBQ location. Of Austin BBQ places, Slab uniquely has the best sandwiches. I had the McDowell, built around delicious rib meat, well complimented with the pickles, onion, and sauce. This place either offers the best BBQ you'll have at a bowling alley or the coolest surrounding you would find for a BBQ restaurant. Dope.

The small sandwich should be called a slider. It is literally bite-sized (smaller than the palm of my hand). The brisket had no flavor and the macaroni and cheese was watery. I’m disappointed because I’ve been to another location and the food was delicious.

Google
I was excited to visit this location when coming out of town. I had the trio sliders the chicken wasn’t bad, but the pork and the beef were very under seasoned and dry. The buns were hard the mac & cheese was very overcooked. The noodles were mushy and the amount of smoke that was added, tasted as if it was burnt, I also ordered the banana pudding. The cookie was stale and dry, and left a terrible aftertaste. Overall wouldn’t recommend. The two stars are for the chicken

I will never eat here again. I have loved SLAB for years, long before they were on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. My recent order was completely missing items, and the “BBQ nachos” I order frequently were just a handful of STALE chips and a sprinkling of meat, completely missing the pickles, onions, jalapeños, etc. I ordered online via their website, so I can prove that I did not check the boxes to remove those ingredients. No excuse either for not including certain items. The kicker? You can’t call and talk to anyone, you can only leave a voicemail. You can’t contact them on the website. If I don’t get a response from them by the time the payment is no longer pending from my bank, I will be filing a chargeback. Sure my fiancée could have checked the bag before he left, but we have never had issues with them before and they were tied up. We paid $72 and got $20 worth of food. Never. Again. Did they sell out? I have questions.

We were in town for a wedding having moved from Dallas to Denver and we were craving 3 things! Whataburger, Tex-Mex, and BBQ! Thankfully, we found this place to satiate the BBQ cravings! It didn't disappoint! The BBQ and sauces were outstanding! I love the variety of sauces they have to offer. The ribs were great, the sides were great, and my pork sandwich was awesome. I must say, only in Texas will you find layers of BBQ, mashed potatoes wrapped in a tortilla! The portions are HUGE for the price! The only reason for the one star is, I'd like to suggest an offering of a meat plate with sides! I really wasn't in the mood for a sandwich but it got the job done! Wonderful place, I hope they do well!

Google
This place is amazing, so glad that it opened close to home. Had the pulled pork sammich and it melted in my mouth. Can not wait to come back and try the brisket and other things. Wife enjoyed a nice craft beer while we ate. They have a good selection and the staff was great. Even has some outdoor seating!

Google
We ordered the nachos, Donk and the ribs They had good flavor but they were cold. We even asked them but they said it is part of the batch ( basically it is what it is) I personally went to people who prepare the food and told them that the food were cold and the young man just told me just sorry!

Google
Very happy with my visit! We had a coupon for free small nachos so we decided to come check the place out. We sat at the bar and was served my a very friendly and knowledgeable bartender. They also had a walk up counter and additional seating inside as well as an outdoor deck area. The place was very clean and well designed. Then the food started coming out and it was amazing. The nachos were crispy and loaded with pork and queso and bbq sauce. I had chicken, pork, and brisket sliders and my wife had the Donk deconstructed sandwich and we shared green bean casserole and smoked gouda mac and cheese! We washed it all down with an IPA and cider and for dessert I had a nitro cold brew coffee on draught! Wil definitely be back and will be a staple for good bbq!

Yelp
This is a strange little place but the food is tasty. The fact that you order and then the server goes outside to get the food was a little strange. But wow the food was delicious. We ordered the brisket nachos,a few different sandwiches, a bougie bowl and Mac and cheese. We all enjoyed our meals completely. I had the Tony Montana that had pulled pork, sausage and cheese sauce. It was really messy but very tasty. The nachos were delicious and were plenty to share with everyone at the table.

Yelp
For years, I have been wanting to try SLAB BBQ, but I could never find the time to go whenever I was in town. That finally changed this past weekend when my friend and I made a point to have lunch at SLAB. We browsed the different locations and decided to come to this one. We were confused at first because the GPS brought us to Westgate Lanes. I grew up going to this bowling alley and even had two birthday parties at Westgate when I was a kid; so you can imagine my surprise when we discovered that SLAB was inside the bowling alley! I'm not sure when they moved inside the bowling alley, but we were happy that we didn't have to eat outside in the extreme heat. SLAB is located near the entrance. It's counter service and they will page you when your order is ready. The two guys that were working were nice and answered our questions. I typically order brisket, but I was intrigued by the McDowell because 1. I love Coming to America and 2. It's deboned rib meat. I like ribs, but I don't love eating meat off a bone. Not having to deal with bones sealed the deal for me lol. It came with onions, pickles, and the Soul Glo sauce. The sandwich was a nice portion. The temperature of the sandwich could have been hotter. It wasn't cold, but wasn't piping hot either. The bread was good, but got to be too much so I didn't eat all of it. The rib meat was flavorful and tender and I liked the Soul Glo sauce. I had a few bites of Smoked Gouda Mac N Cheese and it wasn't bad. Mac N Cheese is never my go to side dish, but I love Gouda cheese and wanted to try it. Is it the best BBQ in town? Of course not, but it wasn't bad and I'm glad I was finally able to try it.

Yelp
I discovered SLAB while watching Diners, Drive Ins and Dives on the Food Network. If you follow my reviews, you know I like to hit up some of the restaurants featured on the show. On a recent trip to Austin, we decided to grab some lunch here. This isn't the location on the show, but one of the three locations they have now. We were confused as the address brought us to a bowling alley. We noticed a trailer outside that said SLAB on it but I almost kept driving to another location because it was too hot to eat outside. Driving up, a sign said that a full kitchen was inside. Phew, crisis averted! The bowling did not smell like a typical bowling alley as the wonderful aromas or BBQ filled the air. Sometimes the best food is located in places like this. Customer service was great. Your order at a window and seat yourself anywhere in the bowling alley. They give you a buzzer when your food is ready. I typically order what I see on the show, but I wanted to really test out a variety of their meats. SLAB stands for slow, low and banging, so I was expecting the most tender meats. Their menu is fun with unique, fun names for their creations. They don't do your typical meat plates here. Their thing is BBQ sandwiches and wraps. The only meat they sell a la carte are ribs They do have a few other items available such as nachos, bowls and wings when available. I do believe they sell their meat in bulk to go as well. I went with the SLAB Slammer Trio which came with slider versions of their best sellers. It included the Notorious P.I.G. (pulled pork), TX O.G. (brisket), and Chicken W.A. (shredded chicken). I asked if they could substitute the chicken for a sausage slider and they happily obliged. We also got an order of their smoked gouda mac and cheese and some chips. The food came out quick as expected. I tried the meats first before eating it as a sandwich. Individually, I really liked all the meats especially the brisket. I would've liked it to be a little warmer though. They were very tender, with just the right amount of smoke. As a sandwich, it was overall just ok. If you are a sandwich selling business, you gotta use the best bread. The little slider buns could've maybe used a little toasting or something as they were a little hard and cold. I ended up ditching the top bun and going at them as open faced sandwiched. The mac was outstanding. I don't know if I was just hungry, but I made the comment it was one of the best I had. I washed it all down with some delicious lemonade. I also tried a bite of the ribs from the McDowell sandwich was a take on the McRib. Those ribs were really good. Overall, it was a good lunch. BBQ is definitely a huge business in and around Austin so I have high expectations when having it in the area. The meats were good but I don't think I will go out of my way to come back before trying other places first.

Yelp
Just fyi they're located in west gate lanes bowling alley. Now on to the important thing, the food! I ordered the brisket nachos which were great! When I placed the order I did note that I want to add more brisket however, that didn't seem to happen but nevertheless they were good. I recall when they first opened at they bowling alley and when they located on 290 the would pile the nachos pretty high with lots of meat but things change I suppose. Lastly the customer service is okay; not bad, not great. All in all, will I return? Absolutely!
google avatar

Kia L.

Yelp
Slab BBQ is delicious! I got this catered for an event. Food was packaged nicely and everyone loved the O.G (brisket)and P.I.G (smoked pulled pork) which was tender and full of flavor these sandwiches you can't go wrong with!

Jenny L.

Yelp
Got the pulled pork sandwich (small). It had a good amount of meat. Service was prompt. Overall, the meat on its own wasn't bad, it was just really bland. You need the sauce to actually taste any flavor. Cole slaw was awful - they used some type of Russian dressing to smother the cabbage and add cayenne pepper - way too spicy for me. I don't think there is actually a smoker on site. They just have warmers to keep your order warm. Wouldn't return.

Rose G.

Yelp
This BBQ is absolutely scrumptious! The ribs were perfect and fell off the bone! Hubby had the brisket and. Couldn't stop talking about how good it was through the rest of our trip.
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
We've been wanting to try this place since it's close to home. If you love bowling alleys, lots of people aimlessly running around, and tons of noise, this will be fun for you. We liked the vibe, but it might be too chaotic for some.. After lengthy review of the menu, we all decided what we wanted, and as we got to the window to order, we were told that all they had was sausage and ribs. We left. No review here of the food, just a suggestion to have a backup plan. The place doesn't look big enough to store much more than a Yeti full of food, so maybe they run out. We'll try again.
google avatar

Sanya G.

Yelp
Had driven past this on William Cannon and was excited to try it! I ordered the 3 slider meal with brisket, pork, and chicken as well as a side of queso chips. The chicken slider was sooo good. The chicken was really nice and smoky and the coleslaw added a really good crunch! I do wish there was little bit more chicken in my slider. The brisket and pork sliders were also really good but my favorite was the chicken. I'd skip on the queso. It was ok and tasted like prepackaged queso you can get at the store. I really look forward to coming here again!

Trmoomi ..

Yelp
Great Bbq, I would recommend this for a place to get some food and drinks. Lots of different sauces.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered several main items and sides. It tasted decent, however, everyone in my family experienced upset stomachs immediately and almost lived on the toilet for the next 3-4 days. Food poisoning in not cool.
google avatar

Amber W.

Yelp
Back again to our favorite BBQ place. This time I gorged myself on brisket nachos with no onions or jalapeños. Man oh man. The crispy chips. The tender, flavorful melt in your mouth, slap yo daddy and kick your cat good brisket. Tasty sweet BBQ sauce. Classic queso and what makes the whole plate a hit...chopped up pickles. A little burst of crisp vinegar to cut the richness of the cheese is a bite of what I hope clouds would taste like. We drive from San Antonio to eat here and you should too. Call up your boo and tell them it's time to get weird and head to Austin. What are you waiting on? Go on. Austin is calling.

Yelp
The smoked turkey is amazing! Everything we have ordered has been top notch. Service is excellent

Yelp
Went to pick up an order this weekend, staff was very busy on their phones. I stood there with my 2 y/o whining for a minute before I took this picture. They finally picked up there heads a little while after I snapped pic. Foods good and staff usually is on point but there's 2 jokers are making this place look bad. Discourages you to go back when the service sucks, too bad bc this is the best bbq in the area.

Mike M.

Yelp
Great food & friendly staff. Everything sounded delicious on the menu, so I tried the trio sliders. Did not disappoint at all. Was fun to try 3 different smaller sized portioned sandwiches. Their sauces are really complementary & not your typical bbq sauce. Brisket was my favorite! I will be back! Maybe even bowl next time.
google avatar

Samson S.

Yelp
Very nice and friendly staff. Nothing we can really eat there since we are vegan but some nice cold beer gathered with a smile and that is good enough for me. They have a good size menu despite the smaller are space they have They open early as well. I recommend going if you are at Westgate lanes. Blows away the old Lebowski Grill they had here.

Anuj S.

Yelp
Great pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw. Huge serving! Now available in Westgate Lanes!

Yelp
This review is based solely on the food of our last visit. Our first experience with Slab was ordering a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving of 2020, and it was one of the best turkey's we've ever had. Smokey, moist, and lovely. But, since turkey is not a regular meat on their menu I am reviewing strictly on our last meal. While down in S. ATX, I stopped in to give the restaurant a true try. Upon walking in, the menu was posted on the wall, but confusing. All we saw were sandwiches, no mention of meat by the 1/2 pound or pound and no price. Would be cool to know what options we have with a little signage. Is this a sandwich spot or a BBQ joint? Long/short, they did let us do 1/2 pound orders, so got some brisket, a few sides, and some beers. Sides were solid. Twice baked potato salad and the smoked mac/cheese were both great. The brisket on the other hand was meh. Maybe i'm spoiled with Texas brisket and its smokey, red tinted smoke ring and crust. So it was a little sad to get something that was not that. The meat, while tender, was almost more like a pot roast. Seems like they take inspiration from many different styles (KC, Carolina, TX, etc) with sauces, so maybe this was the point, and I'm sure slathered with sauce and tossed on a bun it's probably pretty good. But if i'm going tit for tat on sliced brisket, elsewhere will allow you to fly closer to the Texas sun. Not sure we'll be back if we're wanting true BBQ, but if we're in the mood for a BBQ style sando, we may swing by.
google avatar

Jordan N.

Yelp
The sliders were good - some better than others. The place didn't blow me away though. It bills itself as a BBQ joint, but I see this more of a BBQ-between-buns joint. I wouldn't go out of my way for this type of barbecue, but for those who likes brisket sandwiches and the likes, this is a good place to go to.
google avatar

Gina F.

Yelp
I've had a lot of bbq after living in Texas for 8 years and this is right up there with the best of them. We actually tried this at BBQ Austin, among many other popular places. I can be quite picky about brisket and wow this was in my top two of the 10+ we tried. Perfect amount of spice rub, tender, fatty, delicious. Can't wait to go back and have a full plate.
google avatar

robert s.

Yelp
Not really sure what's all the fuss about this place. I'd put it at about the same level as Poke Jos. I ordered the brisket OG abs Mac and cheese. The brisket was average Texas fare, nothing to write home about: smoked properly, good black pepper BBQ sauce and appropriate fat level. The side of Mac was definitely a miss. It just tasted like butter Mac. Where's the ?
google avatar

Joel B.

Yelp
Great sandwiches and you can grab a beer across the lot The rib sandwich is what the McRib wishes it was...
google avatar

Solomon I.

Yelp
Every time I have come here they have always exceeded my expectations. Great services and great food and great sauces. Their wrap are amazing, the brisket is good and so is the pork.
google avatar

Julia C.

Yelp
Didn't want a sandwich, so ordered some brisket in a small salad. Yum! Fresh ingredients, flavorful brisket, and some jalapeño dressing with a KICK. The sides were delicious too. Will probably order a larger size if the potatoes...delicious!
google avatar

Jennifer W.

Yelp
Phenomenal! Food was so good. Loved the sauces too. The bar side is cute too. Smart idea to have one side more like a bar and one side a small place to eat inside. Didn't care for the plastic barriers but maybe this is required due to covid. I'm stuffed! We even have leftovers for dinner lol
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
Love these guys and they're one of my favorite spots in Austin. Tried the new Westgate location and kind of wish they would have given us a plastic fork after we tipped them $20 up front but that's a mistake I'll learn from and not a reason to take away a star. The double donk is one of the most undervalued items in my opinion. Each of the meats is consistently great and at a price point that will almost surely need to be raised to stay in business with the way things currently are. I'm not a big fan of it being in the westgate bowling alley but I also haven't been inside there since I went on a date in high school 18 years ago. I do appreciate the nostalgia though.
google avatar

Brooke B.

Yelp
No bbq to dress ourselves or side pickles. My card was hacked in Austin and this was the only place I had used it while in town.
google avatar

Rosalind C.

Yelp
I tried the other location and decided to try this one when I came into town. Long story short, it's really good. The service and the food. I got the slider trio and it was good, everything tasted fresh. My only issue, which is a personal preference is they didn't have enough bbq sauce. Overall I would highly recommend.
google avatar

Yvette A.

Yelp
Def one of my fav BBQ spots in all of Texas. I love to come to this location so I can bowl and eat the yummy bbq! The ribs and brisket are out of this world and def get the banana pudding! 10/10
google avatar

Danielle D.

Yelp
We were looking for a BBQ lunch spot and SLAB delivers! The meats are smoked to perfection and because we couldn't decide on what to try we got two of the best sampler options on the menu - the slider trio (chicken, pork, brisket) and the epic DONK sammich (all the meats - chicken, pork, brisket, sausage and all the sauces). We also tried two of their sides because YOLO - Gouda Mac and the twice baked potato casserole. Legit, UNBELIEVABLY good. My favorite out of the slider trio was the chicken - sauces were on point, chicken was tender and juicy. The Mac and cheese was EPIC - it's a wet Mac which I love. Super creamy, smoked Gouda is just divine. Twice baked tots were also good (but my heart belongs to the Mac). If you're here for epic then go with the DONK. Single portion was HUGE but it delivers on flavor! Stacked high with meats it's also smothered in delicious sauces, crunchy onions and jalapeños. Honestly, will come back for that! Beer selection is fantastic. Get you some SLAB!
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
Fun vibe, dope bbq, great options, and delicious dessert. If you like bbq you'll love Slab BBQ!

Michelle M.

Yelp
We tried this place on a whim and became pleasantly surprised! The women at the front desk was so sweet and the food was so good. We tried the Tony Montana, The Donk, Brisket nachos and, the Mac & cheese. All of it was so good and full of flavor. The backyard area was also a great place for my toddler to run around and get her energy out. We will be coming back soon!!
google avatar

Jo R.

Yelp
Ordinarily, I love SLAB, but the Door Dash order I just received from them was incredibly disappointing. One of the items I ordered was nachos, and the queso wasn't even completely melted. As I was pouring the queso on top of my nachos, two massive chunks of unmelted cheese (at least I hope that's what they were) came plopping out. Also, the brisket wasn't warm, as if it had been recently pulled from a refrigerator but not heated. So disappointing! Do better, SLAB!
google avatar

Johanna J.

Yelp
First time visit to SLAB (about two weeks ago) and we were impressed by the quality of the food, portion and reasonable price. Service was prompt and friendly. We opted to dine outdoors and food was served right away. The sandwiches and sides were delicious. I had the Notorious PIG (perfect size for me) while hubby enjoyed the Texas Two Step with a side of potato salad. I do recommend - can't wait to come back soon.
google avatar

Britney B.

Yelp
Their ribs are the most fall off the bone I've ever had. BBQ bowl wasn't my favorite- but I'm also not q fan of peppers, and I couldn't take those out of the hash. The servers were SO kind. Their menu is fun. I love that this business decided to park it in the bowling alley. It's a perfect fit. Really enjoyed their potato side.

Alexandra M.

Yelp
Where to start..... I got the Slab slider trio and now I know why they suggest you order extra sauce because they are so dry and lack but a dollop of sauce. I only ate one and attempted to improve my Mac n cheese with the scraps of said sand which -It did not improve the mac n cheese. Finally I was just hoping to at-least like my banana pudding and it was okay. Lot of whip cream and not a whole lot of banana or wafer.

H M.

Yelp
The service was incredibly friendly but our food was...terrible. Our brisket was tough and the ribs were chewy. I understand this could happen towards the end of the day but we went during prime lunch time. When you expand your business, quality control becomes harder and there is always the "off day" every restaurant is entitled to but bbq is too expensive and competitive for second chances so we will not be returning.
google avatar

Jin L.

Yelp
It was my first time having SLAB so I wanted to try the trio to get a taste of the most popular sandwiches. Let's just say that it did not disappoint! The portion sizes are HUGE, which is always a plus for me. The trio comes with the Texas O.G., Notorious P.I.G., and the Chicken W.A. All of the sliders were amazing, but my favorite has to go to the Chicken W.A.! Their dank white sauce is addicting!!! For COVID-19, they are currently doing curbside takeout and limited dine in and patio service
google avatar

LaShelle B.

Yelp
We had AWESOME service at Slab BBQ at Westgate Lane in Austin, TX. After a day of fun with the family tubing in New Braunfels we headed to Austin to try Slab BBQ which we had seen on YouTube & It didn't disappoint! The staff was amazing we had the nachos, the donk sandwich & ribs ... it was amazing!!! The nachos great amount of cheese & bbq!!! The donk was so good, meat was falling of my bun & I forgot about my table manners and I was picking it up with my hands!! The ribs are so tender & awesome no bbq sauce was needed! & The staff was so kind they gave us free banana pudding but we all were so full we could only take a bite. I ate my banana pudding for breakfast the next morning & enjoyed it with my coffee, the banana pudding was light and sweet; simple amazing!! Sorry we didn't take pictures ... the food looked so good we all just dove in an ate our food! (We forgot about our posts & timelines) The food is awesome best first restaurant visit ever! (Even though it is inside a bowling alley)

Yelp
Delta alpha mike November! This was good! I eat meat maybe once a month, and I think I found my new go to place. I got the Chicken WA. My partner got the country hash which was also good. Definitely recommend this place .

Joshua T.

Yelp
I cannot express how grateful I am for SLAB and their staff! I have eaten here, almost daily, for about a year now. And the staff has treated me like family every time I see them. I'm never let down by their food. Only when they run out of things I like! But when that happens, they usually introduce me to something new, that I also end up enjoying! I really appreciate the effort that goes into making this place run smoothly and with great food. It doesn't go unnoticed! Thank y'all for all you do!

Debbie W.

Yelp
We first ate Slab BBQ at the Austin Rodeo BBQ cookers contest & it was so good. We just got sandwiches from their location at Westgate Bowling alley. I got pulled pork & my husband got sliced brisket. Both were mediocre at best. Not a lot of flavor & both sandwiches needed more sauce. Since we took it to-go, we couldn't get extra. We also got BBQ beans which were way too thick & in my opinion, Bushs beans (out of a can) are easily as good or better. We will finish our meal, later with banana pudding that comes with a homemade sugar cookie. We'll see how good dessert is. The whole meal was expensive, too. $35. ‍ Probably not going back.
google avatar

Erin G.

Yelp
I've had a craving for barbecue lately, and have always wanted to give Slab a try. It is one of my friend's favorite restaurants and barbecue. I gave the new location in Westgate Lanes a try. My dad got the Two Step with chopped brisket and sausage, and I had The O.G. with sliced brisket. We also got all of the fix-in's: twice baked potato casserole, coleslaw, and beans, which was good but nothing to write home about. Overall, it was tasty and affordable, which is a dang miracle as all craft barbecue joints are super expensive these days. I'm not trying break the bank or do fine dining here with a barbecue sandwich.
google avatar

Will C.

Yelp
Got there early and thankful we did. Fills up even on Memorial Day. Brisket pork and chicken all cooked perfectly. We forgot to add any extra sauce as soon as we started eating
google avatar

Ali R.

Yelp
Omg so yum! We got brisket nachos, the slider trio and we had to try the potato casserole. Definitely appreciate the queso coming on the side for to go orders. The nachos were big. Between the two of us, we had 1 slider each and about 1/4 of the nachos each. I didn't even have enough room to try the casserole... tomorrow's lunch for sure. We'll definitely order from SLAB again!
google avatar

Yelp
Good food! It's not what I would consider "Texas BBQ" but it's cooked well, really tender, and a fun atmosphere. You walk in, order at the counter, and seat yourself. While you wait, you are entertained by the throwback music and sports on the TVs. My daughter loves ribs, and liked the McDowell (which is an awesome name and nod to "Coming to America"). My son got the Texas Tornado, but it wasn't his favorite. However, it was HUGE! He loved loved loved the pickles. I got the OG, and it was perfect. The red sauce is a tad sweet, while the mustard based sauce is a nod to the Carolina mustard sauces. The potato salad was amazing, the twice baked casserole was a tad dry, and the baked beans were great. We didn't get to try the Gouda Mac-n-cheese because they were out. :( All in all, it's a good meal and fun atmosphere for all family members.

Yelp
I don't usually give 1 stars, but unfortunately I had a really bad experience. We went bowling and slab bbq is available while you bowl. All I wanted was a coke, so I scanned the QR code that was at our seats at our bowling lane. We ordered the coke. 15 mins went by and we were well into our game so my boyfriend went to check if he could just grab it from the window. He told them we ordered on the app and it said it would bring it to us, but could he just grab it there. They told him they could bring it out they guess, but that would probably take a long time so he could just grab it there. (Why still have the QR codes out if they have no intention of bringing food and drink out to people anymore??) then they said the syrup was messed up with the drink so he'll fix it and bring out soon. 1.5 hours go by, we finish up our two games, and no coke ever came. We got our refund and left. I was very disappointed because I wanted to try their bbq too, but we decided to get dinner somewhere else after that.

Yelp
I got the Mac n cheese topped with pulled pork and it is straight up gross. The cheese separates from the Mac into chunks. The noodles are mushy. The pork and the bbq sauce aren't good.

Yelp
The pork rib sandwich is to die for. That's all I've had here, but I've had it 3 times in the past 6 months, and it is great. Sides are just ok. My biggest complaint is that they do not serve wine, the bar keep told me they used to but it wasn't selling. So, that's a drawback for me. I am not a beer drinker.

Yelp
We had the slab BBQ truck at work last week which was a real treat! I had the brisket sandwich with a little side of potato salad and coleslaw. The huge sandwich was delicious! Definitely will try them out in Oak Hill!
