A family-owned board‑game pizzeria serving sturdy pan pies, subs, and local beers with shelves of games to borrow. Covered by neighborhood press and loved by locals, it’s a community hangout as much as a slice stop.

I almost forgot to take pictures, wish I had gotten it at the beginning of the meal, but my daughter and I had so much fun hanging out together that we didn't even think of taking pictures at the beginning of our dining experience. This is going to be another place we will be stopping back at. Everyone was super friendly. The food was delicious and there were a ton of games to choose from. We ordered the jalapeno poppers, a small bacon pizza, a small pesto pizza, a small pizza of the month which was fig and balsamic vinaigrette, and a large half pepperoni half cheese pizza. I will have to take more pictures next time I go, but I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for good food and a variety of board games. Me and my daughter enjoyed playing abducktion for the first time and we will definitely be getting this game for at home.

The pizza here is absolutely phenomenal. They’re incredibly accommodating with food allergies, offering options like vegan cheese and gluten-free crusts. I hadn’t had pizza in five years since becoming lactose intolerant, but their vegan pizza tastes just like the real thing—delicious and satisfying. The staff are exceptionally friendly and clearly passionate about board games. They’ll gladly help you choose a game, walk you through the rules, and even get you started with your first round. It’s a welcoming, fun experience all around.

My son and I tried slice and dice for the first time a few weeks ago. We were very impressed by the whole experience. It's obviously a very roomy establishment. It wasn't very upfront about the process of playing games though, we didn't know where to start as there was a very large amount of games all over the place. There are several different rooms that you can sit in and eat. There aren't signs pointing out the fact that there are games you can buy and games that you can play for free. We didn't know about the games you could play free that were hidden on a wall around the corner and no sign was leading to them. The food was off the hook! I have to say that the pizza and breadsticks reminds me of Pizza Hut back in the early eighties and nineties; I haven't tasted pizza this good since that era! They give very generous portions that are extra cheesy and it's not full of grease. I had a toasted sandwich with ruffles chips, again, the portion size was very generous here. I love the fact that you're able to get your own plates, forks, drinks, and take home containers for afterwards. They allow you to take as much as you need, so don't ruin it for others later take ONLY what you need to carry your leftovers out. The breadsticks could be a subject talked about on their own in a review! They are warm pillowy and extra cheesy! These breadsticks are huge too! I've never seen breadsticks so big and there's no complaints about it either, I love that! The dough was tender but still crispy on the outside as well. They were still good a couple of days after taking home too, if you are like me, and know how to reheat things properly. The staff were very welcoming and friendly with us, they maintain a clean environment. This is a very cool and unique atmosphere and I recommend it for friends who want to eat out and have a good time, for families and even for individuals who just want to go someplace different and have a unique experience while eating out. Keep up the good work slice and dice! and don't change that food recipe whatever you do!

Google
Slice and Dice is a cool dine and game experience. Definitely a perfect spot to hangout with friends or a date spot. My buddy and I ended up playing battleship while we ate. We orders their medium pizza half sausage and half pepperoni with green chili. The pizza was good fluffy crust and crispy. They also serve alcohol too. There’s a huge selection of games to play from. Their game store fully stocks of various types of games for sale too. Just ask an employee for help and they’ll be able to answer any questions.

Google
Favorite place to spend game night! The entire staff is amazing. The food is delicious (like really good). And soooo many board games. I always feel so comfortable and welcomed to be in this space. Thanks for creating this place slice and dice! *** ALSO the chairs are really comfortable and the booths have enough room if you are a lager person :)

Google
I liked the concept of eat food and play y, it reminded me of my college days! The pizza wasn't bad, but the cheesy bread was delicious! The game selection was good. My suggestion: learn the rules of a game that they have there before you come or bring your own game. We spent too much time trying to learn a game and not enough time enjoying a game! I look forward to returning!

Google
Only been there twice so far but times have been very positive experiences. All the employees are welcoming, friendly, and seem like they actually want to be there which is nice. The food was delicious both times with generous portions and service was fast. The space itself was surprisingly large and both times,on a Friday and Saturday evening, we had no trouble finding a table. In addition they have games to play for free with a purchase of food and drink, and a surprisingly nice collection of games to buy. Because of the positive experience we plan on coming here a lot more in the future.

Google
Great place for pizza! I love how they have options for vegans too. Vegan cheese, pepperoni, sausage, and meatball sandwiches! It’s so hard to find a place where my whole family can go to get pizza in Albuquerque. This place is great! Plus my kids love being able to play games while we wait for our food

Yelp
Great food, fun assortment of games, but the best part of Slice and Dice is the management and staff! We scheduled a party for a large group recently wanting to share our love of this place with our family and friends. Unfortunately the day of the event, they had a fridge failure, and they could have easily cancelled our gathering and shut down for the day. Instead, they welcomed us in and made adjustments to our reservation to make sure we still had a great time. Huge thank you to Vic and the management for providing amazing service, being flexible and considerate, and overcoming unforeseen challenges! Strongly recommend for large gatherings or just a few people and lots of fun!

Yelp
Overall: Excellent place to hang out with a large group of friends Food: 3.5 The pizza that we ordered was similar to Domino's or Pizza Hut, which I think is good for a place whose main attraction is the board games not the food. I would have ordered similar pizza for an at home board game night anyways Ambiance: 5 The restaurant is spacious with lots of different sized tables to accommodate any type of group. There are plenty of board games to choose from, and they did not bother us while we played games.

Yelp
We are slow to the board game party. We are big DnD players, but not always in the game store. I am gonna say Pan Pizza is delicious! Small Speciality Pizza for me. And a small Build Your Own for Hubby! A good balance of cheese and toppings. Sauce is tangy but not over powering. Now, IF you don't know much about Slice n Dice, they are a restaurant but also a game store. They have a good game library. Mapped out by number of players, one player to large groups. Adult games (Cards Against Humanity etc.) Are up out of the reach of the kiddos. Their staff is friendly, and attentive without being overly so. Thanks for a great meal!

Yelp
They checked allergens for me. Multiple gluten free items. I'm also allergic to soy and potato. The gf bun and cauliflower crust are okay. Pepperoni, sausage, turkey, sliced cheese (only!!), pesto, mustard are all okay. The pizza cheese and pizza sauce (tomato based) are NOT. Apple Cider (alcoholic) is gluten free, but due to set up of taps they cannot guarantee it for celiac level. They also do not have a dedicated kitchen, but did seem extremely attentive to documentation my allergens and ordering pseudo-off-menu. They also have an extensive game purchase section with boardgames, cars games, dice games, and miniatures that is pretty grand! They have games available to check out and play at the table. Laminated rule books and cards. Not just standard games either! We chose Exceed Fighting System, Welcome to the Dungeon, and Marvel United to play. Ended up purchasing 3 games and 2 extensions to others we already own. Very kind staff!

Yelp
Wow, what a cool spot to bring family and friends for a fun game night! Huge shoutout to the Slice and Dice crew working on Friday, 4/11/25. The place was packed, but the employees were efficient, friendly, and super helpful. Even with the rush, everything felt smooth and steady. I really enjoyed my Hawaiian pizza, my friend (who's vegan) appreciated the vegan cheese option for her pizza, and my vegetarian friend said she liked the vegan meatball sub. The game selection in the retail area was extensive and seriously impressive--I had a blast picking out games to play in-house and for purchase. I can't even imagine the cleanup at the end of a shift--gathering game pieces, dice, figuring out where everything goes, on top of regular cleaning duties. Mad respect to the team! I also loved that every game we played had laminated cards--seems like a smart move for easy cleaning and sanitizing. It genuinely warmed my heart to see families playing games instead of being on their electronic devices.

Yelp
This is a cool concept! Games, food, beer, coffee and store. We need more places like this where you can go for a fun date night, take your kids out to have some board game fun or hangout with friends. The food is delicious! Not pictured were the cauliflower pizza and a their regular pizza. They have a great variety of pizza toppings and if you're gluten free, the cauliflower pizza crust is really tasty and crispy. The dice rolls were super good; they were delightful cheesy pillows. Last but certainly not least were the churro doughnuts...they were one of the best doughnuts I've ever had!

Yelp
Such a fun place for a date night, game meet up with friends or a birthday celebration. I've come here for all 3 reasons and each experience has been lots of fun. To try new games and eat some yummy pizza.

Yelp
Not just for tabletop game players this is a decent pizza place too. I was quite satisfied with the presentation, crust flavor and topping quality. It's worth the money and half a medium filled this gamer's gut quite nicely. They also have some intriguing dessert offerings. Give them a try.

Yelp
Picked up a superb GLUTEN FREE cauliflower crust pizza. Was delighted with how flavorful and cheesy it was. Will always miss a crispy wheat crust but was completely satisfied with this one. Will order again.

Yelp
So for our s date night (we date their the alphabet) we chose Slice and dice pizzeria. They were not very busy when we stopped by. We ordered wings and a pizza. We sat down and then looked around at the free game choices. We are a bit older and a lot of the games were sci-fi/fantasy games. We settled on a good game of scrabble. The wings came out fast and hot. They had a crispy outside and were meaty. They were seasoned well. But I prefer to have sauce options. The pizza came out next. We ordered the full house pizza (pepperoni, sausage, onions, black olives, ground beef and mushroom). It had a pan style crust. It was tasty. As we sat playing our game, the place really started to get busy with a young 20 something crowd. It is a great place to go for some clean family social fun.

Yelp
There are two locations of Slice and Dice - one east and one west. It's somewhat similar to Empire. For a weekday night last week, most of the tables were full. You order at the counter and board game play is free with any food purchase. My friend and I got the churro and the crème brulee cheesecake ($7). The pizzas weren't a bad price either. Fun environment. 2023 #58

Yelp
I've always really enjoyed the slice and dice location out on the west side, but that location is very far from my house. I was so excited to see that they had opened up a location in my part of town. They actually took over a space that used to be Super Salad I believe. I went with some friends on Saturday night and when we pulled up it looks kind of dark from outside so we were questioning if it was even open but once we went inside, there were a bunch of people and it was definitely very active in there. You order your pizza first and then go for the games. It's such a fun way to test out new games and entertain yourselves while you wait for the pizza. I will say the pizza usually comes out pretty fast though, so no worries there. They also have a couple of dessert, options, subs and beer on tap.

Yelp
In ABQ for the Balloon Fiesta and grabbed takeout pizza and wings. Food was great and price same. Would recommend.

Yelp
I really loved it here! Food was good, service was quick and the atmosphere is so fun. There's such a wide variety of games to play and everyone around you is having fun. Best part is that they have a store to buy the games if you liked them.

Yelp
I just moved down to Albuquerque and my Dad & I were starving after finishing unloading-- I chose the first pizza place I saw. Boy was I surprised to walk into a board game pizzeria. The pizza was delicious. The service was friendly. We were too exhausted to play a game but definitely coming back for sure!

Yelp
Pizza was good breadsticks are good jalapeño poppers were good and had a little fun playing old school original. Not sure that I would go back. They had lots of boardgames, but too many to choose from so I stuck with Candyland old-school original can't go wrong
google avatar

Yelp
This location is the sister location of the one on the west side. They have the same great menu but the location is bigger and accommodate bigger groups. Their pizza and sandwiches are my favorite though I have no complaints for the other dishes and in love with the desserts. They do have groups that meet up every week, I go to meet the people for the game "Blood on the Clock Tower" on Mondays which is fun, the game has similarities to the game "Mafia". Also they have customer incentives for being members. You can get free pizzas and discounts on games. The staff are fantastic and that's why I keep coming back every week. They also do pizza of the month and the proceeds go to local charities.

Yelp
I am beyond excited that my favorite pizza (and wings) place made it to this side of town! It's fun for all ages, you can take your kids, date, or grandparents here and play games while you eat DELICIOUS food. The salads, subs, wings, and pizza are all so good. You really can't go wrong. I highly recommend this place!

Yelp
Pizza was dry and not enough pizza sauce and got more fresh dice tomatoes on pizza instead. The five layer chocolate cake was very moist and will get again.

Yelp
We eat here weekly. It's fun eating in and seeing families and couples having fun together, or being home and gaming at the dinner table. yes, they got us back into gaming at home! The staff is warm and welcoming... and so very witty . Great place for nerds or nerds-in-training. Even Sheldon would approve. We always order large thin crust pizza. I cant even describe its uniqueness so thin and full of flavor. As a hint, we ask them to underbake it as it can come out a bit on the dry side If left for the full bake. To each his/her own! The jalepeño poppers are You have been warned!

Yelp
So much fun. Solid pizza. Great concept. Can't wait to come back. My whole family enjoyed our night
google avatar

Morgan W.

Yelp
It's a lot of food for what you get, they have a great game selection, although I wish they had a couple more copies of traditional games like monopoly or Risk. There's always a table available even when it's busy. The beer is fine. I like that they do have local selections, but I've noticed on both locations that the flavor is off; especially with the ciders.

Cheryl C.

Yelp
The pizza is delicious! They have games for you to play and lots of seating. It's a great place for a family pizza outing. The service was excellent.

Yelp
Great experience for my family, including a 2 and a 4 year old. We got cheese bread, a pepperoni pizza, and the churro donuts. All were delicious! Kids enjoyed looking at the game options but ultimately we played a classic - Candyland. I can see this being a fun place to go to for a long time as the kids age.

Yelp
Delicious food, friendly staff, tons of games. We love the unser location but this place is even bigger. Good choice of local draft beers. You order at the counter and the table delivery is quick. It's such a fun atmosphere and there are plenty of games to play

Yelp
This was a pizza find because our other choice closed early. It was a a good experience because the staff were friendly, the place clean and the pizza was good. We ate it there. I love fresh hot pizza. I ordered an ice tea. It was refreshing. Free refills too. I don't live here but my family knows about this place now, so will come back.

GayBeth B.

Yelp
Good pizza, needs a bit more cheese but nice combination of sauce and toppings. I got the pan but will try the thin crust next time and see how that is. Really nice restaurant with games to play, have to go there with a group to play sometime.

Andrew B.

Yelp
Conveniently located. Excellent place to meet up and game. Super friendly and helpful staff. Food is tasty, and the beer is cold. If you come in to play, please spend some money too. Only way this fun spot will stay open. Highly recommend.

Jan S.

Yelp
Great pizzas , salads, and sandwiches plus beer and a plethora of games you can play or buy! A great place to hang out with family and friends.
