First timer, I'll definitely return. Slice of the day was "Detroit style Tony Jack" square pan pizza which was fantastic. Crispy edges, light airy dough cooked thoroughly but not overcooked, with mildly spicy sauce and toppings. One slice and I was full. Dog Friendly patio with ample seating about the same size as the indoor seating. I took two other slice varieties home to share later with my wife. Priced reasonably for the quality of the food. Today April 23 was the official ribbon cutting ceremony with Folsom Mayor, Tony G and the new franchise owner in attendance, among others. I was here at lunchtime a few hours before the ceremony. I was able to have a quick chat with Tony G as he took a short break outside. With new franchises open and many in the works, opportunities for great pizza abound.

Great new pizza spot in Folsom. The pizza slices are very generous. Nice crispy bottom. Definitely not soggy New York style pizza... Plus Detroit style pizza with beautiful crunchy cheesy edges. They have Sicilian style pizza too but I haven't that one. Friendly helpful staff! The wait for a whole pizza was a little long but definitely worth the wait. The 20-in pizzas are huge!! If you have hungry teenagers at home, I definitely recommend this place.

My wife and I went to the slice house for the first time. We ordered a bunch of different slices , drinks, salad, and spumoni ice cream . We thoroughly enjoyed everything. My wife liked her salad so much, we ordered more for her work the next day. We ordered 2 large pizzas to go. My favorite is definitely the New york style, cheese pizza. It's basic , but the best pizza I've ever had ,

As a huge Pizza fan, not to mention Tony's in SF is my favorite pizza, I was not 100% satisfied with my visit. Granted they are new, I'll have to come back in a month or so to give them another try. The Hawaiian Hit Man was actually really good Detroit style, but was chewy. The Purple Potato was extremely chewy and hard, although I did like the toppings so I'll have to give it another try. Didn't taste fresh to me. If you want Tony's its worth the trip to SF and you will get Tony's . I wanted to give feedback while I was there however they were extremely busy during lunch time. I will be sure to come back and give it another review in a month or so. **Updated Review 1 Month Later on 4/23** Pizza was much better this time all around! I got 1 slice of the Detroit style Tony Jack which is my new favorite Detroit style by Tonys! It was amazing I will get this for sure next time. The crust was exceptionally fresh! I had to get back in line and get the Picante and it was super good and fresh! Best part of the experience was I ran into Tony G himself, Super Nice Guy! I will continue coming here hats off to the staff the have absolutely improved the freshness! I will be back

Google
We had 3 different slices. It was delicious. The crust on the 2 thicker slices is a different kind of crispy! It was our 2nd visit. The first time was a Saturday during lunch, so it was super busy. Might have to wait for a table inside but worth it.

Google
Went on a weekday during lunch time. Fast service if ordering by-the-slice. Tried their traditional and wise guy pizza slices - both delicious. Love the crust and sauce. Generous with the toppings as well. Didn't know the portion sizes were so huge! Worth the ~$6.50! The next time I visit, I'll be ordering just one slice. Definitely plan to visit again! Highly recommend! 5/5 slices!

Google
Since they opened about a month ago, I have been back over five times. The first time I popped in was during the soft opening. That visit and the following ones within the first week, were great. Pizzas had a great baked crusts even after the re-heat. Gorgeous looking slices, outstanding flavors for either dine in or take out. Five stars. But as the weeks have gone by, the slices are slacking. Over baked, less cheese, the sauce has lost its zing. They don’t quite taste the same. The past three times, the slices were over baked giving it a dry, tough texture. Aww. Sad. Because when they are done right, oooohhh it’s delicious!!! So they gotta work on the cooking consistency. My faves are the sweet Gino $6.60 a slice. It’s a focaccia style thick, square pizza crust. When it’s done right, the crust should be airy, dense with a soft chew, light crispness with great flavors. It should taste buttery with no oilness with beautiful hues of golden crust colors. Not brown. The sweet tomato sauce had a nice depth of flavor and balanced with drizzle of thick balsamic. The pizza had slices of mozzarella and garnished with strips of basil. They use slices of avorio and ovoline mozzarella. Quality stuff. Creamy melt. Sicilian Traditional slice- $6.60. It has pepperoni and sausage toppings on focaccia crust. Clean, classic flavors when the bake is done right. You can get a slice (average $7) or whole pie ($22-38) in various styles: New York, Grandma, Sicilian, and Detroit. They also have salads, pastas, and dessert options. The patio and inside dining area is tiny.

Google
This really pains me. Like so many I have been a fan of Tony’s in San Francisco for many many years. We have now been to the Bidwell restaurant on five separate occasions, and on two of those occasions the pizza was bloody awful. We have just picked up a Sicilian pie that had almost no tomato sauce on it. Toppings were fine. Crust was fine but very little tomato sauce so the flavor was lacking in a big way. Our expectations are always quite high when we go to the slice house because of their reputation and our experiences many times in San Francisco, but this branch in Folsom is dead to me.

Michael V.

Yelp
We tried the Detroit hot honey. Amazing pizza. Already my favorite pizza place. I'm going back to try all the different styles. Next up, the Sicilian.

Tawny W.

Yelp
Great Pizza! Very busy!! Not really anywhere to sit and ENJOY your meal...more of a take out atmosphere. They really need to build some restaurant space! Also REALLY REALLY wish they used coal fired pizza like the Original in North Beach - San Francisco.

Yelp
Born and raised on the East Coast. Have been in CA for 45 years and dont eat pizza because I don't like CA pizza. I tried this place and was over the moon excited because it was just like pizza back east! As I feared, it didn't last long, the pizza is taking on the CA style. Took some friends there last night and I was so embarrassed. I had raved about this pizza and they were excited to trback. There was far too much cheese and the crust just wasn't right. I won't be going bacm.

Isabelle B.

Yelp
Decided to try this place. Love new places opening up & always hope they last. I ordered a traditional slice More of a puffy square. So tasty & fluffy dough. Lord the pizza sauce too. I'll definitely go back. Service was okay but my pizza sliced delivered with a smile. I didn't eat there but will next time. I'll be back.

Yelp
I would love to give a 5 star but it's so hard to do when the experience keeps getting worse with this place. Moved to Folsom recently and found this place in my neighborhood. I love to try new places so I called the place to inquire if their pepperoni is all pork, all beef or mixed. Person on the phone placed me on hold and checked with their "chef", they advised it was ALL PORK. (important to note, I am Hindu and we don't eat beef as cows are sacred in my religion) I ate their pepperoni on several different pizzas for the past few months. Recently my cousin was visiting from TX and I told him we have a place for him to try, he was skeptical as many places carry mixed pepperoni so he said he would call and ask himself. He made a phone call, again we were placed on hold so the person on the phone could check with their "chef", this time around we were advised it's mixed with pork and beef. I couldn't believe it!!!! We waited few hours and called back to speak to another person and again were told it's mixed. I made a trip to the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager. I shared what took place and he was apologetic and stated he would get the team on the same page and make sure they are not giving out wrong information. I advised that I can get over it as it was an accident but that this can lead them to legal trouble as someone may want to sue them for eating beef. I shared my feedback, accepted his apology and went on my way. I came back today to grab couple different slices to try and the cashier was nice. Person who handed me my order, I asked her for 2 ranches. She stated "we charge for ranch but I'll give you 1". I asked for a second ranch and said I would pay for them both. I don't accept things out of petty or with an attitude. Never said I wouldn't pay for them but super annoying because I have never been told they charge in past visits. Again, this place is very inconsistent, no one is on the same page. Makes it hard as a consumer to respect a business like that. Today's pizza slices sucked, I have no idea what failed in that kitchen. It's always very hot in there, employees are sweating and it's just not a good time to sit there. We usually bring it home. Go say the least, I am definitely done going there for a while. Hopefully all this feedback will help get their staff in order.

Yelp
Slice House has been my favorite pizzeria in San Francisco for years, so I was super excited when I heard that the next location would be in Folsom. Slice House is famous for selling a wide variety of artisan pizzas by the slice-- not just cheese and pepperoni (except for at the baseball stadium location). My friend and I recently stopped by to try the Folsom shop out. I ordered two pieces of pizza-- the purple potato (which is similar to the Purple Haze from the Haight Ashbury location) and the Hawaiian (which I forgot the exact name of). They were both good, but not as good as the SF locations. The crust on the purple potato was a bit dry and overcooked. I was very disappointed in the drink selection. I wish they carried Italian canned lemonades, like A'Siciliana, or at least Pellegrino. Even better, Tony Gemignani could invent his own Italian lemonade drink. My friend didn't seem super impressed. I feel like, if you've only been to the Folsom location, you haven't really experienced Slice House yet. The SF location is better, but this place is still pretty good.

Yelp
Our first time here and won't be our last! I wanted to have my husband's birthday dinner here, and while they do not do reservations, the experience was great. The person who helped me over the phone was so kind and even called me back when I asked if he could double check about the no reservations policy. He did everything he could to help. He suggested that we preorder our pizzas for a large group so that's what we did. They were all delicious, and ready right on time when we came In. The patio seating is lovely and we were able to push tables together. We went early to avoid the rush on a Saturday and it all worked out great!

Yelp
Are you looking for pizza by the slice, or Detroit style pizza, or even a pizza with a different flavor profile? Then look no further because The Slice House is for you. This was the first trip for the hubster and I. The staff was friendly and accommodating and answered any questions we had. The delicious smells within made our heads swirl as we waited for our Detroit-style pizza and meatballs to go. There were ample tables inside and out for dining and a serve-yourself soda machine. Both of our orders were beyond yummy. The four stars is only representative of the price. It is a bit much compared to local places where you may get a salad included at the same cost. Will we dine here again...absolutely!

Leslie A.

Yelp
Not from the area, looking for something good for lunch and came across this place. Arrived shortly after opening and with several lunch spots in the area. This was the only place that was packed with construction workers. That's always a good sign. Those who know, eat here. Even with the line, the staff moved quick and efficiently. I ordered the Friday slice of the day (sorry, I don't remember the name of it) and my daughter got a slice of pepperoni and jalapeño. I knew as soon as I got it, I'd regret it. And I sure did. Heartburn for days. But totally worth it. I really liked the sauce on top of the thick slice. Fresh. Not dense. My daughter says we should make the hour drive back just for another slice. And I'm tempted.

Samantha P.

Yelp
The pizza is phenomenal. The flavors are amazing. The only reason I give it a 4 is because the prices are fairly high but with the economy, it makes sense, just sucks. Also, their fresh ranch is DELICIOUS!

Alex H.

Yelp
Pizzas, pastas & salads. Plenty of options for all. Really cool concept & execution! Food: 5/5 Special Detroit style: 5/5 love the char on this pizza with the crunch being amazing. There was a lot going on in this pizza but it was great! Slice of cheese: 5/5 a classic cheese with chewy dough & just the right amount of sauce. Chocolate cookie: 3/5 underwhelming compared to the pizza. Service: 5/5 They were helpful when choosing the pies & gave recommendations. They did forget one of my items but it happens & were quick to get it out to me. Ambiance: Modern inside with helpful employees. Outdoor seating available. Really enjoyed the dough on the pizzas. They have every type of pizza here for any pizza snob out there. Definitely will be back when in the area.

Yelp
Great selection of pizzas to choose from and they offer NY style and Detroit. We rarely get pizza since I can't have dairy but they had a great vegan cheese option. My husband got the slice of traditional Detroit which had pepperoni and sausage. Pretty good but could have had a few more toppings. My daughter had NY cheese slice which was really good. Definitely pricey for a cheese slice. I think it was $6.35 when for 40 cents more you could get one with toppings. I had to special order mine which was the medium hot honey which was sausage, pepperoni and hot honey sauce. I added black olive and got vegan cheese. I think it is slightly cheaper to order the medium traditional and get a side of hot honey. They got honey flavor was very subtle but gave a nice sweetness to the salty meats. Super good! If you are ordering slices and whole pizzas they will definitely come out at different times (which we expected) but I think the kitchen gets confused too. When our slices came up the server asked if that was everything, which we were obviously missing the whole pizza. I heard another table with similar situation get part of their order and when the person mentioned the slice of pizza the server asked what kind it was. So I don't think tickets are being thoroughly reviewed and crossed off. Otherwise everything was really delicious!!

Laura A.

Yelp
Delicious pizza by the slice, convenient parking, just go - you won't regret it! We tried Wise Guy which has the most perfect and crispy thin crust. Slices are large and filling. Sauced just right with a rich, deep Tomatoe flavor, not sloppy. I usually don't like tomatoe sauce on my pizza and prefer white sauce but this sauce was the best I've ever had.

Bryan N.

Yelp
I've heard a few recommendations about this place so I had to give it a try. First off, the pizza is good. No doubt about that. A few different types of pizza and great ingredients. If you get pizza by the slice, you should be good to go. I think the problem may be the service. There is a lot going on in the shop and the pizzas come out slow if you are ordering a whole pizza. I saw several occasions during my short time in shop where customers were waiting up to an hour and a half for a pizza they've ordered. Some visibly upset. And based on some of these reviews I've been reading, this may be a common occurrence. I understand that this is a new business and there may be some growing pains, but the way the area is growing, it's only going to get busier. They'll have to figure it out somehow. *I personally did not have any issues

Celina V.

Yelp
Was excited to check this spot out! Definitely need more pizza by the slice spots. I can see this spot being packed since it's pretty small inside. I decided to go with the Detroit style Tony Jack slice. My friend got the traditional slice. They heat up the slices and call your name when it's ready. It came out nice, hot & crispy. I really liked the texture. Greasy but it had a nice bite. It's a little pricey for just one slice. But I still would come back to try more!

Christopher K.

Yelp
Great pizza, but WTH, what an awful experience! I walked in at 6:30pm and the display shelf has only 3 partial pizzas. Okay, wheres the rest? Theres 15 employees in the business but it seems like theres only 1 cook. So buyer beware, maybe you won't be able to get the pizza you want. Anyway, I pick some slices from whats there and add a side salad on my To-Go order. (The wife is waiting patiently at home and asked for some pizza for dinner.). The pizzas get heated and come out quickly. A long line of customers and I are bunching up on the sidelines waiting for our orders. The order screen is flashing with tons of pending orders. 30 mins later! Maybe more... I finally get the small side salad. (I asked about it several times). By then, the pizza is cold, stale, and the appetite is ruined. The wife was upset, my stomach was upset, and man this was the 3rd botched order from here. Yes, I been here 3x already and maybe that was 3 too many. (1) First time, Got the wrong slices, (2) Next time, got 1 less slice than ordered , and (3) Lastly, the side salad fiasco. Love the pizza. Been absolutely hating the experience.

Eliza G.

Yelp
New pizza spot in Folsom! It was pretty busy around 5pm on a weekday, but the line moves quickly. To order a slice, you pick what's available in the display up front, otherwise I think you need to order a whole pie of it. When your food is ready, staff comes out and tries to find you and yells out your name. Maybe they're still figuring that part out since they just opened a few days ago. Seating inside is limited, but there is outdoor seating too, which will definitely be nice when it's warmer out. I tried the Traditional Sicilian. I thought it was really good! The pepperoni was tasty, and I love a good crisp crunch to the underside of a slice. It cost $7 for just that one slice, so I'd be upset if I didn't really like it. But I liked it and I would get it again! Next time, I hope they have a Grandma slice I want to try. Parking wasn't easy even though there's a parking lot. I'm sure it'll get better when the rest of the construction is complete to open more spots.

Connor K.

Yelp
*Update 2/14* We returned to use the free pizza cards received from our previous trip. After coming in twice, and noticing many, MANY issues with correct orders / service while sitting in, we think it's smart to give this place some time to get ahold of their operations before coming back. Our order, the Traditional (focaccia style crust) and the purple potato slices were brought out with two traditional slices instead. A couple that was ordering was given our incorrect slice, and then they sat next to us and their order was messed up too, involving yet another extra slice for the same couple. We are unsure why orders consistently get messed up / out of stock of items but until the operation is smoother I don't see us coming back. Just too much trouble at this point. Traditional 4/5 (crust needs flavor) Purple potato 4/5 (needs something more, is a bit boring) We will be back eventually, but they have to get their operation fixed first.

John A.

Yelp
I've been told this is THEE spot for a slice pizza. First off, I'm a HUGE cheese pizza lover, but their cheese pizza is meh. Nothing great! Just a big slice of cheese and blandness, super over oily for no reason. Although, that sweet Gino was the BEST!!! Omg! Just the perfect crispiness, cheese was so good and the pizza sauce was amazing! I high recommend the sweet Gino! The staff was great and the vibes in there was nice. This is a good spot!

Selina E.

Yelp
I got the Chicago style "Popeye" and my husband got a slice of the traditional (pepperoni and sausage) The popeye has a cheese skirt that makes it! The butter crust was delicious and I was really wishing there was more ricotta on the slice. Overall the slices are generous and not bad for a quick tasty lunch. We don't venture on that side of Folsom much but I'm glad there are some options for the residents there. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was casual. The happy hour will bring us back! $2 slices with the purchase of a draft... cheers!

Faye M.

Yelp
Ordered the $35 20" pep pizza and Cesar salad because balance (DoorDash pickup). While I was tossing the dressing into the salad I found several pieces of lettuce that left me wondering if they wash their lettuce? Rendered this $10 salad inedible by most basic standards so straight to the trash because Im not going to risk having to take a sick day. I'm also preggers so definitely a no go and therefore the 2 stars. Pizza's crust and bread is why we had become patrons; may be a mistake for them to be offering salads.

Trev K.

Yelp
Slice house is a local restaurant, brainchild of famous pizzaolio Tony gemignani, slice house offers many different types of pizza, by the slice or a whole pie. Different types of crust, from a grandma pie to Detroit, New York style pizza too of course. Not much room to eat inside but it's a really good place to grab high quality pizza

Yelp
The place had good business amount of customers. By the slice or 12 inch isn't very cost effective but buying the 20 inch pizza you by far get the most pizza for your buck. Some coworkers were raving about it so I decided to give it a try, it was all right, I've had better pizza especially in the flavors I ordered. It wasn't as soft as I was expecting it to be. I should have tried more than my two (half size) slices maybe some of the veggie ones would have been better.

John C.

Yelp
Slice House in Folsom is an absolute gem! I made the long trek out there, and it was worth every mile. The pizza is simply ridiculous, and their beer section is incredibly impressive. The prices are reasonable for what you get, making it a highly recommended spot.

Serena M.

Yelp
Finally got to try Slice House and it did not disappoint! We love Tony's Pizza Napoletana in San Francisco, so we were stoked to hear Tony was opening a pizza place in the Sacramento area. The pizza was amazing as expected and we love that there's so many different pizza styles! We got the Red Top (Detroit style with cheese), the Webb's Double Sausage (Detroit style with pepperoni and Italian sausage), and NY style cheese and pepperoni. You immediately smell the delicious pizza when you enter the restaurant. Staff was very nice and helpful. Cant wait to go back!

Navreet G.

Yelp
yuuuum! I love Tony's Pizza in SF, so glad to have a location out here! The service is quick and friendly! We got slices of pepperoni and cheese, definitely did not disappoint! Can't wait to come back.

Lillian W.

Yelp
I'm updating my review. I was initially head over heels with the pizza. From the soft opening through the first week, the pizza was delicious... great bake on the crust, nice amount of sauce and fixings, served warm. But my past two orders in the past several weeks have gotten noticeably different. Different as in over baked crust, dried out bottoms. Just doesn't taste the same. Disappointing, especially since I know how good the pizza can be when it's done right.

Carrie S.

Yelp
Decided to venture out of Lodi to taste the deliciousness of Slice House. As soon as I told my friends about the new pizza place with the same owners of Pizza Rock in Sacramento, there was no question that we needed to make the trip. The restaurant was extremely busy as we expected, we only had to wait 20 to 30 minutes for our pizza pies. The customer service was superior and even though the restaurant appeared a little bit small with the indoor seating, the evening was perfect to eat out on the patio as we watched the sunset. We will definitely be back! Our pies were cooked to perfection...so tasty!

Lydia A.

Yelp
These pizzas were so good! I can't wait to order it again and try more of the menu. The place was packed so we didn't stay to eat, but I see myself working a pitstop into future Costco runs because we just loved it!

Toni R.

Yelp
I recently visited Slice House by Tony Gemignani with high hopes for a delicious vegan pizza experience, but sadly, it fell short. Despite ordering a 12-inch pizza with vegan cheese, gluten-free crust, pineapple, and vegan pepperoni, the end result was far from satisfying. Firstly, the vegan pizza was not great. The crust, despite being gluten-free, lacked the texture and flavor I expected. The toppings, including the pineapple and vegan pepperoni, failed to elevate the overall taste of the pizza. To make matters worse, the pizza was burnt, imparting an unpleasant charred flavor. To add insult to injury, I was charged $3 for each modification, significantly increasing the total cost. At $38 for a 12-inch pie that resembled the thickness of a tortilla and was burnt, the value for money was simply not there. My experience at Slice House was disappointing. Despite the promising menu options for vegans, the execution, pricing, and burnt quality of the pizza left much to be desired.

john h.

Yelp
I love the Slice House, I have been to the ones in San Francisco and Belmont, and this one tastes just as good. I was able to try to try a slice of their Detroit crust of the day, the "Hawaiian Hit Man", although it had pineapple on it, the crust was outstanding, thick but not overly dense, as good as I have had in California, but not as good as Buddy's in Detroit. The line moved quickly, but it was steady, about 5-10 people in line consistently. There is not a ton of seating here, but they rotate people through fairly quickly, you can really only eat like 2 slices maximum, then you bounce. They had a nice variety of beers and ciders.

Nathan P.

Yelp
I love pizza I am willing to drive a fair distance for a good pie but for this place I would drive hours. Very impressed with their by the slice and even more so with their fresh pie. I can't wait to tell people about this place. If you go here PLEASE ask for the hot oil and poor it on everything. It complimented the pizza so well and is an absolut

Helen H.

Yelp
We came here on a Saturday and both got the slice of the day. I got the New York style purple potato and my bf got the Detroit style motorhead. I prefer NY style because it is thin. I enjoyed the slice overall, especially the bacon. I wished I could taste the potato more though. I also got a chocolate chip cookie. I didn't care for it. The edges were crispy and the rest was overly chewy. It's a bit small inside, but there are some tables outside.

Wanda G.

Yelp
Something new and good in the neighborhood! Pizza slices! I think they've only been open a couple of weeks! It's in Folsom, but on the quiet side of the freeway in a brand new little shopping center. Everything is fresh and new and there's lots of parking. The shop is really nice inside and they also have a big outdoor area. LOTS of choices on both thick and thin slices! All ready to go!! No waiting. Love that concept. You can also get a whole pizza, pasta, meatballs and more. We tried a thick slice and a thin slice. Both were great. The pepperoni is spicy but delicious. The crust is great. Friendly employees and fast service - doesn't get better than that. Check it out!

C P.

Yelp
I ordered the Saturday Detroit Slice of the Day, the Motörhead. It was like eating an airy piece of foccasia bread with the only discernible topping being two pearl size balls of ricotta. None of the other toppings were present. No meat, no white cheddar cheese. There was a dollop of tomato sauce. It was quite literally the worst piece of pizza I've ever eaten. 0 out of 10. Won't be back.

Loredo L.

Yelp
After reading the positive reviews I thought I would check this place out. The place is in the new part of Folsom south of US 50. The place is a little on the small side with limited seating so I imagine a lot of the business will be takeout. There was a good amount of prepared pizzas from which to order slices for dining in or takeout. I ordered a few pieces and chocolate chip cookies to go. At about $6 a slice the pizzas are pricey. I got the Detroit style Hawaiian pizza which was truly amazing especially with cheese melted and hardened into the crust - yummy! The toppings were sparse but overall the taste was on point. Next time I will take the family to dine in or order a full pizza to go.

Yelp
Best pizza I have had in a long time rivals Tony's in San Francisco and as it turns out it is his restaurant. My be favorite was the wise guy. The crust was exceptional with a nice crispy bottom it tasted like a very high quality bread. The down side was the management occupied one of the tables with almost a defiant attitude to the many looking for a table.

Yelp
I couldn't be happier to have Slice House in Folsom. Great service & atmosphere. The pizza is incredible, by the slice or the whole thing.. "Respect the Craft" Thank you,

Yelp
Been here twice so far, the first time it was by far the best pizza I'd ever had in Folsom and in the Sacramento area since Hot Italian closed. The second time....uhh....what the heck happened? It was like they were so busy they decided to push out the pizzas as quickly as possible. The dough wasn't cooked all the way through and was soggy, there was way way way too much sauce and it had a different kind of taste. I tried reheating it in the oven at home, but no matter what, the dough remained soggy. It's like they have too many pizzas they are trying to make that they never let the oven get up to temperature again, I think that is there largest mistake. The second mistake is that they aren't consistent; on our second visit here there was WAY WAY WAY (I mean WAY) too much sauce. The pizza here is by no means cheap, but I was willing to pay extra because the other options in Folsom are extremely low quality. I ended up throwing out half of the over $200 order because it just didn't taste good at all. They need to move to a larger location or something, I mean, it was definitely a quantity of pizzas sold over quality of pizzas sold motivation they seemed to have. You can't order online. Their phone sometimes works and sometimes doesn't (one time I called back 10 times, waiting a few minutes each time), and never got through again. The location is very small, so they seem like they need to expand or have some different system for people ordering to-go, versus dine in. I feel like they need to temporarily close or something so that they can get consistency back in line. They were my favorite pizza restaurant when I first went there, now I really don't see myself trying them again especially for how expensive they are, and the terrible location (all the way in south Folsom). Until I hear they revamp or move locations, I don't see myself visiting this restaurant anytime soon. It isn't worth the money and lack of consistency.

Yelp
Best pizza I've had in a long long time! Only setback is it's a small place with big business. The staff is very friendly even with the tremendous amount of customers all around.

Yelp
The Pizza is very good and is not your normal pizza, it is fantastic and more gourmet. I recommend "the Rosa" although they only make The Rosa on Sundays : ( Don't let the young kids (still in training) fool you at the front taking your order, there is always someone more responsible listening and will correct an incorrect answer : ) I really like this place. They also have patio dinning so you could let the kids play or even bring a dog along. Inside dinning is limited but nice! Truly appears many order to go any way. I could see parking becoming an issue once the other business in the complex open up for business. The parking lot is always full just for the "Slice House".

Yelp
What a great addition to the Folsom area. Came here opening week and have been in twice since then. The pizza is fantastic, and there's a great selection to choose from. We've ordered several individual slices and have ordered whole pies as well. Can't go wrong with a classic pepperoni. The kitchen seemed a bit chaotic the first time in, yet understandable as a new business just starting. They're getting their bearings. The staff are friendly and accommodating. There's limited seating inside but there's a great outside patio area. One suggestion is that they roll out some heating lamps for the colder days. Definitely plan on coming in on a regular basis.

Yelp
We tried a few slices there and shared the house salad while we waited for the large pie to go. The food was amazing, the giant pizza to go was pretty greasy but it was covered in tons of pepperoni and sausage and cheese so what did I expect? The dressing on the salad was super yummy and all the slices in the window looked enticing, it was hard to choose. The two working at the counter were nice enough but a little clueless in directing me after I explained it was my first time here, I too was clueless where to stand or sit or go, this also to be expected with me. I'll be back and next time I'll just order a buffet of different slices.

Yelp
My husband and I ordered a Sicilian and a cheese pizza, they were both super tasty. The crust was so crispy and tasty and the sauce to cheese ratio was perfect. We also got an order of the sweet & spicy Italian sausage w/ honey and gemelo pasta with vodka cream sauce, both of which were tasty especially when they were combined! Their beer and wine menu was pretty good, we washed our meal down with some tasty beer. Oh and forgot to mention that their pizza menu is somewhat extensive, with several classics and many unique pies too! It was a comfy, casual with both indoor and outside seating. Overall we had a wonderful experience. The staff that helped us were so kind and fun to chat with. 10/10 would recommend and will be returning! p.s. sorry the picture is mehh, was so excited to eat that I forgot to take a pic before...

Yelp
As an old-time, tony's Slice House fan from the Bay Area, where we discovered it at the baseball stadium, one of the things I knew we would miss when we moved out to the Roseville area this last summer. When we heard that a franchise was opening at the beginning of this year in Folsom, we were thrilled; no having to go back to the Bay Area for our slice of Tony's pizza New York style. Unfortunately, when we went to the first few weeks after the opening, the quality was just not there. I felt badly having to write a bad review about this Slice being burnt and the pizza being dried out. evidently, somebody took my bad review to heart and made it right and I'm pleased to say, we gave it another shot this last weekend and it was right up to Slice House standards! The slice was moist, the crust was just right, and we were so pleased from our Slice, that I brought home a large size Paisano. I've been enjoying it for dinner almost every night this week. Congratulations and welcome to the area, Tony Slice House pizza we will come back. Thank you for maintaining the high-quality that Tony Gemignani's Slice House pizza is noted for. It is definitely now worth it to make the 16 mile drive for our Slice. George and Jan Shorago

Yelp
I had incredible pizza here. The Rosa Detroit slice is my favorite. The buttered crust is like eating dessert. I also tried the Classic NY Style slice and it was tasty too. I'll be back until I try them all!

Yelp
It's the best pizza I've ever had. We bought some random slices before ordering a couple of pizzas to take home to the family. My favorite was the cheese pizza. Now I know what pizza is supposed to taste like. Definitely go.
