"September 11: Insert {Chef} Here quesabirria pop-up From 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the former Sloco space on 12 South, Insert Chef Here is an experiment by longtime Nashville chef Jeremy Barlow (formerly of tayst, Sloco, and The Meet Room). Following the ‘we work’ model for shared space ICH is a place for chefs to pop up for single events or for a short residency to showcase what they can do, experiment with a brick-and-mortar space, or just get back in the game for fun. Up next is Barlow’s own take on the new taco craze, quesabirria. Its a taco meets quesadilla meets delicious mexican consomme for dipping. Beef, pork, and chicken available. To-go beer is also available. Covid to-go measures will be in effect, so the owner requests guests to please wear masks when not eating or drinking." - Delia Jo Ramsey

Great lunch spot with fresh local ingredients. They are sustainable and try their best to use all of an animal that they can to reduce waste. The chicken pesto sandwich is amazing. The goat cheese adds just the right amount of creamy moisture. Service is friendly, and I got my food quickly for a busy lunch hour in a hip part of town.

I don't necessarily think "sandwiches" when I'm out and about on vacation. However, we received a recommendation from my wife's cousin who lives down the street so we decided to stop by for a quick bite and I'm so glad we did! She ordered the Cuban and I ordered the Vegan Meatball Sub. I couldn't believe how delicious the vegan sub was! My wife's cousin was so impressed by it that he said he would order it next time he was in. Make sure to sit in The Meet Room to enjoy a few local beers on tap or enjoy a glass of wine! Also, the service was fantastic and the beer recommendations were spot on!

Staff was great! They mixed up my order but were able to remake my sandwich quickly, I recommend the Cuban.

Best sandwich shop in Nashville! I love supporting our hometown shops and local farms. I've been here many times before this review. Always fantastic, always satisfied. The owner and staff are warm and friendly. Ask them what they like on the menu and you'll always get an honest answer. I'm a big fan of this place. I've had the brisket numerous times and it tastes better every time. I also really enjoy and recommend the Cordon Bleu, the Redneck Reuben, and the Pastrami. Give it a go, you won't regret it!

Staff was nice. Bread was good. But we didn't like the pastrami sandwich at all. We didn't even eat them. With a Reuben or Pastrami, I expected thinly sliced, layered meat on rye. I don't want to complain-just want to warn others to ask questions to know what you're getting. I suspect from the reviews here that other items may be delicious.

This is more than a restaurant; it's a mission to make the world a better, simpler place. Wonderful, genuine, happy cooks will serve you the best bread you've ever had, made from their own hands. I loved it so much I bought a tank, and I certainly have enough tank tops. We're visiting from NOLA, so you know we know good food. :)

Best sandwich in Nashville! All meat and produce is sourced from local farmers and they make EVERYTHING in house! Staff is friendly and fun! The special sandwich of the day is always amazing! Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free friendly!

Organic green tea and a fresh breakfast sandwich was perfect for me. The bread was baking right behind the counter. A bit pricey, but that's what you get when eating sustainable and local, which wasn't a problem with me. The general set up could be a bit more organized for seating.
