"As the in-house restaurant and bar of Gravity Haus — a cool collection of community-forward base camps in multiple mountain towns — Slope Room serves up breakfast, lunch, après ski, and dinner, focused on sustainable protein and produce sourced from Rocky Mountain farmers and ranchers. The sleek, modern steakhouse, just off the lobby, tips its hat to the spirit of the Old West, including a lively lounge that mixes up killer cocktails." - Katie Shapiro

"The first thing you’ll notice when you walk into Slope Room is a massive photo of a bear bellying up to a bar. The whole western-mountain-contemporary aesthetic of the image is similar to the vibe of the restaurant, except you probably won’t run into any grizzlies here. Grab an indigo velvet booth and order a center-cut filet with Yukon Gold puree alongside a ramekin of whiskey au poivre sauce. The bar is also good if you just want to hang out, snack on some focaccia and Hamachi crudo, and warm up with a Japanese whiskey cocktail." - Kim Fuller

Google
Great breakfast and solid service. Their breakfast burrito was a winner, thanks to the avocado sauce that was served with the wrap. Their espresso was also great, and their strawberry banana smoothie was nicely blended. The side of potatoes we ordered was a huge portion, and the sides of sausages were well cooked and seasoned. Their hot tea was also great. Great little eatery inside Gravity Haus.

A lot of people who are not locals don’t know that this is actually also a coffee shop with an extensive menu of great coffee choices. Service was great, and the coffee was great. nothing to complain about.

Google
This place is GREAT! Especially for a birthday or special occasion. Honestly at first I was skeptical, but the food is delicious and our server, Joshua was extremely knowleagble of the food, professional and nice. He was able to actually recommend very tasty food to our liking. Food and Service from, Joshua B get 10/10. The atmosphere is very classy. Overall a wonderful experience, and would recommend it to anyone in town. Thank you Josh!

The cornbread here is next level. Make sure you order it! Also the Brussels Sprouts are great, even if you don’t like them.

The restraunt is located inside the hotel which is nice. We were a group of ten. We had drinks and appetizers. I feel like we had great service when we first got there then it got busy and we were on our own. I had to leave our table to find someone to bring salt and pepper. This is an expensive restaurant and the food was good not great. They boast about their steak but it is bland with no seasoning and not sure if they have a new person grilling steaks but they are not cooked properly. We asked for med and it was rare. Someone at our table asked for well done it was medium. We had to send it back 3 times. The waiter should have stood there when she cut through it the first time it was sent back. Instead we waited till he served others on the other side of the restaurant. He did take care of it at the end but this shouldn’t happen for an $78 steak. I don’t think I would spend the money here. There are so many good restaurants in Vail.

Food was 11/10. Sincerely incredible. If you are in vail it is an absolute MUST visit. Although slightly expensive side, you taste what you pay for

The Slope Room offers an incredible dining experience! From the amazing drinks to the perfectly prepared dishes like the delicious trout and sweet potato fries, everything was top-notch. The service was fast and attentive—our waiter even turned down the fireplace when we mentioned we were a bit warm, which added to the comfort of the evening. Fine dining with a personal touch. Highly recommend!

Yelp
The best restaurant we ate at in Vail. The food was so good we ate there twice- once at a table, and once at the bar. Both cases the food and service were excellent. The room is beautiful with a nice warm feeling. All the choices (there were 4 of us) were top notch. The best was the bison steak which is big enough to share, and the pasta with lamb rags. Great appetizers especially the scallops with grits. Desserts were all excellent and almost forgot the cocktails were great. This restaurant could be in a major foodie city and compete. I'm not sure how you cannot give 5 stars- great food, great service, lovely atmosphere. Go!

Yelp
Short: A beautiful, delicious, classic hallmark Vail spot. You'll definitely pay the price but won't be disappointed in the food quality. Love that they offer mock-tails! Long: 1) Service was great. Josh was very kind and explained menu items well. I think he got pulled in a few directions since they seemed to be short staffed for pre-season. There were no trash cans at the entrance, so my partner was stuck bringing in a red bull can he hadn't yet finished. Not something that was preferred in a nice(r) restaurant but we were hoping the server would have been able to take it at some point. Instead we were awkwardly approached with a glass of ice and a short "we don't allow outside drinks, here's a glass and I'll take your can" which was fine but incredibly awkward. 2) Ambiance was nice, the tables are a bit long to allow for the plate space but puts you a little far from someone across from you. It was pretty chilly, so bring a light sweater if you don't want to wear your coat. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of a coat check. If there is one, we were not offered it. Bathrooms are beautiful and offer soft towels for hand drying. 3) Food was very good. Surprisingly the $18 cornbread was in-fact worth $18. The butter is to die for and was an amazing breakfast in the morning. They pretty much served us a loaf of cornbread. Way more than we needed. We also had the steak tartare and that was very visually pleasing to accompany the great texture and taste. One of the better steak tartare's I've had. My partner had the pork chop which was ok, not mind blowing. The Brussel sprouts were cooked very well. The Mac and cheese is a MUST HAVE. I had the Lamb Ragu which was good but nothing to write home about. 4) Mock-tails - I was pleased to see these offered with some new types of alcohol-free alternatives. The "No-groni" is not worth it but the Raspberry Club is a MUST. So great.

Yelp
We were really excited to try this restaurant. The food was good, but not quite what we were expecting. However the service was incredible. From our amazing waitress that was very knowledgeable and informative to the manager who quickly handled a concern we had. I would definitely give this restaurant another chance. The menu has many great options. I love that they have a pasta dish (which looks incredible), meat and vegetable options.

Jenn G.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic food, and the ambiance was beautiful. The service was good, but the waiter as getting a little annoyed with us. It's one of the best meals we had in Vail. Absolutely loved it.

Gina K.

Yelp
Amazing!!! Worth every penny! We came here for my husband birthday. Didn't know it before we sat down but, they comped our dessert or a cocktail if he did t want dessert for his birthday. The appetizers were the best part of the meal. We got the focaccia bread with burrata, pork Kelley lettuce wraps and winter squash soup. All were amazing and filling so much so that were could have split an entree. We ended up ordering entrees before our apps came so we each got one - short rib and pork chop. The short rib was better. I didn't car for the sweet bbq like sauce that was over the pork chop. They provided a baked Alaska for my husband's birthday dessert. It is quite expensive of a restaurant but most of the restaurant in Vail are. If you're looking for a nice dinner and don't mind paying a bit more it's worth it.

Kasia W.

Yelp
The vibes were we were sat by the fireplace and it was so so pretty, loved how quiet and classy it was The service was phenomenal, my water didn't get below 3/4 full at any point All the food was delicious but my favorite was the hamachi appetizer Didn't take photos of the dessert but the butterscotch ice cream was amazing, vanilla was okay (nothing special) My only critique is that our cappuccinos tastes sour which really threw me off.

Alysea J.

Yelp
Really nice, upscale establishment with food that matches the ambiance! I really liked this spot. My partner enjoyed his steak as well. Parking is nearby but it's a nice walk outdoors. Service here was excellent too, I wish I remembered our server's name (sexy lumberjack vibe). I would definitely come back here for a nice dinner in Vail!

Annie S.

Yelp
Wow! Compliments to the chef! Everything we tried full of flavor and with superb presentation. Well knowledgeably Staff and warm ambiance. Excellent choice of wine . Very family friendly with selection of kids meals. Do try their cod on bed of potatoes . I'd come back just for that!

Amy M.

Yelp
The food and atmosphere here were amazing. Easily our favorite meal while in Vail. Our server, Jimmy, was FANTASTIC!

Jamie B.

Yelp
My husband and I came here for a decadent date night and it did not disappoint. We started with apps, the pork belly and the house made focaccia bread -- both were DIVINE. The service was also great, and the atmosphere was quiet, sophisticated, and the decor was gorgeous. For our entrees, we each got steak and we split some sides. We decided to do the flight of steak butters -- highly recommend a try, just once, for fun.

Yelp
I am writing regarding their membership. I had a one year membership and they continued to charge me for two years! Even though i cancelled the membership after a year. they were sending emails to an account that wasn't mine. Now they are refusing to refund me. That is fraud! I have asked for my signature on my contract and they haven't even sent that. Why can businesses not just do the right thing!

Jerry O.

Yelp
Back again - no reservation needed for off season in early October. Another great dinner. Great kitchen here and exciting menu. Highly recommended! Check out a few photos I snapped.

Amy G.

Yelp
Had a lovely dinner here. The food was tasty although expect small portion sizes. I was going the chicken dish would have more gnocchi but there were less than a dozen pieces of it. Still both the chicken and pork chop were very flavorful and they had a great whiskey selection. We made a reservation but were told the bar was the only available seating. This was surprising given the restaurant appeared to be half empty. However the bar seating was pretty comfortable and attentive. Given the prices and crowds of Vail, I would go back here again however, if this was in Denver it would be a one and done

Vicki G.

Yelp
Don't go for the food. Only go for the cocktails and the ambiance. The food is NOT good and certainly not worth the prices. I've been only a couple/few times, but always leave disappointed in the quality and taste of the food. Just meh. Maybe even worse than meh. The space is beautiful and the drinks are good. Sigh.

Laura M.

Yelp
We made a reservation the morning of on open table for later that Thursday evening. This was my second time eating here - the food, and the service, are always spot-on. While the restaurant was pretty full, the lighting and separation between tables/booths creates a very intimate and cozy feeling. Our server was great and made drink and food recommendations that were spot on. I'm slowly getting better about eating beets - and can say this dish with the ricotta and walnuts was delicious (and made me want to eat more beets). The pork chop I had was amazing as well. Highly recommend if you're in the area, looking for a nice dinner and great cocktails!

Kristina S.

Yelp
This place is overpriced. I've gotten food poisoning here on a busy night. For the price, you'd be better off going to Sweet Basil or La Tour. However it has less traffic than the restaurants in Vail Village so you might get a spot at the bar if it's busy in Vail. Instead of this place, I'd go to The Fitz at Manor Vail or Vista at Arrowhead. Both delicious and less expensive than Slope Room.

Erica M.

Yelp
#1, this restaurant fully passes the vibe check. Beautiful plush booths, rich colors and the chandeliers are fun to gaze at. #2, the service is impeccable. The staff is super attentive, chatty (if you want to be), and it probably helped that we were there super early to eat, but as the place got busier the service didn't change... #3 the food and drinks are top notch. Great selection of craft cocktails and wine list as well. We split a ribeye, had the au poivre sauce and food gras butter and both sides were amazing. The mashed potatoes are super airy and flavor is rich. I finished with a cappuccino and the espresso quality is worth the drink. It was like 6:00 when we finished dinner so I didn't mind the risk of caffeine before we headed out to a show. ;). I won't pass up Slope next time we are in Vail!!!

Carrie K.

Yelp
Perfect meal in Vail! Fantastic service and loved the ambience of the restaurant. Really cozy and comfortable velvet booths. My husband had the Elk which he thought was cooked perfectly. I had the trout and it was equally delicious and we shared the tomato watermelon salad which was also tasty. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Perfect place for a special occasion or simply a nice night out in the area! We had a wonderful New Year's Eve tasting dinner as a party of 4. The food itself is great, as are the drinks. One particular drink I LOVE is a clear martini-like concoction with a coffee foam on top. I can't remember what it's called lol! I had 2 of those because it's a phenomenal drink--cheers to the bartender! The servers are nice, and overall much more attentive than the average server in the Vail area. However, for a tasting menu, we all expected to be taken on a whimsical culinary journey. That is... we expected to be told what we were eating, even if it was just a few words. Most of the time, they would set the plates down in front of us in a harsh enough fashion that made items roll and move on the plates. Additionally, the restaurant was medium volume--not super rowdy like a bar during the superbowl, but not stuffy quiet where you hear nothing but silverware clinking. That being said, our table had a stupendous time celebrating not only the impending new year, but also being away from our children for a few hours. Apparently, we were too loud for a patron who complained because there were children in the restaurant (To be perfectly honest, we only saw ONE child in the entire restaurant). Understandably so, but the offended party could've come directly to us if they had an issue with what we were saying or the volume we were saying it. I must say, the restaurant handled it the best way they could, and didn't inform us of our faux pa until we received the check. By then, we were happy to leave! However, there was another large party that had a dog literally at the dinner table (not on the ground, at the actual table!) the entire night. We didn't see anyone complain of that... which I thought was a bit odd, considering the possible health violations with food around. To each their own!

Shirin L.

Yelp
It's a really nice place for a fancy dinner and they do a good job of accommodating different group sizes. We were 13 of us in our group and they had made really nice arrangements to get us a good size table where we could all sit comfortably. The food wasn't all that and their servings are rather small. We ordered a few appetizers and an entree for each person and yet everyone was hungry. They are also very pricey so make sure to see their menu ahead of time. The biggest disappointment was that they didn't have their filet mignon, which is what most of us were looking forward to order. Their lightings aren't the greatest to take family pics. The hostess in the front was very friendly, however, our server didn't seem very interested to have much of a conversation.

Sonia K.

Yelp
Slope Room was phenomenal. The staff were very kind and the food tastes amazing. A note is we had to wait about 20 minutes, although we had a reservation and saw the table they seated us at empty. Also, the menu was small, but mighty. We were pleased with the options. The food was spectacular and if we were hungry we would have ordered more. I highly recommend the pasta, sweet potato soup, and the brussel sprouts!

Sienna P.

Yelp
We popped into the slope room to have a quick bite after a long day of travel and it did not disappoint! We ordered a few of the smaller plates and shared because it was too hard to decide on what to order. Josh was an amazing server with lots of suggestions for us!! We order the sizzling wagu beef which you cook yourself on a hot stone at the table, garlic shrimp served on sourdough, crispy Brussels with charred lemon, and a sunflower kale Cesar salad. They even own their own coffee field in Ethiopia where they grow their own beans and then roast them locally in CO! Overall fantastic experience and we'll be back when visiting Vail.

Denise T.

Yelp
I heard this place had incredible food so I was excited when a friend planned dinner for our group while staying in Vail. The menu is pricey which we obviously knew going in to dinner, so that was expected. They have a 3 course pre-fixe dinner which is only really good if you want dessert. We aren't huge dessert people so we ordered off the basic menu. We started with the shrimp appetizer which was the highlight of the meal for me. Large shrimp over sourdough bread in a garlic scampi butter sauce. It was truly an amazing appetizer. The drinks were so so. The extra dirty martinis didn't have hardly any olive juice in them. When ordering a second round, we had to ask to make them dirtier and then they arrived in smaller glasses. The elote old fashioned had a charred to pretty much burnt slice of corn on the cob in it that gave no flavor to the cocktail at all. When trying to eat the corn it was too burnt to eat. A good gimmick to get people to order it but not worth getting. Our dishes arrived and the server seemed confused. once all plates on the table we noticed how some of the same dishes were different proportion sized than others. For example my salmon looked to be about an 8oz portion, but others looked like 4oz. The 8oz wasn't even that much food but it was soaking in an absolutely delicious miso sauce that I could have drank. My husbands 24 hour beef short ribs were mostly fat, not a whole lot of meat to eat. Overall the food was okay. The service is the thing that really got me. Our server ( Kibo) was foreign and maybe there was a language barrier or something, but he was pretty curt with us on anything we asked. Many questions we asked him, he would simply say no and walk away. No smile, no greeting, no personality. The food runners were nicer than him. I agree with a 20% tip for larger parties, but sometimes I feel like they should actually earn that, not just expect it and treat people poorly. Overall, I would say this place is okay. I would go back for happy hour and get the shrimp again with some wine. Maybe next time I am in the Vail area.

Yelp
Great service and dinner at Slope Room. We started with the focaccia bread and burrata and it was delicious. My husband and I split the Ribeye and it was cooked perfectly. The mushrooms and asparagus were fresh with a light sauce. My son had the kids red pasta and that was nothing to write home about.

Matt K.

Yelp
The food was good, ambiance nice, but service was ridiculously slow. Manager blamed the large party in the back, but did very little else to accommodate the rest of the diners in the front other than acknowledge the really slow service.

Raghav S.

Yelp
Solid choice with good flavors and great drinks but a bit overpriced. Fun for a large group if you can get in.

Asher W.

Yelp
Came for drinks and apps before a local wedding. First off super cool place. Love the vibe. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Cocktails were on point. Especially loved the corn whisky one (don't recall the name). We had the tartare which was very solid and the charcuterie plate which was even better. It had all kinds of interesting surprised and fab cheeses and meats. Overall the atmosphere really caps it off. Will most def be back again.

Ritu R.

Yelp
Came here for a anniversary dinner with my husband and we were beyond pleased with our entire experience. We started with the short rib and prawns and enjoyed the halibut and fillet four entrées and finished with the baked Alaska. Our cocktails and entire dining experience was memorable and flavorful! The service was warm & attentive on the right level.

Tonya M.

Yelp
Incredible anniversary dinner. This is the 2nd anniversary we've been able to celebrate at the Slope Room on our trips to Vail. Between the impeccable service, delicious food, & the romantic ambiance, it deserves 5/5 stars! The Colorado Wagyu Hot stone was a new experience & we'll do it again next time! Each appetizer, entree & dessert was perfectly cooked, amazing flavors, & you didn't want to leave a scrap behind.

Yelp
My wife and I stopped into the Slope Room after a recommendation from our Peruvian waitress at another restaurant. She told us that the Slope Room made "the best Pisco Sour" (a classic Peruvian cocktail). The Pisco Sour was not on the menu but the Bartender was kind enough to make it for us. While enjoying our drinks the Bartender told us that they were launching their new seasonal menu two days later. So, we made reservations to come back. We were celebrating our anniversary and when we arrived they offered us a glass of bubbles to celebrate. In addition, I order a Nebbiolo and my wife, a Rose. Both wines were very good. Then our server offered us some bread, which came as tiny rolls, with a whipped butter and salt. My wife loved how small and "cute" the bread was. It was very tasty as well. To start our meal, we order the Korean Short Ribs appetizer (which I recommend if its on the menu) which had great asian flavors and a touch of mint. I ordered the Blue Corn Tamale--what I am assuming was a seasonal dish. The Tamale had great flavors, with a tofu chorizo, pickled peppers and onions, and a verde sauce to complete the dish. This was a great vegetarian option and I would recommend if you enjoy southwest flavors and want to try something unique. My wife ordered a classic grass-fed Ribeye with the red wine sauce. The steak was cooked to a perfect temperate and had really good flavors. We also ordered a side of baby carrots, that were topped with goat cheese and pistachios. Dessert was a pineapple upside-down cake, which was a fantastic end to our experience. Overall, the service was good, drinks were good and the food was great. We were there midweek so the place was pretty slow. But I imagine this place fills up quick during peak season. If you are in the area, I would recommend getting a reservation and plan for a nice evening out.

C H.

Yelp
I'm so disappointed, we had dinner tonight at the Slope Room.. I realize it's the holidays but our service could not have been worse. We asked multiple questions about recommendations, are the sides still family style? How many people could enjoy the Yukon gold mashed potatoes? Could you please describe the SR Steak Sauce? Absolutely zero interaction, zero feedback, zero personality. Our waters were completely managed by other staff, would you like a second cocktail? Yes please, wait that wasn't our server, Shandy L, that was the sweet tall gal waiting on the table beside us. Thanks for noticing we needed more cocktails.. Our foods were wonderful and presented beautifully. Waitress never came back to inquire if everything came out properly (it did) would we like anything additional (yes, salt and pepper would be great) the excellent meal was overshadowed but the lack of service that one expects at a top dining experience. Sigh

Tim O.

Yelp
It was pretty easy to get reservations here. Service was disjointed with one/the busboy frequently smashing dishes together and the waiter sub-standard for a restaurant like this. Food was a let down. Pho was 80% soy sauce and was awful. Mussels were great but included bread was rock hard. $86 special ribeye cooked rare at best and the fat was barely rendered. The hot rock wagyu, desserts, and my friends' entrees, however, were good. It was our last night so I didn't want to make a scene but, if asked, I would have shared all of this feedback. Place has potential but needs a lot of work at these prices.

Emma J.

Yelp
This restaurant was recommended as one of the best in the Vail area and thus we went there to celebrate our engagement. We were seated in a secluded area which was really nice and intimate for the occasion! We started with the Smoke Jumper and a glass of the Riesling. The Riesling was very good, but the Smoke Jumper wasn't, it was just very smoky and tasted primarily of Campari, and like it was missing all the other ingredients. We then ordered the sourdough naan and wagyu hot stone for appetizers. Unfortunately, they were out of the sourdough naan, so we did not get to enjoy that, but the wagyu hot stone was phenomenal! Oh my gosh it was absolutely delicious. 100% recommend getting it! For our entrees, we ordered the 24 hour beef short rib and the center cut filet mignon with mashed Yukons and crispy Brussels sprouts as sides. The short rib and the steak were both cooked perfectly and delicious. And the Brussels sprouts were the best I've ever had, the glaze was impeccable. The "mashed Yukons" however, were a huge let down, because first of all, they weren't mashed at all, they were fries, and second of all, they were SO over seasoned. I'm not sure if we just don't know what mashed Yukons are, but when I read that, I assumed that meant mashed potatoes, not fries. Despite this and the icky drink, the other things totally outweighed those and thus the 5 stars.

Yelp
Located inside Gravity Haus. Was staying at this hotel with my brother and two nieces and nephew as the older two had ski training/instruction for 6 hours so we had some time to grab a bite for the youngest, who is 3. She was really wanting pancakes but they had Nutella French toast so I think that was a good substitute for her. I ordered the Salmon Toast and a side of their local sausage. The French toast was amazing. I think they bruleed it because the outside of the toast was so texturally crunchy so it didn't get soggy under Nutella. Also came with strawberries and blackberries. Beautiful plating. Needless to say, she was not sad that there was no pancakes for her to eat. She loved her meal. My smoked salmon toast was really, really good. My brother ate breakfast elsewhere with the older kids so they would be set for the morning when skiing, so he wasn't super hungry. But the food was so good he picked at the French Toast and also ate a small piece of my dish. I LOVED the Salmon Toast. Pickled red onions, capers, cream cheese, perfect proportions and just a great lighter breakfast. But what I really want to talk about is the sausage. I think I was imagining a patty, or even links. What came out was a scored sausage that was the size of a bratwurst or large polish sausage. It was so crispy on the outside, I assume they scored it and then deep fried it. It was delightful. I was glad I decided to go this route vs. bacon since this was from a local purveyor. I saw that they were very busy for dinner. Towards the evening I was looking for a place to buy some bottled water and they offered me one of their reusable filtered water bottles for free since we were guests in the hotel. I was SUPER happy with the service and quality of the food here. Support small businesses.

Yelp
If you go, make sure you order your drinks neat. For 6 drinks - we were charged an extra $24 in ice and soda water. What?!?! The corn old fashion is $12, so order that. All other drinks have a $3 ice and $3 soda charge. Check out our bill - unbelievable.

Galina A.

Yelp
Wanted to share my experience with everyone, it's a beautiful place, very cosy and quiet with beautiful music. Everyone was super welcoming polite and friendly, which so far I didn't see much in vail. Our dinner was served quick , and tasted so delicious, unforgettable! I ordered salmon, which was cooked to perfection, my husband has black cod , also nice light with a touch of truffle oil, dessert with passion fruit was also amazing!

The Sophisticated S.

Yelp
Went there for my birthday dinner. If perfection was reality, this place is it. Everything was amazing; food, service, and ambiance. I highly recommend this place .

Jill S.

Yelp
Expensive, but worth it. Great service, lovely ambiance, and the food is very good. The staff definitely pays attention to you and the sommelier is great. This was a great place to celebrate my husband's birthday.

Melinda R.

Yelp
Enjoyed an evening of fun (August 9, 2023), thanks to John at the bar!! He entertained us and enlighted us on the amazing cocktails this establishment offers. Thank you John for making our visit so fun. M Ratzesberger

Rav J.

Yelp
Not bad food. Their credit card machine suggests 22 to 30% tip for walk up counter service.

Dave H.

Yelp
Wonderful spot for casual drinks after skiing or a nice dinner with friends and family. Try to sit by the fireplace if possible. Large wrap around bar that can accommodate big groups. Amazing wait staff who make great drinks and seem to genuinely enjoy where they work.

Hannah M.

Yelp
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Slope Room and couldn't have had a better experience. We appreciated the special touches the staff made to help us celebrate - from the help with a wine bottle selection to a beautiful dessert. We'll be back!

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. Mediterranean food. Great service and fun romantic ambiance. Highly recommend for a special night out.

Yelp
It's rare that I give 5 stars across the board, almost never but hey, Slope Room hit on all cylinders. Walter Scott 2020 Pinot was excellent as recommended by our server. The chicken was superb, cooked to perfection with some nice gnocchi and sauce. Others at our table had the short ribs and love it. I had a Simple Salad that was lightly dressed and super fresh greens. My wife had the beet salad which had amazing flavor. The room's ambience was warm, inviting and modern country. The service was excellent so year...5 stars it is! Nice job and strong recommend!

Yelp
They charged for ice..... Atmosphere was great and the food was good, however terribly expensive. Left feeling confused as to why our bill was $200 and why they charged us $4 for ice. Our server was attentive though.

Yelp
Food was really good! I really enjoyed the dessert, matcha latte, and wagyu burger, only reason for 3 stars is that wagyu was closer to well done rather than medium. However, their coffee is amazing, the barista uses real vanilla beans to flavor their vanilla flavored coffees such as for a cold brew. Finally, service was attentive and personal. Recommend coming here for either lunch or breakfast

Yelp
Worst experience in a long time. Really not much went right. The simple salad was ok but salty. The brussell sprouts were good. The pork chop was ok the guy next to me received a pork-chop that presented much nicer. It was hard to believe we ordered the same dinner. The rest of the meal was terrible. The drinks were just not good. They tried to use so many flavors in each craft drink that it just did not work. The salmon was fishy. The dumplings under the fish were hard dark , and fishy as well. terrible..... The creamy whip potatoes had no flavor and pasty. The peach crumble was hard and cold. It would have been good if made same day. It had been in the refrigerator a while.

Yelp
This restaurant had a charming ambiance and I was eager to try their 21-day dry aged bison ribeye. Unfortunately, it was sold out when I arrived, so I opted for the grass-fed ribeye which was tasty. However, my children ordered from the kids menu - chicken breast with vegetables this was a disappointment as both the chicken and the carrots were burnt to a crisp. Although the waiter mentioned this was the norm, my kids refused to eat it. The table beside us ordered the wagyu hot stone, but when they placed the meat on the stone, it immediately produced a large amount of smoke which filled the room instantly causing the table behind us to start coughing. To our surprise, the manager was reluctant to acknowledge the issue, citing that they sold the hot stone dish all day without complaints. Eventually, the manager did open the windows to let fresh air in, but this experience overall was not enjoyable.

Yelp
The decor is beautiful, service was great which I feel is very hard to find in vail. *I noticed a weird feeling about vail, everyone thinks they are so cool or something just for being here.. BUT at slope room they treated us so well it was so refreshing. The food was delicious, had the French onion soup, was boiling hot and I loved it. Bf had the Mussels, we split grilled Caesar salad. I had the Lamb shank and he the ribeye. It all was great. Only thing I think could improve is a little more salt on the shank! Oh and the drinks were made perfectly! Shout out to Scott and Carl for taking care of us.
