They open at 9am not 8:50am not 8:55am. I made the mistake of coming too early and they were very nice to me even though I was so early. We had so much fun picking strawberries for our very first time. Everyone was wonderful 10/10

Our little strawberry picker helpers at Slow Farm. It's a good time and good experience for kids.

We had a great experience picking strawberries. My husband and I took our two kids and they had fun even though it was a super hot day. They have little basket for you to use but will be returned once you are done picking. If I can remember correctly I think they charge by weight. Depending on what they have during the season they will post it up on there facebook page for picking. We will be going again when our work schedule allow us to.

Very, very nice people proving that organic farming is viable and doable. I used to commute past their farm and would always stop for strawberries when they were in. I always found them to be very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about their farm and produce. High marks all around.

Ok, so it's the end of strawberry picking, but I was glad we made it, the workers there are super nice and gave us our baskets and let us do our own picking, my son kept eating what he was picking, but will be coming next year!!

Organic farm , so best of luck finding the strawberry plants between all the weeds . Bought home and realized they don't taste good. Organic = No maintenance , High price Went to a different farm next weekend.

We had a great time picking strawberries at this farm. The strawberries are so good and it was an enlightening experience. Strawberry picking is hard!

This place is the most magical wonderland of flowers, fruits and veggies, and one of my absolute favorite places on earth. I could literally spend hours just walking around and looking at all of the gorgeous plants every time I come from NYC to visit my family in Michigan. There are literally 50 different varieties of heirloom tomatoes, I LOVE to sample each of the different ones and then pick a few quarts of my favorites. They are literally like candy because they are so sweet. All of the vegetables here taste amazing. Today my mom made gato gato for dinner with a bunch of vegetables from the farm including zucchini, carrots, beets, peas, cilantro, meiqing choi, sugar snap peas and broccolini with a peanut sauce on top. I don’t even like half of those veggies but omg it was sooo tasty! The strawberries are also amazing, but you have to make sure to get there at the right time (of the season and of the day). The price is worth it imho because you can sample everything and you get to see exactly where it comes from. It’s also a great place for kids. I would give it 100 stars if I could!

Yelp
A delightful surprise, Slow Farm, unlike many of the larger farms, offers a wider variety of vegetables and fruits to pick. We picked two varieties of kale, ground cherries - which I had never tasted before - tomatoes, green beans and some flowers. Please help support this small, organic farm and enjoy their bounty! I look forward to returning at different times to see what they grow.

Yelp
What a perfect way to spend the day. I love U-Pick places and the greater Ann Arbor area is full of them. But this one is special. It's a really great inclusive farm that truly wants you to enjoy the experience and the food. They have a shed twitch different tools you can borrow. We used some of the trays, cutters, gloves etc. The employees were very nice and knowledgeable on the produce. There is a picnic table (shaded) in case you need to sit. We learned a lot about their practice and how biodiverse agriculture can impact life. It's a great place! Please look them up for next season and stop by.

Yelp
Total waste of time and dignity. The staff laughed, pointed, and stared at me because I asked if I could buy vegetables at their market. The sign says Market. The manager said "No." Nothing else-- just "No." After I started walking away, the manager asked (to my back) if I wanted to hear about it. She explained in great length about her program, ... and finally that I can buy later that morning.

Yelp
What a very cool place! I feel privileged to have been able to pop by and check it out. So many wonderful veggies to pick from!
