The 38 Best Restaurants in Copenhagen, Denmark | Eater

"Since opening its doors back in 2017, Slurp has helped foster a ramen trend all over the Nordic countries. Founder Philipp Inreiter, a protege of Noma, traveled around Japan and came back with a passion for broth and noodles. The ramen is Tokyo-style and Inreiter doesn’t hold back on the spice, making a bowl perfect on a cold winter’s day. The ’nduja miso ramen, a recent addition to the menu, has earned a bit of hype, contributing to the shop’s one downside: the lines. People have been known to line up for two hours during the weekend lunch rush." - Anna Norström

"Known for its standout ramen and pork dumplings, Slurp Ramen Joint is a go-to for Japanese noodle soup in Denmark. The no-reservations policy means lines form early, but the quality and taste are worth the wait." - Coolstuff Team

Slurp is a cozy ramen joint that delivers a solid bowl when you’re in the mood for noodles. The Shio Ramen is light but flavorful, while the Veggie Ramen is surprisingly hearty and doesn’t feel like a compromise. The gyoza is fine and the Nduja Miso ramen is just okay, leaning more on the novelty side than the must-order list. Still, the vibe is casual and welcoming, and the ramen itself is satisfying enough to keep you warm on a cold Copenhagen day.

Fusion Japanese ramen, the sashimi was good, the rest was not absolute terrible. The most disturbing part is that you have to pay after every time you order something, also kinda small space if you sit at the bar and they expect us to just squeeze in :)

We were cold and tired after a looooong day exploring and this was the perfect, most delicious, end. So delicious and a great atmosphere with some good music. This is the best ramen I’ve eaten! I want to come back to Copenhagen just to eat it again.

The best noodle dish I have had in Europe. The restaurant definitely knows how to make ramen in a proper way. We were lucky to arrive before long queue on the rainy day. We had Shio Ramen, the seafood broth was a little bit salty for me, but it made the noodles delicious and I did not feel bad after having spoons of the broth. The fried chicken was somehow just average. We liked the local kombucha and rice beer.

Perfect dinner for a cold and rainy day in Copenhagen! Veggie ramen was perfection. Friendly staff. Had a lovely orange wine and the alcohol free beer was great.

Best ramen I’ve had in my whole entire life. Do yourself a favour and try this place. Logically priced, great service and wonderful food. I am now back to my country reminiscing about this dinner.

An honest feedback from a Ramen lover. Copenhagen perspective: 4.4/5 US/Asia/Japan/France perspective: 4/5. We gave 3/5 due to the high price tag of 30USD per bowl. You can have a nicer bowl elsewhere in the world. If you have a craving for ramen, this will be the place for you to satisfy your craving. We had the shoyu and the miso ramen. Shoyu Ramen Noodle: 3/5. Handmade but lack the chewiness(劲道). Soup: 4.5/5. The shoyu and mushroom paste is a great match. The mushroom paste provides that umami to balance the saltiness of the shoyu. Chashu(meat): 2/5. Bland. Lack the layered taste expected from a chashu and the texture felt overcook. Miso Ramen Noodle: same as above. Soup: 3/5. chicken broth was overpowered by the miso. The taste turns out like Sichuan fermented beancurd soup or Asian Laksa-like. Chashu: same as above. At 30USD per bowl, is it worth the crave? You decide.

The ramen was great but the chicken bites was a little dry. But the ramen was so good I was slurping.
