Unfortunately, my experience at Sly Rooftop was very disappointing. It took about 15 minutes before anyone even came over to our table, and when someone finally did, the service felt completely unorganized -- I didn't have a dedicated server, and multiple people just came by at random.
I ordered a Hugo Spritz and was brought a Sangria instead, and when I ordered a half dozen oysters, I received a full dozen. The oysters themselves were discolored, had a pungent smell, and overall didn't seem fresh. I actually ended up feeling sick afterward.
Because I had a train to catch, I didn't have time to speak to a manager in person, but I called the next day and was told that a manager would get back to me regarding a refund. I followed up again and was told a different manager would reach out -- but I never received a call back.
At this point, the lack of accountability and poor food quality are unacceptable, especially for a place with such a beautiful rooftop setting. The only positive thing I can say is that the rooftop itself is lovely -- but beyond that, the experience was far from enjoyable.
