My son picked up this for us. The restaurant is closer to where he lives, & it’s too far for them to deliver to me. My son has repeatedly shared with family & friends what a wonderful place this restaurant was to experience. But, their actions that day literally destroyed some of my son’s enthusiasm…at least for that particular restaurant, anyway. For the record, he said that when he went in & up to the counter, all the employees who were Right There, completely ignored him! He didn’t know What was Wrong, so he stood quietly, believing there must have been some issue they needed to work through before they endeavored to help him. But, they continued to ignore him! I said it may have been because My name was on the order, because I was taken my son out,for once, cause my children hardly Ever let me spoil them like that. They predominantly just want to spoil me! Anyway, none of the staff there had ever been rude to my son, at all, before. And… maybe he was at the wrong place & the wrong time… but there’s No Excuse for bad behavior, especially within the restaurant industry! Now I Know he Loves Smashburger… but he’s vowed to never go back there, after being treated so badly! That’s just heartbreaking! I don’t know What was going On with the Staff, that day, but No One Deserves such a Negative/Disrespectful experience! I hope it’s Not the Parent Company’s stance that they, in any way, condone this very troubling behavior from those representing their company! Please advise. Thank you! Regards, Nikki Morell
