The first time I’ve had loaded sweet potato fries and I will never be the same again! This place offers a self-order kiosk if you’re in a rush or need to think things over. Everyone I mentioned this place to will usually eat here again in the same week. It’s that good!

Best halal burger! We ordered cheeseburgers for the kids. Super smash for us and 2 orders of fries for the table. The kids loved the food. Super smash burger was easily in the top 3 burgers of all time. Fries were crispy and well seasoned. Oh and their sauce... best sauce hands down. We'll be back.

Travelled from London, England and heard a lot about SMA5H. I can confidently say that this is the best smash burger I ever had. Nothing too complicated. Soft buttery bun, clean seasoned patty with that crispy edge, topped with that amazing homemade sauce and let’s not forget the friendly faces as you enter. Sometimes less is more and these guys understood that. Would recommend this place to anyone. Hope they grow as an establishment and get all the exposure and success they deserve. Rooting for you across the pound 👊🏾

Amazing halal smash burger with ample parking. We tried they super smash, supreme smash burgers, they tasted very fresh, their sauce is rich and tasty. Nice people as well.

Prices are reasonable and still incredibly yummy and well proportioned. Service is consistently good and for the price, service, and type of beef (Halal) - it’s a win, win, win. Would go there over and over again as my go to smash burger place even though it is out of the way for where I live. You can tell the staff care for each other and the community they serve. Their smash fries are absolutely worth a try too!

Good smash burger, all the guys in the group agreed. Our cousin from France really liked it and went back again before his return flight. Brioche Bun They recommend getting the super smash (double patty) but it’s too much meat for me and was too salty. The Simple Smash was a much better fit for me. Fries were good (suggest eating it there for freshness) Parking lot was insane and super busy. Took forever trying to find parking. It’s a very busy plaza so if you come at peak times, you can opt for street parking or park at the other plaza across. Health dept rating is currently : OKAY rating Floors were super sticky and flies were flying around we had to swat them while eating. I had to minus stars for that. Much greasier than an In-out burger. It’s a diff style burger than In -n- out so my rating is based on comparing to other smash burgers. Ask for more napkins because they barely give u any the first time.

This is possibly the best burger around town. Crispy fatty with just the right amount of toppings and sauce. The bun holds its own to the greasy(in a good way) burger. And the price is very reasonable. Reason for 4 stars... 1) The area is the kind that makes you worried about the safety of your car. 2) Ordered the Sma5h fries, and the fries were swimming in sauce. It's just not my preference. Bottom line, would I come here again??? Absolutely

One of the best burgers I've had in a really long time! This location of Sma5h is inside King Plaza on Othello, so if you want parking around this area then come after peak hours (when Ba Mien and other surrounding businesses are closed) as it's much easier to find around that time. When you do get here, you're greeted with a casual burger joint-like interior, and you can smell the burgers just by coming in. You place your orders through kiosks at the front, and your order - whether you dine in or get it to go - comes in paper bags. There's also several tables for seating, and some seating near one of the walls where their logo is. I got their Supreme Sma5h burger, which is literally their Super Sma5h but with bacon. Both come with two patties, lettuce and tomatoes, caramelized onions, pickles and their sauce. I paired this with their loaded fries, which is regular fries with cheese on top. The burger was juicy, fresh and tender, and the sauce was awesome! Fries had an extra oomph to them because of the cheese compared to just ketchup. The beef had the right kind of falling apart as it went into my mouth, and I couldn't have asked for a better burger. There isn't any sort of water dispenser, and I wasn't sure if there was a restroom inside to use since my friends and I did want to wash our hands after eating. They also don't provide very many napkins when you get your order, so I did have to ask for some more so that everyone in my group of five had at least a couple. That aside, this was a spot several of my friends in my group have already had and recommended, so I'm happy I got to give this place a try. I'll definitely come back when I want a juicy burger that's not too much of a drive!

Honestly, I was a bit nervous to walk in at first because the area didn't look very inviting, and we almost kept driving. But we were really hungry and decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad we did! The food was surprisingly delicious, everything was fresh, and the service was super friendly and very fast. I thought the portion of French fries wouldn't be enough, but it was plenty for all of us, my husband, me, and our two kids. One small tip: it would be nice if they cleaned the tables a bit more often. Other than that, we had a great experience and I'm happy we stopped by!

Little to no wait times, food was made very fresh and the Double sma5h burger was very filling! The side of sma5h sauce adds an extra layer of flavor as well!

Tried Sma5h for the first time yesterday and had a good experience - food was good - I ordered the #3 and #4 double with cheese - burgers could use a little more salt and pepper and sauce - burgers are extra crispy on the edges but overall it was good - the strawberry lemonade was ok - could be more sweet, could have more strawberry flavoring the service was good - you can order from the kiosk or from a crew member - the space was modern and clean. - ample parking, open late, takes digital payment or cash and halal

The service here is fantastic, and the staff are super friendly and energetic! I had a great chat with them. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because there's room for improvement. First off, they need to work on their cleanliness. The floors were pretty gross. They also need to add some ambiance. Some background music or something similar would be awesome. And don't even get me started on the burgers! There's nothing they have to spice things up. No hot sauce, no chili peppers. By just adding some hot sauce, they could totally cater to spicy lovers like me. Lastly, they have seats to sit down but they dont serve their food on plates. Everything is in a to go bag and burgers are wrapped in foil. All in all, great people, solid food, but there's definitely room for improvement.

Husband was craving a smash burger on New Year's Day. We looked up some spots and this was rated well, for good reason. It was surprisingly busy too! It was around. 530pm and the small amount of tables they had were full. It's a quick grab n go spot and they are cranking burgers out. The service was good. Fast, efficient, and kind. We placed our order and got it within 10 minutes. My husband and I loved the burgers. Super flavorful and seasoned, melty cheese and the grilled onions, absolutely delicious. We loved the fried and so did our son. He ate an entire bag to himself. He also had a strawberry shake and there were fresh strawberries. It was delicious. We will be back.

If you want a quick and cheap burger with low expectations, this is the perfect stop.

We got food poisoning here. My fiancé and I were throwing up all night and couldn't eat anything after. We used to come here and it was fine, but something has definitely changed -- never again.

Easy ordering, nice service, and a great meat heavy burger. Parking was easy at the end of the day, although not many other businesses in the plaza seemed very open at dinner time on a Sunday. Super smash burger: two patties with a good crust on them, pretty tasty burger but was pretty oily and heavy for me so I think I'll order a single patty next time! Overall solid burger spot, I'm not complaining about the size of the burger either!

Fantastic new smash burger shop in south seattle , focusing on halal approved food. I tried the Smashburger combination, which comes with the burger fries and a drink, a pleasant surprise.Was pleasantly surprised when I realized that their drink fridge includes mountain dew baja fresh, which I have never seen so outside of taco bell. Parking in this complex can sometimes be challenging during peak hours. I went on a weekday around 4pm, and had no trouble finding a parking spot. Ambiance inside is simple, small ish, but clean. Service was friendly and quick, and indoor dining was sufficient for the 4pm crowd. Definitely will be returning again as the burger was delicious and priced reasonably.

SMA5H is a great, local spot to pick up a fantastic burger (truly nothing hits like a halal burger). They have a shared parking lot that can be a little tight and there's a decent amount of seating inside for folks who want to dine in. Chopped Cheese (3.75/5): This was super cheesy and salty, exactly what you want. The only problem was halfway through, there was just way too much bread and it ate a little dry. Supreme Smash (4.25/5): Delicious burger, this would definitely be my go-to item. Amazing crust on the patty and the beef strip was surprisingly crunchy, truly reminiscent of bacon. Sweet Loaded Fries / Smash Fries (3/5): The actual base potato fry was pretty good: fluffy inside and crispy outside. I didn't love the white sauce and the sweet potato fries were way too soft to hold up to all the toppings. Just grab plain fries if you're here.

One of the best burgers I've had recently! I got the super sma5h and loaded fries and both were gone in about 10 min. Patty was cooked to perfection and the sauce elevated the burger! Been wanting to try this place since I heard they opened recently. The parking lot can get a little packed and hectic so if you could get away with street parking, I'd suggest doing that. I was greeted upon entry and it was nice that there was an option to order directly from a person or from a self serve device which I liked. It helps speed up ordering for the future busy days which I can see them having once summer comes around. The inside has quite a bit of communal seating with a few long tables as well as a high counter and small circular table. For ordering 4 burgers with fries, it was was a pretty quick turnaround time and we didn't end up waiting too long for our order. I ordered the Supreme Sma5h and it was so good. The beef was cooked perfectly and you get a nice crunch from the veggies. Since they're serving halal food, their alternative to bacon was a beef strip that is their substitute for bacon and honestly, it could have fooled me if I didn't know any better. The sauce on the burger was really good as well and it definitely brought all the elements of the burger, together. I had an order of Sma5h fries to go with my order and it was covered in the same sauce that the burger had. I don't know what it is about their sauce but it had me wishing I had more to just have to have leftover for other foods. Looking forward to coming back and trying their Chopped Cheese next time!

Hello SMA5H. Wife and I were passing through town took the opportunity to have lunch with our boy. Asked for a burger place and he found this gem. Parking is a challenge regardless where you're at in Seattle after few laps found parking. The service was fast and you order off a kiosk and pay. No fountain sodas offered bottled water and few canned drinks. Seating is limited like the parking but few moments and something will open up. Spectating: preorder with a helper, stop in front helper runs for the order and driver does a slow lap around the parking lot before picking helper up and head home. To messy to eat and drive with SMA5H.

Burgers and fries were delicious. Great service very nice employees. Small venue but nice and clean.

Love the location since it's so close to the train station. Food is always hot even when u order ahead of time. Fast service and amazing staff. The store is designed for quick in and out service. Not the biggest fan of beef but the beef here is so good.

Stopped here for a Tuesday dinner around 5p, parking lot wasn't bad which was my main concern with Plazas like this so I was very pleased with that. Upon entry there was only one party that was dining in which left several tables open and as we sat there waiting for our food 3 different people came in to pick up orders so it seems ordering ahead and sliding through to pick up and go is normal, which makes sense, I didn't notice a bathroom as the front is dining and the back is register then kitchen so we ordered to go so we cold wash our hands. Food didn't take long, we ordered #1 cheeseburger and #4 supreme sha5h which came with grilled onions, cheese, tomatoes, pickles and beef bacon on two patties with fries. Burgers were good my only complaint is the bacon was chewy, fries was giving McDonalds but well seasoned and their house sauce was bangin! WHEN I go back I've heard good things about their chopped cheese so I will definitely give that a go and run back then fries! Worth a try if you like shahs burgers!

This is the second time I've been here. Both times were for the plate of nations. The burgers are Halal. Everything is super tasty, though I wish there was a little more beef and less bread. The service and the Decor is nice. The drink selection is pretty limited, but that is a matter when you are surrounded by drink places on that same strip.

I've been craving a good burger all week and smash burgers are my favorite, so I decided to give this spot a try. I woke up with a real "treat yourself" attitude so I ordered the super smash (#3), fries, chicken nuggets, and a mango lemonade. I ordered it for delivery so I was a little worried about how it would travel, but everything was absolutely delicious. The burger was everything I've been dreaming of - the patty had a great flavor and sear to it and it was accompanied by the right proportion of toppings and sauce. The chicken nuggets also had a great flavor with crispy breading. The fries were seasoned well and somehow maintained their crisp during transport. The mango lemonade was good, too. It was a little sweet for my taste, but that's to be expected for drinks like that. It's very likely that SMA5H is going to become one of my go-to for burgers.

The burger was awesome! Drinks were great but leaned a little more on the sweet side. We also tried the chicken tender sandwich which was disappointing. The tenders were very thin...it was more like a very flat crusted piece of chicken and not worth $9.80.

Ran down here with a burger and shake craving knowing it closes at 8. Got here 5 minutes prior to closing and... they were already closing up. It really bothers me when business's don't honor their own business hours. It's bad for business... literally

Do not recommend. I went here because I was in the area and craving a burger. It was empty and dirty. The cashier was hacking as I ordered. I soon figured out no one wanted to be there...including me. The guy packing my food was also using his phone. So, he's wearing hygiene gloves while using his phone. Disgusting. Anyway, burger was like a homemade burger. Grocery store bun, thousand island, ok patty. 2/5 The fries were undercooked, soggy and limp. They also had a weird seasoning that tasted like finely crushed Funyuns.

Good food atmosphere was very laid back possibly too much for a smashed location oeoole going on and out also having cashiers for no apparent reason just hanging out with theirs friends

This is a gem right near my house. Fast & fresh made smash burgers that are so tasty. They have really good fries too. Each burger is made to order so the food is always fresh, meat is Halal so you know it's good quality. This is an easy go to during a busy weeknight or whenever you have a craving for burgers. Service is fast & friendly, they do have dine in or take out option. We always take our order to go & it's still nice & fresh when we get home or take it to the lake for a picnic.

Their burgers are juicy and flavorful! I got a super smash and every bite was better than the last. I also got and order of smash fries, which were obviously soggy but the flavor was so good! The service was friendly and fast and while I got my food to go, the restaurant had a nice vibe inside.

For those wanting a very reasonably priced burger in the southend, this is the place for you. It's fast, very good, and fries are amazing. Their dipping sauce is fantastic too. I just appreciate this place because it's family run and they won't charge you nearly $15 for one burger like so many other places in Seattle right now. We order from here regularly and get it to-go since it's not really a sit down and chill kind of place.

Great tasting food at a reasonable price! I haven't eaten a ton of halal food in my life but if all of it tastes this good, I'll definitely be searching out more! Friendly fast service, really no complaints at all!

Good service but the fries we ordered were cold and the beef patty was tiny in our burgers. Rarely feel the need to leave a review but this place being rated as high as it is, is crazy. We drove 30 minutes to try it and were disappointed. Hope some constructive criticism helps!

Food will be better if the cooks toasted the bread! They don't follow what the owners want , the burgers been salty since the owners hired new workers . I miss when the owners worked they cooked the burgers how they're supposed to be done .

Restaurant seems like it's ran by family, there's enough room for people to dine in if they feel like it. Parking can be very tight depending if you're going during the weekday or weekend and time of day. Food is definitely a step above many burger chains, but price is what makes it difficult to justify coming here instead of other chains every time, but it can't be helped. Spending roughly 30-40% more than chains but in the end you will have to try this place yourself to determine if it's 30-40% tastier than other places.

I got the smash burger supreme w/ a strawberry lemonade & fries. This is a mediocre place there is nothing special beyond it being halal. The beef bacon wasn't crispy so all I bit into was uncooked fat the burger was overly greasy with no flavor. The fries were basic not crispy it had seasoning but not sure what type but goodness they weren't salty. However I did not drink the lemonade that when the ice melted still tasted like syrup. If you must and I mean must eat halal and you are out and this is an option. Please consider waiting until you get home. Again if you must eat this then by all means visit this place but it's nothing to write home about.

Cheeseburger was great, very juicy. The sauce isn't like anything else I've had before, tastes like Kewpie mayo. SMA5H fries were also good. Nice to have a great option like this in the area.

Maybe I'm tired of smash burgers. Maybe this one wasn't that good. All I know is it was a bit too greasy and a bit too fall apart for my liking.

Ordered a double smash burger and it was way too soggy. Couldn't taste the meat at all because of the overuse of sauce. Burger completely fell apart after my first bite.

One of the best burgers I've had in Seattle! I was blown away by the quality, family-owned atmosphere and affordable prices! This was my first time here but I'll be making this my regular go-to burger spot in Seattle. Everything was perfect. I had the cheeseburger and fries. The sauce for the fries was incredible! I can't say enough good things about this place and will be back again soon!
