Wonderful shop with lovely owners. Attended a fun, interesting and delicious wine tasting here and am looking forward to returning to many more events. The Deljnquente wine event was blast and his wines were amazing. Picked up a perfect red for the Florida summer and discovered an orange wine I really enjoyed.

This… aptly named… establishment is such a treat. The owners Tim and Tracy are very knowledgeable about wine and choose some of the most interesting yet delicious wines to offer. This is a must try for Fort Lauderdale! On a side note, this is the first place I have been able to tolerate more than a single glass before getting a headache! Such a blessing when you can get some good quality wine without the headache. Clean, beautiful and delicious! They also have wine pairing events which are my favorite.

Such a special place! I was a member of the wine club before moving out of state, and decided to host a small baby shower for my sister here. Tim and Tracy are wonderful hosts!! The food and beverage options were delicious and wow’d our guests. They were even able to add in some amazing vegan options for me. Tracy was so helpful in accommodating our wishes and our budget. Small Wine Shop is truly a gem in Fort Lauderdale!

Best wine shop hands down. Tim and Tracy are always so welcoming and knowledgeable. Love that we get to explore all new wines for all occasions. The events are always top notch and a blast. We've even hosted our birthday parties here in the past. No one does it better and embodies the spirit of a true small business.

Have visited several times in the past couple of years - from lazy weekends talking to the dog over sardines with skin contacts to bustling tasting events and the odd session with friends - always a great time with epic natural wines from around the globe! The owners are super knowledgeable and enthusiastic, they love what they do and it shows. Always great wine recommendations and there’s great wine literature available to purchase too

How can you not love this place? Tim and Tracey are the best of folks, superb wine selection plus some really amazing other items like the tinned fish, sake and even this wildly fantastic Bloody Mary mix. Oh yeah and it’s super dog friendly.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful. The owners prepared a private tasting which exceeded everyone’s expectations. It was for a friends 60th birthday. Wines of Portugal were selected. The knowledge, selection and charcuterie plates were over the top. Cannot recommend a tasting or visit enough

What a find. Curated Natural Wines that will have you coming back for more. You'll find a spotlight of local artists, regional cookbooks filled with stories amongst recipes, and incredible insight on viticulture from the friendly owners. Oh, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the better than the best records spinning. 10/5 stars.

I received a wine club membership to Small Wine Shop for Christmas, and cannot say enough good things about this small business. First of all, the owners, Tim and Tracy, are so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They welcome all with open arms, will find you the perfect wine for your tastes, and just generally have awesome customer service. Next, the WINE! What a great selection of natural wine. So much variety! Unique styles, unique countries. If you're an expert, pick for yourself. We prefer telling Tim what we're looking for and letting him choose the perfect match. Finally, the ambiance. Hip and modern, but still comfortable. We've been a few times during slow hours, and their sweet dog will be curled up on the mid century modern couch. Besides wine, there are other wine related goodies for sale. It's worth it to note, as of 2024 they no longer sell wine by the glass or food, and have gone back to being more of just a shop. But you can go in and do a tasting of the 4 wines of the week. Other great options are their weekly tastings with experts to teach you about the wines, and the monthly food pairing event!

So happy we found this perfect little natural wine shop during our stay in the Fort Lauderdale area! We just happened to drive by and I could tell it was my vibe just from the outside. I looked them up on Yelp and sure enough, 5 stars and exactly what I was looking for. We stopped in for an afternoon glass of wine. The owner Tim greeted us and allowed us to sample a few of the bottles they had open. I went with a crisp glass of bubbly and enjoyed the company of the cutest shop pup named Auggie. He was so chill laying on the sofa, soaking up the sun... what a life! It's pretty quiet in the shop on weekday afternoons, but by the looks of their IG, they host a lot of fun evening events and tastings. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area!

This place is really nice and cozy, if you want to relax or have fun with friends or by yourself try it! There's a good variety of wines and the owners are super friendly.

I experienced a nice wine tasting this past Friday at this hip wine store, where one can buy a bottle, chill out and talk with owners Tim and Tracy. They were so friendly and accommodating that I can't wait to come back with a friend or two and pop a few bottles, listen to music and chit chat with my friends.. Tim's stories about each wine were informative and spot on. He made some great recommendations. I purchased a bottle of Lambrusco Di Modena, Frizzante Secco. It's a sparkling red that's certified organic by ICEA. It was refreshing, with a very light carbonation. I'll definitely be coming back and spreading the word about this organic wine shop on up and coming Flagler Village in downtown Ft. Lauderdale!

One year later Tim and Tracy continue to make the Fort Lauderdale wine scene a better place. I have had two exceptional experiences here...when you ask around you will discover they are simply the talk of the town. It all started when a friend persuaded me to join her for their meet the winemakers event, I had never heard of The Small Wine Shop prior even though they are walking distance from me in Flagler Village. Lucky me! I loved the event and experience so much (in addition to their fantastic selection of wine) I decided to organize a private event. The event sold out in a matter of weeks at max capacity for 26 attendees! They customized the event for us. We opted for one of their Sunday school type classes which is an informative and fun class on wine that includes 6 3oz pours and a small charcuterie! Seriously Sicilian was a hit. We had fun while learning and drinking wine. All the wines showcased were available for purchase. Clean and organic wines you'll feel good about. A win win. Thank you Tim and Tracy happy one year of being awesome!

I had such a great time at the small wine shop. They did what they called the "buzzed bee" competition on Friday night which is essentially a spelling be with wine. You pay $15 and they pour you a glass, then every time it's your turn and you spell a word correctly they pour you another glass. I got through 4 rounds and man was I buzzing! They offered a variety of wines depending on your taste and I tasted different ones each time and they were all good. The one I like most was called orange. The place was pretty mellow when we arrived because we got there early but as soon as 8:00 hit it was packed with contestants. This seems like a nice place for after work drinks or a relaxed night out. There aren't many tables so on a regular night I'm not sure how busy they get but I will definitely be returning to find out. They also have a lot of cute wine related gifts for purchase so if you're buying for a wine lover, this is your spot. The service was amazing even with the large crowd so I want to thank everyone at the small wine shop for a fun night! Can't wait for the next buzzed bee as I already told all my friends

Cute wine was within walking distance from home. The owners are the sweetest people and they make you feel at home. They have a great wine club and everyday variety of special wines from all over the world. Certainly a must do for wine lovers !

I highly recommend this place not only as a place to buy wine, but also a cute place to grab a happy hour glass of wine with friends or co workers. The charcuterie boards are pretty tasty too! As far as service, the staff is amazing and SO knowledgeable about wine in general as well as the backgrounds of each of the wines they sell. It was great learning more and picking up some great bottles as well!

I heard about this establishment through an event and am so happy that I attended. The owners were very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable about the wines. The atmosphere was very relax and fun. The owner talked about all the events that they have going on. On certain days there is some type of theme to enjoy. There is a cool record player that you can play vinyl and sip wine. There is also a day that you can work and sip wine. Seems like a cool way to sample wines and meet great people. We sampled three wines, a dry Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The fruit in the Riesling really came through although the wine was dry. It was light and crisp. I really enjoyed it. The Chardonnay was also a great wine. The Pinot Noir was a lighter red wine that tasted really good. As a plus, we sampled a dessert wine that was so rich and sweet and I couldn't leave without a bottle.

Hands down, this is my new favorite place in Flagler Village. The owners are so knowledgeable about wine, but there's no pretentiousness about this shop, which is incredible. You can really walk in and find a great wine at any price point, and best of all, you can enjoy the bottle in a wonderful atmosphere and take the rest to go (if there's any left!). I really love places like this; it's like being at home, but with better wine! Small Wine Shop is also dog friendly. Sign me up! I am a new weekly customer

Tim and Tracy are amazing every time I go in there. They have never steered me wrong when asking for wine recommendations. I recently joined the wine club as well which is a great value. One of the best spots in Fort Lauderdale!

We absolutely loved this wine shop! The tasting was fun , interactive and all The wine we're delicious. We ended up buying two bottles of our favorites ones. There was a plate of meat, cheese , nuts and other goodies that were a definitely delicious addition to our wine. It was a cute and cozy accommodating shop for a tasting. We came on Sunday at 12 and bought tickets before hand. The owners were the sweetest and friendliest. We already bought tickets for the November tasting !

This is the cutest little shop. The have wines of all kinds from every corner of the world. Tracy, one of the owners went through every kind of wine and explained the region, grape color/type and flavor notes. Tim, her husband showed me how to properly open a bottle of wine. They were both so welcoming. I left with both bottles pictured and cannot wait to try it. After snooping on their IG I saw that they host events, and even have other small cutesy gifts. Thank you for welcoming me into your beautiful little shop!

This spot is a gem! They have wine tasting events, a wine club with affordable options (and a lot more options than most), and the owners make you feel like part of the family. They are very knowledgeable about their wines and always steer you in the right direction. Love this spot!

Small Wine Shop is a welcome addition to the area of Fort Lauderdale. The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly. They are always willing to discuss some of the new natural wines that they bring in stock on a regular basis. The decor and layout is exceptional with comfortable areas to sit and interesting books to look at.

Love this place! Tim is great at matching your taste with a great bottle of wine. I like that I can get wine by the glass too. I've been to a few neat events with artists and musicians too. They have a cute boutique with handmade items for sale too. Really unique little shop.

Friends... there is a reason Small Wine Shop was voted best wine shop in Ft. Lauderdale. I initially came in for a local Yelp event tasting which turned into us staying and drinking more wine! Figures... lol! I subsequently purchased tickets for their monthly wine tasting event in October which was phenomenal. So good in fact that I purchased tickets for the November even that same day. Tim and Tracy are so incredibly knowledgeable and who wouldn't love their shop pupper as well. I especially loved this wine shop because I found out a few years ago that I'm severely allergic to oak which is what 99.9% of most wines are aged in. They have SO MANY options that I can drink without the worry that I'll have an allergic reaction. And the wines are amazing! They have brands of small batch wines that I've never even heard of before that are as good, if not better, than what's being sold commercially. The atmosphere in the shop is so relaxing. They do not serve food but welcome you to bring in your own bites to sit and sip the night (or day) away. They also house some really great local vendors wares that you can purchase as well. Their shop is so homey and lovely I subsequently want them to stay small and hidden but also want to tell everyone about it because it's so great. Small Wine Shop is one of the best local spots in Ft. Lauderdale. Can't wait to attend more casual Sundays and wine events with T&T! Highly highly recommend a stop in.

Tim and Tracy really know their wines and business.  My husband and I  arrived and we were greeted by Augie, their very friendly dog.  If you are afraid of dogs, please don't be.  I am sure that the owners will ask Augie to sit in the back while you have time to enjoy a sample of their wines.  Don't think you can go to the grocery store to pick up one of their bottles.  You can't.  Their wine selection is unique and many of the wines cater to those that are vegan.  However, you will be able to find many of these at our local wine stores for cheaper.  Why would you pay more?  These are the factors.  My husband and I bought a bottle to drink at the store.  Augie sat at my side while the owners shared their love for wine with us.  You can't get that at a big box store.  My pictures will show the loot that we took home and we can't wait to come back for another sit down with Augey and the owners.  They have a special.  On Wednesdays, they have $5 wines and another special on Thursdays.  Please, please...support this local wine shop.  They truly care about your palate and won't steer you wrong.  Welcome to Fort Lauderdale!!

Awesome little wine shop in downtown FTL! The staff was very knowledgeable and was eager to let us taste all the daily specials. For those look for serious wines outside of what's offered at the supermarket, this shop hits the right mark.

A must try local spot. Small wine shop specializes in natural wines. The owners are very nice and informative and we left with a great selection. I wish they served wine by the glass because it's a cute little shop I would love to stop into on weekday evening for a glass or two ;)

Best new wine shop in Fort Lauderdale!!! The Owners Tim and Tracy are super cool and knowledgeable about natural wines. Super dope vibe and decorate designed by one of the owners. They always have some bottles open to taste, so you can stop by and try something you've never tried before. Only place around that carries my favorite wines from Forlorn Hope. Definitely check this place out.

We visited for the first time last Saturday during the Holiday wine event. It was amazing! We were actually the first ones there and had the opportunity to try all of the wines available. Both Tracy and Tim are super welcoming , knowledgeable and hospitable. We had a great experience and looking forward to the next event. Even if that means just date night with a bottle of wine or two :)
