Smashburger Denver Airport Review - Denver Airport - Denver - The Infatuation

"Smashburger is essentially the Shake Shack of Colorado—these burgers are reliable for a quick, cheap meal to grab on the way to your gate. You can customize your meal with beef, turkey, or bean patties, but stick with the signature burgers that come loaded with toppings like smoked bacon and brisket or truffle mushrooms. You’ll definitely want some rosemary and garlic fries to nibble on as you scroll on your phone at the gate." - Anne Cruz

Not bad for being in an airport. The service was very friendly and I received my 4 piece Chicken Tenders very quickly. The Tenders came with fries which was a pleasant surprise. The chicken was tender and juicy. The 4 pieces of chicken were actually bigger than I had expected. They have honey mustard sauce but I went with the SmashBurger special sauce. They sauce I got tasted like honey Mustard without much honey. Nothing like Chicken Tenders for breakfast!

As a vegetarian I've eaten a lot of veggie and black bean burgers over the years. The black bean burgers are invariably seasoned with a southwestern flavor. It definitely gets old. Smash Burger surprised me with a well seasoned black bean burger with even a bit of crunch. It did not even remotely taste like southwest seasoning and I couldn't have been more delighted. The French fries were crispy and fresh. My server, Tamara, was very pleasant and provided great service. Highly recommend!

This place was BUSY. Despite being an airport food place it was a win. Great food. They got my food out pretty fast considering the huge lone of customers. My compliments.

Google
Took forever, food was hard and crusty, the lemonade tastes moldy. Someone needs to contact Health department on them ASAP! $20 for a small burger! Denver Airport sucks!

Google
If your layover is shorter than three hours, good luck lol. Food took forever. Waiter took forever. Food was cold. Ranch was warm. Bread was stale. Order was wrong. Had to ask the bartender for things like napkins, silverware, straws, etc (bartender was NOT in charge of my order). Took over an hour to even pay, almost missed my flight.

Google
The burgers are amazing! Hot, fresh, very tasty. Fries were also very good and I wanted to try one of the shakes but already spent a ton on 2 order of fries, 2 cheese burgers and a chicken sandwich. Believe the hype on the food here as they are legit! The 2 employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful.

Google
Food was delicious l. We ordered the smash burger, chicken tenders and grilled Cesar salad. The wait was about 15 minutes but the food was hot and fresh and well needed after a long plane ride. Service was good.

Google
I ordered a single and a double smash burger and fries for my wife and myself while waiting for a connecting flight at Denver airport . This cost over 32 dollars, it’s just the airport way, I guess. The order and pick up system of calling an order number out unintelligibly into a loud, busy airport corridor while standing behind a counter was chaotic and inefficient. After a few minor order confusions, my order came out in around 10 minutes. Checking the bag to ensure I did not get someone else’s order, I found that the fries were missing. I inquired about this issue and was told, “We out of fries.” A burger joint out of fries?! “We not cookin’ fries” may have been a truer statement. Given this predicament, having paid for fries as part of the purchase but receiving none, I suggested perhaps substituting a soft drink in lieu of not getting what I actually paid for. “No,” I was told. “”I get you next time you come.” These folks did nothing to accommodate me or countless others for this poor customer service rip off. If ever I fly back through Denver in this lifetime, I will assuredly hold them to their word. On a lighter note, the burger was juicy and tasty regardless of the overall poor value.

Yelp
This Smashburger location makes great food. Went here as it was convenient in Terminal B during Denver airport layover. Ordered double cheeseburger and the meat patties were crazy good. Semi-crunchy outside and tender inside, lots of flavor with good saltiness. Fries were just ok and not as slender & tender inside as they used to be. Service was relatively fast given all the business they were getting, and staff was very good for a more pressure-packed airport location. A very well-run operation here.

Yelp
This was my first experience with Smash Burger. Since it's an airport location, I won't base the entire chain on this experience. The walk up counter doesn't have enough room for all of the customers so you end up waiting in the hallway and hope that people will call out your order #. The French fries were ok to half decent. The burger (Double) was marginal at best. It almost had a burned flavor to it. The woman taking my order was very nice and helpful. Other than that, I would definitely pass on eating here on my next stop at the Denver airport.

Yelp
This particular Smashburger is at the airport in Denver. It is packed every time I walk by here. I saw an empty chair at the bar and had a hour to wait for my flight. I decided to go for it. So glad I did. There were several TV showing different games. And I am a people watcher, lots to look at. I got one of their lagers. They have several great beers on tap and a full bar. Bartenders are trying their best, but super busy. I did sit there for quite a while before I was able to order. Maybe a few more servers on shift? I did not get a Smashburger today. I chose to get their chicken fingers. I must say they were pretty tasty. Crispy and juicy on the inside. I think that maybe next time I'll get a burger.

Yelp
Not really understanding some of the reviews but I guess anywhere can have a bad day. Seating available at bar immediately when I got there. The bartender was working her butt off to take care of everyone. She did me a favor and cashed a $20 for me to make tip money for my trip home. She was energetic, friendly, and attentive to check on my food when she thought it was taking a bit long. Turns out they were waiting for the bacon to cook. The bacon on my Double Bacon Smashburger was WELL worth the wait!! Food came out hot and it was delicious. I've had worse burgers at expensive gastropubs. Highly recommend if you're in the Denver airport.

Yelp
Service - excellent. I guess it's timing for seating at the airport, I was seated immediately but the people behind me were not so lucky, there was a long line forming. Food - ordered the smash burger with fries and the meat patty was so small - about the size of McDonalds. It was way over cooked. The burger was not hot at all and probably sat there, maybe that's why my order was served in 5 minutes. Ambiance- there was a bar in the middle of the restaurant and it was packed.

Yelp
I usually enjoy Smashbuther but as it usually goes, the airport concourse version of any restaurant usually pales in comparison to the actual location. This was no exception. Service was slower. Food was not as good and the price was nearly double. To be seated we had to wait at the podium for ten minutes while employees just walked past us. It's like since options are limited and we are a captive audience in airports, standards and customer service are basically optional. The beer was like warm and the waitress never stopped once to check on us. She sure brought the 60 dollar bill for two people fast enough though. I wasn't impressed and if this was a local eatery in my neighborhood I would never be back. It was clean and well lit and the trash was taken care of regularly. It just lacked any personal feeling at all. Travelers just don't matter it seems.
google avatar

Yelp
Ok. It is the airport so prices are going to be higher. Also, it's a sit down restaurant with servers, it's going to take a little longer to get your food. But when we fit it m, it was good. The grilled chicken sandwich could use some type of sauce to make it better, but our double cheeseburger was great. We ordered smashed tots and fries but only got fries when it came out. They made it right though. If we ran into another Smash Burger restaurant somewhere else, wed'd definitely eat there again.

Wolfgang M.

Yelp
Service always sucks here. People aren't happy. I always tip 25% and did 18%. If you don't want to do this job, go find something which makes you smile. Food always lukewarm. Killing your business.

Yelp
I came here during a layover, and was satisfied. They were only serving breakfast at the time. I knew this because an employee yelled it at me as I walked up "WE ARE SERVING BREAKFAST ONLY". Thanks. I hear you loud and clear. I ordered the breakfast smash burger. it had bacon, beef patty, egg, lettuce, cheese. The bacon was undercooked. I took those pieces off and I was really disappointed. Overall the breakfast "burger" was decent. It was a little dry. The tater tots with the order were crispy and light which was nice. I would probably go back again, if it wasn't so expensive, and maybe for lunch instead of breakfast. The service wasn't the best, the employees were very short. I am not sure why they weren't open for that long, but who knows everyone has bad days. Took about 7 minutes for food to be ready.

Yelp
Okay so what started off rocky... totally turned into a fun experience, thanks to the bartender and other patrons that sat next to me. Smashburger is a chain that can also be found in California, so for foods - this place produces good burgers. I wouldn't recommend the Smash tots because they are too oily, drenched in Olive Oil. Otherwise the burgers are worth it. The bar is the best place to sit and people watch. You also get to meet some cool other passengers from different cities.
google avatar

Josh Y.

Yelp
In a hurry? Don't come here. Has to be the slowest "fast food" I've ever experienced. The kicker was waiting five minutes to place an order while the cashier did random other tasks like shelving bottles. Remarkable. Avoid.

Yelp
The aptly named Smashburger and Bar is located in one arm of the Southwest "C" gates. The most important thing to remember about reviews of food at an airport is context. You need to remember what is happening to the reviewer. The first thing to keep in mind is the smashburgers located in the Denver airport. I had just flown several hours in the earliest morning flight that I could find. So I had suffered from some hours of mild turbulence, was suffering from complete sleep deprivation, and hadn't had any food in about 14 hours. I took a peek at the bar menu and decided the food looked OK. It looked normal burgers and egg and vegetable sandwiches, etc.. since it was 9 AM in the morning Denver time I was really curious why almost every single person sitting in the restaurant was drinking and I mean the alcoholic stuff. What did they know that I didn't? Service was swift and efficient I was standing in the line outside and someone came out of the restaurant bring me over to the empty seat. The bartender was swift and efficient with my order. I also noticed he kept that bar spotlessly clean. he was exceptionally good at dealing with sleep deprived zombie-like customers. My food order arrived and it became most clear this place is a greasy spoon. The food quantity was just fine but that layer of cooking oil.... Sadly, my adventure eating here wasn't over when I left. My meal revisited me over the next 2-3 hours. And it was slowly getting worse instead of better. Finally I got up and almost fell from dizziness. Until now I'd attributed it all to greasy food plus turbulence. But now it was pretty clear altitude sickness had to be added to the mix. If this Smashburger were located at a humane location I would give it 3 stars, the service is fast, the food is greasy but palatable. But unfortunately it's located in the Denver airport. Customers too jet lagged and sleep deprived to defend themselves are drawn by their the scent of warm food. There isn't a hint anywhere in there about altitude sickness. Nor is there much reminder about what turbulence and connecting flights could do to your meal. Food 2 stars - very oily Service 4 stars - swift efficient clean Ambiance- crowded Suitable for air travelers in Denver? Zero stars Sadly, Yelp does not allow us to set phasers to destruct even for passenger safety.

Yelp
Smash burger in Denver is much better than smash in Boise. Still can't go wrong. It's a good burger. Ordered at 9:00 am after they shortly opened. The waiter we had (older) gave me the Bloody Mary instead of a beer. I formed her that is not what I ordered and she told me that is what I ordered very rudely and got me a beer. ( young lady next to me agreed that I did order a beer). She was very snippy and rude during the whole time. Stood over me as I tipped. Almost did not give her a tip, but thought it may be her only good tip of the day if she keeps this up.

Yelp
First time having Smashburger was at the airport! Usually something I regret, this was such a nice win! We got lucky and it wasn't too busy to sit down and dine in. I tried the Colorado Burger (Certified Angus Beef, pepper jack cheese, melted cheddar cheese, grilled Anaheim chiles, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, toasted spicy chipotle bun) and my dude tried the Double Bacon Smash (Certified Angus Beef, American cheese, applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, toasted bun). He opted for tots and I tried their fries. Everything was SO SO good. Like the perfect, filling meal for a long flight. Sauces were great and service was FAST! I appreciated this experience and will try Smashburger again in the future :) Caution: floors are super slippery and customers are quite rude to the staff...

Yelp
Not much to recommend here except convenience. We stopped between gates changing planes at Terminal C at this take-out counter adjacent to a bar/restaurant. The line was short (only 3 ahead of me), but the order taking (2/5) was very slow. We ordered Classic Smash Burger (3/5) which came with French Fries (1/5). The burger was tasty but very dry. Raw onions are cut too thick causing toppings to slide out of the bun. Fries were cold and flavorless.
google avatar

Jennifer F.

Yelp
It's an airport restaurant so of course it's not going to be super fancy, overly polite, or stellar. But as far as airport restaurants go, this one was perfectly fine. The food was quite good (the burgers are going to run you $16.55 no matter which option you choose). It came out quickly. The staff was really nice, not on par with a sit-down non-airport restaurant, but still polite. More polite than they were at Chili's, anyway. I didn't drink any beer but it seemed like they were out of quite a few tappers that were accommodated with canned and bottled beer.

Yelp
Terrible food , Terrible Service, Overpriced. Wanted to order a cheese burger, clerk said it's breakfast now so ordered 3 breakfast "BURGERS" with only cheese. Do no go to this place if your brain is functioning. They gave us cold buns that were stale with one slice of American cheese on each one. For the low price of $30. These people must be high or something to be this dumb. Then when I complain that there's no burger in my smash "Burger" they idiots give me 3 deep fried turds to put on the buns myself. If I was not at an airport I would be in the news for verbally pummeling these dweebs. Gonnna call corporate and have words with them. Stay tuned

Yelp
this is for the grab & go side of the business: they took 20 minutes to take a single order - no one was at the register for 20 whole minutes and people kept getting in line and leaving!! DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU THINK ITLL BE A QUICK THING TO PICK UP !!! the person at the cashier was rude and didn't care about my requests for my order - i just wanted truffle mayo lol 20 minutes to just order and another 30 to get your food like damn )-: also $15 for 3 small chicken tenders is so wild. just got to mcdonald's lol

Yelp
Just got to Denver for a 3 hour layover and needed something to eat bad! I truly wanted Quiznos but it was in a different concourse so I said forget it and got Smashburger! Overall look of the restaurant was cool; really just a walk up counter and to the right of it is a bar/seating area. We order two smash burgers with bacon. One was single, the other double. And two orders of tater tots. The customer service was pretty good. The younger gentleman working was personable and nice. We got our food about 5-10 minutes later and we went to go find somewhere to sit near our terminal. I probably killed my meal in a matter of 2 minutes. That thing was delicious. The meat and cheese were great and the bun made it so much better! Thank you guys for the amazing burger!
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
We had some time to kill over lunch while on layover and I had a burger craving. I was hesitant to come here due to the poor reviews, but decided to give it a go (to just the pick up & go window). We thought it was ok - we had a bit of a wait (10 minutes?) and things seemed like they could have been done in a more orderly fashion, but in the end my burger & fries hit the spot.
google avatar

Siobhan D.

Yelp
A bit too salty for my taste, and took about 10 minutes to get my burger and fries, so don't order if you are in a rush to your gate, but staff was awesome and the burger was nutritious and filling with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles. Fries were too salty so I only ate a few, but they were nicely slender and perfect crisp.
google avatar

Bryan N.

Yelp
I'm not sure why the ratings are so low for this place. I expected airport food to be on the pricier side, so that should be a non-issue when making my review. I'm a Californian with access to In-n-Out burger (still the best btw for taste and value) and I thought the classic double here was really good even though it was the last burger of the day (I was literally the last customer before closing). The fact that they were able to produce a really tasty burger at closing speaks volumes. Recommended stop if you're in between flights!

Yelp
2.5 stars. I've been on a country-wide Smashburger kick ever since one location in Denver hosted a Yelp Elite event. Decided to have a late-night meal at DEN, grateful that SOMETHING was open. Super disappointed that they ran out of green chiles and ANY IPAs. BOOOO. The burger I ended up getting (though it looked smashed) was pretty good, and the tater tots are always on-point. Service was great. There were quite a few tables plus the bar so nothing felt crowded. There was one waitress running the whole place, and I was amazed by her speed and efficiency. She wasn't even apologetic about out-of-stock items since that's not her fault. Wouldn't rush back to Smashburger for a future airport meal but glad it's a solid last resort option.
google avatar

Nancy M.

Yelp
Waited forever for the hostess and when she arrived she was rude. Extremely disappointed. The sign said wait to be seated so we did. There were plenty of open tables but we are rule followers. When she finally decides to come over she just points to an empty table and says there's a table right there. So I said, well the sign said to wait and she barks, that's why I'm telling you there's a table. She didn't bring us menus or welcome us or do anything you'd expect a hostess to do. Thankfully the staff that waited on us was much nicer. The restaurant itself needs some work. The booth I sat on was ripped to shreds. The food was good. I'm waffling between a two star and a three star because truly the hostess's attitude and the booth material need a serious update but I'm feeling generous so will given them an overall three.
google avatar

Karl A.

Yelp
This place is a train wreck. There was a floor covered in creamer, and the person working the register walked away to "take a 5 minute phone call" (her words). There were about 12 people waiting for food and it took over 20 minutes to get my order. The fries were overcooked and dry. Not worth what I paid. Try another option...
google avatar

Samantha V.

Yelp
Came for a quick dinner in between flights at Denver international. The meal left me feeling sad I spent $15 on it. Although the service was fast (it wasn't very busy) the size of the patty left me questioning why it was so pricey. I know it's an airport but I would've rather paid for an overpriced salad.
google avatar

Patrick C.

Yelp
Had Mario as the bartender and he was amazing. Gave some great suggestions on drinks and food. Got the burger with peppers and it was good with delicious taste to it. If Mario working you will be good
google avatar

Joanne T.

Yelp
Not bad for airport food. Not a good place if you want quick service. I waited at the front of the line for 15 minutes before anyone took my order.
google avatar

Ms. Krystall M.

Yelp
While traveling, I was so hungry so I stopped to get a sandwich. I ordered the egg, cheese and sausage breakfast sandwich on a multigrain bun. It came with tots and I ordered a cup of coffee. The meal wasn't too expensive but the service could be improved. It's chaotic! Once you pay, they pour your coffee and place it on the counter next to the sugar- wide open. The food took forever and the staff are yelling at the cooks because they were taking long, not making stuff right or not labeling items. Overall, my food was good but they need to fix the ambiance and service
google avatar

Catalina L.

Yelp
Chill airport vibes and nice to hang out at the bar. They're short staffed so service was a bit slow, but our server Zulia was very nice. There are tables and to go food. The bar seats had plugs to charge your electronics. Beers are $10 each on tap which is kind of pricey. The Colorado Kolsch by Steamworks brewing was great - almost honey notes. The White Rascal Belgian White by Avery Brewing is more nutty but nice. Had some smash fries to snack on which were tasty with the garlic and rosemary. Definitely a smaller portion than if you went to a non-airport Smashburger, but it's an airport so generally a good experience and not crowded

Keith S.

Yelp
Took over an hour to order and a half hour get our food. When we received our food the order was wrong. I had the last order served at 20:00. They ended up shutting down before the people behind me that already ordered had received their food. They usually close at 23:00. I hope they got their money back. I wish they would have shut down before they gave me my order. I couldn't eat it. It was chunks of ground meat. I know it's a smash burger but it is usually a patty. We ordered fry's, they told me there wasn't any more so they gave me tots. I was desperate so I agreed. Any way, this was the worst fast food experience I ever experienced.
google avatar

Lauren L.

Yelp
Service was a little slow, but fine. Food was about what we expected from a fast food chain turned sit-down restaurant. No complaints from us! I had the Colorado burger with a single black bean patty instead of meat. It paired nicely with the pepper jack cheese and green chiles. Like many black bean burgers, it was a little mushy, but held together well. The fries were fries. Decent, but not phenomenal on the spectrum of fried potato products. We were in, out, and at our gate in under an hour. Prices were fine for airport dining. We paid about $56, including tip, for two burgers, fries, sweet potato fries, a soda, and a beer. A quick note: If it's not obvious, I am grading on a curve here. I give it four stars for a fast food/sit-down spot in an airport.
google avatar

Rona M.

Yelp
Let me first mention that I am a Smashburger fan - but this Smashburger in Terminal C of DIA is horrible, they should not be allowed to use the Smashburger name. The tots tasted like they had been cooked 3 weeks ago and reheated over and over since - hard as hockey pucks. Both breakfast sandwiches were cold - my eggs were room temp but literally the cheese slice on the sandwich was fridge cold. With soft drinks the meal for two of us was $55 - I might as well have just put a $50 bill thru a shredder. Don't eat here - they should be ashamed of the food they are putting out under the Smashburger name.
google avatar

Jose I.

Yelp
What a great name for a burger shop; it is appealing--a good vibe, especially in most of its airport locations. Customer servers displayed knowledge of how to get things done. Here you won't find too many burger options, but the concept behind the available burgers is clever. However, flavor-wise, I must acknowledge that it is average, far from outstanding. The branding is much better than the final product. Besides the burgers, the fries lacked flavor. I went out of my way and tried the chocolate milkshake made of Haagen Daz ice cream. To my surprise, that sweet indulgence fell short.
google avatar

Winnie C.

Yelp
This worker is really rude if you see him working at the counter turn around don't even order from here doesn't speak clearly and is super rude when you asked for extra condiments.
google avatar

Richard C.

Yelp
They have no business running an airport food stand. Prepare to wait an hour for a seemingly short "grab and go" line to even take your order, much less deliver your actual food. If you have a flight to catch and need to eat before it, either go elsewhere or fly hungry. There's a MacDonalds nearby.
google avatar

Angela H.

Yelp
I love the fresh made burgers, hot dogs and French fries!!!!!Your fixings are free and you have a lot of choices from raw to grilled!!! The orders are correct and fast!!!!!

L I.

Yelp
So I can't rate the food because I never got to eat. When I sat at the bar, I was getting my shoulder bag together with my roller carry on suitcase, and the bartender walked out behind the bar, stood behind me, and told me I needed to move my suitcase behind my chair. I said, I will of course, and finally got my bag attached and put behind my chair. Not in the middle of the aisle, but right up against the back of my chair- touching it. The bartender was shifting chairs around me during this time and when I put the suitcase behind me, she walked up, grabbed my suitcase, moved it back then slammed it back up against the back of my chair- very aggressive and absolutely unnecessary. Seriously, this is a true story. I sat for a moment somewhat shocked and confused, then said screw this, and left. I am just so disappointed this bartender felt she had to make some sort of point in this way. I will never go there again and will absolutely never recommend this restaurant to anyone- it only takes one bad experience. I get that the workforce is slim pickings right now, but this person should not be working with the public in any capacity. I imagine she will be fired soon if this is how she approaches customers. Good riddance.
google avatar

Jacob N.

Yelp
It's a little tight at the bar but the service is quick and the burger was solid. If you are seeing a line to sit down you may be able to sneak around and find a high chair at the bar area.
google avatar

Joshua T.

Yelp
Poorly run location; we came to grab a pre-flight bite and ended up standing there for ten minutes waiting at the "please wait to be seated" sign while no one was seated, greeted or even acknowledged in the line. Bartenders went back and forth from the restaurant seating area to behind the bar, tables emptied, bar seats became available and still no one bothered doing anything. It's obvious that this location lacks any sort of decent oversight or leadership, as the complete dearth of any care or attention to customers *lining up* to be served just proves the problem has to be systemic. For no fewer than three staff members to completely avoid any interaction whatsoever means that they were either trained poorly or overseen incorrectly. I'm not saying that they're not bad at their job, as they demonstrably terrible at service and awareness. But this should have been corrected by management.

Yelp
I love smash burger, and frequent it often. This one was by far one of the slowest I've ever been too. Waited in line for roughly 25 mins. Then when I ordered you could tell the person at the register was struggling so I gave her my name in the shortest way possible "joe". Ordered a chicken sandwich and Diet Coke. The Diet Coke was warm and after opening it, the bottle exploded All over the place. I guess someone must of just recently dropped it and decided to still put it in the cold serve case. After another 20 minute wait I finally got my food, but not after standing there for minutes as they called for "John". I had to finally walk up to the counter, and ask what the food was to determine if it was me they were calling out for. This location seriously needs a little more organization or restructuring, but I guess it is the airport, and I shouldn't of expected fast, to-go, to be fast. Sadly, if you're trying to get something quick because your flight is nearing the time then I highly recommend skipping at risk of not getting your food before your flight arrives. I want to make clear that the woman at the register didn't have bad service, but something was off if she couldn't spell joe. Also, want to say that the food wasn't bad either. Just hard to fully enjoy something when you had an expectation of something fast, but you watch a person walk in to their bar, have a beer, food and make payment just as you're receiving your food.

Matt T.

Yelp
Charged us for a gluten free bun but they were out. They asked to sub lettuce wrapped which was fine. Asked them to refund the gluten free bun and no one knew how so they gave me one dollar out of the til? The gf bun was $2.60 The "lettuce wrap" was a pile of shredded lettuce. Then they tried to charge us for silverware to eat the pile of lettuce.

Yelp
The server was a snob to me, made me move seats even though 5 tables were open. When I ordered she said "that's it?" with complete disrespect and then came back to say they didn't have what I ordered. Including club soda. The customers all around me said how rude she was to me and them previously. Horrible customer service, I've never even written a review on yelp and had to just because the audacity of this woman. I immediately left.

Yelp
If you're having a great day and want to turn it around to a truly miserable day, this is your place! Wow, management had to search far and wide for the least friendly people they could find. What a bunch of rude, unfriendly servers. Food was great; service and friendliness were rock bottom. Go to a vending machine for lunch and don't ruin your day.

Yelp
As far as airport food goes, my salad was so worth the price! It was packed with yummy lettuce, vegetables and grilled chicken. I ate the WHOLE THING! Since they didn't have my $18 a glass of Chardonnay wine, I chose to get a $16 margarita. So good! Our waitress was very friendly and made sure we got our food quickly so as not to miss our flight!

Yelp
Food was clearly made by someone who doesn't care. The "special" tots I was sold on had all of the flavoring on three of them. The service was dismal and I witnessed one walkout and heard complaints from several folks. There are much better options at Denver airport.

Yelp
I genuinely enjoyed a breakfast sandwich in an airport, which certainly exceeded my expectations and typical experience. It was egg and cheese with smoked ham, all of which worked together so well, both flavors and textures. This is my second time at this spot in the past couple of weeks. The first time I dined in for lunch, and Lory provided great service. The wrap and sweet potato fries were fine, nothing extraordinary, but a solid choice. Some people have obviously had negative experiences, based on some reviews I read, but if you're at this end of the C concourse in Denver and need a spot to stop and eat, I would recommend getting seated at a table and ordering something that looks good.

Yelp
My burger featured applewood bacon. I'm 99.9% my bacon was not applewood. I ordered the truffle fries and I'm pretty I got regular fries with some splash of rosemary. My bun was so hard!!! Ohh and so dry, no mayo. The server stopped by the table 10 mins after we got our food and asked if we were ready to pay out. As my friend took her first bite. I asked her to give us some time while we finished eating. Ohh and the server was a total robot, running low on battery. Actually, a robot can do better! The fried pickles, looked and tasted like they were drowned in oil, and not the good oil. Really upset with the service and the food. The only good thing was the Oreo shake.

Yelp
We had a LONG delay for our flight, so we wanted to relax somewhere rather than sitting amongst kids/babies/tons of people. And hubby wanted a beer so we came here. I didn't expect much, and didn't get it; I ordered a black bean patty on my salad, his as a burger; took FOREVER and was told the cooks made me chicken instead...ok, no problem. LONG while later, food arrives; mine's ok but hubby's is def. WRONG, only knew this after biting into it and it's real meat. Gross, we had to flag down our guy and send it back. He admitted he grabbed the wrong plate; by the time he exchanged it for the right one, hubby's sandwich had sat in the window so long it was cold and dried out. I wanted to send it back or have it comped, but he was starving and aggravated by then. Understandable. He had 2 beers; one was $10, the other $10.50--SAME EXACT BEER, within an hr. of each other! Doubtful they have 'happy hour' at 1PM so no idea why this happened but just wanted to get out of there and read my book! Won't return. $70 with tip for crap, not a great ending to our trip! :(
