Place fairly quiet when we visited . Ordered downstairs and food delivered upstairs . Got order wrong but sorted easily enough. Burger absolutely gorgeous way worthy of a 5 star. Smash tots a bit greasy tho

I had concerns this would be a tourist trap being so close to Times Square, but the sign looked so good I had to try it. I'm SO glad I did. These burgers are awesome. It was legitimately a great burger, not a "this is cruddy food but you'll eat it cause you're already there" situation at all. And $11 for the classic double was absolutely worth it. I can't wait to go again.

Ate here Sep. 21 and got my meal to go. Got the classic Smash burger, fries, and a drink (tractor Strawberry Dragon fruit). Burger was super salty and lacked much flavour (but not the worst I've had). Fries had a chicken taste to them and I wish I could describe it better. Also very greasy. The drink (forgot to take a picture) was honestly the best part about my dinner. I wish they had ketchup packets to go. Servers themselves are quick and friendly Prices are decent but there are better burger places out there

Smashburger really surprised me! I was expecting something closer to fast food with an average burger, but the burger was actually amazing. The flavors were fresh, and everything was well-prepared. I definitely recommend it!

The fact that they don’t give you bathroom code until you get a receipt from the order is horrible. We were waiting in line and my kid needed to use the restroom. Very unhealthy practice. The potato tots were soaked in oil with nothing underneath them to absorb the oil. Everything was extremely oily. It’s like we paid to consume oil. Tables were not wiped cleaned. We had to do it ourselves

Very great place everything was delicious, the management and staff were knowledgeable and able to accommodate my weird meat allergy I had a chicken smash and my husband had a regular double smash burger off the menu

Cold, tough, dehydrated, excessively salty overpriced wings. Tasted like they were leftover the previous night and sold again first thing in the morning. And that's the standard for wings you get even with 20% tips. Should not give any tips to this outlet at all before receiving your food. Mind you, those half wings were close to $12 for 6 cold miserable pieces. Classic smash burger was delicious. Would be nice if buns were better toasted.

First impression is everything and honestly, the place was nasty. We had to clean our own table. Drinks fountains were only half working and then our food came. The food was hot. My tater tots were cool to perfection but my wife and my son french fries were cold. And old tasting. I’m definitely a foodie and I am disappointed in Smashburger. I can’t say that the employees were nice and greeted us with a smile. If I try Smashburger again, it won’t be this location.

This place is dynamite good! Very clean space. Clean dining room tables and a friendly staff. The lady took my order while she was mopping the floor and remembered it perfectly too when she went back to the cash register. Burger was delicious and juicy just how I like it. Gooey melted cheese for each bite just how I like it. I ordered an All-American Smashburger and an All-American Double Smashburger. Finished the double smash but couldn't get through the single. I was stuffed and I didn't even order fries. If I wanted to, I loved the fact I had the options of fries, waffle fries, or tater tots. Loaded or unloaded. I will definitely be back to try them. Only thing I didn't like was the super thick bun, something softer and not as thick would have been great, but still tasty! I definitely recommend!

Loved loved loved!! The staff were super nice and upfront! The tips on the card machine do not go to them so please do not tip! I made that mistake and she explained to me that it goes to the company versus the employees so I will no longer be tipping establishments via the card. The establishment was clean, the food was hot and delicious! The sweet potatoes fries are superior and the swiss mushroom is very flavorful! Can't wait to go back when I am in town!

It was my first time trying smashburger and I enjoyed it! I got the truffle mushroom burger. My husband got the double bacon burger. We got the smash fries and sweet potato fries. Everything was really delicious! It just took like 30 mins for our order. The cashier was yelling at the chefs like come on!! Lauren! Trying to get my order. She was mad with their speed. I don't know why they took so long.

Cold, wet and so salty. The actual place is nice. Decently clean and enough seating. But the burger was cold? And really really salty

Delicious and consistent food. I love their rosemary smash fries and their sweet potato fries. Only place I would get sweet potato fries. Unfortunately the issue with this location is the layout and fact that they're very understaffed. I stopped by on a Friday to pick up a mobile order I placed 25+ minutes ago. There was one person working the cash register and packing orders and two cooks. Lots of customers waiting around for their food and to order. If only it was safe enough to have my order sit on the pick up shelf, it would have made the interaction much better. I had to wait around with all the other people. I online ordered for a fast and efficient pickup but that was not the case. Regarding the layout, they have seating upstairs. Downstairs was the ordering counter and drink and condiments station. It was all in the same area. The space they have for people to wait for their order is in the same area people would stand to get their drinks and condiments. Way too crowded. The layout the location by Penn station is much better and spacious.

Smashburger was such a good lunch spot. I got their double bacon brisket burger which was so yummy. The bacon and brisket tasted so smokey and was stacked amazingly. Along with the burger i got their sweet thai wings and garlic rosemary wings. The garlic wings were so good and crispy and the sweet thai had a nice small building heat. Along with these i got the tots and a oreo milkshake. The tots were nice ebut would have loved doubled the amount as it felt too little of sn amount. The milkshake was thick and had a good amount of oreo chunks. Will have to return and try their other menu items. The food came out at the exact time they mentioned so you know they are on it, when you order.

Got their BOGO smash burger here . I ordered the single Truffle mushroom burger and the spicy jalapeño Jack cheese burger . It took about 27-30 minutes to come out considering the kitchen / grill is not big enough to take all the orders at once ! The have seats upstairs but I was in a rush to get home ! I did like both burgers , there not as big but I do I like the taste. You go and order at there cashier and tell her/ Him your name . My. Name was misspelled so I had to really tell them it's me when my food come up! This location is by the PORT authority bus terminal. It looks interesting to eat here but I think I pass on this place considered the long wait for a burger. I didn't get any napkins w/ my to go order. Which should take no more than 12 minutes from start to finish. Unless it's empty don't waste your time for 30 plus minutes for a burger. Especially if you have a show Togo thanks !

I really wanted to give a higher review...the female employee was friendly and patient with me while I decided what to order but the burger was very salty. The fries were very plain. Unfortunately I would say just walk over to the many other burger places nearby.

First, let me start by saying I appreciate this restaurant for always providing quality customer service. Star at the front counter is very helpful and patient. There is an upstairs dining area as well. This location has seating and a bathroom. The burger was made fresh and the options for drinks are great. I recommend the strawberry dragonfruit.

This is our third time here in the last year, and we consistently get good burgers at a nice price. We passed fancier restaurants with table service and $20 burgers to come here. We got a friendly cashier who rung up our order quickly, and a pleasant young man who brought us our correct order: one double bacon smash burger with large fries and one single bacon smash burger. Our bill was under $30 including a 15% tip. We sat upstairs to eat at a table for two, and watched people come in, line up, and order delicious burgers like ours. Some stayed, occupying tables upstairs with us. Others took their orders out. Upstairs is a drink dispenser and we used it to fill our water bottles. Our receipt had a code for the bathrooms, which is why they are clean and have what you need. Instead of individual packets of ketchup, we used a full sized bottle for our fries. We'll keep coming back for great service and excellent burgers and fries.

Place is located right next to the bus terminal and only one block away from Times Square. This is the second time I have walked into this place, but the first time I did not order anything because the line was not really moving. This time the line was only 2 ppl in front. I ordered the avocado club double smash, and a side of smash fries. The burger looked and tasted good, the fries looked greasy, but tasted good as well. I only waited like 5 minutes for my food, and since I ordered to dine in, they brought it to me. Place looked pretty clean. They do offer discounts for certain outfits, so don't be afraid to ask. Oh, and good look finding parking, this is NY.

Generally I like smash burgers. My fiance and I sometimes just crave the double classic burger and smash tots, and it is consistently good. And the location not only is relatively close to where we live, the location has a good amount of seating. That being said, this location is constantly understaffed. Usually it takes a while to order, as the cashier will often need to do several other tasks. And at most there are like 2-3 people actually cooking the food, even during really busy times. Without fail, there is a decent sized line waiting to order or pick up food. The staff themselves do their best, and do a wonderful job. But I would ask that management ramp up their staffing to ensure that stations are appropriately manned.

I recently visited Smash Burger, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. When I was ready to place my order, the server stayed on her phone for at least three minutes while I waited. This lack of attention was already disappointing, but it only got worse. After she finally put her phone away and my husband began to order, she abruptly shouted to the back to check if they had chicken. A gentleman then approached, and as he was answering her, he proceeded to grab his crotch. This was extremely unprofessional and off-putting. At that point, we decided we had had enough. We told the server "never mind" and walked out, heading next door to Chick-fil-A. As always, the customer service at Chick-fil-A was top-notch, providing a stark contrast to our experience at Smash Burger. Additionally, I noticed that the kitchen at Smash Burger did not look very clean, which added to our decision to leave. It's unfortunate because I know the owner/investor would not want their establishment to be run this way. This was my first and last time visiting Smash Burger.

I came here for what I thought would be a "quick" bite to-go before my bus to the airport. My food took SO long (~30 min) to come out that I was running to my bus, which of course I ended up missing. It was pretty amazing how many of us were waiting for food (~25 people), while all the employees were sitting around joking except the 2 people at the grill. I totally appreciate made-to-order food, so if you want that and you're okay to wait at least 30 min for your food to come out at a fast-casual burger place, then come here. Personally, I will never be back. Avoid at all costs. Unless you really like wasting your time waiting.

Such a convenient location. In Times Square and near several Broadway shows. My friend and I originally planned a Shake Shack visit, but it was too busy and no seating remained. This Smashburger is a good alternative. It's just a block or two down from it, and it's huge! It's 2 floors, and there's plenty of seating in this upper level. The meal as pictured was fine. P.S. The seating is a plus. Seating for two, four and for large group options.

Smashburger has the most delicious burgers and fries. My daughter and I have been eating at Smashburger for years. We used to belong to the rewards and get free food for our birthday. After the location we went to closed I'm not sure what happened to my rewards membership. Since then they opened two new locations. The food is just as good as always. If you haven't tried Smashburger you must! They prepare it fresh and your way. And don't forget the milkshake! No better review for my 3000th than to review Smashburger!

Veggie burger was really soggy and salty :/ I asked for just tomato and lettuce and they put cheese on it so I had to ask them for another. The lady was mad that I asked. Felt very busy and chaotic in there.

I rarely give 2 stars let alone 1 star so do the math. This was a very disappointing experience since we love Smashburger generally. This place was overly crowded as expected but it felt like the people working there were doing a slowdown strike. So many people were waiting and the workers were just talking to each other. I think only one person was making the burgers. Our order waited a long time on the counter where we could see it and eventually it was cold. BUT none of these are the reason for 1 star. There was an employee walking around in the kitchen whose pants were under his buttocks. We could see his underwear (which had a hole right in the middle by the way) right next to the food. It was beyond disgusting. I tried to not think of it while eating the burger and wouldn't have eaten if I hadn't waited that long and weren't starving. It is obvious that these people aren't paid enough and hate their jobs which is the fault of the company but also like at least the manager could warn the employees about the dress code. Noone wants to see that especially were food is made.

I cannot recommend this location. Burger came out burned. No napkins. No ketchup. Dining area was dirty. The staff was preoccupied with giving their friends free food. Luckily the person making the burger actually came forward to give me my food. I did get a show with dinner while someone rolled a joint on the coke maching.

Horrible, horrible... the guy before me could not get what he ordered and so he asks to be reimbursed... they actually made fun of him. Then I order a very large order and they told me they did not want to make me milkshakes anymore because they wanted to close (it was 30 minutes before closing!) Horrible management

I walk past Smash burger. See their glittering ad that they now serve delicious non-dairy shakes. Cool - I decide to give it a shot. Order it, they are out of all flavors but vanilla & peanut butter. Bought the peanut butter for $6.95 and then I get a shake filled 3/4th. Not even filled with any whipped cream. Yes, this is customer service for you. Please, I'm not giving into my craving next time and ever coming here again. Ended up donating the shake to a homeless guy, who said "God bless you".

The service was amazing, the manager (Miguel) had so many customers and he handled them well. He was kind to them and gave a menu to the customers at the back of the line, while he attended the ones in front of him. He knew how to multitask. He was really kind to me and my brother, we really appreciate him. The burger was really delicious, I went home satisfied, I cannot wait to go again with the rest of my family, they will be so happy. Thank you for creating a memorable experience for me and my brother.

Look at the variance in two large fries, chicken wings came with no dipping sauce ..very disappointing

I stopped by here for lunch with some friends after a particularly stressful day. This was my first time going to Smashburger in the city. The restaurant was spacious and had ample seating. The first floor had kitchen and seating was on the second floor. They have an elevator and two clean unisex bathrooms on the second floor. When ordering there was some confusion and even when I got my order. However, they were minor mishaps such as, bagging the wrong item to go. I ordered the salted caramel milkshake. It was creamy and delicious. It wasn't super sweet and it was vanilla milkshake with notes of caramel.  I got a crispy chicken sandwich with smash fries. The chicken was tender and tasty. The addition of avocado made it super delicious. The fries were cooked to perfection. I got the smash tots and the chicken tender kids meal to go. The smash tots were tasty but, I enjoyed the fries mostly. The tenders were yummy and I wished this was a part of the regular menu. Sadly, they forgot the other parts (the regular fries and drink) of the kids meal and only gave me the tenders. It was a definitely a delicious lunch and I can't wait to come back more sandwiches!

Got to try smashburger thanks to this Yelp elite event and I must say THANK YOU YELP! I've always seen smashburger around but I had 0 interest in trying them because I already have plenty of good burger spots, but ADD SMASHBURGER TO THE LIST! The food here is VERY good for being fast food. After you eat you don't feel terribly sluggish either like you would after McDonald's or another spot. You only get a sandwich, side, & drink with the Yelp event but YOU KNOW I had to try everything bwahahaha. Ordered both the regular fries & the smash tots & even though the regular fries were delicious, ALWAYS GET THE SMASH VERSION ohhhhh mannnnn that rosemary & garlic really took those already good fries to the next level! I never really cared for milkshakes but when it's free you can try things you never really liked before . Surprisingly I really liked their strawberry milkshake, soooo good. Ok now to the sandwiches. The spicy baja chicken sandwich was good. It won't change your life or anything, just a pretty good chicken sandwich nothing more nothing less. I had it without guac also. The BURGERS though, ohhhhhhh hell YESSSSS!!! i took one bite of that truffle mushroom swiss burger and knew that Yelp was on to something. Extremely good burger, it doesn't even feel like you're eating fast food. Now on to the best thing on their menu, THE DAAAAAMMMMNNN Chorizo Cheeseburger. This thing is something SERIOUS and I was extremely confused on why it was so good at a damn fast food place. I was so confused I had to do a little research on it (DON'T YOU DARE JUDGE ME). Apparently this famous chef named Rick Bayless who specializes in Mexican cuisine partnered with Smash burger to make this beautiful burger! I absolutely KNEW it had to be something. No fast food burger is THAT damn good without an explanation behind it Oh & yeah the staff was pretty awesome as well, very nice group of people. Great experience, thank you so much Yelp!

Service is shit. They attempt a semi-table service but servers aren't so bright to examine the whole dining area to find the number they are serving. I had to retrieve my own plate. And also observed server eating frites from an order in transit!!! There are better locations in NYC I think. I remember a spot in Brooklyn near Dekalb. It was great. There are better burgers in NYC including a 5-guys right around the corner.

I stopped by earlier today for the Yelp Elite event (thank you YelpNYC team and Smashburger!). I ordered the classic crispy chicken sandwich, smash fries, and the peppermint hot cocoa milkshake. My favorite item was the milkshake! While the smash fries were flavorful, my only complaint was that they were super oily (from the olive oil), and same with the chicken sandwich. By the time I got home, the paper bags (they double bagged my order) were completely soaked through with oil. I added an extra star because of the service. While the restaurant was super busy when I arrived (around 5:30pm during Santa Con), the staff tried their best to work as efficiently and quickly as possible.

The restaurant has two levels: first level where you order or pick up preordered items and the second floor with seating for dining in. They have labeled cubby holes for the various delivery services, hopefully eliminates some of the chaos for drivers. There's also an elevator to the second floor for those who need it, so the stairs shouldn't be a barrier. There's a decent amount of seating with tables set up to accommodate groups of 2 - 8 people. There was no line so I was able to order quickly. I was given a number to place on my table. The staff, from the woman who took my order to the guys who delivered my food, were all professional and efficient. My milkshake came out separately from the rest of my meal, which seems a little inefficient, especially since the food came out only about two minutes later. All told, it took just under 10 minutes for me to get my whole order. The tots were great: piping hot and crisp like they'd just come out of the fryer. The milkshake (mocha coffee, not my first choice but they were out of the gingerbread shake I'd initially wanted) was fine, just not as much coffee flavor as I'd have liked. The chorizo cheeseburger...had some issues. Not enough chorizo and the melted cheese was not. I guess it was some kind of cheese sauce that's solid and is supposed to melt over the hot burger. Something went wrong and what I got was partially melty, partially cold, congealed chunks of sauce. Not pleasant. This isn't really Smashburger's fault, but there's some major construction going on in the lot next door so it's pretty noisy and you can feel the vibrations of the machinery. Overall, it's a decent option for a quick bite near Times Square and Port Authority bus terminal.

Good, new location for the burger restaurant chain Smashburger in Midtown. Clean store with upstairs area to sit/eat and staff was nice and helpful. For my visit, I got the double spicy Baja with guac, Smashfries, and a peppermint hot chocolate shake (seasonal flavor). Currently, there are two holiday themed limited time shake flavors - peppermint hot chocolate and gingerbread. The smash fries are tasty done up version of regular fries and had no complaints on the burger.

This was my first Yelp event in NYC since I just moved this weekend and boy it did not disappoint! I went on a Sunday afternoon, so it was a little crowded but the cashiers were very nice and friendly and apologized for the long wait. I didn't catch my cashier's name, but he put VIP on my ticket after I told him I was there was the Yelp event lol. I got the truffle mushroom burger, sweet potato fries, and the salted caramel shake. The truffle mushroom burger was great - there were some crunchy bits of cheese which gave the burger great texture. There were so many sides to choose from (like brussel sprouts!) which I thought was pretty rare for a fast food type of joint. I had a difficult time figuring out what type of side I should get, but I chose the sweet potato fries in the end and they were delicious! Not soggy at all which is a A+ in my books. The shake was a lot bigger than I was expecting and I couldn't finish it all. :( It was delicious and not too sweet at all - the perfect end to a satisfying meal. Thanks again for hosting my first Yelp event in NYC! It was a great experience - from the service and food.

I came and checked this new place out thanks to our Yelp Elite event. 5/5 service. All the workers were so nice and attentive. I got up searching for utensils and someone noticed right away, and he told me I can sit back down as he will bring my utensils for me. Wesley and Dylan.. I think were the names? And there was one more guy who were just such a delight to talk to! They came to check up on me while I was eating to make sure that my order came out right and that I had everything I needed. 5/5 ambiance. This place was clean and very spacious. On the first floor, there is some seating area for you to wait for your food, but upstairs is also very spacious and clean. Pretty clean and modern design, nothing too out of the ordinary. 4/5 food. I mean, you get what you expect. Brussel sprouts were a little undercooked, but I understand because I also struggle with cooking it well so that the insides are also cooked!! They were also huge so I get it. Milkshake did take a bit longer to come out, but they did have a lot of orders that night. It wasn't too overly sweet which I appreciated, but was a little hard to drink out of the straw. Plenty of avocados and bacon in my burger, so I left feeling full and content!

I ordered a truffle mushroom burger, french fries, and a coffee smoothie. I'm never a big fan of smoothies so not gonna comment too much on that. (But just saw on their ig that their smoothies are made with Haggen Dazs ice creams, which sounds nice) The burger itself is kinda bland, not juicy at all. I feel like the bread's not toasted as well. French fries are ok, crispy but again a bit bland. Staffs are friendly. I do hope that when they checked people's vaccination records for indoor dining, they could check their ID as well.

I had the privilege of visiting Smashburger for the Yelp elite week event and was delighted to see that Smashburger had something for everyone, whether you're vegan, a carnivore, dairy loving, or otherwise. Often times with burger joints there aren't many vegetarian options to choose from (let alone fun varieties) but Smashburger delivered. I had a mushroom truffle Swiss black bean burger (my first time having a black bean burger actually!), haystack onions, and a peppermint hot cocoa milkshake. My only qualm was that both savory items were a little too salty for my liking, but that's a sensitivity I tend to have to a lot of foods so I can't say whether it was me or the food. The specific milkshake flavor I got was seasonal (and had some chewy peppermint bits throughout and very good) but there was a plethora to choose from otherwise (and all are made from Haagen daaz ice cream!) What stood out to me the most was the impeccable service. The young lady at the register was so helpful and accommodating and really sweet. When I had gotten my food an employee came by to ask if I needed anything else which was unexpected but appreciated! The place is really clean and roomy with an upstairs dining area and very well lit (don't need a flashlight to take any food pictures lol). One of my friends upon hearing I had gone today shared she'd heard good things about Smashburger but was curious for my opinion and if I agreed. I absolutely did! Thank you for having me!

Not sure when this place opened, but welcome to NYC Smashburger. Smashburger is a better and friendlier version of Shakeshack. Conveniently located by numerous train lines and across Auntie Ann's Pretzels. Smashburger stands out with its bright theater lights( I like that their paying homage to the neighborhood they are in). Once entering, walk to the cashier and order. They of course ask for proof of vaccination card. They then hand you a number and the only sitting area is upstairs. They bring out the food. I felt bad watching the guy going up and down bringing peoples' food. I waited about five minutes and my meal was then brought. The black bean burger is one of the best burgers that I've gotten from a fast food restaurant. My fries were lightly seasoned with rosemary and garlic, and it was so damn good. My cookies and cream shake tasted like old fashioned Blue Bell Ice Cream- although I believe they use Häagen- Dazs and I like Blue Bell, but I love Häagen-Dazs. Also they have these cool chairs downstairz The sitting area was spacious with two flat screen televisions showcasing their food. The walls are decorated with murals of Times Square. Plus, if one is bored they can always pick up one of eight burger cookbooks lined against the walls to read. They are two soda machines. One downstairs and one upstairs. An A+ for having outlets at seats to charge phones. Another A+ for having Dr.Pepper as one of the drinking options. In order to keep the seating area clean, there aren't free for all napkins dispenser, salt, pepper, or ketchup packets. It all comes with your meal and if more are needed, one has to either ask the food runner or go downstairs and get them themselves. Conveniently, there's an elaborate an elevator to go the upstairs seating area. Not once did staff use it.., which makes sense. I hope this place becomes a fixture in Times Square.

I hate to give places bad reviews but I was very disappointed recently with the burger and fries that I took to go. First of all, when I ordered the place was relatively empty and it took quite a while for the burger and fries to come out. The quality of the burger was a meh. It didn't have the richness of a burger from shake shack or 7th Street burger, and the fries were cold and hard. I would expect them to be more crispy and taste fresher. I'm only a 3 min walk from here so i don't think the food quality should degrade that much by the time I got home.. Another thing, they really should get rid of that tip option on the screen. I think they really encounter this constantly since I wasn't the only one that had to be called back to the register to confirm or deny a tip.

The food was crap. Horrible service and the order was wrong in so many ways. Don't get the tots. They were cold and oily.

It's been awhile since I had a burger, but gave this place a try and got the black bean burger with sweet potato fries and an oreo shake. Overall, the burger was too salty. The fries were a bit limp (not crispy). The shake (while good) was mostly ice cream. Pricey too with burgers close to $10-12 (extra for avocado) and shakes at around $6. I think the bill came close to $25 for burger, fries, and shake! Seating is spacious upstairs with tables and booths. There are plugs available under some booth tables for easy phone charging, but some of the plugs do not work. There is a restroom available upstairs as well (just get the code on your receipt). Close to Port Authority bus station and a short walk to the center of Times Square. Pretty expensive for a burger especially with so many options in the area.

Double Bacon Smash & REESE'S Milkshake. GOOD. Had 2 Burger Patties topped with Cheese, Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato making it different from the other SmashBurger places. A moist and juicy Burger even with the extra Toppings and larger Bun. The Peanut Butter Shake was OKAY but could've been thicker in consistency and richer in taste. Now the BAD NEWS. Customer Service was HORRIBLE. The Cashier disappeared for a few minutes leaving the customers hanging at the front end. Another employee was hogging the Restroom talking on her phone and not using the facilities. Finally the dining area was FILTHY. While the Burger was GOOD I'd suggest you go to 7TH STREET, LOVELY'S or HARLEM SHAKE first. WALK DON'T RUN.

First time having Smashburger. The is not far from the heart of busy Times Square. Seating: There is indoor seating upstairs. There is plenty of space. You can access the seating by stairs or the elevator behind the counter. They check your vaccination status and id before they let you dine upstairs. I went during lunch time and there were plenty of seats upstairs. I am sure as this place get popular, it might be hard to get seats. Food: I ordered the the Double Bacon Smash, Smash fries and Oreo drink. The staff brings the food to you upstairs when it is ready, so that is really nice. Food took about 15 minutes to be ready. The burger and fries were fresh and delicious. The shake was on point. Bathroom: Bathroom is on the second floor. You have to ask the staff for the code.

Came here as part of a Yelp event. Would definitely come back if I needed a bite quick and in the area. Food (5/5) - especially taking into account the prices in midtown? Burger was good - decent char, juicy even though smashed, as expected. Bread was excellently soft though running the risk of being soggy if not consumed immediately. I got the chorizo burger, and the chorizo was a good salty/sweet oxymoron, and balanced out the patty well. Ordered a side of brussel sprouts, well seasoned, something like spicy tajin. I almost liked these more than the burger. Also got a chocolate shake (was gunning for the peppermint hot chocolate shake but put in my order wrong whoops) - not as thick as I would have liked but for the size it was, it was actually really filling. Definitely get the whipped cream. It is on the milkier side, buyer beware. Ambiance (4/5) - your typical fast food joint, a little crowded but they had an area specifically for online orders and pick ups. Fairly efficient all around. Service (4/5) - pretty fast on the burger though the shake took a longer period of time, not sure why; think it might be two procedures.

I went in Smashburger thinking it would be another mediocre burger joint (not bad, but not the best), but was totally proved wrong! I got there RIGHT before the lunch rush and ordered a Classic Smash Burger, a Spicy Baja Burger, Smash Fries, and an Oreo milkshake. After ordering, they give you a number and h they'll actually bring your food to you, which is quite fancy for a fast-food place in the middle of busy Times Square! The shake came first, then the burgers and fries, and after the obligatory food pictures, we dug in. And we were blown away! The patties were extremely well seasoned (if you have a lighter palate, you might even find it to be too seasoned, but I loved it), and they do NOT skimp on the sauce and guacamole . And the Oreo milkshake was filled with Oreo chunks and pieces - MUCH more than other restaurants put in an "Oreo" milkshake. I would definitely return whenever I need a quick and delicious bite! I love the Double Bacon Smash burgers here. We stopped here 2 months ago on my business trip here for lunch. I had not been to Smashburger in ages. Very busy location here. Was a little crowded in hectic in here. But customer service was ok. Nobody was rude to me.

Got to try smash burger through a yelp elite promo! Shake shack def has some competition bc the food here is solid. I got the mushroom Swiss burger with a large smash fries. The burger honestly is restaurant quality! Seasoned perfectly and the beef was good quality - tasted really fresh. The smash fries were crunchy and had a tasty seasoning. I also got an Oreo shake and it's one of the best shakes I've had. The shake had fine Oreo pieces so it's came up the straw easily. Overall, would highly recommend!

Mhew! It's fast food in Manhattan. I can't really complain about the place cause I got what I expected. Fast unhealthy food that I can consume promptly and be on my way. The place has plenty of seating on the second floor and seems handicap accessible by means of an elevator to the second floor. Situated in the busiest section of Manhattan you have TONS of options so in all likelihood you will visit here with one simple desire, to get a quick meal that will most certainly clog your arteries but it taste pretty good. Certainly not the best burger I've ever had but taste nonetheless.

So I finally had the Mac n cheese smashburger and it was just that. A smashbirger with Mac & cheese. So warm and gooey. Sweet potato fries were the perfect addition. I thoroughly enjoyed. Would like to have it again.

Smash burger inaspetg manager is nasty she came to my table and brang me my food with a attitude and said I can't purchase 2kids meals for adults first of all I always done it and I don't eat it all so why should I buy regular she was very rude so I got rude back and ignored her and said yeah yeah but she told me this with a attitude so rude never going back again

Truly a great spot! Double cheeseburger with onions and mushrooms with a shake, nothing can beat that! You order at the counter and then take your number to the top floor to grab a table. They will deliver it to your table if they have enough staff, otherwise, they will call your number for you to go to the counter to pick it up.

I wish I was more into fast food. This was your typical fast food burger. They don't heat the buns so the burgers don't stay hot long. The fries get super cold quickly too? The onion rings are kind of closer to like those fried onion crisps. Their sauce is very salty so if you don't like that maybe don't keep it in on the burger. Their milkshake was good. The servers we had were really nice.
